Psalm 104:1-35 Book# 4 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks] |
Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, You [are] very great. You [are] clothed with [honor] & majesty. Who [covered] Yourself with Light [like] with a garment. |
[John 1:9-12 That was the True Light, [Who enlightens] every man, [Who comes] into the world. He was in the world, & the world was made by Him, & the world [didn't] know Him. |
*He came unto His own, & His own [didn't receive] Him. But as many as received Him, He gave power to them to become the sons of God, even to [those who] believe [in] His Name.] |
Who [stretched] out the heavens like a curtain. [Genesis 1:6-8 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, & let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, & divided the waters [that] were under the firmament from the waters [that] were above the firmament; & it was so. And God called the firmament, Heaven. And the evening & the morning were the 2nd day.] |
Who [lays] the beams of His [rooms] in the waters. Who [makes] the clouds His chariot. Who [walks] upon the wings of the wind. [Amos 9:6 It is He, [Who builds] His [stairs to the different] stories in heaven, & [has established] His troop [of followers on] the earth. He, [Who calls] for the waters of the sea, & [pours] them out upon the [surface] of the earth. The Lord is His Name.] |
Who [makes] His Angels, Spirits: & His ministers, a flaming fire. [Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven [like] of a rushing, mighty wind. And it filled all the house where they were sitting. |
And there appeared to them cloven tongues like as of fire, & it sat upon, [a.k.a. over,] each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & began to speak with other tongues, [a.k.a. languages,] as the [Holy] Spirit gave them utterance.] |
Who laid the foundations of the earth, [so] that it should not be removed forever. You [covered] it with the deep, [like] with a garment. The waters stood above the mountains. |
[Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, & let the dry land appear: & it was so. And God called the dry land, Earth; & the gathering together of the waters, He called Seas; & God saw that it was good.] |
At Your [scolding] [the waters] fled, & at the [sound] of Your thunder, they [hurried] away. They go up by the mountains, & they go down by the valleys [into] the place [that] You [have created] for them. You [have put] a [boundary, so] that they may not pass over, [so] that they [don't return] again to cover the earth. |
[Genesis 9:11-13 And I will establish My covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] with You. Neither shall all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood, & neither shall there be a flood any more to destroy the earth. |
And God said, This is the [sign] of the covenant, which I make between Me, & you ,& every living creature that is with you, for [future] generations. I do [put] My [rainbow] in the cloud, & it shall be for a [sign] of a covenant between Me, & the earth.] |
He [sends] the springs, [a.k.a. rivers,] into the valleys, which run among the hills. They give drink to every [animal] of the field, & the wild [donkeys] quench their thirst. By [these rivers,] the [birds] of the heaven, which sing among the branches, have their habitation. |
He [waters] the hills from His [rooms,] & the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He [causes] the grass to grow for the cattle, & [the] herb for the service of man, [so] that he may bring forth food out of the earth. |
And wine that [makes] the heart of man glad, & oil to make his face shine, & bread [that strengthens] a man's heart. The trees of the Lord are full of sap. He [has] planted the cedars of Lebanon, where the birds make their nests. As for the stork, the fir trees are her house. |
The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats & the rocks [are a refuge] for the [rock badgers.] He appointed the moon for seasons, & the sun [knows its] going down. [Genesis 1:14-17 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night. And let them be for: signs, seasons, days, & years. And let them be for light in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth; & it was so. And God made 2 great, [a.k.a. large,] lights; the [larger] light to rule the day, & the [smaller] light to rule the night. He also made the stars. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.] |
You make darkness, & it is night, [in which] all the [animals] of the forest creep [out.] The young lions roar after their prey, & they seek their meat from God. The sun [arises,] & they gather themselves together, & lay [themselves] down in their dens. |
Man [goes out] to his work, [for him] to [labor] until the evening. O Lord, how [many] Your works are! You [have] made them all in wisdom. The earth is full of Your riches. So, is this [immense] & wide sea, [in which] are: [numerous] creeping things, both small & [large creatures.] |
