About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Exodus 31:1-18 The Lord put Wisdom in the Hearts of the Gifted Artisans for the Tabernacle

The Lord put Wisdom in the Hearts of the Gifted Artisans for the Tabernacle

Exodus 31:1-18            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: See, I have called by name Bezaleel, the son Uri, [who was] the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, understanding, knowledge & in all [types] of workmanship, to [design artistic] works & to work in gold, silver, [brass,] cutting of stones [to be put in settings,] in carving [wood] in all [types] of workmanship.

[Look,] I have given [to assist him,] Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. I have put wisdom in all the hearts of the wise [artisans, so] they may make, all that I have commanded you [for] the: tabernacle of the congregation, the Ark of the Testimony and the mercy seat that is [on it] & all the furniture of the tabernacle:

The table & [its] furniture, the pure gold candlestick with all [its] furniture & [utensils,] the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering with all [its] furniture & [utensils] & the [basin] & [its base] & the [clothes] of service, the holy garments of Aaron, the priest,

and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office & the anointing oil & sweet incense for the holy place. According to all I commanded you, they shall do. The Lord spoke to Moses saying: Speak to the children of Israel, saying:

[Surely] you shall keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me & you throughout your generations, [so] you know I am the Lord [Who] sanctifies you. You shall keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who defiles it shall surely be put to death.

For whoever does any work [on it,] that [person] shall be cut off from among his people. Work shall be for 6 days, but the 7th is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. [Whoever] does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

[Therefore] the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations [as] a perpetual covenant [contract.] It is a sign between Me & the children of Israel forever; for in 6 days the Lord made heaven & earth & on the 7th day, He rested & was refreshed.

And when He had made an end of [speaking] with Moses] on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses 2 [tablets] of theTestimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

Exodus 30:1-38 The Holy Incense & Anointing Oil Instructions- by the Lord’s Intelligent Design

The Holy Incense & Anointing Oil Instructions- by the Lord’s Intelligent Design

Exodus 30:1-38            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

[The Lord God told Moses:] You shall make a [square] altar out of shittim wood to burn incense on, 1 cubit [long] x 1 cubit [wide] x 2 cubits [high.] The horns [of it,] shall [all] be of the same [piece.] And you shall overlay all of it & its horns with pure gold & make a [moulding] of gold [all around.]

You shall make 2 golden [rings for] it which shall be placed on its 2 rings on [opposite corners] on each of 2 sides, under the [moulding,] which will be [holders] for the [poles] to [carry] it. The [poles] are to be made with shittim wood, [overlaid] with gold.

You should put [the incense altar in front of] the veil that is by the Ark of Testimony, before the mercy seat, that is over the Testimony, where I will meet with you. Aaron shall burn [on it] sweet incense every morning. [Luke 1:9 According to the custom of the priest’s office, his [job] was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.]

When Aaron [prepares] the lamps, he shall burn incense upon [the incense altar. And when Aaron lights the lamps at [twilight,] he shall burn incense upon it, [as] a perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations. You shall [not] offer strange incense [on it,] nor [a] burnt sacrifice, nor a meat offering. Neither shall you pour a drink offering [on it.]

Aaron shall make an atonement upon [its] horns once [a] year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements. Once [a] year he shall make atonement upon it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.

Then, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, When you take the [census] of the children [people] of Israel [for] their number, then every man shall give a ransom for [himself] to the Lord, when you [number] them, [so] there [won’t] be [any] plague among them.

Everyone from 20 years & above [who goes] among them & is numbered [in the census] should give: ½ a shekel, [according to] the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is 20 gerahs). The ½ shekel shall be an offering to the Lord.

The rich shall not give more & the poor shall not give less than ½ a shekel, when they give an offering to the Lord, to make atonement for your souls. You shall take the atonement money of the children [people] of Israel & [it] shall [be] appointed for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

[So,] that it may be a memorial [for] the children of Israel before the Lord, to make atonement for your souls. The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, You shall also make a [basin] & a base both of brass [for washing.]

