About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Proverbs 19:1-29 Tips on the Lazy, Parenting & the Angry

Tips on the Lazy, Parenting & the Angry

Proverbs 19:1-29                                  Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

The poor, [who] walk in [their] integrity [are] better than the fool [with deceitful] lips. Also, it’s not good that the soul [is] without knowledge & he [who hurries] with his feet [to do what is sinful.]

The foolishness of man [leads him astray] & his heart frets gainst the [Lord.] [Having] wealth makes many friends; but the poor [are] separated from his neighbor.

A false witness shall not [go] unpunished & he, [who speaks] lies shall not escape. Many will [request] the favor of the prince & every man is a friend to [those who give] him gifts.

All the [relatives] of the poor hate him & how much more, do his friends go far from him? He [calls after] them with words, yet they are [indifferent & stay away from] him.

He, [who gets] wisdom loves his own soul & he, [who] keeps understanding shall find [what is] good. A false witness shall not [go] unpunished & he, [who] lies shall perish.

[Luxury] is not [suitable] for a fool; [it’s] much less [appropriate] for a servant to have [control] over princes. The man [making responsible choices, postpones] his anger & [he is to be praised for overlooking] a transgression.

The king’s [anger is like] the roaring of a lion; but his favor is [like] dew upon the grass. A foolish son is the [ruin] of his father & the [arguments] of a wife are [like] a continual [dripping faucet.]

[A] house & riches are the inheritance [from] fathers & the [wise] wife is from the Lord. [Laziness causes] deep sleep & an idle soul, [doing nothing,] shall suffer hunger.

He, [who] keeps the [commandments, saves] his own soul; but he, [who] despises [God’s] ways, shall die. He, [who has] pity on the poor, lends [for] the Lord &  [what] he has given, [God] will [repay] him again.

[Revelation 22:12-13 And, [watch,] I come quickly; & My reward is with Me, & shall be to give [to] every man according [to] his deeds. I am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.

[Discipline] your son while there is hope & [don’t stop, because of] his crying. A man shall suffer punishment for his great [anger] & if you deliver him [from it,] you [will have] to do it again.

Hear [advice] & receive instruction, [so] that you [may] be wise [the rest of your life.] There are many [plans] in a man’s heart; [still] the [Lord’s advice is what] shall stand.

A [man’s] desire is [the Lord God's] kindness & [being] a poor man is better than [being] a liar. The fear [respect] of the Lord [leads] to life & he, [who] has it, shall [remain] satisfied & he [won’t] be visited with evil.

A [lazy] man hides his hand in his [chest & won’t] bring it to his mouth again. [Strike someone who looks down on others] & the simple [minded] will be [cautious.]

And [correct someone who has] understanding & he will understand knowledge. He, [who] wastes his [father’s] [money] & chases his mother away, causes shame & brings [disgrace.]

My son, [don’t listen to] the instruction that causes [people to be led astray] from the words of knowledge. An ungodly witness [looks down on justice] & the mouth of the wicked devours [what is sinful.] Judgments are prepared for [those who think they are better than others] & [beatings are] for the backs of fools.

Proverbs 18:1-24 About What Different Types of People Say

About What Different Types of People Say

Proverbs 18:1-24                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

A man, [who has] separated himself, [because of] desire, seeks & [interferes] with all wisdom. A fool has no delight in understanding, but [thinks] that his heart may [learn it] itself.

When the wicked [come, then disrespect comes] & also [disgrace comes with blame.] The words [from] a man’s mouth are [like] deep waters & the [fountain] of wisdom [is like] a flowing brook.

[James 3:17 First, the wisdom that is from above is pure & then [peaceful, gentle & easy to request] full of mercy & good [results, impartial] & [without saying one thing & doing another, a.k.a. hypocrisy.]

It isn’t good to [show preference to] the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment. A fool’s lips enter into [arguments] & his mouth [calls] for [blows.] A fool’s mouth [leads to] his destruction & his lips [entrap] his soul.

The words of a [gossip] are [like] wounds that go down to the innermost parts of [his being.] He, [who] is [lazy] in his work, is also [a] brother to him, [who] is a great waster [of money.]

The Name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run into it & [are] safe. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city & his own conceit [is like] a high wall. Before destruction, the heart of a man is [arrogant] & before honor is humility.

He [who answers] a matter before he [hears] it, [lacks good judgment & brings] shame to [himself.] The spirit of a man will sustain [him in] his infirmity, but who can bear a [broken] spirit?

The heart of the [cautious] gets knowledge & the ear of the wise [seeks] knowledge. A man’s gift [gets him in their good graces, so they] make room for him & bring him before [important] men.

He, [who] is first in his own cause [seems] just: but his neighbor comes & [questions] him. The [impartial] lot [causes disputes] to [stop] & [keeps apart] the mighty.

