About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Numbers 27:1-23 Passing on the Inheritance When There is No Son

Passing on the Inheritance When There is No Son

Numbers 27:1-23                The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

Then the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, [who was] the son of Gilead, [who was] the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh, the son of Joseph, came & their names are: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah & Tirzah.

They stood before Moses, Eleazar, the priest, the princes & all the congregation by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, Our father died in the wilderness & he [wasn’t a part of Korah’s] company [who] gathered themselves together against the Lord, but [he died of] his own sin & had no sons.

Why should the name of my father [disappear] from among his family, because he had no [sons?] Therefore, give us a possession among our [father’s] brethren. Moses brought their cause before the Lord.

And the Lord [said] to Moses, [Zelophehad’s] daughters [speak correctly.] You shall surely give them a possession [for] an inheritance among their father’s brethren. You shall cause their father’s inheritance to pass on to them.

You shall [say] to the children [people] of Israel, saying, If a man [dies] & doesn’t have a son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter. If he [doesn’t] have a daughter, you shall give his inheritance to his [father’s] brethren.

If he [doesn’t have any] brethren, you shall give it to his next [of kin] of his family & he shall possess it. It shall be a [mandate] of judgment [for] the children [people] of Israel, as the Lord commanded Moses.

The Lord [said] to Moses, [Go] up to Mount Abarim & see the land which I have given to the children [people] of Israel. And when you have seen it, you will also be gathered to your people [in death, like] Aaron, your brother was.

For you [both] rebelled against My [command] in the Desert of Zin, when the congregation [quarreled] & you failed to sanctify Me, at the [waters] of Meribah, in Kadesh, before their eyes.

Moses [spoke] to the Lord, saying, Let the Lord God, [Who gives breath to] all flesh, set a man over the congregation, [who] may go out before them & may go in before them & [leads] them out & [brings] them in, [so] the congregation of the Lord [won’t be like] sheep [without a] shepherd.

The Lord [said] to Moses, Take Joshua, [Nun’s] son, a man in whom is the Spirit & lay your hand upon him. [Put] him before Eleazar, the priest & before all the congregation & [put] him [in] charge in their sight.

You shall put some of your honor [authority] upon him, so all the congregation of the [people] of Israel, may [obey him.] He shall stand before Eleazar, the priest, who shall ask  counsel for him, [related to] the judgment of the Urim before the Lord.

At [Joshua’s] word, they shall go out & at his word, they shall come in, both he & even all the children [people] of Israel & [the whole] congregation with him.

Moses did as the Lord commanded him & took Joshua & set him before Eleazar, the priest & before all the congregation. [Moses] laid his hands upon [Joshua] & [put] him [in] charge, as the Lord commanded, by the hand of Moses.

Numbers 25:1-18 Israel’s Plague for Worshiping Idols

Israel’s Plague for Worshiping Idols

Numbers 25:1-18        The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

Israel [stayed] in Shittim & the people began to commit [unfaithful harlotry] with the daughters of Moab. They called the people to the sacrifices of their gods. [Exodus 20:3-4 You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make [for yourselves] anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.]

And the people [of Israel] did eat & bowed down to their gods.

Israel joined themselves with Baal Peor & the anger of the Lord [grew] against Israel. [Exodus 20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them. For I, the Lord, your God, Am a jealous God, visiting the [sin] of the fathers upon the children [until] the 4th generation of [those who] hate Me.]

The Lord said to Moses, Take all the heads of the people & hang them up [in] the sun before the Lord, [so] the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel. [Deuteronomy 4:3-4 Your eyes have seen what the Lord did, because of Baal Peor. For all the men [who] followed Baal Peor, the Lord your God has destroyed them from among you. But everyone of you [who held tight] to the Lord, your God, are alive [today.]

And Moses said to the judges of Israel, Everyone, [kill] his men [who] were joined to Baal Peor.

And [look, an Israelite] came & brought a [Midianite] woman in the sight of Moses & the congregation of the children [people] of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

When Phinehas, [Eleazar’s] son, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation & took a [spear] in his hand. [Phinehas] went after the man of Israel into the tent & thrust [it] through both the man of Israel & through the [woman’s stomach.]

So, the plague was [stopped] from the children [people] of Israel. [There] were 24,000 [who] died of the plague. [Psalm 106:30-31 Then, Phinehas stood up & [carried out] judgment & so the plague was [stopped.] And that was [considered] to [Phinehas] for righteousness to all generations for evermore.]

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Phinehas, [Eleazar’s] son, the son of Aaron, the priest, was zealous for My sake & has turned away My [anger] from the [people] of Israel, [so] I [didn’t] consume them in My jealousy.