You shall put it between the tabernacle of the congregation & the altar & you shall put water in it, [so] Aaron & his sons [can] wash their hands & feet [there] & shall wash with water when they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, [so] that they [won’t] die, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made of fire to the Lord.

It shall be a statute forever to them, to him [Aaron] & his [descendants] throughout their generations. [Also,] the Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying: Take for [yourselves quality] spices: 500 shekels of pure myrrh, 1/2 [that amount,] even 250 shekels of sweet cinnamon, 250 shekels sweet [sugar cane,] 500 shekels of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary & a hin of olive oil.

You shall make [from these] a holy anointing oil, an ointment compound according to the art of the apothecary, [who makes compounds.] It shall be a holy anointing oil & you shall anoint the tabernacle of the congregation & the Ark of the Testimony, the table & all [its] vessels & the candlestick & [its] vessels & the altar of incense.

The altar of burnt offering with all [its] vessels & the [basin] & [its] [base.] You shall sanctify them, [so] they may be most holy & [whatever] touches them [must] be holy. You shall anoint Aaron & his sons & consecrate them, [so] they may [serve] Me in the priest’s office.

You shall [tell] the children of Israel, saying, This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, nor shall you make any other like it & [its] composition of [ingredients] for it is holy & it shall be holy to you.

Whoever [makes] any [compounds] like it or [puts] any of it on a stranger, shall [be] cut off from his people. The Lord said to Moses: Take sweet spices: stacte & onycha, galbanum & pure frankincense with these sweet spices. Each shall be of [equal] weight.

You shall make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, [sprinkled] together, pure & holy. And you shall beat some of it very small & put some of it before the Testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation where I will meet with you.

It shall be most holy. [But] as for the perfume [that] you shall make, you shall not make [any for] yourselves, according to [its] composition. To you, it shall be holy for the Lord. [Whoever makes any] like [it,] to smell [it,] shall be cut off from his people.

Exodus 29:1-46 The Consecration of Aaron & His Sons as Priests

The Consecration of Aaron & His Sons as Priests

Exodus 29:1-46            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

[The Lord said this to Moses: This is [what] you shall do to [Aaron & his sons] to hallow them to [serve] Me as priests: Take 1 young [bull] & 2 rams without blemish & unleavened bread, unleavened cakes [mixed] with oil & unleavened wafers anointed with oil. You shall make them [of wheat] flour.

You shall put them into 1 basket & bring them in the basket with the [bull] & the 2 rams. You shall bring Aaron & his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation & you shall wash them with water.

Then, you shall take the garments & put on Aaron the coat & the [blue] robe of the ephod & [then] the ephod [decorative vestment usually worn by the high priest] & the breastplate & gird them with the girdle [intricately woven band of the ephod.]

You shall put the [turban] on his [Aaron’s] head & put the holy crown [& a carved gold plate] on the [turban.] You shall take the anointing oil & pour it on his head & anoint him. Then you shall bring [Aaron’s] sons & put coats upon them & gird them with girdles. And put their [hats] on Aaron & his sons.

The priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute & you shall consecrate Aaron & his sons. You shall also have the [bull] brought before the tabernacle of the congregation & Aaron & his sons shall put their hands on the head of the [bull] & shall kill the [bull] before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

You shall take some of the [bull’s] blood with your finger & put it on the horns of the altar & pour all the [rest of the] blood beside the bottom of the altar. You shall take all the fat that covers the [intestines,] the [fatty flap] above the liver & the 2  kidneys & the fat on them & burn them on the altar.

But the flesh of the [bull] & its skin & [its remains,] you shall burn them with fire [outside] the camp. It is a sin offering. You shall also take 1 ram & Aaron & his sons shall put their hands on its head & [kill] the ram. You shall take [its] blood & sprinkle it [all around] the altar.

You shall cut the ram in pieces & wash [its guts] & legs & put them with its pieces & its head & the whole ram shall be burned on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord; it is a sweet [aroma,] an offering made by fire to the Lord.

