About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 26:1-46 Blessings if You Follow the Lord & Consequences for Not

The Blessings If You Follow the Lord & Consequences If You Choose Not To

Leviticus 26:1-46          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

[The LordGod continued to tell Moses:] You shall [not ]make [any] idols, [carved] images, & neither rear up. A. standing image, or set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God.

You shall keep My Sabbaths & [respect] My sanctuary. I am the Lord. If you walk in My [mandates] & keep My commandments & do them, then I will give you rain in due season. The land shall yield [its] produce & the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Your threshing [of grains] shall [last until] the time of vintage & the vintage shall [last until] the time of sowing & you shall eat your bread [until you’re] full & dwell in your land safely. I will give peace in the land & you shall lie down & none shall make you afraid.

I will rid the land of [wild animals] & the sword shall [not] go through your land. You shall chase your enemies & they shall fall before you, by the sword. Five of you will chase 100 & 100 of you shall put 10,000 to flight & your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

For I will have respect [for] you & make you fruitful & multiply you & establish My covenant [contract] with you. You shall eat the old [harvest stored] & [clear out] the old, because of the new [harvest.] I will set My tabernacle among you & My soul shall not [loathe] you.

I will walk among you & will be your God & you shall be My people. I am the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt, [so] you [would no longer] be their [slaves.] I have broken the bands of your yoke & I made you [walk with your head held high.]

But if you [don’t listen] to Me & do all these commandments & you despise My [mandates,] or your soul [loathes] My judgments, so that you will not do all My commandments & break My covenant [contract,] I will appoint terror over you, [Tuberculosis] & burning [fever,] which shall consume the eyes & cause sorrow to your heart.

You shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you & you shall be slain before your enemies. [Those who] hate you shall [rule] over you & you shall flee when no one [is pursuing] you. [After] all this, if you [don’t listen] to Me, then I will punish you 7 times more for your sins.

I will break the pride of your power & I will make your [sky above like] iron & your [ground like] brass. Your strength shall be [used] in vain, for your land [won’t] yield [its] increase [of produce] & neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

[Then,] if you [follow] contrary to Me & [you won’t listen] to Me, I will bring 7 times more plagues on you, according to your sins. I will also send wild [animals] among you, which shall rob you of your children, destroy your [livestock] & make you [so] few in number [that] your highways shall be [deserted.]

And if you aren’t reformed by Me [through] these things, but [still follow] contrary to Me; then I will also walk contrary to you & will punish you [another] 7 times for your sins.

I will bring a sword upon you, to avenge [your] quarrel [over] My covenant [contract] & when you are gathered together in your cities, I will send pestilence among you. You shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

When I have [cut off your supply] of bread & 10 women shall bake your bread in 1 oven. They shall deliver your bread again by weight & you shall eat it & not be satisfied.

If you [still won’t listen] to Me [after] all this & [follow] contrary to Me, then in [My anger] I will walk contrary to you I will [punish] you 7 [more] times for your sins.

You shall eat the flesh of your sons & daughters. I will destroy your high places & will cut down your images & cast your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols & My soul shall [loathe] you.

I will make your cities [into a] waste [land] & bring your sanctuaries [to] desolation. I won’t smell the [scent] of your sweet [aroma.] I will bring the land to desolation & your enemies [who] dwell in [it] shall be astonished [by] it.

v33 I will scatter you among the heathen & will draw out the sword after you & your land & cities shall be wasted & [deserted.] Then the land shall enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies [deserted] & you [are] in your enemies’ land.

Then shall the land rest for the time it didn’t rest on your Sabbaths, when you dwelt in it. For those of you who are left & alive, I will [make their hearts fearful,] in the lands of your enemies, [so] they will flee from the sound of a shaken leaf, [like] fleeing from [someone with] a sword & they will fall when no one is [chasing them.]

They shall [stumble over] one another, as if [they] were before [someone with] a sword [when no one is chasing them] & you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

You shall perish among the heathen [nations who worship idols] & the land of your enemies shall eat you up. Those of you who are left shall [regret] their iniquity & their [forefathers’] iniquity [as you waste away in] your enemies’ lands.

[But] if they confess their iniquity & the iniquity of their [forefathers] & their [unfaithful offenses] against Me & how they [also turned their back on] Me, [so] that I also [turned My back on them] & brought them into the land of their enemies.

