About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Proverbs 26:1-28 About Dealing with Fools

About Dealing with Fools

Proverbs 26:1-28                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

[Like] snow in [the] summer & rain in harvest [time, it’s also not appropriate] for a fool [to have] honor. [Like] the bird by wandering & a swallow by flying, so [is a] curse [without a reason that] shall not [happen.]

A whip [is] for the horse, a bridle for the [donkey] & a rod for the fool's back. [Don't] answer a fool according to his [foolishness,] lest you also [become similar] to him. [If you] answer a fool according to his [foolishness,] he [becomes] wise in his [thinking he's better than others.]

He, [who sends] a message by a fool [is like] [cutting] off the feet [of someone who] drinks [& puts up with the] damage [later.] The legs of the lame aren't [of] equal [size,] so is a parable [not the same from] the mouth of fools.

[The person, who] gives honor to a fool [is like] he, [who ties up] a stone in a sling. A parable in the mouth of fools [is like] [the exaggerated tale of] a thorn [going] into the hand of a drunkard.

The Great God, [Who] formed all things, [rewards] both the fool & the [sinners.] [Like] a dog returns to his vomit, so [is] a fool, [who repeats his lack of good judgment.] [Do] you [see] a man wise in his own conceit, [thinking he's better than others?] There is more hope [for] a fool than [for] him.

The [lazy] man [says, I can't go to work, because] there is a lion in the [road;] a  lion is in the streets. [Like] a door turns on [its] hinges, so [do the lazy turn] upon his bed. The [lazy hides] his hand in his [chest,] [as if he is wounded & can't work] & it grieves him to bring [his arm] again to his mouth.

The [lazy person] is wiser in his own [eyes] than 7 men [who can’t give] a reason [for him to work.] He [who passes] by & [interferes in an argument that isn't his,] is like [someone, who] takes a dog by the ears. [Like] a mad man, who [throws branding irons] & arrows [that cause] death,

[The same] is the man, [who] deceives his neighbor & says, [Aren't I just joking?] [Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish [talk,] nor jesting, which aren’t [beneficial, but [instead,] giving thanks.]

Where no wood is, the fire goes out there: so where there is no [gossip or slanderer,] the [arguments] cease. [Like a coal's embers are needed to start the] coals burning & wood [is needed to start a] fire, so is [an argumentative] man [needed] to [start quarrels.]

The words of a [gossip] are [like] wounds & they go down to the innermost parts of the [body.] Lips burning [to tell something] & a wicked heart are like [a broken shard of pottery] covered with [the scum from] silver.

He, [who] hates [& disguises it] with [what] his lips [say] & [stores] up deceit within him; [but] when he speaks [honestly, they don't] believe him. For there are 7 abominations [he previously did, but wasn't truthful about, that are still hidden within] his heart.

The wickedness [of the person] shall be [shown] before the whole congregation & whose hatred is [hidden] by deceit. [Whoever digs] a pit, shall fall [into it] & he, [who] rolls a stone [over the pit,] it will [roll back] upon him. [A person with] a lying tongue hates those, [who] are afflicted by it & a flattering mouth [causes] ruin.

Proverbs 25:1-28 Solomon's Proverbs that King Hezekiah had Copied Down

Solomon's Proverbs that King Hezekiah had Copied Down

Proverbs 25:1-28                  Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

These also are [Solomon's] proverbs, [that] the men of king Hezekiah of Judah copied [down.] It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; but the honor of kings is to [investigate] a matter.

The heaven, [because of its] height & the earth for [its] depth & [also] the [hearts] of kings [are] unsearchable. Take the [scum] away from the silver & a vessel for the [refiner] shall come forth.

[Zechariah 13:9 And I will bring 1/3 through the fire & will refine them [like] silver is refined & will [test] them [like] gold is [tested.] They shall call on My Name & I will hear them. I will say, It is My people & they shall say, The Lord is my God.]

Take away the wicked [from in front of] the king & his throne shall be established in righteousness. [Don't put] yourself in the presence of the king & [don't] stand in the place [of honor for] great men. It is [far] better that [it's] said to you, Come up [here;] than [for] you to be put [into a] lower [place] in the presence of the prince, whom you have seen.

