The Sign of the Woman Clothed with the Sun

Revelation 12:1-17         The Revelation of Jesus Christ [in Smaller Chunks]

And a great wonder, [a.k.a. a sign,] appeared there in heaven. A woman clothed with the sun, & the moon [was] under her feet. And upon her head, [was] a crown [with] 12 stars. And she [was] with child, [a.k.a. pregnant, laboring] in birth, [with birth] [pains,] [during] [delivery.]

And another wonder, [a.k.a. sign,] appeared there in heaven. And [I, a.k.a. John,] [saw] a great, [a.k.a. large,] red dragon, having 7 heads, & 10 horns, & 7 crowns upon his heads. [Daniel 7:7-8 After this, in the night visions, I [also] saw a 4th beast, dreadful & terrible, & exceedingly strong. And it had [large] iron teeth & it devoured, & [broke into] pieces, & [trampled what remained] with [his] feet. And it was [different] from all the beasts that were before, [a.k.a. prior to,] it. And it had 10 horns. I considered the horns, & [saw] another little horn come up there among them, before whom there were 3 of the 1st horns, [pulled] up by the roots. And, [saw] in this [little] horn [there] were eyes, like the eyes of [a] man, & a mouth, speaking great, [a.k.a. arrogant,] things.]

And his tail drew [1/3] of the stars of heaven, & cast, [a.k.a. threw,] them to the earth. And the dragon stood [in front of] the woman, [who] was ready to be delivered, [in order] to devour her Child, as soon as It was born.

*And she brought forth, [a.k.a. delivered,] a [male] Child, Who was to rule all nations with [an] iron rod. And her Child was caught up to God, & to His throne. [Revelation 19:15-16 And a sharp sword goes out of His mouth, [so] that He should [strike] the nations with it, & He shall rule them with a rod of iron. And He [tramples] the winepress, [with] the fierceness & wrath of Almighty God. And He has a Name written on His vesture, & on His thigh, KING OF KINGS, & LORD OF LORDS.]

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she [has] a place prepared [by] God, [so] that they should feed her there 1,260 days. [Revelation 11:3-4 And I will give power to My 2 witnesses, & they shall prophesy 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the 2 Olive Trees & the 2 candlesticks, [a.k.a. lampstands,] standing [in front of] the God of the earth.]

And there was war in heaven. Michael, [a.k.a. Arch Angel,] & his Angels fought against the dragon; & the dragon & his angels fought, & didn't prevail, [a.k.a. succeed.] Neither was there found in heaven [any] place [for them] anymore.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, [a.k.a. snake,] called the Devil, & Satan, which [deceives] the whole world, & he was cast out into the earth. And his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now [has:] Salvation, strength, & the Kingdom of our God, & the power of His Christ come. For the accuser of our brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] is cast down, [that] accused them day & night before our God. And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, & by the [Words] of their Testimony [about Jesus Christ.] And they didn't love their lives, [a.k.a. they risked their lives, until] death. [Revelation 2:10-11 [Don't] fear [any] of those things [that] you [shall] suffer. [Watch,] the devil shall cast some of you into prison, [so] that you may be tried, [a.k.a. tested.] And you shall have tribulation, 10 days. You, be faithful [until] death, & I will give you a crown of Life. He, [who] has an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit [says] to the churches. He, [who overcomes] shall not be hurt [from] the 2nd death.]

Therefore, you heavens, & you, [who] dwell in them rejoice. Woe, [a.k.a. distress,] to the [inhabitants] of the earth & the sea! For the devil [has] come down to you, having great wrath, [a.k.a. fury,] because he [knows] that he [has only] a short time.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman, [who delivered] the [male] Child. And the woman [was] given 2 wings of a great, [a.k.a. large,] eagle, [so] that she might fly to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished from the face of the serpent, for: a time, and times; & [1/2] a time. [Daniel 7:24-25 And the 10 horns [from] this kingdom, are 10 kings that shall arise. And another shall rise after them, & he shall be [different] from the 1st. And he shall subdue, [a.k.a. bring under control by persuasion or force,] 3 kings. And he shall speak, great, [a.k.a. arrogant,] words against the Most High, & shall wear out the saints of the Most High & think to change times & Laws: & they shall be given into his hand until a time, & times, and the dividing of time.]

