About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Matthew 28:1-20 The Plot to Cover Up Jesus' Resurrection from the Tomb

The Plot to Cover Up Jesus' Resurrection from the Tomb

Matthew 28:1-20    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

[After the Sabbath's end,] as the 1st day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene & the other Mary came to see the [tomb.] And there was a great earthquake, & [saw,] the Angel of the Lord descended from heaven, & rolled back the stone, [a.k.a. boulder,] from the door & sat upon it.

[The Angel's face,] was like lightning, & his [clothing] white as snow. And for fear of [the Angel,] the keepers, [a.k.a. guards, shook,] & became [like] dead men.

And the Angel [responded] & said to the women, [Don't] you [be afraid:] for I know that you seek Jesus, [Who] was crucified. *He isn't here: for He Is risen, as He said. Come, & see the place where the Lord lay.

[Matthew 17:22-23 *And while they [stayed] in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: & they shall kill Him. *And the 3rd day, He shall be raised again.]

And go quickly, & tell His disciples that He Is risen from the dead. [Psalm 16:9-10 Therefore, My heart is glad & [rejoices] [with] My glory. Also, My flesh shall rest in hope. *For You won't leave My soul in hell; & neither [will] You [allow] Your Holy One to see corruption.]

And, [see,] He goes before you into Galilee, & you shall see Him there. [Look,] I have told you. And they departed quickly from the [tomb,] with fear & great joy; & [ran] to bring His disciples word.

And as they went to tell His disciples, [saw,] Jesus met them, saying, All hail, [a.k.a. Rejoice.] And they came & held Him by the feet, & worshiped Him. Then, Jesus said to them, [Don't] be afraid. Go & tell My brethren, [so] that they go into Galilee, & they shall see Me there.

Now, when they were going, [saw,] [that] some of the watch, [a.k.a. guards, went] into the city. And [they] [declared] to the chief priests, all the things that [happened.]

And when they were assembled with the elders, & had [gotten advice,] they gave [a] large [amount of] money to the soldiers, saying, You, say, His disciples came [at] night, & stole Him away while we slept.

And if this [comes] to the governor's ears, we will persuade him & [make] you secure. So, they took the money, & did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

*Then, the 11 disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him. [Mark 14:28 *But after that I Am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.]

But some doubted. [Luke 24:38-40 And [Jesus] said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do thoughts arise in your hearts? [Look,] My hands & My feet, that it is I, Myself. Handle Me, & see; for a spirit [doesn't have] flesh & bones, as you see Me have.

*And Jesus came & spoke to them, saying, All power is given to Me in heaven & [on] earth. [Psalm 22:27-28 *All the ends of the world shall remember & turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds, [a.k.a. families,] of the nations shall worship before You. For the Kingdom is the Lord's: & He is the governor, [a.k.a. Ruler,] among the nations.]

Therefore, you, go, & teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, & of the Son, & of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe, [a.k.a. obey,] all things, [whatever] I have commanded you. And, [look,] I Am with you [always,] even [until] the end of the World. Amen.

Matthew 27:1-66 The Mockery of Jesus Christ Before He was Crucified

The Mockery of Jesus Christ Before He was Crucified

Matthew 27:1-66    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

*When the morning [had] come, all the chief priests & elders of the people, [got advice] against Jesus, to put Him to death. [Psalm 2:2-3 *The kings of the earth & the rulers have [put] themselves [in powerful positions,] & take counsel together, against the Lord, & against His Anointed, saying, Let us break their bands [to pieces,] & cast away their cords from us.]

*And when they had [tied] Him, they led [Jesus] away, & delivered Him to Pontius Pilate, the governor.

*Then, Judas, [who] had betrayed [Jesus,] when he saw that [Jesus] was condemned, [he regretted,] & brought the 30 pieces of silver again to the chief priests & elders saying, I have sinned, in that, I have betrayed the innocent blood. [Psalm 41:9 *[Yes,] My Own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, [who ate] of My bread, has lifted up his heel against Me.]

And they said, What is that to us? You, see to that. And [Judas] cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, & [left,] & went & [hung] himself. And the chief priests took the silver pieces, & said, It isn't lawful to put them into the treasury, because it's the price of [bloodshed.]

And they [got advice,] & bought the potter's field, with them, to bury strangers in. [For this reason,] that field was called, The Field of Blood, [until] this day.

*Then, was fulfilled [what] was spoken by [Jeremiah,] the prophet, saying, And they took the 30 pieces of silver, the price of Him, [Who] was valued, Whom [those,] of the children of Israel did value; & gave them for the potters field, as the Lord appointed me.

[Zechariah 11:12-13 *And I said to them, If you think [it's] good, give me My price, & if not, [decline.] So, they weighed [out] for My price, 30 pieces of silver. And the Lord said to Me, [Throw] it to the potter, a goodly price that I was [valued] at [by] them. And I took the 30 pieces of silver, in the house of the Lord & [threw] them to the potter.]

