About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 22:1-30 The New Heaven & A New Earth & No More Sorrow

The New Heaven & A New Earth & No More Sorrow

Jeremiah 22:1-30                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord says [this;] Go down to the house of [Judah's] king & speak this Word, there & say, You, O king of Judah, [who] sits upon the throne of David &

your: servants & people, [who] enter in by these gates, Hear the Word of the Lord.

The Lord says [this;] You, [carry out] judgment & righteousness & deliver the [plundered] out of the hand of the oppressor. And [you] [don't] do [what is] wrong & [don't] do [any] violence to the stranger, fatherless & widow & neither shed [the] blood of the innocent in this place.

[Matthew 23:23 Woe to you, scribes, Pharisees & hypocrites! For you pay [the 10%] tithe of mint, anise & cumin & have [left out] the [more important] matters of the Law, [justice,] mercy & faith. These you [should] have done, [but don't] leave the other [things] undone.

For if you indeed do this thing, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house: kings sitting upon the throne of David & he, his servants & his people riding in chariots & on horses. *But if you won't hear these Words, I, Myself, swear, says the Lord, that this house shall become a desolation.

[Matthew 23:37-38 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who] kill the prophets & stone [those who] are sent to you. How often, I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen gathers her chickens under her wings & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me, [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord.

For the Lord says [this] to the king's house of Judah; You are Gilead to Me & the head of Lebanon. Yet, I surely will make you a wilderness & [uninhabited] cities. And I will prepare destroyers, everyone with his weapons against you. And they shall cut down your [best] cedars & [throw] them into the fire. [Jeremiah 21:14 But I will punish you according to the fruit [produced from] your [actions,] says the Lord.]

And many nations shall pass by this city & every man shall say to his neighbor, [Why] has the Lord done [this,] to this great city? Then, they shall answer, Because they have [abandoned] the Covenant [contract] of the Lord their God & worshiped other gods & served them.

[Don't] you weep for the dead, [nor mourn] him: but [severely] weep for him, [who] goes away & for he shall no [longer] return, nor see his native country. For the Lord says [this about] Shallum, [Josiah's] son, [Judah's] king, [who ruled] instead of Josiah, his father, [who] went out of this place.

He shall not return [there] anymore. But he shall die in the place [where] they have led him captive & shall no [longer] see this land. [Distress] to him, [who] builds his house [through what is unrighteous] & his [rooms] [by what is] wrong.

[Who] uses his neighbor's service, without wages & [doesn't pay] him for his work & says, I will build me a [big] house & large [rooms] & cuts [himself] out windows & [panels] it with cedar, painted with vermillion, [a.k.a. red.]

[Numbers 35:33 So, you shall not [defile] the land [in which] you are: for blood defiles the land. And the land can't be cleansed [from] the blood that is shed [in it,] but [only] by the blood of him, [who] shed it.]

Shall you [rule,] because you [enclose] yourself in cedar? Didn't your father eat, drink & [delivered] judgment & justice & then it was well with him? He judged the [case] of the poor & needy. Then it [went] well with him. The Lord said, [Didn't his actions show he knew] Me?

But your eyes & heart aren't [focused on Me,] but [are] for your [greed, shedding the] blood [of the] innocent, oppression & for violence & [doing] it. [Isaiah 5:13 Therefore, My people [have] gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge & their honorable men are [starving] & their multitude [are] dried up with thirst.]

Therefore, the Lord says [this about] Jehoiakim, [Josiah's] son, [Judah's] king; They shall not [mourn] for him, saying, Ah, my brother! Or, Ah sister! They shall not [grieve] for him, saying, Ah, lord! Or, Ah, his glory! He shall be buried with the burial of [a mule that pulls carts] & is [thrown out,] beyond [Jerusalem's] gates.

[Daniel 1:1-2 In the 3rd year Jehoiakim, [Judah's] king, [ruled,] Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king, came to Jerusalem & [attacked] it. And the Lord gave Jehoiakim, [Judah's] king into [Nebuchadnezzar's] hand, with part of the vessels [from] the house of God, [that] he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. And [Nebuchadnezzar] brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.]