And out of his mouth, the serpent cast out water [like] a flood after the woman, [so] that he might cause her to be carried away [by] the flood. And the earth helped the woman, & the earth opened [its] mouth, & swallowed up the flood, [that] the dragon cast out of his mouth. [Isaiah 59:19-20 *So [those,] from the West, shall fear, [a.k.a. respect:] the Name of the Lord, & His glory from the rising sun, [a.k.a. in the East.] The [Holy] Spirit [from] the Lord, shall lift up a standard, [a.k.a. banner or flag,] against him, when the enemy shall come in like a flood. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, & to [those, who return] from [sin] in Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel, says] the Lord.]

And the dragon was wroth, [a.k.a. furious,] with the woman, & went to make war with the [rest] of her seed, [a.k.a. descendants, who] keep the commandments of God & have the Testimony [about] Jesus Christ.

And a reed, [similar] to a [measuring] rod was given [to] me there. And the Angel stood, saying, Rise [up,] & measure the temple of God, the altar, & [count] [those who] worship [in there.]

But leave out, & [don't] measure the [courtyard, that] is [outside] the temple; for it is given to the Gentiles. And they shall tread, [a.k.a. walk.] the Holy City underfoot, 42 months. [Daniel 7:24-27 And the 10 horns [from] this kingdom, are 10 kings that shall arise. And another shall rise after them, & he shall be [different] from the 1st. And he shall subdue, [a.k.a. conquer,] 3 kings. And he shall speak, great, [a.k.a. arrogant,] words against the Most High, & shall wear out the saints of the Most High & think to change times & Laws: & they shall be given into his hand until a time, & times, and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, [a.k.a. wait] & they shall take away his dominion, to consume & to destroy until the end. And the kingdom & dominion, under the whole heaven, & the greatness of the kingdom, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, Whose Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom, & all dominions shall serve & obey Him.]

And I will give power to My 2 Witnesses, & they shall prophesy 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. [Zechariah 4:11-14 Then, I answered, & said to him, What are these 2 Olive Trees upon the right & left [sides] of the candlestick, [a.k.a. lampstand?] And I [asked] again, & said to him, What [are] these 2 Olive Branches, [that] [go] through the 2 golden pipes, & empty the golden oil out of [them?] And he answered me, & said, [Don't] you [know] what these [are?] And I said, No, my lord. Then he said, These are the 2 Anointed Ones, [who] stand by the Lord of the whole earth.]

These are the 2 Olive Trees, & the 2 candlesticks, [a.k.a. lampstands, in front of] the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire [proceeds] out of their mouth, & [devours] their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, he must be killed in this manner.

These have power to shut heaven, [so] that it [doesn't] rain [during] the days of their prophecy. And [they] have power over waters to turn them to blood, & to [strike] the earth with all plagues, as often as they [want.]

And when they have finished their Testimony, [about Jesus Christ,] the beast that [ascends, a.k.a. goes up,] out of the bottomless pit, shall make war against them, & shall overcome them, & kill them.

And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called: Sodom, & Egypt, where our Lord was also crucified. And [those] of the: people; [families;] tongues, [a.k.a. languages;] & nations; shall see their dead bodies 3 ½ days, & shall not [allow] their dead bodies to be put in graves.

And [those, who] dwell, [a.k.a. live,] upon the earth, shall rejoice over them, & make [merriment,] & shall send gifts to another; because these 2 prophets tormented [those, who] dwelt on the earth.

And after 3 ½ days, the [Holy] Spirit of life from God entered into them. And they stood upon their feet, & great fear fell upon [those, who] saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying to them, Come up [here.] And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud. [Nehemiah 9:25-26 And they took, [a.k.a. captured,] strong cities; & a fat, [a.k.a. rich,] land; & possessed houses full of goods, [a.k.a. possessions;] wells, [already] [dug;] vineyards; [olive groves;] & fruit trees in abundance. So, they [ate,] & were filled, [a.k.a. satisfied,] & became fat, & delighted themselves in Your great goodness. [Still,] they were disobedient, & rebelled against You, & cast, [a.k.a.] threw Your Law, behind their backs, & slew, [a.k.a. killed,] Your prophets, [who] testified against them to [warn &] [return] them to You, and [instead,] they [did] great, [a.k.a. outrageous,] provocations.]

