About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah 32:1-20 Mourning the Good Times of the Past

Mourning the Good Times of the Past

Isaiah 32:1-20                              The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Look,] a king shall [rule with] righteousness & princes shall rule [with justice.] And a man shall be [like] a hiding place, [a.k.a. a refuge,] from the wind & a [shelter] from the [mighty storms, like] rivers of water in a dry place & [like] the [shade] of a [large] rock, in a weary land.

And the eyes of [those, who] see, shall not be dim. And the ears of [those, who] hear, shall [listen.] Also, the heart of the [impulsive,] shall understand knowledge. And the tongue of stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

The [disgusting] person shall no [longer] be called [open minded,] nor the [miser be] said to be [generous.] For the [disgusting] will speak [what is evil] & his heart will work [sinfully,] to practice hypocrisy & to [totally lead astray] [others] against the Lord, to make the soul of the hungry, empty & he will cause the [water to] drink of the thirsty, to fail.

The [schemes] of the [miser] are also evil. He devises wicked [plots] to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speak [what is] right. But the [open minded] devise [nobel] things & by [generous] things, he shall stand.

Rise up you women, [who] are at ease & hear My voice, you careless daughters. [Lend] your ear to My [words I speak.] You shall be troubled many days & years, you carless women: for the [crop of grapes] shall fail & the [harvest] gathering shall not [happen.]

Tremble you women, [who] are at ease. Be troubled, you careless ones. Strip [yourselves] & make [yourselves] bare & [clothe] your [waist] with sackcloth. They shall mourn for the pleasant fields & for the fruitful vine & shall [strike their chest.]

[Luke 18:13 And the publican, [a.k.a. tax collector,] standing [far away,] wouldn't so much as lift up his eyes to heaven, but [struck] upon his [chest,] saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner.]

Upon the land of My people, thorns & [sticker bushes] shall come up. [Yes,] upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city. [Isaiah 5:6-7 And I will lay it [to] waste. It shall not be pruned, nor [dug in,] but [sticker patches] & thorns shall come up there.

I will also command the clouds, [so] that they [don't] rain upon it. For the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts, is the house of Israel & the men of Judah, [are] His pleasant plant. And He looked for [justice,] but [saw] oppression & [looked] for righteousness, but [witnessed an outcry.]

The multitude of the city shall be left, because the palaces are [abandoned.] The forts & towers shall be for dens forever, a joy of wild [donkeys] & a pasture of flocks, until the Spirit [is] poured upon us from on high & the wilderness [becomes] a fruitful field & the fruitful field [is considered as] a forest.

Then, [justice] shall dwell in the wilderness & righteousness [shall] remain in the fruitful field. And the work of [righteous,] shall be [peaceful] & quietness & assurance forever [is the outcome] of righteousness.

And when it shall hail, coming down [in] the forest & the city shall be in a low [valley,] My people shall dwell in [secure] dwellings & in [peaceful] resting places. Blessed are you, [who] sow [seeds] beside all waters & send out the feet of the ox & the [mule there.]

Isaiah 31:1-9 Distress for Those Who Go to Egypt for Help

Distress for Those Who Go to Egypt for Help

Isaiah 31:1-9                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Distress for those, who] go down to Egypt for help & [rely] on horses & trust in chariots & horsemen, because they are many & are very strong. But they [don't] look to the Holy one of Israel & neither [do they] seek the Lord!

[Isaiah 8:18-19 *[Look,] the children & I, whom the Lord has given me are for signs & for wonders in Israel, from the Lord of Hosts, [Who] dwells in Mount Zion. And when they shall say to you, Seek to [those who] have familiar spirits, [a.k.a. speaking with the dead] & to wizards that peep & [whisper,] shouldn’t a people seek to their God? For the Living, [not] to the dead?]

He is yet also wise & will bring [disaster] & won't [withdraw] His Words: but will arise against the house of the [those who do evil] & against the help of [those, who] work [sinfully.] [Jeremiah 4:2-5 And you shall swear, the Lord lives in: Truth, [Justice] & in Righteousness.

And the nations shall bless themselves in Him & they shall [boast] in Him. For the Lord says [this] to the men of Judah & Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground & don't sow [seeds] among thorns.

