Psalm 106:1-48 Book# 4 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
O give thanks to the Lord; & you, praise the Lord. For He is good, & His mercy [endures] forever. [Jeremiah 33:11-12 The [sound] of joy, & gladness, & the voice of: the bridegroom, & the bride. The [voices] of [those who] shall say, Praise the Lord of Hosts: for the Lord is good, & His mercy [endures] forever. And of [those who] shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the [Lord's] house. |
For I will cause [those who were] [captive] to return [to] the land, [like] at the [beginning, says] the Lord. The Lord of Hosts [says this;] In this place, & in all [its] cities, which [are] desolate, without man, & without [animals,] shall [again] be [a] habitation [for] shepherds [making] their flocks lie down.] |
Who can [express] the mighty acts of the Lord? [Genesis 12:17 And the Lord plagued Pharaoh & his house with great plagues, because of Sarai, [a.k.a. Sarah, [Abram's, a.k.a. Abraham's,] wife.] |
Who can [declare] all His praise? Blessed are [those who] keep judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] & he [who does] [what is] [righteous] at all times. Remember me, O Lord, with the [favor] that You [delivered] to Your people. |
O visit me with Your Salvation, [so] that I may see the good of Your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, & that I may glory, [a.k.a. boast,] with Your inheritance. [Psalm 119:132 Look upon me, & be merciful to me, [like] You [used] to do to those [who] love Your Name.] |
We have sinned with our [forefathers,] & have committed [sins,] & have done wickedly. [Exodus 20:4-6 Thou [shal]l not make [for yourselves] any [carved] image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth [below,] or that is in the water under the earth. |
You [shall] not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, Am a Jealous God, visiting the [sin] of the fathers, upon the children [until] the 3rd & 4th generation of [those who] hate Me. And [demonstrating] mercy to 1,000's of [those who] love Me.] |
Our [forefathers didn't understand] Your wonders, [a.k.a. miracles,] in Egypt. They [didn't remember] the multitude of Your mercies; but [provoked] Him at the sea, even at the Red Sea. [Exodus 14:10-12 And when Pharaoh drew [near,] the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel lifted up their eyes, & [saw] the Egyptians marched after them. |
And they were [extremely] afraid, & the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel cried out to the Lord. And they said to Moses, [Have] you taken us away to die in the wilderness, because there were no graves in Egypt? |
[For what reason, have] you dealt [like this] with us, to carry us [forward] out of Egypt? [Didn't] we tell you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, [so] that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.] |
[Still, the Lord God] saved them for His Name's sake, [so] that He might make His mighty power known. [Exodus 9:14-16 For I will at this time, send all My plagues upon your heart, & upon your servants, & your people; [so] that you [may] know that there is none like Me in all the earth. |
For now, I will stretch out My hand, [so] that I may [strike] you, & your people with pestilence; & you [shall] be cut off from the earth. And [indeed,] for this very [reason,] I have raised you up, [in order] to [demonstrate within] you My power, & that My Name may be declared throughout all the earth.] |
Also, He rebuked the Red Sea, & it was dried up: so He led them through the depths, [like] through the wilderness. [Exodus 14:21-22 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, & the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong East wind all that night, & made the sea dry land, & the waters were divided. |
And the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel went into the midst of the [Red] Sea upon the dry ground, & the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, & on their left.] |
And He saved them from the hand of him, [who] hated them, & redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies. There wasn't one of them left. Then, they believed His Words, & they sang His praise. |
[Exodus 14:30-31 [Like this,] the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; & Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore. And Israel saw that great work [that] the Lord did upon the Egyptians, & the people feared, [a.k.a. respected,] the Lord, & believed the Lord, & His servant, Moses.] |
They soon [forgot] His works, & they [didn't wait] for His [advice;] but exceedingly lusted in the wilderness, & [tested] God in the desert. And He gave them their request; but sent [emptiness] into their [souls.] |
