About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Job 3:1-26 Job Curses the Day He was Born & Wishes He was in the Grave

Job Curses the Day He was Born & Wishes He was in the Grave

Job 3:1-26                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

After this, Job opened his mouth, & cursed his day, [a.k.a. day he was born.] And Job [spoke] & said, Let the day perish [in which] I was born, & the night in which it was said, There is a [male] child conceived.

Let [that] day be darkness, & [don’t] let God regard [that day] from above. Neither let the light shine upon it. Let darkness & the shadow of death, stain it. Let a cloud dwell upon it; & let the blackness of day terrify it.

As for that night, let darkness seize it; & [don't] let it [be included in] the days of the year. [Don't] let it [be among] the number of the months. Let that night be [lonely,] & let no joyful voice come [in it.]

Let them, who are ready to raise up their [mournful] [outcries, to] curse the day. Let [its] stars of twilight be [darkened.] Let it look for light, but have none. Neither let it see the [sunrise] of day, because it [didn't close] up the doors of my mother's womb. Nor [did it] [hide the] sorrow from [my] eyes.

Why [didn't] I [die] from the womb? Why didn't I [perish] when I came out of the belly? Why [didn't] the knees prevent me [from being born?] Or why [didn't] the breasts that  I should suck [stop me?] For now, I should have lain still, & been quiet. I should have slept [in death.] [Psalm 13:3-4 O Lord my God, hear me, & consider, [a.k.a. think about it,] & [enlighten] my eyes, lest I sleep, the sleep of death. Lest my enemy [says,] I have prevailed against him, & those, [who] trouble me, rejoice when I'm [removed.]

Then, I [would] [have] been at rest, with [the] kings & counselors of the earth, [who] build places for themselves [that are:] desolate, [a.k.a. abandoned.] Or with princes, who had gold, & filled their houses with silver.

Or [I had been like] a hidden untimely, [a.k.a. premature,] birth; [like] [stillborn] infants, [who] never saw light. There, the wicked cease from troubling [others,] & the weary are there at rest. There, the prisoners rest together. They [don't] hear the voice of the oppressor.

The [powerless & the powerful] are there; & the servant is free from his master. [Why] is light given to him [who] is in misery, & life [is given] to [those with] bitter [souls, who] long for death, but it [doesn't come,] & [they] dig, [a.k.a. search,] for it, more than for [hidden] treasures, [who] rejoice exceedingly, & are glad, when they can find the grave?

Why is light given to a man whose [path] is [hidden, & to] whom God [has] hedged in? For my sighing [comes] before I eat, & my roarings, [a.k.a. groans,] are poured out like the waters.

For the thing [that] I greatly feared, [has] come upon me. And [what] I was afraid of, [has happened] to me. I wasn't in safety, & neither [did] I [have] rest, [nor] was I quiet, [still] trouble came.

Job 2:1-13 What Happened to Job's Body

What Happened to Job's Body

Job 2:1-13                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

Again, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord. And Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord. And the Lord said to Satan, From [where] [have] you [come?] And Satan answered the Lord, & said, From going to & fro [on] the earth, & from walking up & down [on] it.

And the Lord said to Satan, [Have] you considered My servant, Job, that there is [no one] like him [on] the earth, a perfect, [a.k.a. blameless,] & upright man, one [who fears, a.k.a. respects,] God, & [avoids] evil? And still [Job holds tight to] his integrity, although you [moved] Me against [Job,] to destroy him without cause.

And Satan answered the Lord, & said, Skin for skin, [yes,] all that a man [has,] he will give for his life. But put [out] Your hand now, & touch his flesh & bone, & he will curse You to Your face.

And the Lord said to Satan, [Look, Job's] in your hand, but save his life. So, Satan went [out] from the presence of the Lord, & [struck] Job with [very painful] boils from the sole of his foot to [the] crown [of] his [head.]

[Then,] Job took [himself] a [piece of broken pottery] to scrape himself [with it.] And [Job] sat down among the ashes. Then, [Job's] wife said to him, [Do] you still [maintain] your integrity? Curse God, & die.