And Jesus stood [in front of] the governor. And the governor asked Him, [Are] You the King of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, You say [so.] *And when [Jesus] was accused [by] the chief priests & elders, He answered nothing.

[Isaiah 53:7 *He was oppressed, & He was afflicted, [still] He [didn't open] His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter, & [like] a sheep [in front of its] shearers is [mute,] so He [didn't] open His mouth.]

*Then, Pilate said to [Jesus, Don't] You [hear] how many things they [testify] against You? And [Jesus didn't answer] a Word to him, [in that,] the governor marveled greatly. [Psalm 35:11 *False witnesses did rise up; & they laid to My charge, that that I [didn't] know.]

Now, at that feast, the governor [wanted] to release a prisoner, whom they [wanted,] to the people. And they then had a [famous,] prisoner, called Barabbas.

Therefore, when they were gathered together, Pilate said to them, Whom [do] you [want] that I release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, [Who] is called Christ? For [Pilate] knew that for envy, they had delivered [Jesus.]

When [Pilate sat] down on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, You, have nothing to do with that just, [a.k.a. Virtuous,] Man. For I have suffered many things in a dream, because of Him, this day.

But the chief priests & elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask [for] Barabbas, & destroy Jesus. The governor said to them, [Which] of the [two,] [do] you [want] that I release to you? They said, Barabbas.

Pilate said to them, Then, what shall I do with Jesus, [Who] is called Christ? They all said to [Pilate,] Let Him be crucified. And the governor said, Why, what evil has He done? But they cried out [even] more, saying, Let Him be crucified.

When Pilate saw that he couldn't prevail, but [instead] that a [riot] was made, [Pilate] took water, & washed his hands [in front of] the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person. You see to it.

Then, all the people answered & said, [Let] His blood be on us, & on our children. *Then, he released Barabbas to them. And when he had Jesus scourged, [a.k.a. whipped, Pilate] delivered Him to be crucified. [Matthew 20:18 *[Watch,] we go up to Jerusalem; & the Son of Man shall be betrayed to the chief priest, & the scribes, & they shall condemn Him to death.]

Then, the [governor's] soldiers took Jesus into the common hall, & gathered the whole [division] of soldiers to Him. *And they striped [Jesus,] & put a scarlet robe on Him. [Matthew 20:19 *And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, & to scourge, & to crucify Him. And the 3rd day He shall rise again.

And when they had [woven] a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, & a reed in His right hand. *And they bowed [their] [knees in front of] Him, & mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!  [Psalm 69:19 *You have known My [disgrace,] & My shame, & My dishonor. [My enemies] are all before You.]

*And they spit upon [Jesus,] & took the reed, & [struck] Him on the head. [Isaiah 50:5-6 *The Lord God [has] opened [My] ear, & I wasn't rebellious, & neither turned away [My] back. *I gave My back to the smiters, [a.k.a. hitters,] & My cheeks to [those, who] plucked off the hair. I [didn't hide] My face from shame & spitting.]

*And after they had mocked [Jesus,] they took the robe off from Him, & put His Own [clothing] on Him, & led Him away to crucify Him. [Isaiah 53:4-6 *Surely, He has [carried] our griefs, & our sorrows, [still] we [didn't respect] Him, [suffering, struck,] & afflicted [by] God. *But He was wounded for our [sins,] & He was bruised for our [sinfulness.]

The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him. And with His stripes [from whips,] we are healed. *All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have everyone turned to his own way. And the Lord has laid on Him, the [sin] of us all.]

And as they came out, & they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name; & they compelled him to [carry Jesus'] cross. And when they [had come] to a place called Golgotha, that is to say: A Place of a Skull, *they gave [Jesus] vinegar to drink [mixed] with gall. And when He had tasted [of it,] He wouldn't drink [it.]

[Psalm 69:20-21 *[Disgrace] has broken My heart, & I Am full of heaviness. And I looked for [someone] to take pity, but there were none; & [looked] for comforters, & found none. *They also gave Me gall for My meat; [a.k.a. food,] & in My thirst, they gave Me vinegar to drink.]

*And they crucified Him & parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled [what] was spoken by the prophet, They parted My garments among them, & they cast lots upon My vesture.]

[Psalm 22:16-18 *For dogs have [surrounded] Me. The assembly of the wicked have [enclosed] Me: & they pierced My hands & My feet. *I may tell all My bones: they look & stare upon Me. *They part My garments among them, & cast lots upon My vesture.]

*And sitting down, they watched [Jesus,] there. *And [put] up over His head, His accusation written: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. [Jeremiah 23:5-6 *[Watch,] the days come, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, & a King shall [rule] & prosper, & shall [carry out] judgment & justice on the earth.

*[During] His days, Judah shall be saved, & Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His Name, [by which] He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.]

*Then, there were 2 thieves crucified with [Jesus,] one or the right hand [side,] & another on the left. [Isaiah 53:10-12 *[Still,] it pleased the Lord to bruise Him. He has put Him to grief. When You shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, & He shall prolong His days.