[Numbers 11:31-32 And a wind went [out] there from the Lord, & brought quails from the sea, & let them fall by the camp, [like] it were a day's journey on [every] side [all around] the camp, & [like] it [was] 2 cubits high upon the [surface] of the earth. |
And the people stood up all that: day, & night, & they gathered the quails. He [who] gathered the least, gathered 10 homers, & they spread them all [around] for themselves [all around] the camp.] |
Also, they envied Moses in the camp, & Aaron, the [Lord's] saint. [Numbers 16:2-3 And they rose up [in front of] Moses, with [some] of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, & 250 princes [from] the assembly, famous men of [distinction] in the congregation. |
And they gathered themselves together against: Moses & Aaron, & said to them, You take too much upon [yourselves, since] all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, & the Lord is among them. [For what reason,] then [do] you lift yourselves above the [Lord's] congregation?] |
The earth opened & swallowed up Dathan, & covered the company of Abiram. And a fire was [ignited,] in their company; & the flame burned up the wicked. They made a calf in Horeb, & worshiped the [molded] image. |
[Exodus 32:3-5 And all the people [broke] off the golden earrings [that] were in their ears, & brought them to Aaron. And he received them [from] their hand, & fashioned it with an [engraving] tool, after he had made it a [molded] calf. |
And they said, These [are] your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar [in front of] it. And Aaron made [a] proclamation, & said, Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord.] |
[Like this,] they changed their glory into the [shape] of an ox that [eats] grass. [Jeremiah 1:16 And I will utter My judgments against them [about] all their wickedness, [those] who have [abandoned] Me, & have burned incense to other gods, & worshiped the works [made from] their own hands.] |
They [forgot] God, their [Savior, Who] had done great things in Egypt: wondrous works in the land of Ham, & [terribly awesome] things by the Red Sea. Therefore, He said that He would destroy them [if] Moses, His chosen, hadn't stood [in front of] Him in the [torn relationship,] to turn away His [fury,] lest He should destroy them. |
[Yes,] they despised the pleasant land, & they [didn't believe] His Word, but [grumbled] in their tents, & [didn't pay attention] to the voice of the Lord. [Numbers 14:2-3 And all the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel [grumbled] against Moses & Aaron. |
And the whole congregation said to them, [We wanted] God, that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would [rather] God, that we had died in this wilderness! And [for what reason has] the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, [so] that our wives & our children should be [easy] prey? [Wouldn't] it not [be] better for us to return into Egypt?] |
Therefore, He lifted up His hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness, & to also overthrow their seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] among the nations, & to scatter them in the lands. They also joined themselves to Baal Peor, & ate the sacrifices of the dead. |
[Numbers 25:2-3 And they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods, & the people [ate,] & bowed down to their gods. And Israel joined [itself] to Baal Peor, & the anger of the Lord [grew] against Israel.] |
[By this,] they provoked Him to anger with their inventions, & the plague [broke out] upon them. Then, Phinehas stood up, & [delivered] judgment, & so the plague was [stopped.] And that was [considered for Phinehas as] righteousness [for] all generations forever more. [Numbers 25:7-9 And when Phinehas, [Eleazar's] son, [who was:] the son of Aaron, the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, & took a javelin in his hand. And he went into the tent after the man [from] Israel, & thrust both of them through their belly, the man [from] Israel, & the woman. So, the plague was [stopped] from the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. And those [who] died in the plague were 24,000.] |
They also angered Him at the waters of strife, so that it went [poorly for] Moses for their sakes; because they provoked [Moses'] spirit, so that he [spoke impulsively] with his lips, [a.k.a. mouth.] |
[Numbers 20:10-12 And Moses & Aaron gathered the congregation together [in front of] the rock, & he said to them, Hear now, you rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, & he [struck] the rock twice with his rod, & the water came out abundantly, & the congregation, & their [animals] also drank. |
