About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 5:1-19 Various Offerings Made to the Lord

Various Offerings Made to the Lord

Leviticus 5:1-19    The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

If a [person] sins & hears an [oath] & is a witness [of] whether he has seen or knows of it & doesn’t [tell] it, he bears his guilt. Or if a person swears an [oath rashly] with his lips to do evil or to do good & he is unaware of it.

When he [realizes] his guilt in any of these things, he shall confess his sin. Or if [a person touches] any unclean thing, whether [it’s] a carcass of an unclean beast, [livestock], or unclean creeping things or if he touches any human uncleanness [that may defile a man] & he is unaware of it].

When he [realizes] his guilt in any of these things, he shall confess his sin. He shall bring a trespass offering to the Lord for his sin he has [done of a:] female lamb or kid goat without blemish, for a sin offering & the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

If he isn’t able to bring a lamb, he shall bring 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons,1 for a sin offering & the other for a burnt offering to the Lord. He shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer [the]1 for the sin offering 1st & wring off [its] head from [its] neck, but shall not divide it [apart].

[The priest] shall sprinkle the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar & the rest of the blood should be wrung out at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering. He shall offer the 2nd according to the manner for burnt offerings & the priest shall make an atonement for his sin, which he has [done] & it shall be forgiven him.

If he isn’t able to bring 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons, then the person [who sinned] shall bring for his sin offering; 1/10 of an ephah of fine flour with no oil [on] it, neither shall he put any frankincense [on it]: for it is a sin offering.

Then he shall bring it to the priest [who] will take his memorial handful of it & burn it on the altar according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. It is a sin offering. The priest shall make an atonement [for] his sin in one of these & it shall be forgiven him & the [rest] shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, If [the person] commits a trespass & sins [unaware]  [to pay the things to be devoted] to the Lord, then he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with [an] estimation of silver, after the the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.

He shall make amends for [the failure of his payment] for the Lord & shall add a 1/5 part [to it] & give it to the priest [who] shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering & it shall be forgiven him.

If [a person sins] & [commits] any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he didn’t know it, yet he is guilty & shall bear his [guilt].

He shall bring the priest a ram without blemish [from] the flock with your estimation [of silver] for a trespass offering to the priest.

The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his ignorance [in which] he erred & didn’t know it & it shall be forgiven him. It is a trespass offering; he has certainly trespassed against the Lord.

Leviticus 4:1-35 Sin Offering to the Lord

Sin Offering to the Lord

Leviticus 4:1-35            The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to the children [people] of Israel, saying, If a [person] shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord & [does] any of [those things that shouldn’t have been] done against any of them;

[Or] if the anointed priest [sins] according to the sin of the people; then, let him bring a young [bull] without blemish for a sin offering, [for his sins.] And he shall bring the [bull] to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord. And [he] shall lay his hand upon the [bull’s] head & kill the [bull] before the Lord.

And the priest that is anointed shall take the [bull’s] blood & bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood & sprinkle the blood 7 times before the Lord [in front of] the [veil] of the sanctuary.

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation & shall pour all the [remaining] blood of the [bull] at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And he shall [cut] off from it all the fat of the [bull] for a sin offering. The fat that covers the [internal parts] & all the fat that is upon the [internal parts] & the 2 kidneys & the fat upon them, which is by the flanks & the [fatty lobe] above the liver with the kidneys.

He shall take it away [like] it was taken off from the [bull] of the sacrifice of [the] Peace Offerings. And the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering. And the skin of the [bull] & all his flesh, with his head, legs, [internal parts & feces,] he shall carry [outside] the camp to a clean place, even the whole [bull,] to where the ashes are poured out & [the bull] shall be burnt.

[Or] if the whole congregation [sins] through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord & the thing is [hidden] from the eyes of the assembly & they have done [something that] shouldn’t be done & are guilty;

When the sin, which they have sinned against, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young [bull without blemish] for the sin & bring him [in front of] the tabernacle of the congregation.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the [bull] before the Lord. And the [bull] shall be [killed] before the Lord. And the anointed priest shall bring [some] of the [bull’s] blood to the tabernacle of the congregation. And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood & sprinkle it 7 times before the Lord, even [in front of] the [veil.]

And [the priest] shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar, which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation & shall pour out all the [remaining] blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And [the priest] shall take all [the bull’s] fat from him & burn it upon the altar. And he shall do with the [bull, just like] he did with the [bull] for a sin offering. He shall do so with this.

And the priest shall make an atonement for them & [they] shall be forgiven. And he shall carry [out] the [bull outside] the came & burn him [like] he burned the 1st [bull.] It is a sin offering for the congregation.

[Or] when a ruler has sinned & done [something] through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God, concerning things that shouldn’t be done & is guilty; [Or] if [the ruler’s] sin comes to his knowledge, he shall bring a male kid goat without blemish for his offering.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat & kill it in the place where they kill the [animal of] the burnt offering before the Lord. It is a sin offering. and the priest shall take [some] of the blood of the sin offering with his finger & put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering & shall pour out [its] blood at the bottom of that altar of burnt offering.

