About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Matthew 7:1-29 How to Treat Others

How to Treat Others

Matthew 7:1-29    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

[Don't] judge, [so] that you [aren't] judged. For with [whatever] judgment you judge, you shall [also] be judged. And with what [measurement] you [measure out,] it shall be measured to you again.

[Romans 2:1-2 Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man, [whoever] you are [who] judges. For [whatever] you [judge,] you condemn] another [which is:] yourself. For you, [who judges, do] the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth, against [those who] commit such things.]

And why [do] you [see] the [speck] that is in your brother's eye, but [don't consider] the beam that is in your own eye? Or how [will] you say to your brother, Let me pull out the [speck] out of your eye; & [look,] a beam is in your own eye?

You hypocrite, [a.k.a. someone who says one thing & does another,] 1st [throw] out the beam, out of your own eye. And then you shall see clearly to cast out the [speck] out of your brother's eye.

[Don't] give [what] is Holy to the dogs. Neither [throw] your pearls [in front of] swine, [a.k.a. pigs or hogs,] lest they trample them under their feet, & [return] again, & [tear] you.

Ask, & it shall be given to you. Seek, & you shall find. Knock, & it shall be opened to you. [Revelation 3:20-21 [See,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who] overcomes, to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne.]

For everyone, [who asks,] receives. And he, [who seeks,] finds. And to him, [who knocks,] it shall be opened. Or what man of you, is there whom if his sons [asks] [for] bread, will give him a serpent, [a.k.a. snake?] If you being evil, then know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father, [Who] is heaven, give good things to [those, who] ask Him?

Therefore, [of] all things, [whatever] you [want] that men should do to you, you [should] even do [the same] to them. For this is [from] the Law, & the prophets. You, enter in at the strait, [a.k.a. narrow,] gate.

For wide is the gate, & broad is the [path,] that leads to destruction, & there [shall] be many [who] go in [there.] Because [narrow] is the gate, & the [path] is narrow, [that] leads to life, & there [are] few, [who] find it.

Beware of false prophets, [who] come to you in sheep's clothing, but [inside] they are [ravenous] wolves. [John 10:7-11 Then, Jesus said to them again, [Very, truly,] I say to you, I Am the Door of the sheep. All, [who] ever came before Me are thieves & robbers, but the sheep didn't hear them.

I Am the Door. If any man [enters] in, he shall be saved by Me, & shall go in & out, & find pasture. The thief [only] [comes] to steal, kill, & to destroy. I [have] come, [so] that they might have life, & that they might have it more abundantly.

I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.]

You shall know them by their fruits [produced.] Do men gather grapes [among] thorns, or figs [among] thistles? Even so, every good tree [produces] good fruit; but a [rotten] tree, [produces bad] fruit. A good tree can't [produce bad] fruit, & neither can a [rotten] tree [produce] good fruit.

Every tree that [doesn't produce] good fruit is [cut] down, & [thrown] into the fire. [For this reason,] you shall know them by their fruits. Not everyone, [who] says, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven. But [only] he, [who] does the will of My Father, [Who] is in heaven.

[On] that day, many will say to Me, Lord, Lord, haven't we prophesied in Your Name? And [haven't we] cast out [demons] in Your Name? And [haven't we] done many wonderful works in Your Name?

And then, I will [declare] to them, I never knew you. Depart from Me, you, [who] work [sinfully.] Therefore, [whoever hears] these sayings of Mine, & [does] them, I will [compare] him to a wise man, [who] built his house upon a rock.

And the rain [came down,] & the floods came, & the winds blew, & beat upon that house, & it [didn't fall:] for it was founded, [a.k.a. established,] on a rock. And everyone, [who] hears these sayings of Mine, & doesn't [do] them, shall be [compared] to a house [built] upon the sand.

And the rain [came down,] & the floods came, & the winds blew, & beat upon the house & it fell. And the fall of it was great, [a.k.a. large or huge.] And it [happened,] when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching.] For He taught them [like someone] having authority, & not [like] the scribes.

Matthew 6:1-34 More of the Sermon on the Mount

More of the Sermon on the Mount

Matthew 6:1-34    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

[Pay attention] that you [don’t] do your alms, [a.k.a. charitable deeds, in front of] men, to be seen [by] them.  Otherwise, you have no reward [from] your Father, [Who] is in heaven.

Therefore, when you [do] your [charitable deeds,] don’t sound a trumpet before you, [like] the hypocrites do in the synagogues, & in the streets, [so] that they may have glory [from] men. [Truly,] I say to you, They have their reward.