Go up to Lebanon & cry [out] & lift up your voice in Bashan. And cry [out] from the passages, [a.k.a. Abarim,] for all your lovers are destroyed. [Jeremiah 11:11-13 Therefore, the Lord says [this, Look,] I will bring [calamity] upon [those, who] shall not be able to escape.

[Although] they cry [out] to Me, I won't [listen] to them. Then, the cities of Judah & [residents] of Jerusalem, shall go & cry [out] to the gods, to whom they offer incense. But they shall not save them, at all in their time of trouble.

O Judah, for your gods are according to the number of your cities. And you have [put] up altars, even altars to burn incense to Baal, according to the number of streets [in] Jerusalem.]

I [spoke] to you [during] your prosperity; but you said, I won't [listen.] That has been your [custom] from your youth, that you [don't] obey My voice. The wind shall eat up all your pastors & your lovers shall go into captivity. Then, you shall surely be ashamed & [confused] for all your wickedness.

[Jeremiah 23:1-2 The Lord says, Woe to the pastors, [a.k.a. shepherds, who] destroy & scatter the sheep of My pasture! Therefore, the Lord God of Israel says this against the pastors, [who] feed My people; You have scattered My flock & driven them away & haven't visited them. [Watch,] I will visit upon you, [a.k.a. punish,] the evil of your [actions,] says the Lord.]

O [residents] of Lebanon, [who make] your nest in the cedars, how gracious your [pains] shall be when they come upon you, [like] the pain of a woman in [childbirth!] The Lord says, As I live, [if] Coniah, [Jehoiakim's] son, [Judah's] king, were the signet [ring] upon My right hand, I would [still] pluck you up [off of there.]

And I will [put] you into the hand of [those who] seek your life & into the hand of [those] whose face [causes you to be afraid,] even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king & into the hand of the Chadeans. And I will cast you & your mother, [who bore] you, out into another country, where you weren't born & you shall die there.

But to the land, [in which] they desire to return, they shall not return [there.] Is this man, Coniah [like] a despised broken idol? Is he a vessel, [in which there] is no pleasure? [For this reason, he & his [descendants] are cast into a land [that] they [don't] know. O earth, earth, earth, hear the Word of the Lord.

The Lord says [this,] You write: This [is a] childless man, [who] shall not prosper [during] his [life:] for no man of his [offspring] sitting on the throne of David & ruling in Judah, shall prosper any more.

Jeremiah 21:1-14 When King Zedekiah Sent Jeremiah to Pashur

When King Zedekiah Sent Jeremiah to Pashur

Jeremiah 21:1-14                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Word [that] came from the Lord to Jeremiah, when king Zedekiah sent [Jeremiah] to Pashur, [Melchiah's] son & [to] Zephaniah, [Maaseiah's] son, the priest, saying, I pray [that] you [inquire] of the Lord for us.

For Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, makes war against us & [see] if the Lord will deal with us according to all His wondrous works, [so Nebuchadnezzar] may go [away] from us. [Psalm 105:39-42 He spread a cloud for a covering & fire to give light in the night.

The people asked & He brought quails & satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened the rock & waters gushed out & they ran in the dry places like a river. For He remembered His Holy promise & Abraham, His servant.]

Then, Jeremiah said to them, You say [this] to Zedekiah. The Lord God of Israel says [this; Look,] I will [return] back the weapons of war that are in your hands, [with which] you fight against [Babylon's] king & the Chaldeans, [who attack] you [outside] the walls. And I will assemble them into the [middle] of this city.

[Ezekiel 23:38-39 That they have committed adultery & blood is [on] their hands. And they have committed adultery with their idols & have also caused their sons, whom they [bore] to Me, to pass through the fire, to devour them, for [the idols.] [Additionally,] they have done this to Me & they have defiled My sanctuary [on] the same day & have profaned My Sabbaths.]

And I, Myself, will fight with an outstretched hand & a strong arm, even in anger, fury & great wrath, against you. [Isaiah 63:9-10 In all their [suffering,] He was afflicted & the Angel saved them [in] His presence.