If [they] humble their uncircumcised hearts & accept the guilt of their iniquities, then I will remember My covenant [contract] with Jacob [aka Israel,] Isaac & Abraham & will remember the land.

The land shall also be left [to rest without] them & it will enjoy [its] Sabbaths while it [lies] desolate without them. [But] if they will accept their punishment of their [iniquities,] because they despised My judgments & their souls [hated] My statutes.

Yet, when they are in the land of their enemies, I won’t cast them away, neither shall I [despise] them to utterly destroy them & break My covenant [contract]  with them: for I am the Lord their God.

But for their sakes, I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I [the Lord your God] brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the [nations who worship idols,] [so] that I might be their God.

I am the Lord. These are the statutes, judgments & laws which the Lord made between [Himself] & the children [people] of Israel on Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

Leviticus 25:1-55 The Year of Jubilee & the Laws for Indentured Servants

The Year of Jubilee & the Laws for Indentured Servants

Leviticus 25:1-55          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses [on] Mount Sinai, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, When you come into the land [that] I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to the Lord.

[For] 6 years you shall sow your field & prune your vineyard & gather [its] fruit [of it]; But in the 7th year there shall be a Sabbath of rest [for] the land, a Sabbath for the Lord. You shall neither sow your field, nor prune your vineyard.

[What] grows of its own accord of your harvest, you shall not reap, neither gather the grapes of your [untended] vine, for it is a year of rest [for] the land.

The Sabbath of the land shall be [food] for: you, your servant & maid, your hired servant & your stranger [who dwells] with you & for your [livestock] & the [beasts] in your land. All the increase [of it] shall be [food for them.]

You shall [count ] 7 Sabbaths of years [for yourself,] 7 times 7 years, & the space of 7 Sabbaths of years shall be [for] you 49 years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of Jubilee to sound on the 10th day of the 7th month, [on] the Day of Atonement, you shall make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

You shall [honor as holy the] 50th year. You shall proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants [of it.] It shall be a Jubilee [for] you & you shall return every man to his possession & you shall return every man to his family.

That 50th year shall be a Jubilee to you & in it, you shall neither sow nor reap [what] grows [on its own,] nor gather the grapes of [its untended] vine. For it is the Jubilee & it shall be holy to you & you shall eat [its increase of produce from] the field.

In this year of Jubilee, you shall return every man to his possession. If you sell [anything] to your neighbor or buy [anything] from him, you shall not oppress one another.

According to the number of years after the Jubilee, you shall buy [from] your neighbor & according to the number of years of [crops] he shall sell to you. According to the multitude of years, you shall increase the price [of it] & [if there are few] years [until Jubilee] you shall [reduce] the price [of it.]

For according to the number of years of the [crops,] he [sells] unto you. You shall not oppress one another, but you shall fear [respect] the Lord your God. For I am the Lord your God. [Therefore] you shall do My [mandates] & keep My judgments & do them & you shall [live] in the land in safety.

The land shall [give] her fruit & you shall eat your fill & [live in it] in safety. If you say, What shall we eat [in] the 7th year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase [of produce.] Then, I will command My blessing upon you in the 6th year & it shall bring [enough] fruit for 3 years.

You shall sow [seed] the 8th year & [still] eat old [produce] until the 9th year; until her [produce comes] in, you shall eat of the [stored produce.] The land shall not be sold forever: for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and [temporary residents] with Me.

In all the land of your possession, you shall grant a redemption for the land. If your brother [becomes] poor & has sold away some of his [possessions] & if any of his [relatives] come to redeem it, then he shall redeem [what] his brother sold.

If the man has [no one] to redeem it & he [is unable] to redeem it [himself;] then let him count the years [from the time] of the sale [of the property until Jubilee] & restore [any overage] to the man to whom he sold it; [so] his possession may return to him.

But if he [can’t afford to redeem his property,] then the [sold property] shall remain [with the person who] bought it, until the year of Jubilee. In Jubilee, [it shall be released to the original owner as] his possession.

If a man [sells his] house in a walled city, then he may [pay what is owed &] redeem it within a whole year after it is sold. If it [isn’t] redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house in the walled city, shall [belong to the person who] bought it throughout his generations & it shall not [be returned] in the year of Jubilee.