You shall take the other ram & Aaron & his sons shall put their hands on its head & kill the ram & take some of [its] blood & put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear & the tips of his son’s right ears & also on the thumb of their right hand & big toe of their right foot [of all of them] & sprinkle the blood [all around] on the altar.

You shall take [some] of the blood that is on the altar & [some] of the anointing oil & sprinkle it on Aaron & his sons & [their] garments, so they & their garments are hallowed, [just like they are.]

Also take [some] of the fat of the ram & the rump, the fat that covers the [intestines,] the [guts,] the [fatty flap] above the liver, the 2 kidneys & the fat on them, the right shoulder (for it is a ram of consecration), 1 loaf of bread, 1 cake [made with] oil & 1 wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord.

And you shall put [these] in the hands of Aaron & his sons & shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. You shall receive them from their hands & burn them upon the altar as a burnt offering, for a sweet [aroma] before the Lord.

It is an offering made by fire to the Lord. And you shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron’s consecration & wave it for a wave offering before the Lord & it shall be your [portion.]

You shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, that is waved & the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved & heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of that [portion] which is for Aaron & his sons. For it is a heave offering & it shall be a heave offering from the children [people] of Israel for Aaron & his sons by statute forever, from the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering to the Lord.

The holy garments of Aaron’s shall be his sons’ after him, to be anointed & consecrated in them. That son who becomes priest in [Aaron’s place] shall put them on for 7 days, when he comes into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the Holy Place [sanctuary.]

You shall take the ram of the consecration & [boil] its flesh in the Holy Place. Aaron & his sons shall eat the [cooked] flesh of the ram & the bread that is in the basket by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

They shall eat those things [used to make] the atonement, to consecrate [them] & to sanctify them; but a stranger shall not eat [them,] because they are holy. If [any] of the flesh of the consecrations, or the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder of it with fire.

It shall not be eaten, because it is holy. You shall do [this] to Aaron & his sons, according to all I have commanded you. 7 days you shall consecrate them. You shall offer a [bull] every day for a sin offering for atonement & you shall cleanse the altar when you [make] an atonement for it & you shall anoint it [the altar] to sanctify it.

7 days you shall make an atonement for the altar & sanctify it. [The] altar shall be most holy & [whatever] touches the altar [must] be holy. Now, this is what you shall offer on the altar: 2 lambs of the 1st year, day by day continually. [Offer] 1 lamb in the morning & you shall offer 1 lamb at [twilight.]

[Along with each] lamb shall be offered 1/10 of an [ephah] of flour mixed with ¼ of a hin of [pressed] oil & ¼ of a hin of wine for a drink offering. The other lamb that you offer at [twilight,] shall be done according to the meat offering of the morning, the drink offering [there,] for a sweet [aroma,] an offering made by fire to the Lord.

This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak with you [there.]

And there I will meet with the children [people] of Israel & the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory & I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation & the altar. I will also sanctify both Aaron & his sons, to [serve] Me in the priest’s office.

I will dwell among the children of Israel & will be their God & they shall know that I am the Lord, their God, [Who] brought them [up] out of the land of Egypt, [so] that I may dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.

Exodus 28:1-43 Making Garments for the Priests- by the Lord God’s Intelligent Design

Making Garments for the Priests- by the Lord God’s Intelligent Design

Exodus 28:1-43            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

[The Lord God told this to Moses:] Take Aaron, your brother & his sons: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar & Ithamar from among the children [people] of Israel [so that] they may minister to Me in the priest’s office.

You shall make holy garments for Aaron for glory & beauty & you shall speak to all who are wise [skillful artists,] whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, [so]  that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, [so] that he may minister to Me in the priest’s office.

These are the garments they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod [decorative vestment usually worn by a high priest,] a robe, an [embroidered] coat, a [turban] & a girdle [sash.] They shall make holy garments for Aaron & his sons, [so] that he may minister to Me in the priest’s office.

