About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Psalm 20:1-9 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician.

Psalm 20:1-9            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord hears you [on] the day of trouble. God [defends] you in the name of Jacob & sends you help from the sanctuary & strengthens you out of Zion. [He] [remembers] all your offerings & [accepts] your burnt sacrifices. Selah.

[He] [grants] you, according to your own heart & fulfills all your [advice given.] We will rejoice in Your salvation & in the Name of our God & we will [put] up our banners. The Lord [fulfills] all our [requests.]

Now, I know that the Lord saves His anointed. He will hear him from His holy heaven, with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots & some in horses. But we will remember the Name of the Lord, our God.

[Psalm 33:16-18 There is no king saved by the multitude of an [army.] A mighty man isn't delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety; Neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. [Look,] the eye of the Lord is upon [those who] fear [respect] Him & upon [those who] hope in His mercy.]

They are brought down & fallen. But we are risen & stand upright. Lord, save us & let the king hear when we call.

Psalm 19:1-14 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician.

Psalm 19:1-14            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

The heavens declare the glory of God & the heavens show His handiwork. Speech is uttered day [by] day & night to night, knowledge [is revealed.] There is no speech, nor language, where their voice isn't heard.

Their [measuring] line [has] gone out through all the earth & their words to the [ends] of the world. In [these,] He has [put] a tabernacle for the sun, which is [like] a bridegroom coming out of his [room, who] rejoices [like] a strong man [about] to run a race.

He [goes out] from the [ends] of heaven. His [orbit is to] the ends of it & there is nothing hidden from [its] heat. [Romans 10:18 But I say, Haven't they heard? Yes, [truly,] their [voices] went into all the earth & their words to the ends of the world.]

The Law of the Lord is perfect, [restoring] the soul. The Testimony of the Lord is [beyond doubt,] making the simple, wise. The [mandates] of the Lord are right, [causing] rejoicing [of] the heart.

The [commandments] of the Lord are pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear [respect] of the Lord is [free from impurities,] enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are altogether true & righteous.

They are more to be desired than gold. [Yes,] than much fine gold.; also, sweeter than honey & the honeycomb. [Psalm 119:127 Therefore, I love Your commandments above gold; [yes,] above fine gold.]

In keeping [these,] there is great reward & [also] by them, your servant is warned. Who can understand his errors? You, cleanse me from my secret faults.

[Psalm 51:1-2 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your loving kindness. And according to Your [many] mercies, blot out my [sins.] Wash me thoroughly from [my] iniquity & cleanse me from my sin.]

Keep Your servant back from [unintentional] sins & also [don't] let them have [control] over me. Then I shall be upright & I shall be innocent from the [large sins.]

[Psalm 119:133 In Your Word, order my steps & [don't] let any [sin] have [control] over me.] Let the words of my mouth & the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength & my redeemer.

Psalm 18:1-50 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician. David, the servant of the Lord, who [spoke] to the Lord the words of this song [on] the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies & from the hand of Saul. And [David] said:

Psalm 18:1-50            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

O Lord, my strength, I will love You. The Lord is my rock, my fortress & my deliverer. My God, in Whom I will trust, my strength, my [shield,] my high tower & the horn of my salvation.

I will call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised. So, I shall be saved from [my] enemies. The sorrows of death [surround] me & [the overwhelming flood] of ungodly men [have] made me afraid.

The sorrows of hell [surround around] me & the snares of death prevented me [from getting free.] I called upon the Lord, in my distress & cried [out] to my God. He heard my voice [from] His temple & my cry came before Him, even to His ears.

Then, the earth shook & trembled. Also, the foundations of the hills moved & were shaken, because He was [angry.] [Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost & they [spoke] the Word of God with boldness.]

Smoke went out of His nostrils there & fire out of His mouth devoured & coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens & also came down: and darkness was under His feet. [Psalm 144:5 Bow Your heavens [down,] O Lord & come down. Touch the mountains & they shall smoke.]

And He rode upon a cherub & [flew. Yes,] He did fly upon the wings of the wind. [Psalm 99:1 The Lord [rules.] Let the people tremble. He sits between the cherubims. Let the earth be moved.]

His pavilion [around] him were dark waters & thick [cloudy] skies & He made darkness, His secret  place. His thick clouds, hailstones & coals of fire passed, at the brightness that was before Him.

[Psalm 97:2-3 A fire goes before Him & burns up His enemies [around Him.] His [lightning] enlightened the world. The earth saw & trembled.] Also, the Lord thundered: hailstones & coals of fire in the heavens & the Highest gave His voice.

[Psalm 104:7 At Your [chastising] they fled. At the voice of your thunder, they [hurried] away.] [Yes,] He sent out His arrows & scattered them. And He shot out [lightning bolts] & [defeated] them.