Circumcise yourselves to the Lord & take away the foreskins [covering] your heart, you men of Judah & [residents] of Jerusalem: lest My fury [comes out] like fire & [burns, so] that none can [put it out,] because of the evil of your [actions.]

You in Judah declare & [proclaim it] in Jerusalem & say, You, [who] blow the trumpet in the land: cry [out] & gather together & say, Assemble yourselves & let us go into the [fortified] cities.]

Now, the Egyptians are [only] men & not God. And their horses are flesh & not Spirit. When the Lord shall stretch out His hand, both he, [who] helps shall fall & he, [who] is [helped] shall fall together.

For the Lord has spoken [this] to me, Like the lion & young lion roaring [over] his prey, when a multitude of shepherds [are] called [out] against [the lion,] he won't be afraid of their voice, nor [humble] himself for the [sound] of them. So, shall the Lord of Hosts come down to fight for Mount Zion & for the hill [of it.]

[Like] flying birds, so will the Lord of Hosts [swoop down to] defend Jerusalem & [in] defending, He will also deliver it & passing over, He will [safeguard] it. You, children [people] of Israel, [who] have deeply revolted, [return] to Him. For [on] that day, every man shall [throw] away his idols of silver & idols of gold, [that] your own hands have made [for yourselves] for a sin.

Then, shall the Assyrian [be struck down by] the sword, not [by] a mean [or] mighty man & shall [defeat] him: but he shall flee from the sword & his young men shall be [ashamed.]

[2 Kings 19:34-35 For I will defend this city, to save it for [My] Own sake & for My servant, David's sake. And it [happened,] that night, that the Angel of the Lord went out & [struck] the camp of 185,000 Assyrians. And when [the Israelites] arose early in the morning, [saw,] they were all dead corpses.]

The Lord, Whose fire is in Zion & His furnace in Jerusalem says, And he shall pass over to his [fortified] city for fear & his princes shall be afraid of the [banner.] [Isaiah 37:37-38 So king Sennacherib of Assyria departed, went & returned & dwelt in Nineveh.

And it [happened,] as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch, his god, that Adrammelech & Sharezer, his sons, [struck] him with the sword & they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esar Haddon, his son, [ruled] in his [place.]

Isaiah 30:1-33 Distress for the Rebellious Children Who Take Counsel of False gods

Distress for the Rebellious Children Who Take Counsel of False gods

Isaiah 30:1-33                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Distress for] the rebellious children [people,] says the Lord, that [get advice,] but not [from] Me & [who seek for protection,] [like a] cover, but not of My Spirit, [so] that they may add sin to sin.

[Isaiah 29:15 [Distress for those who search] deep to hide their [advice] from the Lord & their [deeds] are [hidden] in the dark & they say, Who sees us? And Who knows us?]

That walk to go down into Egypt, to strengthen themselves in [Pharaoh's] strength & to trust in the [shade] of Egypt, [but] haven't asked [for a response from] My Mouth! Therefore, the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame & the trust in the [shade] of Egypt, [shall be] your confusion.

[Isaiah 31:1 [Distress for those who] go down to Egypt for help & [rely] on horses & trust in chariots & horsemen, because [there] are many & they are very strong. But they [don't] look to the Holy One of Israel, neither [do they] seek the Lord!]

[Hane's] ambassadors came to [him] & his princes were [in] Zoan. They were all ashamed of a people, [who] couldn't [benefit] them, nor be [of] help, nor profit, but a shame & also a [disgrace.] [Isaiah 19:11 Surely, the princes of Zoan are fools. The counsel of the wise & [Pharaoh’s] counselors [have] become [foolish.] How [do] you say to Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the sons of ancient kings?]

The [vision] of the beasts of the south: into a land of trouble & anguish, from [where] the young & old [lions] come, the [cobra] & the fiery, flying serpent & they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young [mules] & their treasures upon the [haunches] of camels, to a people, [who] shall not [benefit] them.

[Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out & that old serpent, called the Devil & Satan, which deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth & his angels were cast out with him.]