[Psalm 40:5 O Lord my God, many are Your wonderful works, which You [have] done, & Your thoughts which are [toward] us, they can't be [calculated] up in order [to give credit] to You. If I would speak of them & declare [them,] they are more than can be [counted.] |
The ships go there, [where] Leviathan is, whom You [have] made to play [in there.] [Job 41:1-2 [Can] you draw, [a.k.a. pull,] out Leviathan with a hook? Or his tongue with a cord [that] you [let] down? [Can] you put a hook into his nose? Or bore through his jaw with a thorn?] |
All these wait upon You, [so] that You [may] give them their meat, [a.k.a. food,] in due season. They gather [what] You [give] them. You [open] Your hand, & they are filled with good [things.] [Psalm 136:25-26 Who [gives] food to all flesh, for His mercy [endures] forever. O give thanks to the God of heaven, for His mercy [endures] forever.] |
You [hide] Your face, & they are troubled. [Isaiah 54:7-8 For a [little] moment, I have [abandoned] you. But I will gather you with great mercies. I hid My face from you for a moment, in a little [anger,] but I will have mercy on you, with everlasting kindness, [says] the Lord your Redeemer.] |
You [take] away their breath, & they die, & they return to their dust, [a.k.a. dirt.] Ecclesiastes 3:19-20 For [what befalls, a.k.a. happens,] [to] the sons of men, [happens] [to the] [animals.] Even one thing [happens,] [to] them. [Like] the one [dies, also] the other [dies.] [Yes,] they all have one, [a.k.a. the same,] breath; so that man [has] no [advantage over an animal;] for all is vanity. All go to one place, & all are [made from] the dust, & all [return] to dust again.] |
You [sent out] Your [Holy] Spirit, & they are created. [Genesis 1:224-27 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living [creatures,] after [its] kind: cattle, & creeping [things,] & [animals,] of the earth after [its] kind, & it was so. And God made the [animals] of the earth, after [its] kind, & cattle, [a.k.a. livestock,] after [its] kind, & everything that [creeps] upon the earth, after [its] kind. And God saw that it was good. And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion, [a.k.a. authority,] over the fish of the sea, over the [birds] of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, & over every creeping thing that [creeps] upon the earth. So, God created man in His Own image. In the image of God, He created him. He created them: male & female.] |
And You renew the [surface] of the earth. [Isaiah 41:17-20 When the poor & needy seek water, & there is none, & their tongue [fails] for thirst, I, the Lord, will hear them. I, the God of Israel, won't [abandon] them. I will open rivers in high places, & fountains in the [middle] of valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, & the dry lands, springs of water. I will plant the: cedar, [acacia,] myrle, & oil, [a.k.a. olive,] tree in the wilderness. I will [put] the: fir, [a.k.a. cypress,] pine, & box tree together in the desert. [So] that they together may: see, know, consider, & understand, that the hand of the Lord [has] done this, & the Holy One of Israel [has] created it.] |
The glory of the Lord shall endure forever. The Lord shall rejoice in His works. [Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that He had made, & [saw that] it was very good. And the evening, & the morning were the 6th day.] |
He [looks upon] the earth, & it [trembles.] He [touches] the hills, & they smoke. [Exodus 19:16-18 And it [happened] on the 3rd day in the morning, that there were thunders & lightnings, & a thick cloud upon the mount, & the [sound] of [an exceedingly] loud trumpet; so that all the people [who were] in the camp trembled. |
And Moses brought [forward] the people out of the camp to meet with God. And they stood at the [lower] part of the mount. And Mount Sinai was [totally smoking,] because the Lord [went down] upon it in fire, & [its] smoke [went up like] the smoke of a furnace, & the whole mount greatly quaked.] |
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God, while [I'm alive.] My [thoughts] of Him shall be sweet. I will be glad in the Lord. |
Let the sinners be [destroyed] out of the earth, & let the wicked no [longer exist.] [Psalm 37:38-39 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together. The end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the Lord is the Salvation of the righteous. He is their strength in times of trouble.] |
You, bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise you the Lord. |
And I heard, but [didn't understand.] Then, I said, O my Lord, What shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel: for the Words are closed up and sealed till the time of the End. Daniel 12:8-9 KJV
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::
About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:
Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible.
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV.
Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning.
For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.
The Table Format:
The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.