And their enemies [saw] them. And the same hour, there was a great, [a.k.a. enormous,] earthquake, & 1/10 of the city fell. And in the earthquake, 7,000 men were [killed,] & the [rest] were [frightened,] & gave glory to the God of heaven. The 2nd woe is past. And [look,] the 3rd woe [comes] quickly.

And the 7th Angel sounded [the trumpet,] & there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world [have] become the kingdoms of our Lord, & His Christ. And He shall [rule] forever & ever.

And the 24 elders, [who] sat on their seats, [in front of] God, fell upon their faces, & worshiped God, saying, We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, [Who Is,] & [Was,] & [Is] to Come; because You [have] taken to [Yourself,] Your great power, & [have ruled.]

And the nations were angry, & Your wrath [has] come. And the time [for] the dead, [so] that they should be judged, & that You [should] give [the] reward to: your servants, the prophets; the saints; [those powerless & powerful, who] fear, [a.k.a. respect,] Your Name. And [should] destroy [those, who] destroy, [a.k.a. devastate,] the earth.

And [God's] temple was opened in heaven. And in His temple, the Ark of His Testament, [a.k.a. Covenant, were] seen there. And there [was: lightning;] voices;[ thundering,] an earthquake; & great, [a.k.a. large,] hail.

And I saw [coming] down from heaven, another mighty Angel, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was upon his head, & his face was [like] it [was] the sun. And his feet [were] [like] pillars, [a.k.a. columns,] of fire.

And he had a little Book open in his hand. And he [put] his right foot upon the sea, & his left foot on the earth, & cried [out] [like] when a lion [roars.] And when he had cried [out,] 7 thunders uttered their voices. And when the 7 thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: & I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Seal up those things, [that] the 7 thunders uttered, & [don't] write them.

And the Angel [that] I saw [standing] upon the sea, & upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, & [swore] by Him, [Who lives] forever & ever; Who created heaven; the things that are [in there;] & the earth, & the things that are [in there,] & the sea, & the things that are [in there, so] that there should no longer be time, [a.k.a. delay.] [Daniel 12:6-9 And one said to the man clothed in linen, [who] was upon the [rivers'] waters, How long shall it be [until] the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, [who] was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right & left [hands] to heaven, & [swore] by Him, [Who lives] forever & ever, that it shall be for: a time; times; & [1/2] [a time.] And when He shall have accomplished, [a.k.a. finished, scattering] the power of the Holy people, all these things shall be finished. And I heard, but I [didn't] understand. Then, I said, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel. For the Words are closed up & sealed [until] the time of the end.]

But [during] the days, when the voice of the 7th Angel shall begin to sound [the trumpet,] the mystery of God should be finished, [like] He [has] declared to his servants, the prophets. And the voice [that] I heard from heaven, [spoke] to me again, & said, Go & take the little Book [that] is open in the hand of the Angel, [who stands] upon the sea & upon the earth.

And I went to the Angel, & said to him, Give me the little Book. And he said to me, Take it, & eat it up. And it shall make your belly, [a.k.a. stomach,] bitter, but it shall be [like] sweet honey in your mouth.

And I took the little Book out of the Angel's hand, & ate it up. And it was sweet [like] honey in my mouth. And as soon as I had eaten it, my [stomach] was bitter.

And he said to me, You must prophesy again, [in front of] many: peoples; nations; tongues, [a.k.a. languages;] & kings.

One of the Three Woes

And the 5th Angel sounded [the trumpet,] & I saw a star fall from heaven to earth. [Luke 10:17-18 And the 70 [additional disciples] returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the [demons] are subject to us, through Your Name. And [Jesus Christ] said to them, I [saw] Satan fall from heaven, [like] lightning [falls.]