At your [scolding,] O Lord, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils, the channels of waters were then seen & the foundations of the world were discovered. He sent from above & He took me & He [pulled] me out of many waters.

[Psalm 144:7 Send [Your] hand from above & [rescue] me & deliver me out of [large] waters, from the hand of [foreign] children.] He delivered me from my strong enemy & from [those who] hated me, for they were too strong for me.

They [confronted] me [on] the day of my calamity: for the Lord was my [support.] He also brought me [out] into a large place & He delivered me, because He delighted in me. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness. He [repaid] me according to the cleanness of my hands.

[Genesis 9:6 [Whoever] sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed. For in the image of God, He made man.] For I have kept the ways of the Lord & haven't departed wickedly from my God. For all His judgments were before me & I didn't put away His [mandates] from me.

I also was upright before Him & I kept myself from [my sins.] Therefore, the Lord has [repaid] me according to my righteousness & the cleanness of my hands in His eyesight.

You will show Yourself merciful with the merciful. You will show Yourself upright with an upright man. [Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.] With the pure, You will show Yourself pure. And with the [stubborn,] You will show Yourself [stubborn.]

[Proverbs 3:34 Surely, He [looks down on] the scorners; but He gives grace to the [humble.] For You will save the afflicted people; but will bring down [those with] high looks. [Psalm 101:5 [Whoever secretly] slanders his neighbor, I will cut him off. And I will not [allow] him [who] has a proud heart & a high look.]

The Lord, my God will [lighten] my darkness: For You will light my candle. For by You, I have run through a troop & by my God, I have leaped over a wall. As for God, His way is perfect. The Word of the Lord is [tested.] He is a [shield] to all those [who] trust in Him.

For Who is God, [except] for the Lord? Or Who is a rock, [except] our God? [Deuteronomy 32:39-40 See now that I, even I, am He & there is no god with Me. I kill & I make alive. I wound & I  heal. Neither is there any [who] can deliver out of My hand. For I lift up My hand to heaven & say, I live forever.]

It is God, [Who clothes] me with strength & makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like [the] feet [of deer] & He [puts] me in upon my high places.

[Isaiah 58:14 Then, you shall delight yourself in the Lord & I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth & feed you with the heritage of Jacob, your [forefather.] For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.]

He teaches my hands to [battle,] so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation. And Your right hand has [held] me up & Your [kindness] has made me great. You have enlarged my [path] under me, [so] my feet don't slip.

[Proverbs 4:11-12 I have taught you in the [ways] of wisdom & I have led you in [the] right paths. When you go, your steps shall not be [hindered] & when you run, you shall not stumble.]

I have pursued my enemies & overtaken them. Neither did I turn [back until] they were [destroyed.] I have wounded [those who] were not able to rise [up.] They [have] fallen under my feet. For You have [clothed] me with strength [for] the battle. You have [put] under [my control those who] rose up against me.

Also, You have given me the necks of [my] enemies; [so] I might destroy [those who] hate me. They cried [out,] but there was [no one] to save them & even to the Lord, but He [didn't] answer them.

Then, I beat them [down like fine] dust, [in front of] the wind. I [threw] them out like the dirt in the streets. You have delivered me from the [quarrels] of the people. And You have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known, shall serve me. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me.

The [foreigners] shall submit themselves to me. The [foreigners] shall fade away & be afraid [from] their [secret] places. The Lord lives. And blessed be my rock & let the God of my salvation be exalted.

It is God, [Who] avenges me & [calms] the people under me. He delivers me from [my] enemies. [Yes,] You lift me up above those [who] rise up against me. You have delivered me from the violent man.

Therefore, I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the heathen & sing praises to Your Name. He gives great deliverance & [shows] mercy to his king, to David, His anointed & to his [lineage] forever more.

[*2 Samuel 7:12-13 And when your days [are] fulfilled & you shall sleep with your [forefathers,] I will set up your [descendants] after you, [who] shall proceed [from] your [loins] & I will establish His kingdom. He shall build a house for My Name & I will [establish] His kingdom.]

Psalm 17:1-15 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Prayer of David.

Psalm 17:1-15            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

O Lord, give [Your] ear & hear the [righteous] & [take care of] my [outcry] & my prayer, that goes out from [sincere, not deceitful] lips. Let Your eyes [see] the things that are [fair] & let my sentence come [out] from Your presence.

You have [tested my] heart & visited me in the night. You have tried me & shall find nothing. [My intention is] my mouth shall not [sin.] [Psalm 66:10 For You, O God, have [tested] us. You have tried us, [like] silver is tried.]