But [Job] said to her, You [speak like] one of the foolish women [speak.] What? Shall we [only] receive good at the hand of God, & not receive [bad] [things?] In all this, Job didn't sin with his lips, [in what he said.]

Now, when Job's 3 friends heard of all [these bad things] that [had] come upon [Job,] they [each] came from his own [area:] Eliphaz, the Temanite; Bildad, the Shuhite, & Zophar, the Naamathite, for they had [arranged] to come together to mourn with [Job,] & to comfort him.

And when they [looked] up [from a far distance,] [they] [didn't know] him. They lifted up their [voices,] & wept. They [each tore] his [cloak,] & sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

So, they sat down with [Job] on the ground [for] 7 days & 7 nights, [no one spoke] a word to [Job, because] they saw that [Job's] grief was very great.

Job 1:1-22 What Happened to Job's Family & Possessions

What Happened to Job's Family & Possessions

Job 1:1-22                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; & [this] man was perfect, [a.k.a. blameless,] & upright, & [someone who] feared, [a.k.a. respected,] God, & [avoided] evil. And 7 sons & 3 daughters were born to [Job] there.

Also, [Job owned:] 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 [female donkeys,] & [he had] a very [large] household. So that [Job] was the greatest of all the men of the East. And [Job’s] sons went & feasted in their houses, [each] [on] his day, & [they] sent & called for their 3 sisters to eat, & drink with them.

And it [happened,] when the days of their feasting were about [over,] that Job sent & sanctified them, & rose up early in the morning, & offered burnt offerings, [a.k.a. sacrifices,] according to the number of all [of] them. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, & cursed God in their hearts. Job did [this] continually.

Now, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, & Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, [Where] [have] you [come] [from?] Then, Satan answered the Lord, & said, [I came] from going to & fro [on] the earth, & from walking up & down [on] it.

And the Lord said to Satan, [Have] You considered My servant, Job? There is [no one] like him [on] the earth, a [blameless,] & upright man. [Someone who] fears, [a.k.a. respects,] God, & [avoids] evil.

Then, Satan answered the Lord, & said, [Does] Job fear, [a.k.a. respect,] God for [nothing?] [Haven't] You made [a] hedge [around:] him, & [around] his house, & [around] all that he [has] on every side? You [have] blessed the work of his hands, & his [possessions are] increased in the land.

But put [out] Your hand now, & touch all he [has,] & he will curse You to Your face. And the Lord said to Satan, [Look,] all that [Job has] is in your power, only [don't] put [out] your hand upon [him.]

So, Satan went [out] from the presence of the Lord. And there was a day when [Job's] sons, & daughters were eating, & drinking wine in their eldest brother's house.

And a messenger came there to Job, & said, The oxen were plowing, & the [donkeys] were feeding beside them, & the Sabeans [got] them, & took them away. [Yes,] they have [killed] your servants with the edge of the sword; & only I alone escaped to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another [servant] also came there. [He] said, The fire of God [has] fallen from heaven, & [has] burned up the sheep, & the [other] servants, & [destroyed] them. And only I [have] escaped alone to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another also came there. [He] said, The Chaldeans [formed] 3 bands [of raiders,] & [got] the camels, & have carried them away, & [struck down,] & [killed] the servants with the edge of the sword. And only I [have] escaped alone to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another also came there. [He] said, Your sons & daughters were eating, & drinking wine in their eldest brother's house. And [see,] a great wind from the wilderness came there, & [struck] the 4 corners of the house, & it fell upon the young men, & they are dead.

Only I [have] escaped alone to tell you. Then, Job arose, & [tore] his [robe,] & shaved his head, [in mourning,] & fell down upon the ground, & worshiped [the Lord God,] & said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb, & I shall return naked [when I die.]

The Lord gave, & the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. In all this, Job [didn't sin,] nor [did he] [blame] God foolishly.

Esther 10:1-3 Mordecai was Next in Power to the King

Mordecai' was Next in Power to the King

Esther 10:1-3    The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

And king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes,] laid, [a.k.a. placed,] a tribute upon the land, & upon the [coastal islands] of the sea.