[Therefore,] say, [Look,] I give to him My covenant [contract] of peace. And he & his [descendants] after him, shall have it [as a] covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God & made atonement for the [people] of Israel.

The Israelite [man who] was slain was [named] Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a [leader] among the Simeonites. And the name of the [Midianite] woman [wh was [killed] was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur, [who was] a [in charge] over a people & of a chief house in Midian. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, [Harass] the Midianites & [attack] them.

For they [harassed] you with their [enticements] & [deceived] you in the matter of Baal of Peor. And in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a Midianite prince, their sister [who] was [killed on] the day of the plague for Peor’s sake.

Numbers 24:1-25 Balaam Blesses Israel

Balaam Blesses Israel

Numbers 24:1-25                  The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

When Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord [God] to bless Israel, he [didn’t] go to seek for [an] enchantments, but he [turned] his face toward the wilderness. Balaam lifted his eyes up & saw Israel [living] in tents, according to their tribes.]

And the Spirit of God came upon [Balaam.] [Balaam] started telling [Balak,] Balaam [Beor’s] son, the man whose eyes are open, [has] said, He [who] heard the Words of God & saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open.

How [beautiful] are your [tents,] O Jacob & your tabernacles, O Israel! [Lke] the valleys are spread [out, like] gardens by the river’s side, [like] the trees of lign aloes & cedar trees, which the Lord has planted, beside the waters.

[The Lord God] shall pour the water out of His buckets & His seed shall be in many waters & His King shall be [greater] than Agag & His Kingdom shall be exalted.

[Revelation 1:5-8 And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness & the first begotten of the dead & the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him, [Who] loved us & washed us from our sins in His Own blood & has made us priests to God & His Father. To Him be glory & [power] forever & ever. Amen.

[Look,] He comes with clouds & every eye shall see Him. And also, [those who] pierced Him. And all [the families] of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. I Am [the] Alpha & Omega the Beginning & the Ending, says the Lord, [Who] is & [Who] was & [Who] is to come, the Almighty.]

God brought [them forward] out of Egypt. He has strength [like] of a [wild ox.] He shall [devour] the nations of [their] enemies & shall break their bones & pierce them through with [their] arrows. [He squatted] & he lay down [like] a lio & [like] a [large] lion. Who shall [wake] him up?

Blessed is he [who] blesses you & cursed is he [who] curses you. [King Balak’s] anger [grew] against Balaam & he [struck] his hands together. Balak said to Balaam, I called you to curse [my] enemies & you have blessed them these 3 times.

Therefore, now flee to your place. I had thought to promote you to great honor, but, [look,] the Lord has kept you from [that] honor.

Balaam said to Balak, [Didn’t I tell] your messengers you sent to me & [said,] If Balak would give me his house full of silver & gold, I can’t go beyond the [Lord’s command] to do either good or bad [on my own,] but [only to say & do] what the Lord [says.] That I will [say.]

Now, [look, I’m going back] to my people. Therefore, come & I will [tell] you what this people [of Israel] shall do to your people in the latter days.

[Balaam began speaking] & said, Balaam, [Beor’s] son, the man whose eyes are open [has] said, He [who] has heard the Words of God & [who has] knowledge [from] the Most High & [who] saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

*I shall see Him, but not now. I shall behold Him, but not [close.] There shall come a Star out of Jacob & a [royal] Scepter shall rise out of Israel & shall [strike] the corners of Moab & destroy the children [people] of Sheth.

[Matthew 2:1-2 Now, when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea [during] the days of king Herod, [look,] there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He, [Who] is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East & [have] come to worship Him.]

And Edom & Seir shall be [conquered by] his enemies. Israel shall do valiantly. *Out of Jacob, shall come He, [Who] shall have [power] & shall destroy [those] who [remain in] the city.

[Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I Am the Root & the offspring of David & the Bright Morning Star.]

When [Balaam] looked upon Amalek, [he began to speak] & said, Amalek was the 1st of the nations, but his [final] end shall be that he [perishes] forever.

[Balaam] looked on the Kenites & [began to speak] & said, Strong is your dwelling place. You put your nest in a rock. [Still] the Kenite [will be destroyed,] until Asshur [a.k.a. Ashur & Asher] shall carry you away captive.

[Balaam began to say] & said, Alas, who shall live when God does this! Ships shall come from the coast of Chittim & shall afflict Asshur & Eber & shall also perish forever. [Then,] Balaam [arose] & returned to his [home] & Balak also went [on] his way.