A brother offended is harder to be won [over] than a strong city & their [disputes] are like the [gate] bars of a castle. A man’s [stomach] shall be satisfied with the fruit [a.k.a. words] of his mouth & he shall be filled with the [produce] of his lips.

[Both] death & life are [within] the power of the [mouth & those who] love it shall eat the [fruits of it.] [Whoever] finds a wife, finds a good thing & obtains [the] favor of the Lord.

The poor use [emotional requests, begging;] but the rich answer roughly. A man, [who] has friends must show [he’s] friendly & there is a friend, [who stays] closer than a brother.

Proverbs 17:1-28 The Lord God Tests the Hearts of Mankind

The Lord God Tests the Hearts of Mankind

Proverbs 17:1-28                                   Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

A dry morsel [of food] [with peace] is better than a house full of [sacrificial meals] with [arguments.] A wise servant shall have [control] over a son, [who causes] shame & shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

The [refining] pot is for silver & the furnace for gold: but the Lord [tests] the hearts. A [person who does wickedly pays attention] to false lips & a liar [listens] to a [destructive mouth.]

[Whoever] mocks the poor [disgraces] his Maker & he [who] is glad [about] calamities shall not [go] unpunished. [Grandchildren] are the crown of old men & are the children of their [father’s] glory.

Excellent speech [isn’t becoming for] a fool & lying lips [are even less becoming for] a prince. A gift is [like] a precious [jewel sparkles] in the eyes of [the person who has] it: wherever [he] turns it, [he] prospers.

He, [who hides his sin] seeks love: but he, [who repeats that] matter [separates the best of] friends. [Correction benefits] a wise man [more] than 100 [lashes of the whip] to a fool.

An evil man only seeks rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him. [It is better that] a man [meets] a bear robbed of her cubs, rather than [meet] a fool in his [foolishness.]

[Whoever] rewards evil for good [done to him,] evil shall not depart from his house. The beginning of [a quarrel is like] when [someone] lets [a flood of] water out: therefore [stop arguments] before [others get involved] with it.

He, [who justifies] the wicked & he, [who condemns] the [honest,] are both [abominations] to the Lord. [Why] is there [money] in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, [when his] heart [isn’t open] to it?

A friend loves at all times & a brother is born for [times of] adversity. A man [without] understanding [shakes] hands, in [front] of his friend & becomes [the guarantor for his friend’s loan.]

He [who] loves [discord, loves sin] & he, [who is prideful & makes] his gate [elevated] seeks destruction. [Proverb 16:18 Pride goes before destruction & an [arrogant] spirit before a fall.]

He, [who has a deceitful] heart [does’t find any] good & he, [who] has [a wicked] tongue falls into [evil.] It [is the] sorrow of [him who fathers] a fool. And the father of a fool has no joy.

A [happy] heart does [it] good like medicine: but a broken spirit dries [out] the bones. A wicked man [takes a bribe from a chest pocket] to [distort] the [path] of [justice.]

Wisdom is before [those with] understanding: but a [fool’s] eyes [wander to] the ends of the earth. A foolish son is grief to his father & bitterness to [his mother, who gave birth to] him.

[It’s] not good to punish the [righteous,] nor to [hit] the princes for equity. He, [who has] knowledge, [uses his words sparingly] & a man of understanding [has a calm] spirit. Even when a fool holds his peace, [he is considered as] wise & he [who shuts] his [mouth] is [respected like] a man of understanding.

Proverbs 16:1-33 The Heart & the Thoughts of Man

The Heart & the Thoughts of Man

Proverbs 16:1-33                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

[Preparing] the heart [within] man & the [answers] of the [mouth are] from the Lord. All the ways of a man are [right] in his own eyes, but the Lord [considers mans’ spirit.]

[Luke 16:15 And [Jesus] said to them, You are [those who] justify yourselves before men: but God knows your hearts: for [what] is highly [respected] among men is [an] abomination in the sight of God.] Commit your [deeds] to the Lord & your thoughts shall be established.

[1 Peter 5:6-7 Likewise, you younger [ones] submit yourselves to the elder [ones.] [Yes,] all of you [are to yield your control] one to another & be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud & gives grace to the humble. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, [so] that He may exalt you in due time.]

The Lord has made all things for Himself: [yes] even the wicked for the day of evil. [Revelation 22:12-15 And, [watch,] I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give [to] every man according to his [deeds.]

I am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. Blessed are [those who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have [the] right to the Tree of Life & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters & [whoever loves to make & tell] a lie.]

Everyong [who has a] proud heart [& thinks he’s better than others] is an abomination to the Lord: [although he may] join hand & hand [with others,] he shall not [go] unpunished.