[Matthew 22:17-21 Therefore, tell us, What [do] you think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? But Jesus [realized] their wickedness, & said, Why [do] you tempt Me, you hypocrites? [Show] Me the tribute money. And they brought to [Jesus] a penny. And He said to them, Whose is this image, & [inscription?] They said to Him, Caesar's. Then He [said] to them, [Give] to Caesar, the things [that] are Caesar's, & unto God, the things that are God's.

Aren't the declaration of [Mordecai's] greatness, [in which] the king advanced him, all & his: [great] acts of power, & might, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media & Persia?

For Mordecai, the Jew, was next to king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes,] & [sought] the wealth of his people, & [was] great among the Jews, & was accepted [by] the multitude of his brethren, speaking peace to all his [descendants.]

[Psalm 122:8-9 For my brethren, & my companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you. Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.]

Esther 9:1-32 The Jews Defend Themselves Against Their Enemies

The Jews Defend Themselves Against Their Enemies

Esther 9:1-32           The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, in the 12th month, [which] is, Adar, on the same 13th day, when the enemies of the Jews [had] hoped to have [overpowered] them, when the king's [original] [command,] & decree drew near to [being carried out,] (although] it was turned to the [opposite,] that the Jews had [control] over [those, who] hated them.)

The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes,] to [seize those who] sought their [harm,] & no man could withstand them.

For the fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of [the Jews was] upon all people. And all the: rulers, lieutenants, deputies, & officers of the king, [in] the provinces, helped the Jews; because of the fear, [a.k.a. respect, for] Mordecai fell upon them.

For Mordecai was [important] in the king's house, [a.k.a. palace,] & his fame went throughout all the provinces, [because] this man, Mordecai, [grew] greater & greater. [Like this,] the Jews [struck] all their enemies [down] [with] the: sword, slaughter & destruction. And they did what they [wanted] to those [who] hated them.

And in the palace [of] Shushan, [a.k.a. Susa,] & Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha, Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha, Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai, & Vajezatha, [a.k.a. Vaizatha,] the Jews [killed,] & destroyed 500 men,

They slew the 10 sons of Haman, the son of Hammedatha, & the enemy of the Jews. But they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.] On that day, the number of those slain was brought before the king, in the palace [of] Shusan.

And the king said to queen Esther, The Jews have slain & destroyed 500 men [at] the palace in Shushan & the 10 sons of Haman. What have they done in the rest of the king's provinces?

What is your petition now? And it shall be granted [to] you; or what further, is your request? And it shall be done. Then, Esther said, If it [pleases] the king, let it be granted to the Jews [who] are in Shushan, to do tomorrow, according to this day's decree, & let Haman's 10 sons be hanged upon the gallows.

And the king commanded it to be done. And the decree was given at Sushan; & they [hung] Haman's 10 sons. The Jews [who] were in Shushan gathered themselves together on the 14th day, also of the month Adar, & slew 300 men at Shushan, but they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.]

But the other Jews [who] were in the king's provinces, gathered themselves together, & stood [up] for their lives, & had rest, [a.k.a. peace,] from their enemies, & slew 75,000 of their [enemies,] but they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.]

On the 13th & 14th [days] of the month, Adar, they rested, & made it a day of feasting & gladness. But the Jews [who] were at Shushan, assembled together on the 13th, 14th, & 15th [days of Adar,] they rested, & made it a day of feasting & gladness.

Therefore, the Jews [from] the villages, [who lived] in towns [without walls,] made the 14th day of the month, Adar, a day of gladness, feasting, a [holiday,] & sending portions [of food] to one another.

And Mordecai wrote these things, & sent letters to all the Jews [who] were in all of king [Ahasuerus'] provinces, both [near] & far, to [establish] this among them, that they should keep, [a.k.a. celebrate,] the 14th & 15th [days] of the month, Adar, [each year.]

[During] the days [in which] the Jews rested from their enemies, & the month [that] was turned from sorrow to joy, & from mourning into a [holiday,] that they should make them days of: feasting, joy & sending portions [of food] to one another, & gifts to the poor.

And the Jews [set about] to do [like] they had begun, & as Mordecai had written to them, because Haman, the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised, [a.k.a. plotted,] against the Jews to destroy them, & had cast the lot, Pur, to consume them, & to destroy them.