[But] the houses [that are sold] in the villages that have no [walls around] them, shall be counted [the same] as the fields of the country & they may be redeemed & they shall be [released] in Jubilee.

[Nevertheless] the cities of the Levites [who do the duty of the church] & the houses [in] the cities of their [possessions,] the Levites may redeem [them at any time.]

If a man [purchases a house] from a Levite, then the house which was sold [in] the city of his possession, shall be [released] in the year of Jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children [people] of Israel. But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold, for it is their perpetual possession.

If [one of your brethren becomes] poor & [falls into poverty among] you, then you shall [help] him, [even] though he [is] a stranger, or a [temporary resident, so] he may live with you.

[Deuteronomy 15:10-11 You shall surely give [to] him & your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because the Lord, your God, shall bless you for this thing, in all [you do] & all you put your hand to. For the poor shall never cease out of the land. Therefore, I command you, saying, You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor & to the needy, in your land.

Take no [interest] or [profit from] him. But fear [respect] your God, [so] that your brother may live with you. You shall not [lend] him your money for [interest,] nor lend him your [food] for [profit.] I am the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan & to be your God.

If your brother [who] dwells [near] you [becomes] poor & [sells himself] to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a bond servant. [He shall be with you like] a hired servant & [temporary resident.] He shall serve you until the year of Jubilee & then he shall depart from you.

Both he & his children with him & shall return to his own family & to the possession of his fathers.

For they are My servants, [whom] I brought [forward] out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen. You shall not rule over him with [rigor,] but you shall fear [respect] your God.

Both your bondmen & bondmaids, which you have, shall be [from] the heathen [nations around] you & you [may] buy bondmen & bondmaids [from] them & the strangers & [temporary residents, who stay] among you & [from] their families that are with you, [which were fathered] in your land.

They shall be your possession & you shall [pass them down] as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them as a possession. They shall be your bondmen forever: you shall not rule over another [Israelite] with rigor.

If [a temporary resident] or stranger [becomes wealthy] by you & your brother [who] dwells with you [becomes] poor & [sells] himself to the stranger or [temporary resident, or to their family near] you: After he [has been sold for his debt,] he may be redeemed again, one of his brethren may redeem him [by paying what is owed.]

Either his uncle, his uncle’s son, or any [near relative] may redeem him, or if he is able, he may redeem [himself.]

The [amount paid to redeem him needs to be figured out] with the person [who] purchased him, from the year that he was sold to him [until] the year of Jubilee & the price of the sale shall be according to the number of years, according to the [rate paid for that time] of a hired servant.

If there are [still] many years [remaining until the year of Jubilee,] according to [those] he shall pay the price of his redemption [the difference] of the money he was bought for.

If there [are only] a few years [remaining until] the year of Jubilee, they are to count them with him & according to his years, he shall give him again the price of his redemption.

[They are to be treated like a] yearly hired servant & shall be with him. And the other shall not rule over him with rigor, in your sight. If he [hasn’t already] been redeemed in these years, then he shall [be released] in the year of Jubilee, both he & his children with him. For to Me, the children [people] of Israel are servants

They are My servants, whom I brought [forward] out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord, your God.

Leviticus 24:1-23 Penalties for Blaspheming the Lord or for Killing

Penalties for Blaspheming the Lord or for Killing

Leviticus 24:1-23          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Command the children [people] of Israel, [so] they bring pure beaten olive oil to you for the light, [so] it can burn continually [outside] the veil of the Testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation.

Aaron shall [be in charge] & order the lamps on the pure [gold] candlestick [to stay lit] from evening to morning, before the Lord continually. It shall be a [mandate] forever in your generations.

You shall take fine flour & bake 12 cakes [with it using] 2/10 of an [ephah in each] cake. They shall [be] set in 2 rows of 6, on a pure table before the Lord. You shall put pure frankincense on each row [of] bread for a memorial, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Every Sabbath, [Aaron] shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children [people] of Israel by an everlasting covenant [contract.] It [is for Aaron] & his sons & they shall eat it in the holy place; for it is most holy to him [from] the offerings of the Lord made by fire [as] a perpetual [mandate.]