But when you [do your charitable deeds,] let not your left hand know what your right hand does: [so] that your [charitable deeds] may be in secret. And your Father, [Who] sees in secret, shall Himself reward you openly.

And when you [pray,] you shall not be [like] the hypocrites are. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues & in the corners of the streets, [so] that they may be seen [by] men. [Truly,] I say to you, They have their reward.

But you, when you [pray,] enter into your closet, & when you have shut your door, which is in secret, [a.k.a. private,] pray to your Father. And your Father, [Who] sees in secret shall reward you openly.

But when you pray, [don't] use vain, [a.k.a. worthless,] repetitions, [like] the heathen do. For they think that they shall be heard, [because of] their speaking much. Therefore, [don't] you be [similar] to them. For your Father knows what things you have need of, before you ask Him.

Therefore, you pray, [according] [to] this: Our Father, [Who] art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, [on] earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, & the power, & the glory, forever. Amen.

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you [don't] forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

[Also,] when you fast, [don't] be, [like] the hypocrites, [with] a sad [face.] For they [distort] their faces, [so] that they may appear to men, to [be] [fasting.] [Truly] I say to you, They have their reward. But you, when you [fast,] anoint your head, & wash your face.

[So,] that you don't appear to men, to [be] [fasting,] but [only to] your Father, [Who] is in secret. Your Father, [Who] sees in secret, shall reward you openly.

[Don't] lay up, [a.k.a. store up,] for yourselves treasures upon earth, where [moths] & rust do corrupt [them,] & where thieves break through & steal [them.] For where your treasure is, your heart will be there also.

The light of the body is the eye. Therefore, if your eye [is healthy,] your whole body shall be full of light. But if your eye [is bad,] your whole body shall be full of darkness. Therefore, if the light that is [within] you [is] darkness, how [enormous] is that darkness!

No man can serve 2 masters. For either he will hate the 1, & love the other; or else he will hold to the 1, & despise the other. You can't serve God & mammon. [1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil. While some coveted, [a.k.a. lusted, or envied,] after [it &] they have [gone astray] from the faith, & pierced through themselves with many sorrows.]

Therefore, I say to you, Take no thought for your life: what you shall eat, or what you shall drink. Nor [take no thought about] your body: what you shall put on. Isn't life more than meat, [a.k.a. food,] & the body [more] than [clothing?] [See,] the [birds] of the air: for they [don't] sow [seeds,] neither do they gather into barns.

[Still,] your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you much better than they [are?] Which of you can add 1 cubit to his [height,] by [thinking, a.k.a worrying,] [about it?] And why [do] you [worry about clothing?]

Consider the lilies of the field, & how they grow. They [don't work,] neither do they spin. And [still] I say to you, That even Solomon, in all his glory wasn't [adorned] like one of these.

[For this reason,] if God clothes the grass of the field, [like this, that are] [here] today, & [are thrown] into the oven tomorrow, shouldn't He much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore, take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, [With what] shall we be clothed? (For the Gentiles do seek after all these things:) for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

But you 1st seek the Kingdom of God, & His righteousness. And all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, take no thought [about tomorrow:] for the morrow shall take thought for the things [for] itself. The evil, [a.k.a. trouble,] [of] the day is sufficient [for it.] [Proverbs 227:1 [Don't] boast yourself of tomorrow; for you [don't know] what a day may bring forth.]

Matthew 5:1-48 Jesus Shares the Beatitudes with the Poor & Persecuted

Jesus Shares the Beatitudes with the Poor & Persecuted

Matthew 5:1-48    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

And [Jesus,] seeing the multitudes, went up into a mountain. And when He was [situated,] his disciples came to Him. And He opened His mouth, & taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are [those, who] mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, [a.k.a. humble:] for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are [those, who] hunger & thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall [receive] mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are [those, who] are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you, when men shall [criticize,] & persecute you, & shall falsely say all [types] of evil against you, for My sake. Rejoice, & be [exceedingly] glad: for great is your reward in heaven. For they [also] persecuted the prophets, [who] were before you.

You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt [has] lost [it's flavor, with what] shall it be salted? [From then on,] it is good for nothing, but to be [thrown] out, & to be [trampled] underfoot [by] men.

You are the light of the world. A city that is [put] on a hill, cannot be [hidden.] Neither do men light a candle, & put it under a bushel, [a.k.a. basket, only] on a candlestick; & it gives light to all, [who] are in the house.