And the Lord [spoke] to Moses & Aaron, Because you [didn't believe] Me, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore, you shall not bring this congregation into the land [that] I have given them.] |
They didn't destroy the nations, [about] whom the Lord commanded them. [Judges 1:21 And the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Benjamin didn't drive out the Jebusites, [who] inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites [live] with the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.] |
But were [mixed] among the heathen, & learned their works. And they served their idols, which were a snare to them. [Yes,] they sacrificed their sons & their daughters to [demons,] & shed innocent blood, even the blood of their: sons & daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. |
And the land was polluted with [bloodshed.] They were defiled [like this] with their own works, & went [like] [unfaithful harlots] with their own inventions. |
[Isaiah 45:20 Assemble yourselves & come. Draw near together, you [who have] escaped [from] the nations. They have no knowledge, [who put] up the wood of their [carved] image, & pray to a god that cannot save.] |
Therefore, the [fury] of the Lord [grew] against His people, [in that] He [loathed] His Own inheritance. And He gave them into the hand of the heathen. [Judges 2:12-13 And they [abandoned] the Lord God of their [forefathers, Who] brought them out of the land of Egypt, & followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were [all around] them. And bowed themselves to them, & provoked the Lord to anger. And they [abandoned] the Lord, & served Baal & Ashtaroth.] |
And [those who] hated them, ruled over them. Also, their enemies oppressed them, & they were brought under [the control of] their hand. Many times, He [delivered] them; but they provoked Him with their [advice,] & were brought low for their [sins.] |
[Judges 2:16-17 [However,] the Lord raised up judges, [who] delivered them out of the hand of those who [plundered] them. And [still] they wouldn't [pay attention] to their judges, but went [like] [an unfaithful harlot] after other gods, & bowed themselves to them. They turned quickly [from] the [path that] their [forefathers] walked, [a.k.a. followed,] in, [who] [obeyed] the commandments of the Lord, but they didn't [do] so.] |
[Still,] when He heard their [out] cry, He [paid attention to] their affliction. [Judges 3:9 And when the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel cried [out] to the Lord, the Lord raised up a deliverer [for] the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel, [Kenaz's] son, Caleb's younger brother.] |
And He remembered His covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] for them, & [withdrew,] according to the multitude of His mercies. [Judges 2:18 And when the Lord raised up judges [for] them, then the Lord was with the judge, & delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For it [sorrowed] the Lord, because of their groanings, [because of those who] oppressed them, & [harassed] them.] |
He also made them to be pitied [by] all those [who] carried them [away as] captives. [2 Chronicles 30:9 For if you [return] again to the Lord, your brethren & your children shall find compassion before [those who] lead them [away] captive. So, that they shall come again into this land: for the Lord your God is gracious & merciful, & will not turn His face away from you, if you return to Him.] |
O Lord our God, Save us, & gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks to Your Holy Name, & to triumph in Your praise. [Philippians 2:5-11 Let [your] [minds within] you, also be [like that] in Christ Jesus, Who [is] in the [image] of God, & thought it not [a crime] to be equal with God. But made Himself of no reputation, [a.k.a. without status,] & was made in the likeness of men, & took upon [Himself] the [image] of a servant. And being found in [the image like] a man, He humbled Himself, & became obedient [until] death, even the death [on] the cross. *[For this reason,] God [has] also highly exalted Him, & [has] given Him a Name [that] is above every Name. That every knee should bow at the Name of Jesus, of things in heaven, & things [on] earth, & things under the earth. *And [so] that every tongue, [a.k.a. language,] should confess to the glory of God the Father, that Jesus Christ Is Lord.] |
Blessed [is] the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. And let all the people say, Amen. Praise you the Lord. |