For the Egyptians shall help in vain & [be ineffective.] Therefore, I have cried [out about] this. Their strength is to sit still. Now, go & write it [in front of] them in a [tablet] & note it in a book, [so] it may be for the time to come, forever & ever, that this is a rebellious people, lying children.

Children [people, who] won't hear the Law of the Lord.  [Habakkuk 2:2-3 And the Lord answered me & said, Write the vision & make it plain upon [tablets, so] he, [who] reads it may run. For the vision is [still] for an appointed time, but at the end it shall [tell] & not lie [still:] though it [delays,] wait for it; because it will surely [happen,] it won't [linger.]

[Who] say to the seer, [Don't] see & to the prophets, [Don't] prophesy to us [righteous] things. Speak to us [pleasant] things & prophesy [what is deceit.] You, get out of the [road] & turn & [go astray] out of the path. And [let us no longer hear of] the Holy One of Israel before us.

[For this reason, the Holy One of Israel says [this,] Because you despise this Word & trust in oppression & [wickedness] & [rely on them;] Therefore, this [sin] shall be to you [like a split extending in] a high wall, ready to fall, whose breaking comes suddenly, [in] an instant.

And He shall break it, [like] the breaking of the potter's [hardened clay] vessel that is broken in pieces. He shall not spare: so that there shall not be found a [sharp] shard [from its] bursting, to take fire from the [fireplace] hearth [like with a scoop.]

Or to take water out of the [well with it.] For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, says [this;] You shall be saved, in returning & rest. Your strength shall be in quietness & in confidence, [but] you wouldn't [do this.]

[Matthew 23:37-38 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who] kill the prophets & stone [those who] are sent to you. How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen gathers her chickens under her wings & you would not! [Watch,] your house is left to you desolate [& empty.]

But you said, No; for we will flee & ride upon swift horses. Therefore, [those who] pursue you shall be swift. 1,000 shall flee at the [scolding] of 1. At the [scolding] of 5, you shall flee: [until] you [are] left [alone] like a beacon, [a.k.a. lamp,] on top of a mountain, [like] a [flag] on a hill.

And therefore, the Lord will wait, [so] that He may be gracious to you. And therefore, He will be exalted, [so] that He may have mercy upon you. For the Lord is a God of [justice.] Blessed are all [those who] wait for Him. [Revelation 3:19-21 I [reprimand] & chastise, as many as I love.

Therefore, be zealous & repent. [Watch,] I stand at the door & knock. If any man [hears] My voice & [opens] the door, I will come in to him & will [dine] with him & he with Me. To him, [who] overcomes, I will grant to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame & am [sitting] down with My Father, [on] His throne.]

For the people shall dwell [at] Zion [in] Jerusalem. You shall no [longer] weep. He will be very gracious to you, at the [sound] of your [out] cry & when he shall hear it, He will answer you. And though the Lord [gives] you the bread of adversity & the water of affliction, [still,] your teachers [of faith,] shall not be removed into a corner anymore.

But your eyes shall see your teachers & your ears shall hear a word behind you, when you turn to the right hand [side] or you turn to the left, saying, This is the [path,] you, walk in it. You shall also defile the silver [coating] of your [carved] images & the gold ornament of your [molded] images. You shall [throw] them away, [like a monthly cycle pad.] You shall say to it, You [get away from here.]

Then, He shall [again] give the rain [for] your seed, [so] that you shall sow the ground [with it;] & [for] the bread of the [produce] of the earth & it shall be [rich & plentiful.] [On] that day, your [livestock] shall feed in large pastures. [Also,] the oxen & the young [donkeys,] that [plow] the ground, shall eat clean [fodder,] which has been [separated] with the fan & the shovel.

And upon every high mountain & every high hill, there shall be rivers & streams of waters [on] the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. [Luke 13:1-5 At that [time,] there were some, [who] told Him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had [mixed] with their sacrifices. And Jesus [answered] & said to them, [Do] you supposed these Galileans [were worse] sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered such things?

I tell you, No; but, [unless] you repent, you shall all [also] perish. Or those 18, upon whom the Tower in Siloam fell & [killed] them, [do] you think they were [worse] sinners above all men, [who] dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, No; but [unless] you repent, you shall all likewise perish.]