[They shall use:] gold, blue, purple, scarlet & fine linen. They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen with [skillful artistic] work. It shall have 2 shoulder pieces joined at [its] 2 edges, so it [can] be joined together. The [intricately woven sash] on it shall be [made] of the same [items & workmanship,] even of gold, blue, purple, scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen.

With the work of an engraver of stone, like the engravings of a signet [ring,] you shall take 2 onyx stones & [carve] them with the names of the [12] children of Israel in the order of their birth, 6 of the names [carved] on the 1 stone & 6 on the other & they will put them into [settings] of gold.

And you shall put the 2 stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial [for] the [12] children of Israel [a.k.a. Jacob.] And Aaron shall [carry] their names before the Lord upon his 2 shoulders for a memorial.

You shall also make [settings] of gold & make 2 chains of pure gold [like twisted gold cords that are to be] fastened to the [settings.]

You shall make a breastplate of judgment with [skillful artistic work similar to] the work of the ephod & it shall be made of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen that shall be doubled into a square & the length & [width will both] be a span. You shall [put] settings of stones in it in 4 rows.

The 1st row shall [have] a [ruby,] topaz & [red garnet.] The 2nd row shall [have] an emerald, sapphire & a diamond. The 3rd row a [Lapis Lazuli,] agate & amethyst & the 4th row a [yellow jasper,] onyx & jasper which shall [all] be in gold [settings.]

[Each] of the stones shall be [carved,] like the engraving of a signet [ring] with a different name of the 12 sons of Israel according to the 12 tribes. You shall make 2 chains for the breastplate at the end [like twisted gold cords,] chains of pure gold & [make] 2 rings of gold to put on the ends of the breastplate.

The 2 [other] ends of [twisted] chains of gold shall be put in the 2 rings on the ends of the breastplate & the other 2 ends of the 2 [braided] chains shall be fastened to the 2 [settings] & put them on the shoulders on the [front] of the ephod.

You shall make 2 other rings of gold that go on the 2 [inside edges] of the ephod & 2 other rings of gold will be put [underneath] the 2 shoulder straps right at [its seam] toward the ephod’s front, but above the [intricately woven] girdle of the ephod.

They shall bind the breastplate by means of its rings to the rings of the ephod with blue [cord] above the [intricately woven] girdle of the ephod, so that the breastplate [doesn’t come] loose from the ephod.

Aaron shall bear the name of the sons of Israel [over] his heart on the breastplate of judgment, when he goes into the holy place, [as] a memorial before the Lord continually.

And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment, the Urim & Thummim [the Lights & the Perfections] & they shall be [over] Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before the Lord. And Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel [over] his heart before the Lord continually.

You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue & there shall be an [opening for his head] in the middle of it with [woven] binding around the opening [like the opening in a coat of mail,] so that it [doesn't tear.]

Upon the hem [of the robe] you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple & scarlet & [all around] the hem & it [shall have] a golden bell & a pomegranate [pattern] [all around] the hem of the garment.

It shall be on Aaron [when he ministers] & the sound [will] be heard when he [goes] into the Holy Place before the Lord & when he comes out, [so] that he doesn’t die. You shall make a plate of pure gold & have it [carved] like a signet [ring:] HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

You shall put it on a blue lace [cord, so] it may be on the [front] of the [turban] on Aaron’s [forehead, so] that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children [people] of Israel shall hallow [of] all their holy gifts & it shall always be on his forehead, [so] that they may be accepted before the Lord.

You shall embroider the coat & the [turban] of fine linen & you shall make the girdle of needlework. For Aaron’s sons you shall make [linen tunics] & girdles for them & [hats] for them, for glory & beauty. You shall put them on Aaron, your brother & his sons with him.

You [Moses] shall anoint them, consecrate them & sanctify them, [so] they may [serve] Me in the priest’s office. And you shall make for them linen [trousers] that reach from the [waist] to the thighs to cover their nakedness [bare flesh under the robe.]

They shall be on Aaron & his sons when they come into the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near the altar to minister in the holy place, [so] that they don’t bear [any] iniquity & die. It shall be a statute to him & his [descendants] after him.