And I heard, but [didn't understand.] Then, I said, O my Lord, What shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel: for the Words are closed up and sealed till the time of the End. Daniel 12:8-9 KJV

Psalm 105:1-45 Book# 4 of Psalms
Psalm 105:1-45 Book# 4 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
O Give thanks to the Lord; & call upon His Name. Make His deeds known among the people. [Psalm 33:6-8 By the Word of the Lord, the heavens were made, & all the [stars] of them, by the breath of His mouth. |
He [gathered] the waters of the sea together [like a] heap. He [lay] up the [deep] [waters] in storehouses. Let all the earth fear, [a.k.a. respect,] the Lord, & let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.] |
Sing unto Him, & sing psalms to Him. You talk, [a.k.a. speak,] of all His wondrous works. You, glory, [a.k.a. boast,] in His Holy Name; & let the [hearts] of [those who] seek the Lord rejoice. |
[Psalm 145:8-13 The Lord is gracious, & full of compassion; slow to anger, & [has] great mercy. The Lord is good to all. And His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O Lord; & Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your Kingdom, & talk of Your power, to make His mighty acts, & glorious majesty of His Kingdom, known to the sons of men. Your Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom, & Your dominion [endures] throughout all generations.] |
Seek the Lord, & His strength. Seek His face [for] evermore. Remember His [marvelous] works He [has] done, & His wonders, & the judgments of His mouth. |
O you seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] of Abraham, His servant & you children, [a.k.a. people,] of Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] His chosen. He is the Lord our God. His judgments are in all the earth. |
He [has] remembered His covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] forever. The Word [that] He commanded to 1,000 generations. [This] covenant He made with Abraham, & His oath to Isaac. [Galatians 3:16-18 Now, the promises were made to Abraham & his seed. He [didn't] say, And to the seeds, [like] of many, but as of One. |
And to your seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before [from] God, in Christ, the Law which was 430 years [later,] can't make the promise [void or ineffective.] For if the inheritance [is from] the Law, it is no [longer from] promise, but God gave it to Abraham by promise.] |
And [God] confirmed the same to Jacob for a Law, & to Israel for an everlasting covenant: saying, Unto you, I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance. |
[Genesis 12:1-3 Now, the Lord had said to Abram, [a.k.a. Abraham,] Get [yourself] out of your country, & from your [relatives,] & your father's house, [a.k.a. family,] unto a land that I will [show] to you. And I will make [from] you a great nation, & I will bless you, & make your name great. And you [shall] be a blessing. *And I will bless [those who] bless you, & curse him, [who curses] you. And all families of the earth shall be blessed in you.] |
When they were [just] a few men in number; [yes,] very few, & strangers in it. [Deuteronomy 7:7-9 The Lord didn't [put] His love upon you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any [other] people. |
For you [had] the fewest of all people: but because the Lord loved you, & because He would keep the oath [that] He had sworn to your [forefathers.] [Hasn't] the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, & redeemed you out of the house of bond men, [a.k.a. house of slavery,] from [under] the hand of Pharaoh, [Egypt's] king. |
Therefore, know that the Lord your God, He Is God, the faithful God, [Who keeps] covenant & mercy with [those who] love Him, & keep His commandments to a 1,000 generations.] |
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He [allowed] no man to do them wrong. [Yes,] He [reprimanded] kings, for their sakes, saying, [Don't] touch [My] anointed, & do no harm [to] My prophets. [Genesis 12:17 And the Lord plagued Pharaoh & his house with great plagues, because of Sarai, [a.k.a. Sarah,] Abraham's wife.] |
[Additionally,] He called for a famine upon the land, & He broke, [a.k.a. stopped,] the whole [supply] of bread. He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: whose feet they hurt with [shackle,s] & he was [chained] in iron; until the time that His Word came. The Word of the Lord [tested] him. |
[Genesis 41:25-27 And Joseph said to Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one. God [has shown] Pharaoh what He is about to do. The 7 good [cows] are 7 years; & the 7 good ears [of corn,] are 7 years. |