Iniquity is [made free from sin] by mercy & truth & by the fear [respect] of the Lord, men depart from evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even [the man’s] enemies at peace with him.

Better is a little with righteousness, than great [wealth] without [justice.] A man’s heart [plans] his [path:] but the Lord directs his steps. [On] the lips of the king is a divine sentence: his mouth [doesn’t sin against fair] judgment.

A [correct & precise] weight & balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are His work. [Leviticus 19:36 You shall have just balances & just weights, a just ephah & a just hin, [a.k.a. units of weight.] I am the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt.]

To commit wickedness is an abomination to kings: [because] the throne is established by righteousness. Righteous lips are the [king’s] delight & they love [those who speak what is] right.

The [anger] of the king is [like] messengers of death: but a wise man will [calm] it. In the light of the king’s [face] is life & his [approval] is ]lke seeing] a rain cloud [in spring.]

It’s much better to get wisdom than gold! And [getting] understanding [is] to be chosen rather than silver! To depart from evil is the highway of the [righteous:] he [who] keeps [the Lord God’s] way [saves] his soul.

Pride goes before destruction & an [arrogant] spirit before a fall. [It’s] better to [have] a humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the [plunder] with the proud. Good shall [be found by those who] handle a matter wisely & [whoever] trusts in the Lord is happy. [Those with a] wise heart shall be called: [discreet] & learning increases [by] the sweetness of the lips, [a.k.a. speaking kindly.]

[Those who] have understanding is a well-spring of life: but the instruction of fools [shows a lack of good judgment.] [John 4:13-14 Jesus answered & said to her, [Whoever] drinks of this water shall thirst again: but [whoever] drinks of the water that I shall give him, shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be [within] him a well of water, springing up into Everlasting Life.]

The heart of the wise teaches his mouth [what to say] & adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are [like a] honeycomb, sweet to the soul & health to the bones.

There is a [path] that seems right to a man: but [its] end, are the [paths that lead to] death. He [who] labors [works] for himself; for his mouth craves it of him. [Ecclesiastes 6:7 All the labor of man is for his mouth & yet the appetite is not filled.]

An ungodly man [digs] up evil & in his [mouth] is a burning fire. A [deceitful] man [plants discord] & a [gossip] separates [best] friends. A violent man entices his neighbor & leads him into a [path] that isn’t good.

[Winking] his [eye] to [plot deceitful] things & moving his lips, he brings evil [to take place.] The [silver] head is a crown of glory, if [its] found [on someone] in the [path] of righteousness.

He [who] is slow to anger is better than the mighty & he [who controls] his spirit [is better] than he [who captures] a city. The [impartial] lot is [thrown] into the lap: but the whole [decision] is [from] the Lord.

Proverbs 15:1-33 Thoughts on What We Should Say & How to Act

Thoughts on What We Should Say & How to Act

Proverbs 15:1-33                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

A soft answer turns away [fury:] but [harsh] words stir up anger. The [mouth] of the wise [uses] knowledge [correctly:] but the mouth of fools pour out [what is] foolishness.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, [seeing both] the evil & the good. A tongue [of the good,] is a Tree of Life: but [deceit within the mouth leads to] a [broken] spirit. A fool despises his father’s instruction: but he, [who pays attention to correction] is [wise.]

[There] is much treasure in the house of the righteous: but the [money gained by] the wicked [leads to] trouble. The lips of the wise [spread] knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doesn’t [do that.]

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the [righteous] is His delight. The [path] of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but [God loves those who] follow after righteousness.

Correction is [harsh to those who abandon] the [path of the Lord] & he; [who hates correction] shall die. Hell & destruction are [in front of] the Lord: then, how much more [are] the hearts of the children of men [before the Lord?]

[Someone who looks down on others, doesn’t love those who correct] him: neither will he go to the wise. A [happy] heart [makes] a cheerful [face:] but the spirit is broken by a [sorrowful] heart.

[The heart of [those with] understanding, seek knowledge: but a [fool’s] mouth [feeds] on [what is] foolishness. All the days of the afflicted are [bad:] but he, [who has] a merry heart [has] a continual feast. [It] is better to [have a] little with the fear [respect] of the Lord, than great treasure & trouble [with that.]

[Philippians 4:12-13 I know both how to be [humbled] & how to [have plenty:] everywhere & in all things, I am instructed both to be full & to be hungry, both to be [humbled] & to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ, [Who] strengthens me.]

A dinner of herbs is better where love is, than a [fattened cow] & hatred [with that.] [An angry] man stirs up [arguments:] but he, [who] is slow to anger [calms quarrels.] The [path] of the [lazy] man is [like] a hedge of thorns: but the [path] of the righteous is made [straight.]