So, let your light shine before men, [so] that they may see your good works, & glorify your Father, [Who] is in heaven. [Don't] think that I [have] come to destroy the Law, or the prophets. I [haven't] come to destroy, but to fulfill.

For [truly,] I say to you, [Until] heaven & earth pass [away, not] one jot or one tittle, [a.k.a. bit,] of the Law shall pass [away,] [until] all [is] fulfilled. Therefore, [whoever] shall break one of these least commandments, & shall teach men [to do] so, shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven.

But [whoever] shall do [the commandments,] & teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, That [unless] your righteousness shall exceed, [a.k.a. surpass,] the righteousness of the scribes & Pharisees, you shall [by no means,] enter into the Kingdom of heaven.

[Romans 10:3 For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, [go] about to establish their own righteousness, haven't submitted, [a.k.a. yielded,] themselves to the righteousness of God.]

You have heard that it was said by [those] of old [times,] You shall not kill; & [whoever] shall kill, shall be in danger of judgment. But I say to you, That [whoever] is angry with his brother without a [reason,] shall be in danger of judgment.

And [whoever] shall say, Raca, [a.k.a. Stupid,] to his brother, shall be in danger of the council. But [whoever] shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, & remember there, that your brother has [something] against you; leave your gift there, [in front of] the altar.

And go [on] your way, & 1st be reconciled to your brother, & then, come & offer your gift. Quickly agree with your [enemy, while] you are in the [road] with him; lest at any time, the [enemy delivers] you to the judge, & the judge [delivers] you to the officer, & you are [thrown] into prison.

[John 12:34-37 The people answered Him, We have heard [from] the Law, that Christ [remains] forever. And how [do] You say, The Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?

Then, Jesus said to them, [Still,] a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, lest darkness [comes] upon you. For he, [who] walks in darkness, [doesn't know where] he [goes.] While you have Light, believe in the Light, [so] that you may be the children of Light.

These things, Jesus [spoke] & departed, & [hid] Himself from them. But [although] He had done so many miracles [in front of] them, [still] they [didn't believe in] Him.]

[Truly,] I say to you, You shall by no means come out [from] [there, a.k.a. Debtor's prison,] until [have] paid the [last] farthing. You have heard that it was said by [those] of old [times,] You shall not commit adultery: But I say to you, That [whoever] looks [lustfully at] a woman, has already committed adultery with her, in his heart.

And if your right eye [offends] you, pluck it out, & cast it from you. For is it [beneficial] for you, that 1 of your members should perish, & not that your whole body should be cast into hell? [Romans 6:12-13 Therefore, [don't] let sin [rule] your mortal body, [so] that you should obey it in [its] lusts.

Neither yield your [bodily] members, as instruments of unrighteousness [that lead] to sin, but yield yourselves to God, [like] those, [who] are alive from the dead, & [use] your [body's] members as instruments of righteousness to God.]

And if your right hand [offends] you, cut it off, & cast it from you. For is it [beneficial] for you that 1 of your members shall perish, & that your whole body [isn't] cast into hell?

[Isaiah 1:15-16 And when you spread [out] your hands, I will hide [My] eyes from you. [Yes,] when you make many prayers, I won't hear. Your hands are full of [bloodshed.] Wash [yourselves] & make [yourself] clean. Put away the evil of your [actions] from [in front of My] eyes; & [stop doing] [what is:] evil.]

It has been said, [Whoever] shall put away, [a.k.a. divorce,] his wife, [except] for the [reason] of fornication, [a.k.a. infidelity,] causes her to commit adultery. And [whoever] shall marry her, [who] is divorced, [commits] adultery. Again, you have heard that it has been said by them of old [times,] You shall not [swear falsely,] but shall [fulfill] your oaths to the Lord.

[Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 When you [make] a vow to God, [don't] delay to pay it; for He [has] no pleasure in fools. Pay [what] you [have] vowed. It is better that you shouldn't vow, than that you [should] vow & not pay [it.]

But I say to you, [Don't] swear at all. Neither by heaven; for it is God's throne; nor by the earth; for it is His footstool. Neither [swear] by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shall you swear by your head, because you can't make 1 hair white or black.

But let your communication be: [Yes, yes; ] & [No, no.] For [whatever] is more than these, comes [from] evil. [James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, [don't] swear, neither by heaven, & neither by the earth, & neither by any other oath. But let your [Yes,] be [yes;] & your [No,] [be] [no;] lest you fall into condemnation.]