And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. *He shall see the [troubles] of His Soul, & shall be satisfied by His knowledge: My Righteous Servant shall justify many. For He shall bear their [sins.]

*Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, & He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He [has] poured out His Soul, [even] to death. And He was numbered with the transgressors, & He [carried] the sin of many, & made intercession for the transgressors.]

*And [those, who] passed by [mocked Jesus,] wagging their heads, & saying, You, [Who destroy] the temple, & [rebuild] it in 3 days, save Yourself. If You [Are] the Son of God, Come down from the cross.

[Psalm 22:7-8 *All [those, who] see Me, laugh Me to scorn. They shoot out the lip, & they shake [their] head, saying, *He trusted [in] the Lord, [so] that He would deliver Him. Let Him deliver Him, [since] He [delights] in Him.]

Likewise, also the chief priests mocking [Jesus,] with the scribes & elders, said, He saved others. He cannot save Himself. If He [is] the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, & we will believe Him. [Psalm 69:7 *Because for Your sake, I have [carried disgrace.] Shame [has] covered My face.]

*He trusted in God. Let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him. For He said, I Am the Son of God. [Psalm 35:19 *[Don't] let [those, who] are [My] enemies, wrongfully rejoice over Me. Neither let [those, who] hate Me without a [reason,] wink with [their] eye.]

Also, the thieves, [who] were crucified with Him, cast the same in his teeth, [a.k.a. made similar remarks.] *Now, from the 6th hour, there was darkness over all the land [until] the 9th hour.

[Amos 8:9-10 *And the Lord God says, it shall [happen on] that day, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, & I will darken the earth [on a] clear day. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, & all your songs into [grieving.]

And I will bring sackcloth up upon all [waists,] & baldness upon every head. And I will make it [like] the mourning of an Only Son, & the end [of it like] a bitter day.]

*And about the 9th hour, Jesus cried [out] with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? [Psalm 22:1 *My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why [are] You so far from helping Me, & from the Words of My roaring?]

Some of them, [who] stood there, when they heard that, said, This Man [calls] for [Elijah.] *And [right away,] one of them ran, & took a [sponge,] & filled it with vinegar, & put it on a reeds, and gave [it to] [Jesus] to drink. The rest said, Let [it] be, let's see whether [Elijah] will come to save Him.

When Jesus had cried [out] again with a loud voice, He yielded up the ghost, [a.k.a. died.] [John 19:30 Therefore, when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished. And He bowed His head, & gave up the ghost.]

*And, behold, the temple veil was [torn] in [two] from the top to the bottom. And the earth [quaked,] & the rocks [split;] & the graves were opened. [Zechariah 14:4 And [on] that day, His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which [is in front of] Jerusalem on the East.

*And the Mount of Olives shall [split] in the [middle of it] toward the East & toward the West. And there shall be a very [large] valley. And half of the mountain shall [move] toward the North, & half toward the South.]

*After [Jesus'] resurrection, many bodies of the saints, [who] slept arose, & came out of the graves, & went into the holy city, & appeared to many.

*Now, when the Centurion, & [those, who] were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, & those things that were done, & they were greatly [fearful,] saying, Truly, this was the Son of God.

[Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour [out] upon the house of David & [Jerusalem's] inhabitants, the Spirit of grace, & of [petitions.] *And they shall look upon Me, Whom they have pierced. And they shall mourn for Him, [like] One mourns for His Only Son, & shall be in bitterness for Him, [like] One, [Who] is in bitterness for His firstborn.]

*And many women were there [watching far away, who] followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, [a.k.a. serving Him.] Among [whom] was: Mary Magdalene; & Mary, the mother of James & Joses, [a.k.a. Joseph;] & the mother of Zebedee's children. [Psalm 38:11 *My lovers, [a.k.a. those who love Me,] & My friends stand aloof from My [affliction;] & My kinsmen, [a.k.a. relatives,] stand [far away.]

*When the 11 [disciples] [had] come, a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also, himself, was Jesus' disciple, came there. He went to Pilate, & begged [for] the body of Jesus. Then, Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, & laid it in his own new tomb, which he had [cut] out in the rock. [Isaiah 53:9*And He made His grave with the wicked, & with the rich in His death, because He had done no violence, & neither was any deceit in His mouth.]

And he rolled a [large rock, a.k.a. a boulder,] to the door of the [tomb,] & left. And Mary Magdalene, & the other Mary [were] there, sitting over against the [tomb.]

Now, the next day, [a.k.a. the Sabbath Day,] that followed the day of preparation, the chief priest & Pharisees came to Pilate together, saying, Sir, we remember [what] that deceiver said, while He was [still] alive, *After 3 days, I will rise again.

Therefore, command that the [tomb] be made secure until the 3rd day, lest His disciples come [at] night, & steal Him away, & say to the people, He is risen from the dead. So, the last error shall be worse than the 1st.

Pilate said to them, You have a watch, [a.k.a. guards.] Go [on] your way, & make it as [secure] as you can. So, they went, & made the [tomb secure,] sealing the stone, & setting [guards to] watch.