The dream is one. And the seven thin & [scrawny cows] that came up after them are 7 years. And the 7 empty ears blasted with the East wind, shall be 7 years of famine.] |
The king, even the ruler of the people, sent & loosened, [a.k.a. released,] him, & let him go free. [Pharaoh] made [Joseph] lord of [Pharaoh's] house, & ruler of all his [possessions,] to [have authority over] [Pharaoh's] princes, & to teach his senators, [a.k.a. elders,] wisdom. |
[Genesis 41:53-55 And the 7 [plentiful] years, that [were] in the land of Egypt, ended. And the 7 years of [famine came, like] Joseph had said; & the [famine] was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt, there was bread. |
And when all the land of Egypt was [starving,] the people cried [out] to Pharaoh for bread. And Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, Go to Joseph; & do what he [says] to you.] |
Israel, [a.k.a. Jacob,] also came into Egypt; & Jacob [stayed] in the land of Ham. And [the Lord God] greatly increased His people, & made them stronger than their enemies. He turned their heart to hate His people, & to deal with His servants [shrewdly.] |
[Exodus 1:12-14 But the more they afflicted [the Israelites,] the more they multiplied & grew. And [the Egyptians] were grieved, because of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. And the Egyptians made the children of Israel serve with [rigor;] & they made their lives bitter, with hard bondage, in mortar, brick, & all [types] of service in the field. All their service [which] they made them [do,] was with [rigor.] |
He sent Moses, His servant, & Aaron, whom He had chosen. They [declared] His signs among them, & wonders in the land of Ham. He sent darkness, & made it dark; & they [didn’t rebel] against His Word. He turned their waters into blood, & [killed] their fish. |
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, & in their [king's rooms.] He [spoke,] & there came [various] sorts of flies, & lice in all their coasts. He gave them hail for rain, & flaming fire in their land. He [struck] their vines, & also their fig trees, & [broke] the trees of their coasts. |
He [spoke,] & the locusts, & caterpillars came without number, & [ate] up all the [vegetation] in their land, & devoured the fruit, [a.k.a. produce,] of their ground. He also [struck] all the firstborn in their land, the [best] of all their strength. |
He also brought them [out] with silver & gold; & there wasn't [anyone] [who were] feeble [people] among their tribes. Egypt was glad when they [left:] for the fear of them fell upon [the Egyptians.] [Exodus 12:35-36 And the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, did according to the Word of Moses; & they borrowed: jewels of silver, & jewels of gold, & [clothing from] the Egyptians. And the Lord gave the people [favor] in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent to [the Israelites,] such things as they [needed.] And they [plundered] the Egyptians.] |
He spread a cloud for a covering; & fire to give light in the night. [Exodus 13:20-22 And they took their journey from Succoth, & [camped] in Etham, [at] the edge of the wilderness. And the Lord went [out] [in front of] them, to lead them [on] the way; by a pillar of fire [at] night, to give them light, to go by day, & night. He [didn't take] away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire [at] night, from [in front of] the people.] |
The people asked, & He brought quails, & satisfied them with the bread of heaven, [a.k.a. manna.] He opened the rock, & the waters gushed out; & they ran in the dry places like a river. For He remembered His holy promise, & Abraham, His servant. And He brought [out] His people with joy, & His chosen with gladness; & gave them the lands of the heathen, & they inherited the [labor] of the people. |
[Genesis 15:18-21 [On] the same day, the Lord made a covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with Abram, [a.k.a. Abraham,] saying, I have given this land, to your seed, [a.k.a. descendants,] from the [Brook] of Egypt [all the way] to the great Euphrates River: the [land of the:] Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, & the Hittites, the Perizzites, & the Rephaims, & the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, & the Jebusites.] |
[So,] that they might observe His [mandates,] & keep His Laws. Praise, you the Lord. |

Psalm 104:1-35 Book# 4 of Psalms
Psalm 104:1-35 Book# 4 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, You [are] very great. You [are] clothed with [honor] & majesty. Who [covered] Yourself with Light [like] with a garment. |