[Additionally,] the light of the moon shall be [like] the light of the sun. [Revelation 21:22-23 And I saw no temple [there:] for the Lord God Almighty & the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun & neither the moon, to shine in it. For the glory of God [lightened] it & the Lamb is the light [of it.]

And the light of the sun shall be 7 [times as much,] as the light of 7 days, [on] the day that the Lord [bandages] up the [wound] of His people & heals the [whip marks] of their wound. [Isaiah 53:3-5 He is despised & rejected [by] men; a Man of sorrows & acquainted with grief.

And we hid, [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised & we [didn't hold] Him [in high regard.] Surely, He has borne our griefs & carried our sorrows, [still] we did not [respect] Him, [suffering, struck] & afflicted [by] God. But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our [sins] & with His [whip] stripes, we are healed.]

[Watch,] the Name of the Lord comes from far, burning with His anger & [its] burden is heavy. His lips are full of indignation & His tongue, [is like] a devouring fire.

[Revelation 14:9-10 And the 3rd Angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man [worships] the beast & his image & [receives] his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the [fury] of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation & he shall be tormented with fire & brimstone, in the presence of the holy Angels & in the presence of the Lamb.]

And His breath, [like] an overflowing stream, shall reach to the [middle] of the neck, to sift the nations with the [strainer] of vanity. And there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to [go astray.]

[Isaiah 11:4 But the [righteous] shall judge the poor & [repay] with equity, for the [humble] of the earth. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth & He shall slay the wicked, with the breath of His lips.]

You shall have a song, [like on] the night when a holy [solemn feast] is kept & gladness of heart, [like] when [someone] goes into the mountain of the Lord with a [flute] to the Mighty One of Israel. And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard & shall [sling] the lightning down [from] His arm, with the indignation of His anger, the flame of devouring fire, with tempest & with scattering hailstones.

For through the [Lord's] voice, the Assyrian, [who struck] with a rod, shall be beaten down. And there shall be [tambourines] & harps, in every place where the staff [of correction] shall pass, [that] the Lord shall lay upon him. He will fight with [the Assyrians] in battles with [much trembling.]

For Tophet, [a.k.a. The Valley of Hinnom, also Topheth,] is [appointed,] of old, for much wood is prepared for [its] king & the pile [of it,] He has made it deep & large & the [Lord's] breath will kindle it, like a stream of brimstone.

[2 Kings 23:10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the children [people] of Hinnom, [so] that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.]

Isaiah 29:1-24 Distress for Ariel, the City Where David Dwelt

Distress for Ariel, the City Where David Dwelt

Isaiah 29:1-24                                The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[Distress for] Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt, [a.k.a. Jerusalem.] Let them kill & add [up animals for] sacrifices year [by] year. [Still,] I will distress Ariel & there shall be [heavy hearts] & sorrow. And it shall be [like] Ariel [is] to Me.

And I will [surround] you & camp against you. I will [wage war] against you with [an embankment] & I will raise forts against you. And you shall be brought down & shall speak out of the ground.

Your [voice] shall be low, [muffled like a] whisper, out of the [dirt] & your voice shall be, [like someone, who] has a familiar spirit, [a.k.a. someone who contacts the dead.]

[Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say to you, Seek to [those who] have a familiar spirits & to wizards that [whisper] & mutter, shouldn't a people seek to their God? For the Living, [not] to the dead?]

[Also,] the multitude of your [foreigners] shall be like [fine] dust & the multitude of the [ruthless] ones shall be [like stubble,] that passes away suddenly, [in] an instant. You shall be [punished] by the Lord of Hosts with: thunder, an earthquake, [loud] noise, storm, tempest & [a] flame of devouring fire.

[Isaiah 30:30 And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard & shall [sling] the lightning down [from] His arm, with the indignation of His anger & with the flame of devouring fire, tempest & scattering hailstones.]

And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even against her [armory of weapons] & distress her, shall be [like] a vision [in] a dream [at] night. It shall even be [like] when a hungry man dreams [that] he eats, but [when] he [wakes up,] his [stomach] is empty.