The son of an [Israelite] woman, [Shelomith,] whose father was an Egyptian, (and his mother was [Debri’s] daughter of the tribe of Dan. The son of the [Israelite] woman went among the [people] of Israel. [Her] son & an [Israelite] man [fought] together in the camp.

The [Israelite] woman’s son blasphemed the Name of the Lord & cursed. They brought him to Moses & they put him [under guard, until] the mind of the Lord might be [shown] to them.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Bring [out] the one [who] has cursed [outside] the camp & let all [who] heard him lay their hands on his head [while] all the congregation [stones] him.

[Then] you shall speak to the [people] of Israel, saying, [Whoever] curses his God shall bear his sin & he [who] blasphemes the Name of the Lord, shall surely be put to death & all the congregation shall certainly stone him, [as well as] the stranger [who] is born in the land. When he blasphemes the Name of the Lord, he shall be put to death.

[Whoever] kills any man, shall surely be put to death. He [who] kills [an animal] shall make it good; [& replace animal for animal.] If a man [causes a disfiguring injury, to] his neighbor, [the same] shall be done to him; [fracture for fracture,] eye for eye, tooth for tooth, as he has caused, it shall be done to him, [as well.]

He [who] kills [an animal] shall restore it & he [who] kills a man, shall be put to death. You shall have one [type] of law for the stranger, as well [as, for someone from] your own country.

For I am the Lord your God. Moses [spoke] to the children [people] of Israel, that they should bring [the person out, who] cursed out of the camp & stone him. The [people] of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.

And he shall wave the sheaf [of grain] before the Lord, to be accepted for you.

[On the day] after the Sabbath, the priest shall wave it. [On the same] day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb of the 1st year without blemish for a burnt offering to the Lord.

They shall be a burnt offering to the Lord with their [meat/grain] offering & drink offerings as an offering made by fire [for] a sweet [aroma] to the Lord [God.]

Then you shall sacrifice 1 kid [goat] as a sin offering & 2 lambs of the 1st year as a sacrifice of a Peace Offering. The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the 2 lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.

You shall proclaim [that] same day that it is a holy [assembly] to you & you shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] It shall be a [mandate] to you forever in all dwellings throughout your generations. When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not [totally] reap the corners of your field, [nor] gather any [gleanings] from your harvest.

You shall leave them [for] the poor & [for] the stranger. I am the Lord your God. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to children [people] of Israel, saying, In the 7th month on the 1st day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath [rest,] a memorial of blowing of trumpets & a holy [assembly.]

You shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.] But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Also, on the 10th day of this 7th month, there shall be a Day of Atonement.

It shall be a holy [assembly for] you & you shall [humble] your souls & [make] an offering made by fire to the Lord. You shall not do [any strenuous] work [on] that same day, [because] it is a Day of Atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.

For [whoever hasn’t humbled] their soul that same day, shall be cut off from among his people. I will destroy [any person] from among his people [who] does any work that same day. You shall not do [any type] of work. It shall be a [mandate] forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

It shall be a Sabbath of rest & you shall [humble yourselves.] In the 9th day of the month at [evening,] from [evening] to [evening,] you shall celebrate your Sabbath. The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, The 15th day of the 7th month, shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for 7 days to the Lord [your God.]

On the 8th day you shall have a holy [assembly for] you. You shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a solemn assembly & you shall not do [any strenuous] work [on it.]

These are the Feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy [assemblies,] to [present] offerings made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering & a [meat/grain] offering & a sacrifice & drink offerings, everything on [its] day: [in addition to] the Sabbaths to the Lord, [in addition to:] your gifts, all your vows, all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord.

Also, on the 15th day of the 7th month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep [the] Feast of the Lord for 7 days & the 1st day [there] shall be a Sabbath [rest] & on the 8th day shall be a Sabbath [rest.]

On the 1st day, you shall take for yourselves the [branches of strong:] trees, palm trees, thick trees & willows of the brook & you shall rejoice before the Lord for 7 days. You shall keep it as a Feast to the Lord, your God, 7 days in the year. It shall be a [mandate] forever in your generations & you shall celebrate it in the 7th month.

You, [who] are [native] born Israelites shall dwell in booths for 7 days, [so] your generations may know that I made the children [people] of Israel dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God. Moses declared the Feasts of the Lord to the children of Israel.

