About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Genesis 3:1-24 Man is Tempted & Consequences of Sin

Man is Tempted & Consequences of Sin

Genesis 3:1-24              The First Book of Moses Called Genesis

The serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field that the Lord God had made. [Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil & Satan, [who] deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth & his angels were cast out with him.] The [serpent asked] the woman, Has God told you that you can’t eat of every tree of the garden? She replied that they could eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, [except for] the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, or touch it, lest you die.

Then the serpent said to her, You surely wouldn’t die, for God knows that the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened & you will be [like God], knowing good & evil. When the woman saw that the tree was pleasant to the eyes & good for food & [desirable] to make one wise, she took the fruit & did eat & gave it also to her husband & he did eat of it.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened & they knew they were naked & sewed fig leaves together to make themselves aprons. Adam & his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God when they heard Him walking in the garden in the cool of the day among the trees in the garden. The Lord God called to Adam, Where are you? [Adam answered] When I heard Your voice I was afraid & hid myself, because I was naked. [God asked], Who told you that you were naked?

Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from? The man said, The woman [You] had given to be with me, gave me  [the fruit of] the tree & I did eat [it.] When God asked the woman, What is this you have done? The woman said, The serpent deceived me & I did eat [of it].

The Lord God said to the serpent: Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle & every beast of the field & you shall go on upon your belly & shall eat dust all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you & the woman & between your seed & *her Seed. He shall bruise your head & you shall bruise His heel. [Acts 26:17-18 Delivering you from the people & from the Gentiles, unto whom I now send you. To open their eyes & to turn them from darkness to Light & from the power of Satan to God, [so] that they may receive forgiveness of sins & inheritance among [those who] are sanctified by faith that is in Me.]

God said to the woman, I will greatly multiply your sorrow & your conception; in [pain] you shall bring forth children & your desire shall be for your husband & he shall rule over you. The Lord God said to Adam, Because you [listened] to the voice of your wife & have eaten from the tree I commanded you not to eat from it, cursed is the ground for your sake & in sorrow you shall eat of it all the days of your life. It shall bring forth both thorns & thistles & you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread [until] you return to the ground for out of it you were taken. For dust you are & to dust you shall return.

Because she was the mother of all living, Adam called his wife’s name, Eve. The Lord God made tunics of skin & clothed Adam & his wife. The Lord God said, Behold, man has become like one of Us, to know good & evil. Now, lest he take also [from] the tree of life & eat & live forever: therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. When He drove out man, the Lord God placed [angels] at the east of the garden of Eden & a flaming sword which turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.

Genesis 2:1-25 More Details of the Creation of Heaven & Earth, Man & Animals

More Details of the Creation of Heaven & Earth, Man & Animals

Genesis 2:1-25                     The First Book of Moses Called Genesis

Thus the heavens & the earth & all the host of them, were finished. On the 7th day God ended His work which He had made & He rested on the 7th day from all His work [that] He had made. And God blessed the 7th day & sanctified it, because in it, He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

These are the generations of the heavens & earth when they were created in the day that the Lord God made the heavens & the earth. Before [any] plant of the field was in the earth or [any] herb of the field [had grown:] for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth & there was no man to [plow] the ground. But a mist went up from the earth & watered the whole [surface] of the ground. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground & breathed into his nostrils the breath of life & man became a living soul.

The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden & put the man He had formed there. Out of the ground, the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight & good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden & the tree of knowledge of good & evil. A river went out of Eden to water the garden & from there it parted & became 4 [riverheads:] 1st: Pison which [goes around] the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. There is bdellium & onyx stone there. The 2nd river is Gihon, [which goes around] the whole land of Ethiopia. And the 3rd river is Hiddekel, which goes toward the east of Assyria. The 4th is the Euphrates River.

[Then] the Lord God took the man & put him into the garden of Eden to [tend it] & keep it. The Lord God commanded man saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but you shall not eat of the tree of knowledge of good & evil: for in the day that you eat [of it,] you shall surely die. The Lord God said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a [helper] for him. The Lord God formed out of the ground every beast of the field & every [bird] of the air & brought them to Adam to see what he would call them & [whatever] he called each living creature, [became] its name. Adam gave names to all the cattle [a.k.a. animals,] [birds] of the air & to every beast of the field, but there wasn’t a [helper] found for Adam.

The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam & [as] he slept, the [Lord God] took one of [Adam’s] ribs & closed up the flesh. The Lord God made woman from the rib He had taken from man & [He] brought her to the man. Adam said, This is now bone of my bones & flesh of my flesh. She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore a man shall leave his father & mother & shall [be joined] to his wife & they shall become one flesh. They were both naked, the man & his wife & were not ashamed.