[John 1:9-12 That was the True Light, [Who enlightens] every man, [Who comes] into the world. He was in the world, & the world was made by Him, & the world [didn't] know Him. |
*He came unto His own, & His own [didn't receive] Him. But as many as received Him, He gave power to them to become the sons of God, even to [those who] believe [in] His Name.] |
Who [stretched] out the heavens like a curtain. [Genesis 1:6-8 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, & let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, & divided the waters [that] were under the firmament from the waters [that] were above the firmament; & it was so. And God called the firmament, Heaven. And the evening & the morning were the 2nd day.] |
Who [lays] the beams of His [rooms] in the waters. Who [makes] the clouds His chariot. Who [walks] upon the wings of the wind. [Amos 9:6 It is He, [Who builds] His [stairs to the different] stories in heaven, & [has established] His troop [of followers on] the earth. He, [Who calls] for the waters of the sea, & [pours] them out upon the [surface] of the earth. The Lord is His Name.] |
Who [makes] His Angels, Spirits: & His ministers, a flaming fire. [Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven [like] of a rushing, mighty wind. And it filled all the house where they were sitting. |
And there appeared to them cloven tongues like as of fire, & it sat upon, [a.k.a. over,] each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & began to speak with other tongues, [a.k.a. languages,] as the [Holy] Spirit gave them utterance.] |
Who laid the foundations of the earth, [so] that it should not be removed forever. You [covered] it with the deep, [like] with a garment. The waters stood above the mountains. |
[Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, & let the dry land appear: & it was so. And God called the dry land, Earth; & the gathering together of the waters, He called Seas; & God saw that it was good.] |
At Your [scolding] [the waters] fled, & at the [sound] of Your thunder, they [hurried] away. They go up by the mountains, & they go down by the valleys [into] the place [that] You [have created] for them. You [have put] a [boundary, so] that they may not pass over, [so] that they [don't return] again to cover the earth. |
[Genesis 9:11-13 And I will establish My covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with You. Neither shall all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood, & neither shall there be a flood any more to destroy the earth. |
And God said, This is the [sign] of the covenant, which I make between Me, & you ,& every living creature that is with you, for [future] generations. I do [put] My [rainbow] in the cloud, & it shall be for a [sign] of a covenant between Me, & the earth.] |
He [sends] the springs, [a.k.a. rivers,] into the valleys, which run among the hills. They give drink to every [animal] of the field, & the wild [donkeys] quench their thirst. By [these rivers,] the [birds] of the heaven, which sing among the branches, have their habitation. |
He [waters] the hills from His [rooms,] & the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He [causes] the grass to grow for the cattle, & [the] herb for the service of man, [so] that he may bring forth food out of the earth. |
And wine that [makes] the heart of man glad, & oil to make his face shine, & bread [that strengthens] a man's heart. The trees of the Lord are full of sap. He [has] planted the cedars of Lebanon, where the birds make their nests. As for the stork, the fir trees are her house. |
The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats & the rocks [are a refuge] for the [rock badgers.] He appointed the moon for seasons, & the sun [knows its] going down. [Genesis 1:14-17 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. And let them be for: signs, seasons, days, & years. And let them be for light in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth; & it was so. And God made 2 great, [a.k.a. large,] lights; the [larger] light to rule the day, & the [smaller] light to rule the night. He also made the stars. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.] |
You make darkness, & it is night, [in which] all the [animals] of the forest creep [out.] The young lions roar after their prey, & they seek their meat from God. The sun [arises,] & they gather themselves together, & lay [themselves] down in their dens. |
Man [goes out] to his work, [for him] to [labor] until the evening. O Lord, how [many] Your works are! You [have] made them all in wisdom. The earth is full of Your riches. So, is this [immense] & wide sea, [in which] are: [numerous] creeping things, both small & [large creatures.] |