[Don't jump quickly into an argument,] lest you [don't] know what to do when your neighbor puts you to shame, in the end [of it.] Debate your cause [only] with your neighbor, himself & [don't disclose this] secret to another, lest the [person who] hears it [puts] you to shame & your [bad reputation doesn't go] away.

A word spoken [appropriately,] is like apples of gold in silver [containers.] [Sharing disapproval wisely to] an obedient ear [is like] an earring of gold & an ornament of fine gold.

A faithful messenger is [similar to how refreshing] the cold snow [would feel] in harvest time to [those who] sent him: for he refreshes the soul of his masters. [Whoever] boasts [about] a false gift is like clouds & wind without [any] rain.

[After holding back a] long [time,] a prince is persuaded & a [gentle, persuasive] tongue breaks [down] a bone. Have you found honey? Eat [only as] much as is sufficient for you, lest you be filled [with it] & vomit it [up.]

Withdraw [yourself] from your neighbor's house; lest he becomes [tired] of you & [also hates] you. A man, [who says false things] against his neighbor is [like a club,] sword & sharp arrow [that can cause you harm.]

Confidence in an unfaithful man in [times] of trouble, is like a broken tooth & a [dislocated] foot. The [person, who takes] away a coat [from someone] in cold weather is [like] vinegar upon [a wound & the same] is he [who sings a sad] song to [someone with a] heavy heart.

If your enemy [is] hungry, give him bread to eat & if [he's] thirsty, give him water to drink: for you shall heap [up kindnesses, like] coals [for a] fire, [that long afterward, shall still be] on his [mind] & the Lord shall reward you.

[Luke 14:13-14 But when you make a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame & the blind. And you shall be blessed for they can't [repay] you, for you shall be [repaid] at the resurrection of the just.]

An angry [face & a gossiping] tongue drives [people away like] the north wind drives away rain. It is better to [live] in the corner of the [roof top] than [to live] in a [big] house with [an argumentative] woman.

[Like] cold [water is] to a thirsty [body,] so is good news from a [distant] country. A righteous man falling down before the wicked is [like] a [cloudy, stagnate spring & a polluted well.]

It's not good to eat [too] much honey; [it’s also not good] for men to [seek] their own glory, [which] isn't glory. He, [who has no control] over his own spirit, is like a broken down city, without walls.

Proverbs 24:1-34 Tips About Evil, False Witnesses & Knowledge

Tips About Evil, False Witnesses & Knowledge

Proverbs 24:1-34                                    Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

[Don’t] be envious [of] evil men & [don’t] desire to be with them. For their heart [plans violence] & their lips talk of [trouble.]

A house is [built] through wisdom & it is established by understanding. And by knowledge [its rooms] shall be filled with all precious & pleasant riches. A wise man is strong. [Yes,] a man of knowledge increases strength.

By wise [advice] you shall [decide to] make war & [with] a multitude of counselors, there is safety. Wisdom is too [lofty] for a fool: he [doesn’t] open his mouth [at] the gate. He [who plots] to do evil shall be called a person [who causes harm.]

[Isaiah 14:22 Don’t [those who] devise evil [go astray?] But mercy & truth shall be [for those who] devise good.] The thought of [what is foolish] is sin & [those who look down on others] is an abomination to men.

If you faint [on] the day of [trouble,] your strength is [weak.] If you [refuse] to deliver [those who are scheduled for] death & [those who] are ready to be [killed] & if you [say, Look] we [didn’t know] it; doesn’t [the Lord God, Who] considers the heart, [realize] it?

[Doesn’t] He, [Who] keeps your soul know it? [Shouldn’t] He [give] to every man according to his [deeds?] [Revelation 22:12-13 And, watch, I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [to] his [deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.]

My son, eat honey, because it is good & the honeycomb is sweet to taste. So, [the same] shall be the knowledge of wisdom to your soul. When you have found it, then there shall be a reward & your [hope] shall not be cut off.

O wicked man [don’t] lay [in] wait against the dwelling [to ambush] the righteous. [Don’t plunder] his place [he rests.] For a just man [falls] 7 times & [rises] up again: but the wicked shall fall into [trouble.]