Genesis 1:1-31 Creation in Six Days

Creation in Six Days

Genesis 1:1-31

In the beginning God created the heavens & earth. The earth was without form & void & darkness was on the face of the deep. The Spirit of God was moved over the face of the waters. [Then] God said, Let there be light, & there was light. And God saw the light & that it was good & God divided the light from the darkness & called the light Day & called the darkness Night. And the evening & the morning were the 1st day.

[Then] God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters & let it divide the waters from the waters & God made the firmament  & divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament & it was so. And God called the firmament [He made] Heaven. And the evening & the morning were the 2nd day.

[Then] God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place & let the dry land appear & it was so. And God called the dry land Earth & He called the gathering together of the waters Seas & God saw that it was good. [Then] God said, Let the earth bring forth grass & herbs yielding seed after [its] kind & the fruit tree yielding fruit after [its] kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth & it was so. God saw it was good. The evening & the morning were the 3rd day. And the earth brought forth grass & herb yielding seeds after [its] kind & tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after [its] kind. And God saw that it was good. And the evening & the morning were the 3rd day.

[Then] God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night & let them be for signs & seasons & for days & years. Let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth & it was so. [Then,] God made 2 great lights; the [larger] light to rule the day & the [smaller] light to rule the night & He also made the stars. And God set [the stars] in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon earth. And to rule over the day & the night & to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good & the evening & the morning were the 4th day.

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving [creatures] that have life & the [birds] that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. God created [large] whales & every living thing that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind & every winged [bird according to their] kind & God saw that it was good. God blessed them saying, Be fruitful & multiply & fill the waters in the seas & let the [birds] multiply on the earth & the evening & the morning were the 5th day.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after [its] kind: cattle, creeping [things & beasts] of the earth, after [its] kind, & it was so. God made the beast of the earth after [its] kind & cattle after their kind & every thing that [creeps] upon the earth after [its] kind & God saw that it was good. God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness & let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the [birds] of the air, over the cattle & over all the earth & over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So, God created man in His own image & in the image of God, He created him: male & female [God] created them. And God blessed them & said to them, Be fruitful & multiply & replenish the earth & subdue it & have dominion over the fish of the sea, the [birds] of the air & over every living thing that moves on the earth. God said, [Look,] I have given you every herb  bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth & every tree, in which the fruit of the tree [yields] seed. It shall be for [food] for you. Also, I have given every green herb for [food], to every beast of the earth, to every [bird] of the air & to everything that creeps on the earth, [in which] there is life & it was so. [Then,] God saw everything that He had made & [saw that] it was very good & the evening & the morning were the 6th day.

The Genealogy of Esau’s Sons

Genesis  36:1-43               The First Book of Moses Called Genesis

Now [this is] the [genealogy] of Esau, who is Edom. Esau took his wives [from] the daughters of Canaan: Adah, the daughter of Elon, the Hittite; Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah, [who was] the [grand-daughter] of Zibeon, the Hivite & Bashemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

And Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau & Basemath bore Reuel. And Aholibamah bore Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah. These were the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaan.

The land where they were strangers couldn’t support them because of their [livestock]. [So,] Esau dwelt in Mount Seir. Esau is Edom & [this] is the generations of [his genealogy] of Esau, the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir.

These were the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, [the firstborn son of Esau,] the son of Adah, the wife of Esau.  Reuel, the son of Bashemath, the wife of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz [whose mother was Adah, Esua’s wife:] Teman, Omar, Zepho [a.k.a. Zephi], Gatam & Kenaz.

These are the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Ana, Esau’s wife: [dukes:] Jeush, Jaalam & Korah. These are the dukes that [descended from] Aholibamah. These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom & these are their dukes.

These were the sons of Seir, the Horite who inhabited the land, [dukes:] Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer & Dishan. These are the dukes of the Horites, the [descendants] of Seir in the land of Edom.

Genesis 27:1-41 Isaac’s Blessings as He Nears Death

Isaac’s Blessings as He Nears Death

Genesis  27:1-41               The First Book of Moses Called Genesis

When Isaac was old, his eyes were [so] dim, it [happened] that he couldn’t see & he called his eldest son, Esau, & [told] him, My son, & [Esau] said, Here I am. And [Isaac] said, [See,] I am old & I [don’t] know when my death. Therefore, I now pray [that] you take your weapons & quiver & go out to the field & [hunt] some venison & make me savory meat, [like] I love & bring it to me, [so] that I may eat [it] & that my soul shall bless you, before I die.

And Rebekah [spoke] to her son, Jacob, saying, [See,] I hear your father speak to Esau, your brother, saying,  Bring me venison & make me me savory meat , [so] that I may eat [it] & bless you [in front of] the Lord, before my death. Therefore, go now my son & obey my voice according to [what] I command you. Go now to the flock & get me 2 good [kid goats from there] & I will make them savory meat for your father, [just like] he loves. And you shall bring it to your father, [so] that he may bless you before his death.