Numbers 23:1-30 Balak Wants Balaam to Curse the Israelites

Balak Wants Balaam to Curse the Israelites

Numbers 23:1-30                     The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

Balaam said to Balak, [Moab’s king,] Build me 7 altars here & prepare me 7 oxen & 7 rams. Balak did as Balaam [asked.] Balak & Balaam offered an ox & a ram on [each] altar. Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering & I will go. [Perhaps] the Lord will come to meet me. I will tell you [whatever] He [shows] me.

Balaam went to a high place. And [the Lord] God met Balaam & [Balaam] said to [God,] I have prepared 7 altars & offered a bull & a ram on every altar. The Lord put a word in Balaam’s mouth & said, Return to Balak & [say this to him.]

[Balaam] returned to [Balak] & he & all [Moab’s] princes stood by his burnt sacrifice. Balaam [started telling] him & said, Balak, [Moab’s] king, has brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come curse Jacob [for] me & come defy Israel.

How shall I curse, whom God hasn’t cursed? Or how shall I defy, whom God has not defied? I have seen [Israel] from the top of the rocks & from the hills. I saw [them] & the people [Israelites] shall [live] alone & shall not be [considered as] among the nations.

Who can count the dust of Jacob [a.k.a. Israel] & count 1/4 of Israel [a.k.a. Jacob]? Let me die the death of the righteous & let my [life] end like [theirs!] Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I [got] you to curse [my enemy,] but [look,] you have blessed [all of them.]

Balaam answered & said, [Shouldn’t I be careful to listen & to only] speak [what] the Lord [God] has put [into] my mouth? Balak said to him, I pray [that] you come with me to another place [where] you may see them, but  you shall see [the outer portion] of them &  shall not see them all & curse them [for] me from [there.]

[Balak] brought [Balaam] into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah & built 7 altars there & offered a bull & a ram on every altar. [Balaam] said to Balak, Stand here by your burnt offering, while I [go] meet the Lord [over there.] The Lord met Balaam & put a word in his mouth & said, Go again to Balak & say [this.]

When [Balaam] came to [Balak,] he & [Moab’s] princes stood by his burnt offering with him. Balak said to him, What has the Lord [said?] Balaam [started telling him] & said, Rise up, Balak & hear.

[Listen] to me, you son of Zippor. God is not a man, that He [would] lie & neither [is He] the son of a man, that He would [change His mind.] [Hasn’t God spoken] & [won’t] not do it? He [has said] & shall He not make it good? [1 Kings 8:56 Blessed [is] the Lord, [Who] has given rest to His people, Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised by the hand of Moses, His servant.]

[Look,] I have received [a command] to bless & [God] has blessed & I can’t reverse it. [God hasn’t seen] iniquity in Jacob or [evil] in Israel. The Lord, his God, is with [them] & the shout of a King is among them. God brought them out of Egypt. [They] have the strength of a [wild ox.]

Surely, there is no enchantment [cursed] against Jacob & neither is there any divination against Israel, [up until] this time, it shall be said of Jacob & Israel, What God has [carried out!]

[Look,] the people [of the Israelites] shall rise up [like] a great lion & lift up [themself like] a young lion. He shall not lie down until he [eats] of the prey & [drinks] the blood of the [killed]. Balak said to Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.

But Balaam answered & said to Balak, [Didn’t] I tell you, saying, All the Lord [says,] that I must do? Balak said to Balaam, I pray [that] you come to another place that I will bring you. [Perhaps] it will please [the Lord] God, [so] you may curse them [for] me from [there.]

Balak brought Balaam to the top of [Mount] Peor, that looks toward Jeshimon. Balaam said to Balak, Build me 7 altars here & prepare me 7 bulls & 7 rams. Balak did as Balaam said & offered a bull & a ram on every altar.

Numbers 22:1-41 Requesting Balaam to go see Balak, King of Moab

Requesting Balaam to go see Balak, King of Moab

Numbers 22:1-41          The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

The children [people] of Israel set forward & [pitched their tents] in the plains of Moab, on this side [of the] Jordan [River] by Jericho. Balak, [Zippor’s] son, saw all the [Israelites] had done to the Amorites.

Moab was [very] afraid & distressed because of the children [people] of Israel, because [there] were many [of them.] Moab said to [Midian’s] elders, Now this company of [Israelites] lick up all [who] are [around] us, [like] a [oxen] licks up the grass of the field.

Balak, [Zippor’s] son, was the [Moabites’s] king, at that time. [Balak] sent messengers to Balaam, [Beor’s] son, [at] Pethor, which is by the river in the land of his people, to call [Balaam.]

[They said, Look,] there is a people [who] have come out from Egypt & [see,] they cover the face of the earth & they [remain next] to me. Therefore, I pray [that] you come now & curse [these] people for me; for they are too mighty for me.