[Don’t] rejoice when your enemy falls & [don’t] let your heart be glad when he [stumbles:] lest the Lord [sees] it & it [displeases] Him & He [turns] His [anger] away from him [to you.]

[Don’t worry] yourself, because of evil men & neither [shall] you be envious [of] the wicked. For there shall be no reward to the evil man. The candle of the wicked shall be put out.

My son, fear [respect] the Lord & the king. [Don’t get involved] with [those who] are given to change: for their [distress] shall [arise] suddenly & who knows the ruin of them both? These [sayings] also belong to the wise.

It isn’t good to [show partiality to people] in judgment. He, [who says] to the wicked, You are righteous: the people shall curse him & the nations shall [loathe] him. But to [those who scold] him, shall be delight & a good blessing shall come upon them.

Every man shall kiss [the lips] that give [the] right answer. Prepare your work [outside] & make the field [in good condition] for yourself & afterward build your house.

[Don’t] be a witness against your neighbor without [a reason] & [don’t] deceive [others] with your lips. [Don’t] say, I will do to him [just] as he [has] done to me. I will [give] to the man, according to his [deeds.]

[Romans 12:17-18 [Don’t repay any] man evil for evil [done.] Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it [is] possible, as much as you [are able,] live [peacefully] with all men.]

I went by the field of the [lazy] & the vineyard of the man [without] understanding & [saw] it was all grown over with thorns & [stickers] had covered [its surface] & [its] stone wall was broken down.

Then, I saw & [thoroughly] considered it & I looked upon it & received instruction. [Still,] a little [more] sleep, a little [more] slumber & a little [of] folding hands to [rest: so] shall your poverty come [upon you] [like a prowler, who] travels [to get away] & you [are wanted like] an armed man.

Proverbs 23:1-35 Tips About Eating, Wisdom & the Rich

Tips About Eating, Wisdom & the Rich

Proverbs 23:1-35                                   Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

When you [sit] to eat with a ruler, [thoroughly] consider what is [set] before you & [put] a knife to your throat, if you're a man given to [a large] appetite. [Don’t] be desirous of his [delicacies:] for they are deceitful [food.]

[Don’t] cease from your own wisdom & [don’t work] to be rich. [Will] you set your eyes on [something that doesn’t exist?] For riches certainly make themselves wings & they fly away [like] an eagle toward heaven.

[Don’t] eat the bread of him, [who has] an evil eye, neither desire his dainty [foods.] For he is [like what] he thinks in his heart. He [says] to you, Eat & drink, but his heart isn’t with you. You shall vomit up the morsel you have eaten & lose your [pleasant] words.

[Don’t] speak in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of your words. [Don’t] remove old [boundary landmarks] & [don’t] enter into the fields of the fatherless: for their Redeemer is mighty. He shall plead their [case] with you.

Apply your heart to instruction & your ears to the words of knowledge. [Don’t] withhold correction from the child: for if you beat him with the rod, he shall not die. You shall beat him with the rod & shall deliver his soul from hell.

My son, if your heart [is] wise, even my [own] heart shall rejoice. [Yes,] my [heart strings] shall rejoice when your lips speak [righteous] things. [Don’t] let your heart envy sinners: but be in fear [respect] of the Lord [God] all day long. For surely there is [a hereafter] & your [hope] shall not be cut off.

My son, hear & be wise & guide your heart in the [right path.] [Don’t] be among [alcoholics or gluttonous] eaters of [meat:] for the drunkard & the glutton shall come to poverty & drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

[Listen] to your father, [who begot] you & [don’t] despise your mother when she is old. Buy the truth, also wisdom, instruction & understanding & [don’t] sell [them.]

[Matthew 13:44 Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is [similar to] treasure [hidden] in a field. [And] when a man has found [it,] he hides [it] & for the joy [of it, he] goes & sells all he has & buys that field.]

The father of the righteous shall rejoice greatly & he, [who fathers] a wise child shall [delight in] him. Your father & your mother shall be glad & she, [who gave birth to] you shall rejoice.