In His love & in His pity, He redeemed them. And He [bore] them & carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled & [troubled] His Holy Spirit. Therefore, He was turned; to be their enemy & He fought against them.]

And I will [strike] the inhabitants of this city, both man & [animal] & they shall die of a [large] pestilence. The Lord says, And afterwards, I will deliver Zedekiah, [Judah's] king & his servants; the people & [those who remain] in the city from the pestilence, the sword & the famine, into [Nebuchadnezzar's] hand, [Babylon's] king & into the hand of their enemies, & [those who] seek their life.

And he shall [strike] them with the edge of the sword. He shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor mercy. And you shall say to this people, The Lord says [this; See,] I [put] before you: The Way of Life & The Way of Death. He who [remains] in this city, shall die by the sword, famine & pestilence.

But he, [who] goes out & [defects] to the Chaldeans, [who attack] you, shall live & his life shall be [like a prize,] to him. For I have set My face against this city for evil & not for good, says the Lord. It shall be given into the hand of [Babylon's] king & he shall burn it with fire.

And say [about] the house of [Judah's] king, You, [listen to] the Word of the Lord. The Lord says [this;] O house of David, [carry out] judgment in the morning & deliver him, [who] is [plundered] out of the hand of the oppressor, lest My fury [goes] out like fire & [burns so] that none can [put it out,] because of the evil of your [actions.]

[2 Kings 21:4-7 And he built altars in the [Lord's] house, of which the Lord said, In Jerusalem, I will put My Name. And he built altars for the [stars & constellations] of heaven in the 2 [courtyards] of the [Lord's] house.

And he made his sons pass through the fire & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology & horoscopes,] used enchantments, dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. talking with the dead,] & wizards. He [brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord to provoke Him to anger.

And he [put] a [carved] image that he made, from the grove, into the house, of which the Lord said to David & Solomon, his son, In this house I will put My Name forever & in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel.]

The Lord said, [Look,] O [inhabitants] of the valley & the rock of the plain, [who] say, Who shall come down against us?  Or who shall enter into our [dwellings?] [Jeremiah 23:11-14 For both the [prophets & priests] are profane. Yes, I have found their wickedness in My house, says the Lord.

[For this reason,] their [road] shall be to them [like] slippery [roads] in the darkness. They shall be driven on & fall [on them.] For I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, [a.k.a. punishment,] says the Lord. And I have seen [foolishness] in the prophets of Samaria.

They prophesied [about] Baal & caused My people, Israel, to [go astray.] I have also seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem. They commit adultery & [follow] [what are] lies. They also strengthen the hands of [those who do evil, so] that none [returns] from his wickedness. They are, all of them to Me [like] Sodom & the [residents of it like] Gomorrah.]

But I will punish you according to the fruit [produced from] your [actions,] says the Lord. [Revelation 22:12-13 And [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me & shall be to give [to] every man according [to] his [deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.

And I will [start] a fire in the forest [of it] & it shall devour all things [around] it.

[Isaiah 3:10-11 Say to the righteous, it shall [go] well with him. They shall eat the fruit [produced from] their [actions.] [Distress] to the wicked! It shall [go poorly for] him. For the reward of his hands shall be given [to] him.]

Jeremiah 20:1-18 Pashur has Put Jeremiah, the Prophet, into Stocks

Pashur has Put Jeremiah, the Prophet, into Stocks

Jeremiah 20:1-18                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, Pashur, [Immer's] son, the priest, who also was [in charge of] the [Lord's] house, heard that Jeremiah [had] prophesied these things. Then, Pashur [struck] Jeremiah, the prophet & put him in stocks that were in the High Gate of Benjamin, [near] the [Lord's] house.

And it [happened] on the [next day,] that Pashur brought Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then, Jeremiah said to him, The Lord hasn't called your name Pashur, but Magor Missabib. For the Lord says [this, Look,] I will make you a terror to yourself & to all your friends.