You shall make [poles] to be put into the rings on the 2 sides of the altar to [carry] it & should be made of shittim wood & [overlaid] with brass.

You shall make [the altar] hollow with boards, as it was shown to you on the Mount, they make it [like this.] [Exodus 26:30 and you shall [raise] up the tabernacle according to the fashion [of it that was shown to] you in the Mount [Horeb, a.k.a. Mount Sinai.]

You shall make the [courtyard] of the tabernacle. There shall be hangings for the court on the South & North sides made of fine [woven] linen for [each] side, 100 cubits long for one side. Exodus 26:1-37 How to Make the Tabernacle of the Lord- by the Lord God’s Intelligent Design

How to Make the Tabernacle of the Lord- by the Lord God’s Intelligent Design

Exodus 26:1-37            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

[Also,] you shall make 10 curtains for the tabernacle made of fine [woven] linen & blue, purple & scarlet thread with [artistic designs] of cherubim [angels] [woven] into [each] of the ten 28 x 4 cubit curtains. 5 curtains shall be coupled to one another [just as] the other 5 curtains [are] coupled to one another.

You shall make 50 loops of blue on the edge of [each] of the 2 sets of curtains, so they may be [hooked] to one another & coupled with 50 [hooks] of gold, on the [outermost] edge, [so] that it may be one tabernacle. You shall also make 11 curtains of goat’s hair [each] 30 x 4 cubits to be a [tent like] covering over the tabernacle.

5 curtains shall be coupled by themselves & the [other] 6 curtains by themselves & you shall double over the 6th curtain at the forefront of the tabernacle. You shall make 50 loops on the outermost edge of [each] of the 2 sets of curtains, [so] that the edge of 1 curtain [is] coupled [together to] the 2nd. You shall make 50 brass [hooks] put into the loops, so that it may be one.

The ½ curtain remnant that remains, shall hang over the back side of the tabernacle. There will be 1 cubit on [both] sides that remains [of] the length of the tent curtains & it shall hang over [either of the 2] sides of the tabernacle to cover it. You shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red & a covering above [that] of badger skins.

The boards for the tabernacle shall be [upright] of 10 x 1½  cubits for [each] board made of shittim wood. [All the] boards shall have 2 tenons, set in order, one against another, [for binding one to another.] You shall make all the boards of the tabernacle [like this.]

On the north & south sides of the tabernacle, you shall make for [each] of the 20 boards, with 40 sockets of silver under them: 2 sockets under [each] board for [its] 2 tenons. For the far, westward side you shall make 6 boards & 2 boards for [each of] the 2 back corners of the tabernacle on the 2 sides. They shall be coupled together beneath & above the [top] of it into 1 ring.

Both shall be [like this.] They shall be for [both] of them for the 2 corners. [So, there] shall be 8 boards [with] 16 sockets of silver- 2 sockets under [each] of the boards. You shall make 5 [cross] bars of shittim wood for 1 side of the tabernacle. And 5 [cross] bars for the other side of the tabernacle & 5 [cross] bars for the boards, for the 2 [westward] sides of the tabernacle.

And the middle bar shall pass through the midst of the boards [horizontally] from [end to end.] You shall [overlay all] the boards with gold & make their rings of gold for places for the bars [to be inserted] & [overlay] the bars with gold. You shall [raise] up the tabernacle by the pattern you were shown on the mountain.

You shall make a [veil woven] of blue, purple & scarlet thread & fine [woven] linen of [skillful] work. It shall be [woven] with an [artistic design] with cherubim [angels.] You shall hang it [veil] upon the 4 pillars of shittim wood [overlaid] with gold.

Their hooks shall be gold upon the 4 sockets of silver & the veil shall be [hung] from the [hooks.] [Then,] you shall bring the Ark of the Testimony [in there, within] the veil. The veil shall be [a divider] for you between the Holy Place & the Most Holy. And you shall put the mercy seat upon the Ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.

You shall set the table [outside] the veil & the candlestick [next to] the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south & you shall put the table on the north side.