Give me your heart, my son & let your eyes observe my ways. For [an unfaithful harlot] is a deep ditch & a [seductress] is a narrow pit. [Psalm 30:3 O Lord, You have brought up my soul from the grave. You have kept me alive, [so] that I [wouldn't] go down to the pit.]

Also, she lies in wait [like waiting] for prey & she increases the [unfaithful] men. Who has [sadness?] Who has sorrow? Who has [disputes?] Who [chatters senselessly?] Who has [been wounded] without a [reason?] Who has [red] eyes? [It is] [those who stay] long [with] wine & [those who seek mixed drinks.]

[Don’t] look upon the wine when it is red, when it [sparkles] in the cup, when it moves [around.] At [the end] it [bites] like a [snake] & stings like a [cobra.] Your eyes shall [see foreign] women & your heart shall utter [deceitful] things.

[Yes,] you shall be [woozy,] [like] he [who] lies down in the midst of the sea, or he [who lies] upon the top of [the] mast. You shall say, They have [struck] me & I wasn’t [hurt.] They have beaten me & I [didn’t feel] it. When shall I [wake up?] I shall [still] seek [alcohol] again.

Proverbs 22:1-29 Proverbs About the Wise, the Foolish & the Oppressed

Proverbs About the Wise, the Foolish & the Oppressed

Proverbs 22:1-29                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

A good name [a.k.a. reputation] is to be chosen, rather than great riches & loving [regard,] rather than silver or gold. The rich & poor [have this in common:] the Lord is the Maker of them all.

A [cautious] man foresees evil & hides himself: but the simple [minded continue to go] on & are punished. By humility & the fear [respect] of the Lord [God] are: riches, honor & life.

Thorns & [traps] are in the [road] of the [deceitful:] he, [who guards] his soul shall be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go & he won’t depart from it when he is old. The rich rule over the poor & the borrower is [the] servant to the lender.

[James 2:5-6 [Pay attention,] my beloved brethren, Hasn’t God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith & heirs of the Kingdom, which [the Lord God] promised to [those who] love Him? But you have despised the poor. Don’t rich men oppress you & [lead] you before the judgment seats?]

He [who plants] iniquity shall [harvest trouble] & the rod of his anger shall fail [to save him.] He, [who] has a [generous] eye, shall be blessed: for he gives of his bread to the poor.

[Throw] out [he, who thinks he is better than others] & the [dispute] shall go out & [yes] the [quarrel & ridicule] shall [stop.] He [who] loves pureness of heart, the king shall be his friend, [because of] the grace of his lips.

The [Lord’] eyes preserve knowledge & He overthrows the words of the [faithless.] The [lazy] man says, [I can’t work, because:] there is a lion [outside,] I shall be [killed] in the streets.

The mouth of a [seductress] is a deep pit: he, [who is loathed by] the Lord shall fall [into the pit.] Foolishness is [tied within] the heart of a child; but the rod [used for] correction shall drive [foolishness] far from him.

He [who oppresses] the poor, to increase his [wealth] & he [who gives] to the rich, shall surely come to [poverty.] [Lean] down your ear & hear the words of the wise & apply your heart to My knowledge.

For it is a pleasant thing if You keep [My Laws] within you; they shall [be appropriate for] your lips. [So] that your trust may be in the Lord, I have made [this] known to you this day, even to you.

Haven’t I written excellent things [as advice] & knowledge to you [so] that I might make you know the certainty of the Words of Truth, [so] that you might answer the Words of Truth to [those who] send [for] you?

[John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I Am the Way, the Truth & the Life. No man comes to the Father, [except] by Me.]

[Don’t] rob the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: for the Lord [God] will plead their [case] & will [destroy] the soul of those [who plundered] them.

[Don’t] make [a friendship] with an angry man & you [shouldn’t] go with a furious man: lest you learn his ways & [they ensnare] your soul. [Don’t] be [someone who shakes hands in a deal,] or of [those who are guarantors] for debts.

If you have nothing [with which] to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you? [Don’t] remove the ancient [boundary] landmark, [that] your [forefathers] have [put.] [Do you see] a man [who puts effort into] his business? He shall stand before kings & he shall not stand before mean men.