[Psalm 40:5 O Lord my God, many are Your wonderful works, which You [have] done, & Your thoughts which are [toward] us, they can't be [calculated] up in order [to give credit] to You. If I would speak of them & declare [them,] they are more than can be [counted.] |
The ships go there, [where] Leviathan is, whom You [have] made to play [in there.] [Job 41:1-2 [Can] you draw, [a.k.a. pull,] out Leviathan with a hook? Or his tongue with a cord [that] you [let] down? [Can] you put a hook into his nose? Or bore through his jaw with a thorn?] |
All these wait upon You, [so] that You [may] give them their meat, [a.k.a. food,] in due season. They gather [what] You [give] them. You [open] Your hand, & they are filled with good [things.] [Psalm 136:25-26 Who [gives] food to all flesh, for His mercy [endures] forever. O give thanks to the God of heaven, for His mercy [endures] forever.] |
You [hide] Your face, & they are troubled. [Isaiah 54:7-8 For a [little] moment, I have [abandoned] you. But I will gather you with great mercies. I hid My face from you for a moment, in a little [anger,] but I will have mercy on you, with everlasting kindness, [says] the Lord your Redeemer.] |
You [take] away their breath, & they die, & they return to their dust, [a.k.a. dirt.] Ecclesiastes 3:19-20 For [what befalls, a.k.a. happens,] [to] the sons of men, [happens] [to the] [animals.] Even one thing [happens,] [to] them. [Like] the one [dies, also] the other [dies.] [Yes,] they all have one, [a.k.a. the same,] breath; so that man [has] no [advantage over an animal;] for all is vanity. All go to one place, & all are [made from] the dust, & all [return] to dust again.] |
You [sent out] Your [Holy] Spirit, & they are created. [Genesis 1:224-27 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living [creatures,] after [its] kind: cattle, & creeping [things,] & [animals,] of the earth after [its] kind, & it was so. And God made the [animals] of the earth, after [its] kind, & cattle, [a.k.a. livestock,] after [its] kind, & everything that [creeps] upon the earth, after [its] kind. And God saw that it was good. And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion, [a.k.a. authority,] over the fish of the sea, over the [birds] of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, & over every creeping thing that [creeps] upon the earth. So, God created man in His Own image. In the image of God, He created him. He created them: male & female.] |
And You renew the [surface] of the earth. [Isaiah 41:17-20 When the poor & needy seek water, & there is none, & their tongue [fails] for thirst, I, the Lord, will hear them. I, the God of Israel, won't [abandon] them. I will open rivers in high places, & fountains in the [middle] of valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, & the dry lands, springs of water. I will plant the: cedar, [acacia,] myrle, & oil, [a.k.a. olive,] tree in the wilderness. I will [put] the: fir, [a.k.a. cypress,] pine, & box tree together in the desert. [So] that they together may: see, know, consider, & understand, that the hand of the Lord [has] done this, & the Holy One of Israel [has] created it.] |
The glory of the Lord shall endure forever. The Lord shall rejoice in His works. [Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that He had made, & [saw that] it was very good. And the evening, & the morning were the 6th day.] |
He [looks upon] the earth, & it [trembles.] He [touches] the hills, & they smoke. [Exodus 19:16-18 And it [happened] on the 3rd day in the morning, that there were thunders & lightnings, & a thick cloud upon the mount, & the [sound] of [an exceedingly] loud trumpet; so that all the people [who were] in the camp trembled. |
And Moses brought [forward] the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the [lower] part of the mount. And Mount Sinai was [totally smoking,] because the Lord [went down] upon it in fire, & [its] smoke [went up like] the smoke of a furnace, & the whole mount greatly quaked.] |
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God, while [I'm alive.] My [thoughts] of Him shall be sweet. I will be glad in the Lord. |
Let the sinners be [destroyed] out of the earth, & let the wicked no [longer exist.] [Psalm 37:38-39 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together. The end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the Lord is the Salvation of the righteous. He is their strength in times of trouble.] |
You, bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise you the Lord. |