By the Word of Your lips, I have kept [myself] from [involvement in] the [deeds] of men & the paths of the destroyer. [Hebrews 2:14 Then, [like] the children have flesh & blood, Christ, Himself also took the same flesh & blood; so that through death, Christ might destroy him, [who] had the power [over] death [which] is the devil.]

[Uphold,] my [going on] Your paths, [so] my footsteps [don't] slip. I have called upon You. [Lean] Your ear to me, for You will hear me, O God & hear [what I say.]

Show Your marvelous loving kindness, [to those who] put their trust in You. O You, [Who] saves by Your right hand, from those [who] rise up against them.

Keep me [like] the apple of [Your] eye & hide me under the shadow of Your wings, from the wicked [who] oppress me & from my deadly enemies [who surround around] me.

They are [covered] in their own fat & speak proudly with their mouth. They have now [surrounded] us in our steps & bowing down to the earth, they have set their eyes [upon us] like a greedy lion & a young lion, lurking in secret places [for] his prey.

O Lord, arise & cast him down & [confront] him. Deliver my soul from the wicked, [with] Your sword. From men, [with] Your hand, O Lord, from men of the world, [who] have their portion in this [lifetime.] [Psalm 16:5 You uphold my lot. The Lord is the portion & my cup of [my] inheritance.]

[Those] whose [stomachs] You fill with Your [hidden] treasure. [2 Kings 24:13-14 And he carried out [from there] all the treasures of the house of the Lord & the treasures of the king's house & cut in pieces all the vessels of gold [that] Solomon, king of Israel, had made [for] the temple of the Lord, [like] the Lord had said.]

They [have many] children & leave the rest of their [possessions] to their [little ones.] As for me, I will [see] Your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied when I awake, with Your likeness.

[1 John 3:2-3 Beloved, we are now the sons of God & it's not [apparent] yet, what we shall be. But we know that when we shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him [like] He is. And every man [who] has this hope in [Christ,] purifies himself, even [like God] is pure.]

Psalm 16:1-11 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

Michtam [a.k.a. Miktam] of David.

Psalm 16:1-11            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

[Save] me, O God: for I do put my trust in You. O my soul has said to the Lord, My goodness [is nothing without] You, [Who] are my Lord. But all My delight is to the saints & the excellent [who are on] the earth.

[Those who hurry] after another god, shall [have] their sorrows multiplied. I won't offer their drink offerings of blood, nor take up their names [on] my lips. Revelation 3:5 He [who] overcomes, shall be clothed in white raiment & I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father & before His Angels.

You [uphold] my lot & the Lord is [my] portion & my cup of my inheritance. The [boundary] lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. [Yes,] I have a [large inheritance.]

I will bless the Lord, Who has given me [advice] & also [guides] me [through] the night [by] my [heart strings.] I have always [put] the Lord before me, because He is at my right hand & I shall not be [removed.]

Therefore, my flesh shall rest in hope & my heart is glad & rejoices in [Your] glory. *For You will not leave My soul in hell. Neither will You [allow] Your Holy One to see corruption.

[Fulfilled in: Acts 2:30-31 Therefore, being a prophet & knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him [King David,] that He would raise up Christ to sit on His throne; [from] the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh. He seeing this [beforehand, spoke] of the resurrection of Christ. That His soul wasn't left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.]

You will show me the path of life. Full joy is in Your presence. There are pleasures forevermore at Your right hand. [John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth & the Life. No man comes to the Father, [except] by Me.]

Psalm 15:1-5 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Psalm of David.

Psalm 15:1-5            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

Lord, who shall [stay] in Your tabernacle? Who shall [live] in Your Holy Hill? He [who follows] uprightly, [does what is righteous] & speaks the truth in his heart.

He [who doesn't talk rudely with his mouth, behind someone's back] & doesn't [treat his neighbor's wickedly, doesn't falsely accuse] his neighbor. In whose eyes a [detestable] person is condemned.

But he honors [those who] fear [respect] the Lord. He [who testifies truthfully, when it's not to his benefit] & [doesn't] change [his testimony.]

He [doesn't lend] his money for [interest,] nor [does] he [take a profit from] the innocent. He [who] does these things, shall never be [removed.]

Psalm 14:1-7 Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

A Psalm of David, to the chief Musician.

Psalm 14:1-7            Book# 1 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt & they have done [detestable deeds.] There are none [who do] good. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there [are] any [who] did understand & seek God. They [have] all gone [astray.]

They [have] all become [corrupt] & there [are] none [who do] good. No, not one. Haven't the workers of [sin any] knowledge? [Those] who eat up my people, [like] they were bread & [don't] call upon the Lord.

They were [very fearful] there, for God is [with] the righteous generation. You have [belittled] the [advice] of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

Oh, that the Salvation of Israel [would] come out of Zion! When the Lord brings back His people [from] captivity, Jacob shall rejoice & Israel shall be glad.