And they shall fall by the sword of their enemies & your eyes shall [see] it. And I will give all Judah into the hand of [Babylon's] king, & he shall carry them captive into Babylon & shall [kill] them with the sword.

[Jeremiah 21:8-10 And you shall say to this people, The Lord says [this; Look] I will [present] before you the Way of Life & the Way of Death. He, [who remains] in this city, shall die by the sword, famine & pestilence.

But he [who] goes out & falls to the Chaldeans, [who attack] you, he shall live. And his life shall be [for a prize] to him. For I have set My face against this city for [calamity] & not for good, says the Lord. It shall be [turned over] into the hand of [Babylon's] king. And he shall burn it with fire.]

[Also,] I will deliver all the strength of this city & all [its] labors & [its] precious things & all the treasures of [Judah's] kings & I will give [them] into the hand of their enemies, [who] shall [plunder] them & take & carry them to Babylon.

[Jeremiah 19:12-13 The Lord says, I will do [this] to this place & to [its residents] & even make this city [like] Tophet, [a.k.a. Topheth.] And the houses of Jerusalem & [Judah's] kings, shall be defiled, [like] the place of Tophet, because of all the [rooftops] of the houses [on which] they have burned incense to all the [stars & constellations] of heaven & have poured out drink offerings to other gods.]

And you, Pashur, & all [who] dwell in your house shall go into captivity. And you shall come to Babylon & you shall die there & shall be buried there, you & all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.

O Lord, You have deceived me & I was [persuaded.] You are stronger than I & have prevailed. I am [ridiculed] daily & everyone mocks me. For since I [spoke] & cried out, I cried [out about] violence & [plunder]; because the Word of the Lord was made a [disgrace] to me & [ridiculed] daily.

Then, I said, I won't make mention of Him, nor speak in His Name, any more. But His Word was in my heart [like] a burning fire, [closed] up [within] my bones. And I was [tired] of [holding it back] & I couldn't [cease.] For I heard the [slandering] of many [with] fear on every side.

They say, Report & we will report it. All my [acquaintances] watched for my [ceasing,] saying, [Perhaps,] he will be [persuaded] & we shall prevail against him & take our revenge on him. [Psalm 31:13 For I have heard the slander of many. Fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against Me & they [plotted] to take My life.]

But the Lord is with me [like] a [terribly awesome] Mighty One. Therefore, my persecutors shall stumble & they shall not prevail. They shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper & their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

[Jeremiah 17:18 Let [those who] persecute me be [confused,] but [don't] let me be [ashamed.] Let them be dismayed, but don't let me be [discouraged.] Bring upon them the day of evil & destroy them with double destruction.]

But, O Lord of Hoses, [Who tests] the righteous & sees the [heart strings] & the heart, let me see Your vengeance on them. For I have opened my cause to You. [Jeremiah 15:15 O Lord, You know & remember me. Visit me & [avenge] me of my persecutors. In Your patience, [don't] take me away. Know that I have suffered [disgrace,] for Your sake.]

Sing to the Lord & you, praise the Lord: for He has delivered the [life] of the poor from the hand of [those who do evil.] Cursed [is] the day [in which] I was born.

[Don't] let the day my mother [delivered] me, be blessed. Cursed [is] the man who brought [news] to my father, saying, A [male] child is born to you; making him very glad. And let that man be [like] the cities [that didn't repent,] which the Lord overthrew.

And let Him hear the [out] cry in the morning & the shouting at [noon.] Because He [didn't kill] me from the womb; or that my mother might have [miscarried] & her womb always be [large] with me & [would have] been my grave. [Is this the reason,] I came out of the womb, to see labor & sorrow, [so] that my days should be consumed with shame?

Jeremiah 19:1-15 The Warning to the Elders & the Broken Bottle

The Warning to the Elders & the Broken Bottle

Jeremiah 19:1-15                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord says [this,] God & get the potter's earthen, [a.k.a. clay] bottle, [taken from the elders] of: the people & the priests. And go [out into] the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, which is by the [entrance] of the East Gate. And proclaim there the Words that I shall tell you.