[Perhaps,] I might prevail & [defeat] them & drive them out of the land. I [know] that those you bless are blessed & [those] you curse are cursed. Moab’s & Midian’s elders left with the [payment for the diviner's curse] in their [hands.]

They came to Balaam & [told] him the words Balak [said.] [Balaam] said to them, Lodge here [tonight]  & I will bring you word again, as the Lord shall [say] to me. [Moab’s] princes [stayed] with Balaam.

The [Lord] God came to Balaam & said, [Who] are these men with you? Balaam said to God, Balak, [Zippor’s] son, [Moab’s] king, has sent to me saying, [Look,] there is a people [who] have come out of Egypt, which covers the face of the earth. Come now [&] curse them [for me.]

[Perhaps,] I will be able to overcome them & drive them out. And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them. You shall not curse the people, for they are blessed. Balaam rose up in the morning & said to [Balak’s] princes, [Go] into your land, for the Lord refuses to give me [permission] to go with you.

[Moab’s] princes rose up & went back to Balak & said, Balaam refuses to come with us. Balak sent back [even] more honorable princes & they came to Balaam. [They] said to him, Balak, [Zippor’s] son, [said,] I pray [that] you [don’t let anything interfere with] you from coming to me.

For I will promote you [with] great honor & I will do [whatever] you say to me. Therefore, I pray [that] you come [here] & curse [these] people [for] me. Balaam answered & said to [Balak’s] servants, If Balak would give me his house full of silver & gold, I can’t go beyond [doing] more or less [than] the Word of the Lord, my God.

Therefore, I now pray [that] you [stay] here [tonight, so] I may know what more the Lord will say to me. And God came to Balaam in the night & said to him, If the men come to call you, rise up & go with them; but you shall [only] do the word I shall say to you.

Balaam rose up in the morning & saddled his [mule] & went up with [Moab’s] princes. God’s anger [grew] because [Balaam] went.

And the Angel of the Lord stood in the [road as] an adversary against [Balaam.] [Balaam] was riding on his [mule] & his 2 servants were with him. The [mule] saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the [road] & his sword drawn in his hand.

The [mule] turned [away] & went into the field & Balaam [struck the mule] to turn her [back] into the [road.] But the Angel of the Lord stood in the path of the vineyards [with a] wall on [either] side.

When the [mule] saw the Angel of the Lord, she thrust herself into the wall & crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall & he [struck his mule] again. The Angel of the Lord went further & stood in a narrow place, where there was no [place] to turn either to the right or to the left.

When the [mule] saw the Angel of the Lord, she fell down [with Balaam on top of her.] Balaam’s anger [grew] & he [struck his mule] with a staff. The Lord opened the mouth of the [mule.] She said to Balaam, What have I done to you that you have [struck] me these 3 times?

Balaam said to the [mule,] Because you have mocked me. I [wish] I had a sword in [my] hand, for I would kill you now. The [mule] said to Balaam, [Aren’t] I the [same mule you’ve] ridden ever since I [became] yours until this day? [Did] I ever do [this] to you? [Balaam] said, No.

Then the Lord opened [Balaam’s] eyes & he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the [road] there, with a sword drawn in his hand. [Balaam] bowed down his head & fell flat on his face. The Angel of the Lord said to [Balaam,] [Why] have you [struck] your [mule] these 3 times?

[Look] I went to [oppose] you, because [what you are doing is wicked, in front of] me.The [mule] saw me & turned from me these 3 times. Surely, [if] she hadn’t turned from me, I would have [killed] you & saved her alive.

Balaam said to the Angel of the Lord, I have sinned, [because] I [didn’t know] that you stood in the [road] against me. Therefore, if it displeases you, I will now [return] back again. The Angel of the Lord said to Balaam, Go with the men, but you shall speak only the [words] that I say to you.

So, Balaam went with [Balak’s] princes. When Balak heard that Balaam was [there,] he went out to the city of Moab, on the border of Arnon in the [outter] coast, to meet him. Balak said to Balaam, Didn’t I earnestly send to call you?

[Why] haven’t you come to me? [Aren’t] I able to promote you to honor? And Balaam said to Balak, [Look,] I [have] come to you, [do] I have any power at all to say anything? I shall [only] speak the [words] that God puts in my mouth. And Balaam went with Balak & they came to Kirjath Huzoth.

Balak offered oxen & sheep & sent [some] to Balaam & the princes [who] were with him. It [happened the next day,] that Balak took Balaam & brought him up to the high places of Baal [so, Balaam] might see the [uttermost] part of the people [of Israel.] [Deuteronomy 12:2 You shall totally destroy all the places, [where] the nations you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, upon high hills & under every green tree.]