Leviticus 22:1-33 Those Allowed to Eat the Holy Things Dedicated to the Lord God

Those Allowed to Eat the Holy Things Dedicated to the Lord God

Leviticus 22:1-33          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to Aaron & his sons, [so] they separate themselves from the holy things of the children [people] of Israel. and that they [don’t] profane My holy Name [by] those things they [sanctify] to Me.

[Numbers 18:31-32 and you shall eat it in every place, you and your households. for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle [from] the congregation. And you shall bear no sin, [because] of it, when you have heaved from it, the best of it. Neither shall you [defile] the holy things of the children of Israel, lest you die.]

Say to them, [Whoever] of all your [offspring] among your generations, [who] goes to the holy things, [who has any] uncleanness shall be cut off from My presence, if he goes to the holy things, [that] that the [people] of Israel [sanctified] to Me. I am the Lord.

[Leviticus 7:20 But the [person who] eats of the [meat] of the sacrifice of Peace Offerings, that [pertains] to the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, even that [person] shall be cut off from his people.] [Whatever] man of [Aaron’s lineage who:] is a leper, or has a [discharge,] shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean.

[Anyone who] touches anything that is unclean by: the dead, or a man [who has emitted semen] or any creeping [creatures that] made [him] unclean, or a man of whom may [pass on whatever] uncleanness he has; [he] shall be unclean until [evening] & shall not eat of the holy things, unless he [washes] his [body] with water. He shall be clean at [sundown] & afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his food.

He shall not eat [an animal] that has died of itself, or is torn [by] beasts & defile himself with [them.] I am the Lord. They shall keep My [rules,] lest they bear the [guilt] for it & die, if they profane it. I, the Lord, do sanctify them.

No stranger, hired servant, or stranger [who lodges with] the priest shall eat the holy [things.] If a [person] is born in the [priest’s] house or he [buys] a [person, they] may eat of his [meat/food.] If the priest’s daughter is married to a stranger, she may not eat of the offering of the holy things.

But if the priest’s daughter is a widow, or divorced & has no child & [has] returned to her father’s house [like when she was young,] she may eat of her father’s [meat/food,] but no stranger [may] eat [of it.] If a man eats of the holy [things without realizing it,] then, he shall add 1/5 [more] to it & give it to the priest with the holy thing.

They shall not profane the holy [things which] the [people] of Israel offer to the Lord, or they will bear [their guilt for their sin,] when they eat the holy things. For I, the Lord, do sanctify them.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to Aaron, his sons & all the children [people] of Israel & say to them, [Whoever] is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, [who] offers for his vows [any offering] & all his freewill offerings which they offer to the Lord for a burnt offering; he shall offer [it] of his own will, or a sacrifice of a Peace Offering to accomplish his vow, shall offer a male without blemish of: [beef,] sheep or goats. It shall be perfect. There shall be no blemish [in it.]

But it [won’t] be acceptable for you to offer [any animal] that has a blemish, is blind, broken, [injured,] or [has an ulcer, or discharge,] scurvy, or [scab, it] shall not be [offered] to the Lord, nor make an offering by fire [with] them upon the altar to the Lord.

You may [use a bull] or a lamb that has [a limb that is too long or too short,] or [deformed,] or lacking any of [its] parts, for a freewill offering, but it [won’t] be acceptable for a vow.

[Neither] shall you offer to the Lord [what] is bruised, crushed, broken, or cut. Neither shall you make any offering [of these] in your land. Neither from a stranger’s hand, shall you  offer the bread of your God [for] any of these, because their corruption & blemishes [are] in them. They shall not be [acceptable] for you.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses saying, When a [bull,] sheep, or goat is brought [out,] it [shall be with its mother] 7 days. From the 8th day [on,] it shall be [acceptable] for an offering made by fire to the Lord. Whether it’s a cow or a [female sheep,] you shall not kill it and her young [offspring on the same] day.

When you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, offer it [of] your own free will. It shall be [totally] eaten on the 1st day & leave none of it to the next day]: I am the Lord. Therefore, you shall keep My commandments & do them.

I am the Lord. Neither shall you [defile] My Holy Name, but I will be [holy] among the [people] of Israel: I am the Lord [who sanctifies] you & [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord.