And Jacob said to Rebekah, his mother, [Look, Esau, my brother, is a hairy man & [I'm not.] [Perhaps, my father will feel me & I will seem to him [like I'm deceitful] & I shall bring a curse upon me & not a blessing. His mother said to [Jacob,] Let your curse be on me, my son. Only obey my voice & go & get them [for] me. [After Jacob brought] them to his mother, she made the savory meat, such as his father loved.

Rebekah took the [best clothing] of her eldest son, Esau, [that] were in the house with her & put them on Jacob, her younger son, [along with the skin] of the [kid] goats on [Jacob’s] hands & the smooth [part] of his neck. She gave the savory meat & the bread she had prepared, into the hand of her son, Jacob.

And [Jacob] came to his father & said, My father: and [his father [asked,] Here I am, who are you, my son? And Jacob said, I am Esau, your firstborn. I have done according [to what] you [bid] me [to do.] I pray [that] you, sit [up] & eat of my venison, [so] that your soul may bless me. Isaac [asked him,] How did you find it so quickly, my son? [Jacob] said, Because the Lord your God brought it to me.

Isaac said to Jacob, Come near, I pray [that] I may feel you, [to see if] you are [really] my son, Esau, or not. Jacob went near to his father, [who] felt him & said, The voice is Jacob’s, but the hands are the hands of Esau. [Isaac didn’t recognize] him, because his hands were hairy [like] Esau’s hands, so [Isaac] blessed [Jacob]. Then, [Isaac asked him,] Are you [really] my son, Esau? [Jacob] said, I am.

[Isaac asked him,] Bring it near me & I will eat of my son's venison, [so  that my soul may bless you. his savory venison to him to eat, [so] that my soul may bless you. [Jacob came near] & brought him [the food] & he [ate it.] And [Jacob] brought him the wine to drink & [Isaac] drank [it.] Isaac said to him, Come near, now & kiss me, my son. [Jacob] came near & kissed him & [Isaac] could smell [Esau’s scent on[ his [clothing] & blessed him & said, See, of the scent of my son is [like] the [scent] of a field, which the Lord had blessed.

Therefore, [may] God give you of the dew of heaven & the fatness of the earth & plenty of corn & wine. Let people & nations serve you & bow down to you. Be [master] over your brethren & let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you & blessed be everyone who blesses you!

It [happened,] as soon as Isaac [finished] blessing Jacob & Jacob [was barely] was gone from the presence of Isaac, his father, [that] Esau, his brother, came in from hunting & made savory meat & brought it to his father & said, Let my father arise & eat of his son’s venison, [so] that your soul may bless me.  When Isaac, his father, asked, Who are you? He replied, I am your firstborn son, Esau.

Isaac [was trembling] & asked, Who? Where is he [who] had taken venison & brought it to me & I [ate it] all & blessed him before you came? [Yet,] he shall be blessed. Esau cried [bitterly] when he heard his father’s words & [begged] his father, Bless me, also, O my father. [Isaac] said, Your brother came with [deceitfully] & has taken away your blessing. [Esau] said, Isn't he rightly named Jacob, because he has taken away both my birthright & [now] he has taken away my blessing!

[Esau asked] his father, [Don't] you have reserved a blessing for me? Isaac said to Esau, [Look,] I have [already] made Isaac your master & have given all his brethren to him as servants & [blessed] him with corn & wine to sustain him. What shall I do now [for] you, my son? Esau [asked Isaac,] Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me, also, O my father & Esau lifted up his voice & wept.

Isaac answered & said to Esau,  Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth & dew from the heaven above. You shall live by your sword & you shall serve your brother. It shall come to pass when you have dominion, that you will break [Jacob’s] yoke from off your neck. Esau hated Jacob for the blessing his father [had given] him.]

[Esau planned] in his heart, I will [kill] Jacob, my brother, when the days of mourning for my father, Isaac, were at hand. Rebekah was told these words of [Esau’s plan] & called for Jacob, her younger son & [told him, Look,] your  brother, Esau, [is comforting] himself [by planning] to kill you. Therefore, now, my son, obey my voice & arise & flee to Laban, my brother, in Haran & [stay] with him a few days until [Esau’s] fury turns away & he forgets what you have done to him.

Then I will send [for] you from [there.] Why should I be deprived of both [of] you in one day? Rebekah [told] Isaac, I am [worried to death], because of the daughters of Heth [Esau married] & if Jacob [selects] a wife from the daughters of Heth, [like] these, which are the daughters of the land, what good would my life [be] to me?