You have heard it [has] been said, An eye for an eye, & a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you, Not that you [only] resist evil, but [whoever] shall [strike] you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. And if any man [by] the Law [sues] you & takes away your coat, let him also have your [cloak.]

And [whoever compels] you to go 1 mile, go 2 [miles] with him. Give to him, [who asks] you, & [don't] turn away from him, [who] would borrow [from] you. You have heard that it [has] been said, You shall love your neighbor, & hate your enemy. But I say to you, Love your enemies, & bless [those, who] curse you.

Do good to [those, who] hate you, & pray for [those, who spitefully] use you, & persecute you; [so] that you may be the children of your Father, [Who] is in heaven.

For He makes His sun to rise on the evil, [a.k.a. bad,] & on the good, & sends [out] rain on the just & the unjust. For if we love [those, who] love you, what reward [do] you have? Don't even the publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] [do] the same?

And if you [greet] only your brethren, what do you [do] more than others? Don't even the publicans [do the same?] Therefore, be perfect, [like] your Father, [Who] in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 4:1-25 The Devil Tempts Jesus in the Wilderness

The Devil Tempts Jesus in the Wilderness

Matthew 4:1-25    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, Jesus was led up [by] the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted, [a.k.a. tested, by] the devil. And when He had fasted 40 days & 40 nights, afterward, He was [hungry.]

And when the tempter came to [Jesus,] he said, If You [are] the son of God, command that these [rocks] be made [into] bread. But [Jesus] answered & said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Then, the devil [took] Him up into the Holy City, & [set Jesus] upon a pinnacle, [a.k.a. tip] of the temple, & said to [Jesus,] If You [are] the Son of God, [throw] Yourself down: for it is written, He shall give His Angels charge [over] You.

And they shall [carry] You up in their hands, lest at any time, You dash Your foot against a [rock.] Jesus said to him, Again, it is written, You shall not tempt, [a.k.a. test,] the Lord your God.

Again, the devil [took Jesus] up to an [exceedingly] high mountain, & [showed] Him all the kingdoms of the world, & the glory of them. And [said] to [Jesus,] I will give You all these things, if You will fall down & worship me.

Then, Jesus [said] to him, Get [yourself from here,] Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, & you shall only serve Him. Then, the devil [left] Him. And [look,] Angels came & ministered to [Jesus.]

Now, when Jesus had heard that John was [thrown] into prison, He departed [to go] into Galilee. And leaving Nazareth, [Jesus] came & dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, [on] the borders of Zabulon, & Nephthalim, [a.k.a. Naphtali.]

[So] that it might [fulfill what] was spoken by [Isaiah,] the prophet, saying, *The land of Zabulon, & the land of [Naphtali,] by the [road] of the sea, beyond Jordan, [in] Galilee of the Gentiles; The people [who] sat in darkness, saw great Light; & to [those, who] sat in the region, &  [under] the shadow of death, Light [has] sprung up.

[Isaiah 42:6-7 In Righteousness, I, the Lord, have called You, & will hold Your hand, & will keep You, & give You for a Covenant [contract] of the people, for a Light of the Gentiles: *To open the blind eyes, to bring prisoners out from the prison, & [those, who] sit in darkness out of the house of the prison.]

From that time, Jesus began to preach, & to say, Repent: for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand, [a.k.a. near.] And walking by the Sea of Galilee, Jesus saw 2 brethren, Simon called Peter, & Andrew, his brother, [throwing] a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

And [Jesus said] to them, Follow Me, & I will make you fishers of men. And [right away,] they left their nets, & followed Him. And going on from [there, Jesus] saw 2 other brethren, James, [Zebedee’s] son, & John, his brother, in a ship with Zebedee, their father, mending their nets.

And [Jesus] called them. And immediately, they left the ship, & their father, & followed Him. And Jesus went [around] all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues; preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, & *healing all [types] of [diseases] among the people.

[Isaiah 29:18-19 *And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the Words of the Book, & the eyes of the blind shall see out of [cloudiness,] & out of darkness. Also, the meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men, shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.]

And His fame went throughout all Syria: & they brought all sick people, with [various] diseases & torments, & [those, who] were possessed with [demons,] those [who] were [insane,] & those, [who were paralyzed] to [Jesus,] & He healed them.

And great multitudes of people from: Galilee; Decapolis; Jerusalem, Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea;] & from beyond Jordan, followed [Jesus.]