[2 Kings 23:9-10 [However,] the priests of the high places [didn't] come up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem, but they did eat the unleavened bread among their brethren. And He defiled Topheth, [a.k.a. Tophet,] which is in the Valley of the Children of Hinnom, so that no man might make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Molech.]

And say, You, hear the Word of the Lord, O kings of Judah & [residents] of Jerusalem. The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this; Watch,] I will bring [a catastrophe] upon this place & the ears of [whoever] hears [it,] shall tingle.

[It's] because they have [abandoned] Me & have [made] this place [indifferent] & have burned incense in it to other gods, [that] neither they, their [forefathers,] nor the kings of Judah have known & have filled this place with the blood of [those who were innocent.]

[2 Kings 21:5-7 And he built altars for all the [stars & constellations] of heaven in the 2 [courtyards] of the [Lord's] house. And he made his son pass through the fire & observed times, [a.k.a. astrology or horoscopes,] used enchantments, dealt with familiar spirits, [a.k.a. talking with the dead,] & wizards. He [brought about] much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.]

Also, they have built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I [didn't command, nor [spoke] it. Neither [did it come] into My mind. The Lord says, Therefore, [look,] the days come, that this place shall no [longer] be called Tophet, nor The Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.

[Jeremiah 7:32-33 The Lord says, Therefore, [look,] the days come that it shall no [longer] be called Tophet, nor the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they shall bury in Tophet, [until] there [is] no place [remaining.] And the [corpses] of this people shall be meat for the [birds] of the [heavens] & for the [animals] of the earth & none shall [frighten] them away.]

And I will make the counsel of Judah & Jerusalem [useless] in this place. And I will cause them to fall by the sword, [in front of] their enemies & by the hands of [those who] seek their lives. And I will give their [corpses] to be meat for the [birds] of heaven & for the [animals] of the earth.

And I will make this city desolate & [to be hissed at.] Everyone, [who] passes [by there] shall be astonished & hiss because of all [its] plagues. [Exodus 9:14-15 For at this time, I will send all My plagues upon your heart & upon your servants & your people; [so] that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth. For now, I will stretch out My hand, [so] that I might [strike] you & your people with pestilence & you shall be cut off from the earth.]

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons & daughters. And everyone shall eat the flesh of his friend in the [battle & famine with which] their enemies & [those who] seek their lives, shall [starve] them. [Ezekiel 5:9-11 And I will do in you, [what] I haven't done & I won't do any more [similarly,] because of all your abominations.

Therefore, the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you & the sons will eat their fathers. And I will [deliver] judgments in you. And I will scatter into all the winds, [all] the [rest] of you.

The Lord God says; As I live, [for this reason,] because you surely defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things & all your abominations, therefore, I will also [reduce] you & neither shall My eyes spare, [nor] will I have any pity.]

Then, you shall break the [clay] bottle in the sight of the men [who] go with you. And [you] shall say to them, The Lord of Hosts says [this;] Even so, I will break this people & this city, [like someone] breaks a potter's vessel, that can't be made whole again.

And they shall bury them in Tophet, [until] there is no place to bury. [Revelation 2:27 *And He shall rule them with [an] iron rod, even [like] I have received [from] My Father & they shall be broken to [slivers, like clay] vessels of a potter.

The Lord says [this,] I will do to this place & to [its residents] & even make this city [like] Tophet. And the houses of: Jerusalem & the kings of Judah, shall be defiled [like] the place of Tophet, because of all the [rooftops] of houses, upon [which] they have burned incense to all the [stars & constellations] of heaven & have poured out drink offerings to other gods.

Then, Jeremiah came from Tophet, [where] the Lord had sent him to prophesy. And [Jeremiah] stood in the the [courtyard] of the [Lord's] house & said to all the people, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this; Watch,] I will bring upon this city & upon all [its] towns, all the [doom] that I have pronounced against it, because they have [stubbornly, a.k.a. hardened their necks, so] that they might not hear My Words.