Or [like] when a thirsty man dreams [that] he drinks; but when he [wakes up,] he is faint & his [stomach still] has [an] appetite. So shall the multitude of the nations be, [who] fight against Mount Zion. [Stop] yourselves & wonder. You cry out & [weep.]

They are [drunk,] but not with wine. They stagger, but not with strong drink. [Isaiah 5:22-23 [Distress for those who] are mighty & drink wine & men of strength & [mix] strong [drinks.] Who justify the wicked for reward, [a.k.a. bribes] & take [away] the [rights] of the righteous away from him!]

For the Lord has poured out the spirit of deep sleep upon you & has closed your eyes. He has covered [the eyes of] the prophets, your rulers & the seers. [Isaiah 6:9-10 *And He said, Go & tell this people, You indeed hear, but [don't] understand. You indeed see, but don't [recognize.]

*Make the heart of this people fat & make their ears heavy & shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes & hear with their ears & understand with their heart & convert & be healed.]

And the vision of all [has] become to you, [like] the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to [someone, who is educated,] saying, I pray [that] you read this. And he says, I can't; [because] it's sealed. And the book is delivered to him, [who isn't educated,] saying, I pray [that] you read this & he says, I'm not [educated.]

*[For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since] this people draw near Me with their mouth & honor Me with their lips, but have removed their heart far from Me & their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the precept, [a.k.a. commandment] of men.

Therefore, [watch,] I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people. Even a marvelous work & a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish & the understanding of their [sensible] men shall be [hidden.]

[Distress for those who search] deep to hide their [advice] from the Lord & their [deeds] are [hidden] in the dark & they say, Who sees us? And Who knows us? Surely, your turning things [topsy-turvy,] shall be [regarded like] the potter's clay. For shall the work say of him, [who] made it, He [didn't make] me?

Or shall the thing [formed] say of him, [who formed] it, He had no understanding? [Romans 9:20-21 [No,] but who are you, O man, who rebels] against God? Shall the thing formed say to him, [Who] formed it, Why have You made Me [like this?] Hasn't the potter power over the same lump of clay, to make one vessel to honor & another to dishonor?]

Isn't it [still] a very [short time until] Lebanon shall be [returned] into a fruitful field & a fruitful field, shall be [regarded like] a forest? And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the words of the book & the eyes of the blind shall see, out of [blurriness] & darkness.

The [humble] shall also increase their joy in the Lord & the poor men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. [Isaiah 11:4 But He shall judge the poor with righteousness & [repay] with equity for the [humble] of the earth. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth & with the breath of His lips, He shall slay the wicked.]

For the [ruthless] one is brought to [nothing] & [person who looks down on others] is [devoured.]  And all [those who] watch for [what is sinful,] are cut off. [Proverbs 14:22 Don't they err [who] devise evil? But mercy & truth shall be to [those who] devise good.]

[Those err] that [with] a word, make a man an offender. [Deuteronomy 19:18-19 And the judges shall diligently [investigate] & [see] if the witness [is] a false witness & has testified falsely against his brother; then you shall do to him, [like] he thought to have done to his brother.  [Like this,] you shall put the evil away from among you.]

And [those who put a trap] for him [who pleads his case] in the gate & turns aside the [person who has a] just [case,] for a thing [that is nothing at all.] [Amos 5:11-12 Therefore, [since] your [trampling] is upon the poor & you take from him burdens of wheat: you have built houses of [cut] stone, but you shall not [live] in them. You have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine [from] them. For I know your [multitude] of transgressions & your mighty sins. They afflict the just & they take a bribe & they turn aside the [rights of] the poor, from [them,] in the gate.]

Therefore, the Lord, Who redeemed Abraham, says [this related] to the house of Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] Jacob shall not be ashamed now, neither shall his face [grow] pale now. But when he sees his children, the work of [My] hands, in the midst of [Israel,] they shall sanctify My Name & sanctify the Holy One of Jacob & shall fear [respect] the God of Israel.

[Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus [for] good works, which God has before ordained, that we should [follow] in them.] [Those who] also erred in spirit, shall come to [know] understanding & [those who grumbled] shall learn doctrine.