A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish man [despises] his mother. To those [without] wisdom, [a lack of good judgment,] is a joy: but a man of understanding walks [righteously.]

Without [advice, plans get turned around:] but with [many] counselors they are established. By the answer of his mouth, a man has joy & how good it is [when a] word [is] spoken [at the right time!]

To the wise, the way of life is above, [so] that he may depart from hell [below.] [John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth & the Life. No man comes to the Father, but by Me.]

The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but He will establish the [boundary] of a widow. The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the [blameless] are pleasant words.

He, [who] is greedy [in order to] gain [wealth] troubles his own house: but he [who] hates [bribes] shall live. The heart of the righteous studies [before answering:] but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

The Lord is far from the wicked: but He hears the prayer of the righteous. [Enlightened] eyes [cause] the heart [to] rejoice & a good report makes the bones [healthy.] The ear that hears the [correction that leads to] life, [lives] among the wise.

He, [who] refuses instruction, despises his own soul: but he, [who pays attention to correction] gets understanding. The fear [respect] of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom & humility is before honor.

Proverbs 14:1-35 Every Wise Woman Builds Up Her House

Every Wise Woman Builds Up Her House

Proverbs 14:1-35                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

Every wise woman [builds up] her house: but the foolish [pull] it down with her hands. He, [who walks righteously] fears [respects] the Lord: but he, [who is deceitful] in his ways, despises [the Lord.]

In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the [mouth] of the wise shall [safeguard] them. [Proverbs 12:6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait [in an ambush] for [bloodshed:] but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.]

The [feeding trough] is clean where no oxen are: but [when there are many oxen,] [they only eat] by the strength of the ox. A faithful witness won’t lie: but a false witness will utter lies. [An unbeliever seeks] wisdom & doesn’t] find it: but knowledge is easy to him, [who] understands.

Go [away] from the presence of a foolish man when [you realize he doesn’t have the mouth] of knowledge. The wisdom of the [cautious] is to understand [the Lord God’s] way: but deceit is [because of the lack of good judgment] of fools.

Fools mock at sin: but there is favor among the righteous. The heart [knows its] own bitterness & a stranger [doesn’t interfere] with his joy. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the [tent] of the [righteous] shall flourish.

There is a path that seems right to a man: but [but he needs to consider whether its] end, are the [paths that lead] to death. Even in laughter, the heart is sorrowful & the end of that [happiness is grief.]

The heart [of those who have gone astray] shall be filled with his own [deceitful] ways & a good man shall be satisfied [with] himself. The simple [minded] believe every word [someone tells them:] but the [cautious] man [checks it out for himself.]

A wise man fears [respects the Lord] & departs from evil: but the fool rages [on] & is [over] confident. He, [who is quickly] angry [acts] foolishly & a man [with] wicked [plans] is hated.

The simple [minded] inherit [a lack of good judgment:] but the [cautious] are crowned with knowledge. The evil bow [down] before the good & the wicked [bow] at the gates of the righteous.

The poor [are] hated even [by] his own neighbor: but the rich have many friends. He, [who despises] his neighbor sins: but he, [who has] mercy on the poor, is happy.

Don’t [those who plan] evil [go astray?] But mercy & truth shall be [for those who plan] good. There is profit in all labor: but [the idle chatter] of the lips [leads] only to [poverty.]

The crown of the wise is their riches: but the [ignorance] of fools is [a lack of good judgment.] [An honest] witness delivers [lives:] but a deceitful witness speaks lies.

His children [having] strong confidence in the fear [respect] of the Lord, shall have a place of refuge. The fear [respect] of the Lord, [leads to] a Fountain of Life, to depart from the snares of death. [Revelation 22:16-17 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify to you these things in the churches.

I Am the Root & the Offspring of David & the Bright & Morning Star. And the Spirit & the bride say, Come. And let him, [who hears] say, Come. And let him, [who is thirsty,] come. And [whoever is willing,] let him take the Water of Life freely.]

The king’s honor, is in the multitude of people: but the destruction of the prince, is in the [lack] of people. He, [who] is slow to [anger] is of great understanding: but he, [who has a quick temper, demonstrates a lack of good judgment.] The life of the [body comes from] a sound heart: but envy [rots] the bones.

He, [who] oppresses the poor, [disgusts] his Maker: but he [who honors the Lord] has mercy on the poor. The wicked [are] driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous [person] has [eternal] hope in his death.

[John 3:15-17 That [whoever] believes in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that [whoever] believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God [didn’t send] His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.]

Wisdom rests in the [hearts of those with] understanding: but [what] is in the midst of fools, is made known. Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a [disgrace] to any people. The king’s favor is toward a wise servant: but his [anger] is against [those who] cause shame.