You shall make a hanging [screen] for the door of the tent [woven] of blue, purple & scarlet thread & fine [woven] linen [made] with needlework. You shall make for the hanging [screen,] 5 pillars of shittim wood [overlaid] with gold with gold hooks & you shall cast 5 sockets of brass for them.

The Lord God Tells Moses Which Things Are to be Made for the Tabernacle

Exodus 25:1-40            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, [so] every man [who brings] Me an offering: [from those who] give it willingly [of] his heart.

This is the offering which you shall take [from] them: gold, silver, brass; blue, purple & scarlet [thread]; fine linen & goat’s hair, ram skins dyed red, [badger] skins & shittim wood; oil for the light & spices for the anointing oil & for sweet incense;

… onyx stones & stones to be set in the ephod [decorative vestment for the high priest] & in the breastplate. Let them make Me a sanctuary, [so] that I may dwell among them. You shall make the tabernacle & all [its instruments] according to the pattern that I will show you.

They shall make an ark of shittim wood 2 1⁄2 cubits [long] x 1 1⁄2 cubits [wide] x 1½ cubits [high] & you shall overlay it with pure gold [inside & outside] & make gold [moulding] all around.

You shall cast 4 gold rings to put [1 in each corner] & you will make [poles] of shittim wood, [overlaid] with gold. And you shall [insert the poles] into the rings [on] the sides of the ark, [so] that the ark might be [carried by] them.

The [poles] shall [stay] in the rings of the ark & shall not be taken from it. You shall put into the ark, the Testimony [2 tablets with 10 commandments & laws,] which I shall give you. You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold 2 ½ [long] x 1 1⁄2 cubits [wide] & shall make 2 cherubim [angels] of [hammered] gold & put them on [opposite] ends of the mercy seat, [facing each other.]

The cherubim shall stretch their wings [out] on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings. [After] you put the Testimony that I give you, in the ark, the mercy seat [goes on top] of the ark. I will meet with you there & I will [speak] with you from above the mercy seat, between the 2 cherubims,

…which are on the Ark of the Testimony, [with] all the things & commandments I will give you [for] the children of Israel. You shall also make a table of shittim wood: 2 cubits [long] x 1 cubit [wide] x 1 1⁄2 cubits [high, overlaid] with pure gold & a gold [moulding around it.] You shall make the border a hand [wide] with a gold [moulding] on the border.

You shall make 4 rings of gold for the [poles] to [carry] the table & put the rings in the 4 corners [by] the 4 [legs of the table.] The [poles to carry] the table shall be made of shittim wood & [overlaid] with gold. [Its] dishes, spoons, covers & [sacrificial] bowls to cover them, shall be made of pure gold.

You shall set the [showbread] on the table before Me always. You shall make a pure gold candlestick of 1 piece of [hammered] work & [its] shaft, branches, bowls, knops [decorations like almonds] & flowers, shall be [made] of the same.

And 6 branches shall [extend] out of [its] sides, 3 branches of the candlestick on 1 side & 3 branches of the candlestick on the other side, [each with] 3 bowls made like almonds, a knop & a flower [on] 1 branch & 3 bowls made like almonds, a knop & a flower [for] each of the 6 branches that [extend] out of the candlestick.

And [on] the candlestick, shall be four bowls made [similar to] almonds, with their knops & their flowers. There shall be a knop, under each [pair of identical] branches, a knop under the [2nd pair of] branches & a knop under the [3rd pair of] branches, that [extend] out of the candlestick.

Their knops & branches [of the candlestick] shall [all be 1 piece with it] of the pure gold, [hammered] work. You shall make 7 lamps [for it] & they shall light the lamps [for the lampstand, so] they give light, over [next] to it.

Its tongs & snuff dishes [for it] shall be of pure gold. [With] a talent of gold, he shall make it, with all these vessels. Look that you make them [according] to their pattern, [that] was [shown] to you on the mountain.

[Exodus 39:43 And Moses [looked] upon all the work & [saw,] they had done it, [like] the Lord had commanded & had even done so & Moses blessed them.]