Jeremiah 35:1-19 Jeremiah Takes the Rechabites to the House of the Lord

Jeremiah Takes the Rechabites to the House of the Lord

Jeremiah 35:1-19                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Word from the Lord, [that] came to Jeremiah, [during] the days of Jehoiakim, [Josiah's] son, [Judah's] king, saying, Go to the house of the Rechabites & speak to them & bring them into the house of the Lord & into 1 of the [rooms] & give them wine to drink.

Then, I took Jaazaniah, the son of Jeremiah, [who was] [Habaziniah's] son, & his brethren & all his sons & the whole house of the Rechabites. And I brought them into the [Lord's] house, into the [room] of the sons of Hanan, [who was] [Igdaliah's] son, a man of God, which was [near] the [room] of the princes, [that] was above the [room] of Maaseiah, [Shallum's] son, the [doorkeeper.]

And I [put in front of] the sons of the [family] of Rechabites, pots full of wine & cups. And I said to them, You, drink the wine. But they said, We [won't] drink [any] wine: for Jonadab, [Rechab's] son, our [forefather] commanded us, saying, You shall [not] drink [any] wine, neither you, nor your sons forever.

Neither shall you build [a] house, nor sow seed, plant [a] vineyard, nor have  any [of these.] But all your days, you shall [live] in tents; [so] that you may live many days in the land where you [are] strangers.

[Like this,] we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab, [Rechab's] son, our [forefather,] in all that he has [commanded] us. We, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters drink [any] wine all our [lives.] Nor [do we] build houses for us to [live] in. Neither [do] we have: [vineyards, fields,] nor seed.

But we have dwelt in tents & have obeyed & done, according to all that Jonadab, our [forefather] commanded us. But it [happened,] when Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, came up into the land, that we said, Come & let us go to Jerusalem, for fear of the Chaldeans & [Syrian] army. So we dwell [in] Jerusalem.

Then, the Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this;] Go & tell the men of Judah & the [residents] of Jerusalem, Won't you receive instruction & [pay attention] to My Words? says the Lord.

[Isaiah 29:12-13 And the book is delivered to him, [who] is [uneducated,] saying, I pray [that] you read this. And he says, I'm not [educated.] [For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since] this people draw [close] to Me with their [mouths] & honor Me with their lips, but had removed their heart far from Me & their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the precept, [a.k.a. commandments] of men.]

The words of Jonadab, [Rechab's] son, [who] commanded his sons not to drink wine, are [carried out.] For [until] this day, none drink, but obey their father's [command. However,] I have spoken to you, rising early [to warn,] & speaking, but you [haven't paid attention] to Me.

I have also sent to you all My servants, the prophets, rising up early, [to warn,] & sending them, saying, Every man, return [yourselves] from your evil [ways & change] your [actions] & [don't] go after other gods, to serve them. And you shall dwell in the land, [that] I have given to you & to your [forefathers.] But you haven't [leaned] your ear, nor have you [listened] to Me.

[Jeremiah 18:11-12 Therefore, go now to speak to the men of Judah & to the [residents] of Jerusalem, saying, The Lord says [this; Look,] I [plan calamity] against you. Now, everyone return [yourselves] from his evil [ways] & make your ways & your [actions] good. And they said, There is no hope. But we will [follow] after our own [plots] & everyone will do the imagination of his evil heart.]

[Since,] the sons of Jonadab, [Rechab's] son, have [done] the [command] of their father, [that] he commanded them, but [these] people haven't [paid attention] to Me: therefore, the Lord God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this; Look,] I will bring upon Judah & the [residents] of Jerusalem all the [disaster,] that I have [declared] against them; because I have spoken to them, but they haven't heard & I have called to them, but they haven't answered.

And Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this;] Because you have obeyed the [command] of Jonadab, your father, & have kept all his precepts, [a.k.a. commandments] & [have] done according to all that he has commanded you.

Therefore, the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this;] Jonadab, [Rechab's] son, shall not [lack] a man to stand before Me forever.

[Revelation 7:15-16 Therefore, they are [in front of] the throne of God & serve Him day & night in His temple. And He, [Who] sits on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall no [longer] hunger, [nor] thirst anymore. Neither shall the sun, nor any heat [burn] them. ]