But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that [Haman's] wicked device, [that] he [plotted] against the Jews, should return upon his own head, & that he, & his sons should be [hung] on the gallows.

[For this reason,] they called these days: Purim, after the name of Pur, [because of] all the words of this letter, & [what] they had seen [related to] this matter, & [what] had [happened] to them.

The Jews took [it] upon [themselves,] upon their [descendants,] & all [who] joined [with] them, [to ordain that without] fail, they would [celebrate] these 2 days according to [how it's] [written, at its] appointed time every year.

And that these days should be remembered, & kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, & every city. And these days of Purim, should not fail from [being remembered] among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish among their [descendants.]

Then, queen Esther, [Abihail's] daughter, & Mordecai, the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this 2nd letter of Purim. [Esther 2:7 And [Mordecai] brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother. And the [maiden] was [lovely] & beautiful; whom Mordecai took for his own daughter, when her father & mother were dead.]

And [Mordecai] sent the letters to the 127 provinces, to all the Jews, of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace & truth, to conform these days of Purim in their appointed times, according as Mordecai, the Jew, & queen Esther had [commanded] them, & decreed the matters of [fasting,] & their [mournful weeping,] for themselves, & for their [descendants.]

And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; & it was written in the book.

Esther 8:1-17 Queen Esther Begs the King to Destroy the Gallows Haman Made for the Jews

Queen Esther Begs the King to Destroy the Gallows Haman Made for the Jews

Esther 8:1-17            The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

On that day, king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes, gave] the house of Haman, the Jew's enemy, to queen Esther. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what [his] [relationship] was to her.

And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, & gave it to Mordecai. And Esther [put] Mordecai over the house of Haman.

And Esther [spoke] again before the king & fell down at his feet, & [begged] him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman, the Agagite, & his device, [a.k.a. the gallows,] he had devised against the Jews.

Then, the king held out the golden [scepter] toward Esther. So, Esther arose, & stood [in front of] the king, & said, If it [pleases] the king, & if I've found [favor] in his sight, & [this] thing [seems] right before the king, & [I'm] pleasing in his eyes, let the written letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, [that] he wrote to destroy the Jews, be reversed, [who] are in all the king's provinces.

For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my [relatives?] Then, king Ahasuerus said to queen Esther & to Mordecai, the Jew, [Look,] I have given Esther the house of Haman, & they have hanged him upon the gallows, because he laid his hand [against] the Jews.

Also, you write for the Jews, as it [pleases] you in the king's name, & seal it with the king's ring. For no man may reverse the writing that is written in the king's name, & sealed with the king's ring.

Then, the king's scribes were called on the 23rd day of the 3rd month [of] Sivan, & it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded to: the Jews, the lieutenants, the deputies, & rulers, of the 127 provinces which are from India to Ethiopia, according to every people, to the Jews, & their writing, & language.

And [Mordecai] wrote [it,] in king Ahasuerus' name, & sealed it with the king's ring, & sent [the] letters by [postal] [riders] on horseback, mules, camels, & young dromedaries.

[In which] the king granted the Jews, [who] were in every city to gather themselves together, & to stand [up] for their [lives,] [against those, who might want] to: destroy, slay, & cause [them] to perish.

All the people [were given] power [over any] province, that would assault them, both little ones, & women, & [they were] to take [their plunder from] them for a [prize.] [On] one day, in all of king [Ahaserus'] provinces, [specifically,] the 13th day of the 12th month, which is the month, Adar.

The copy of the [written command] [was] to be given, & published in every province to all [the] people, [so] that the Jews should be ready against that day, to avenge themselves on their enemies.

So, the [postal] [riders,] rode upon: mules, & camels, & went out, being [hurried to continue] on, by the king's [command.] And the decree was given at the palace [in] Shushan, [a.k.a. Susa.]

And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal [clothing] of: blue, & white, & with a garment of fine linen & purple, & with a [large] crown of gold. And the city of Shushan rejoiced, & was glad.

The Jews [were] light [hearted, with:] gladness, joy, & [honor.] And in every: province, & city, [wherever] the king's [command,] & his decree came, the Jews had joy, & gladness, a feast, & a [holiday.] And many people of the land became Jews; for the fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of the Jews came upon them.