And the key to the bottomless pit was given [to the] [5th Angel.] And he opened the bottomless pit. And smoke arose out of the pit there, [like] smoke [rises] [from] a [large] furnace. And the sun & the air were darkened, [because] of the smoke [from] the pit.

And out of the smoke, locusts came upon the earth there. And to [the locusts,] was given power, [like] the scorpions of the earth have power. [Exodus 10:12-14 And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand for the locusts, over the land of Egypt. [So] that, they may come up upon the land of Egypt, & eat every herb, [a.k.a. all vegetation,] of the land, even all that the hail [has] left. And Moses stretched [out] his rod over the land of Egypt, & all that: day, & night, the Lord brought an East wind upon the land. And when it was morning, the East wind brought the locusts. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, & rested in all of [Egypt's] coasts. [The locusts] were very grievous. [Prior] [to] them, there were no locusts such as [these,] & neither shall such be after them.]

And it was commanded that they shouldn't hurt, [a.k.a. harm:] the grass of the earth; any green thing; & any tree; but only those men, [who don't] have the seal of God in their foreheads.

And to [the locusts] it was given that they shouldn't kill them, but that they should be tormented 5 months. And their torment was [like] the torment of a scorpion, when he [strikes] a man. And [during] those days, men shall seek death, & shall not find it, & shall desire to die, & death shall flee from them.

And the shapes of the locusts were [similar] to: horses prepared to [go to] battle. And on their heads were, [like they] were gold crowns. And their faces were [like] the faces of men. And they had hair [like] the hair of women, & their teeth were [like lions'] teeth. And they had breastplates, [like they] were iron breastplates.

And the sound of their wings was [like] the sound of chariots, [with] many horses running to battle. And they had tails, [similar] to scorpions, & their tails [stung.] And their power was to hurt men [for] 5 months.

And they had a king over them, [who] is the Angel of the bottomless pit. Whose name in the Hebrew tongue, [a.k.a. language,] is Abaddon, but in the Greek [language,] his name [is] Apollyon. One woe, [a.k.a. distress,] is past. And, [look,] 2 more woes come [afterwards.]

And the 6th Angel sounded [the trumpet,] & from the 4 horns of the golden altar, [that] is [in front of] God, I heard a voice, saying to the 6th Angel, [who] had the trumpet, [Loosen,] the 4 Angels [that] are bound in the great Euphrates River.

And the 4 Angels were [loosened, who] were prepared for [a] [specific:] hour; day; month; & year, to slay [1/3] of men. And the number of the horsemen [for] the army [was:] two hundred thousand, thousand, [a.k.a. 200 million,] & I heard the number of them.

And in the vision, I saw the horses, & [those, who] sat on them [like this:] having beast-plates of: fire; jacinth; & brimstone. And the [horses'] heads were [like lions'] heads.

And fire, smoke, & brimstone, issued, [a.k.a. proceeded,] out of their mouths. [1/3] of men, [were] killed by these 3: by the fire; smoke; & brimstone, [that proceeded] out of their mouths. [Ezekiel 38:22 *And I will plead against [them,] with: pestilence & [bloodshed;] & I will rain [down] on [them, their groups,] & many people, [who] are with [them,] [with] an overflowing rain; [large] hailstones; fire; & brimstone.]

For [the locusts'] power is in their: mouth, & tails. For their tails were [similar] to serpents, & they had heads, & hurt with [their mouths.]

And the rest of the men, [who] weren't killed by these plagues, [but] [still didn't repent] of the works [made] [from] their hands, that they shouldn't worship: [demons,] & idols of: gold; silver; brass; stone; & wood, [that can't:] see, hear, nor walk. Neither [did] they [repent] of their: murders; sorceries; fornication, [a.k.a. adultery;] nor [did they repent] of their thefts.

[Revelation 22:12-15 *[Watch,] I come quickly, & My reward is with Me, & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are: dogs; sorcerers; [sexual traffickers;] murderers; idolaters; & [whoever loves] & [makes] [up] [lies.]