And [the priest] shall burn all [its] fat upon the altar, [like] the fat of the sacrifice of the Peace Offerings. And the priest shall make atonement for [the ruler, related] to his sin & [he] shall be forgiven.

If any of the common people sin through ignorance & does [something] against any of the commandments of the Lord, [related to] things [that shouldn’t] be done & is guilty, [Or] if his sin, that he’s] sinned, [comes] to his knowledge, he shall bring his offering, a female, kid goat without blemish, for his sin which he has [done.]

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering & [kill] the [kid goat which is] the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. And the priest shall take [some] of [its] blood with his finger & put it upon the horns of the altar of [the] burnt offering & shall pour out all the [remaining] blood at the bottom of the altar.

And he shall take away all [its] fat, [like] the fat [was] taken away from the sacrifice of [the] Peace Offerings. And the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet [aroma] to the Lord. And the priest shall make an atonement for him & [he] shall be forgiven.

And if he [brings] a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish. And he shall lay his [hands] upon the head of the [animal of] the sin offering  & [kill] it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the [animal for the] burnt offering.

And the priest shall take [some] of the blood of the sin offering with his finger & put it upon the horns of the altar of [the] burnt offering & shall pour out all the [remaining] blood at the bottom of the altar. And he shall take away all [its] fat, [like] the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the Peace Offerings.

And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. And the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he has committed & [he] shall be forgiven.

Peace Offerings to the Lord

All the fat is the Lord’s.

[Except when] he shall offer the sacrifice of [a lamb as a] Peace Offering made by fire to the Lord. He shall [also cut] away: the fat [of it] & the whole fat rump, shall [be taken] off, [cut off close to] the backbone of the lamb & is burnt with the fat that covers & is upon the [internal parts.] And the 2 kidneys & the fat on them, which is by the flanks & the [fatty lobe] above the liver, with the kidneys.

[Leviticus 7:22-27 And the Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, saying, You shall eat no [type] of fat [from an:] ox, sheep, [or] goat. And the fat of the [animal] that dies of itself & the fat of [the animal] torn by beasts, may be used [for] any other use, but you shall in no [way] eat it. For [whoever] eats the fat of the [animal,] of which men offer [as] an offering made by fire to the Lord, even the [person who] eats it, shall be cut off from the people.

[Also,] you shall eat no [type] of blood, whether it [is] of your [birds or animals,] in any of your dwellings. [Any person who] eats any [type] of blood, even that [person] shall be cut off from his people.]

Exodus 40:1-37 Putting the Tabernacle of the Lord Together According to the Lord’s Plan

Putting the Tabernacle of the Lord Together According to the Lord’s Plan

Exodus 40:1-37            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

The Lord said to Moses, saying, On the 1st day of the 1st month, you shall set up the Tabernacle of the tent of the congregation. You shall put the Ark of the Testimony [in it] & cover the Ark with a [veil] & bring in the table & [put] in order the things that are to be set upon it.

You shall bring in the candlestick & light [its] lamps. You shall set the altar of gold for the incense [in front of] the Ark of the Testimony & put [up] the hanging [screen for] the door to the Tabernacle. [Then,] you shall set the altar of the burnt offering [in front of] the door of the Tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

You shall set the [basin & its base] between the tent of the congregation & the altar & put water [in it] & set up [all around] the [courtyard] & hang up the hanging [screen] at the [courtyard] gate.

And you shall take the anointing oil & anoint the Tabernacle & all that is [in it] & shall hallow it & all [its] vessels [utensils] & it shall be holy. You shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering & all [its] vessels [utensils] & sanctify the altar. The altar shall be most holy.

You shall anoint the [basin] & [its base] & sanctify it. You shall bring Aaron & his sons to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation & wash them with water. You shall put on Aaron the holy garments & anoint & sanctify him, [so] that he may minister to Me in the priest’s office.

You shall bring [Aaron’s] sons & clothe them with coats & you shall anoint them, as you [anointed] their father, that they may minister to Me in the priest’s office; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

[This] Moses did; according to all that the Lord commanded him & he did so. It came to pass in the 1st month of the 2nd year, on the 1st day of the month, that the Tabernacle was [raised] up. So Moses [raised] up the Tabernacle, fastened [its] sockets, set up [its] boards, put in [its] bars & raised up [its] pillars.

And [Moses] spread [out] the tent over the Tabernacle & put the covering of the tent [on top of] it, as the Lord commanded Moses. [Moses] put the Testimony into the Ark & [inserted] the [poles] through the rings of the Ark & put the mercy seat [on top] of the Ark.

He brought the Ark into the Tabernacle & set up the [veil] of the covering & covered the Ark of the Testimony, as the Lord commanded Moses. He put the table in the tent of the congregation on the [north] side of the Tabernacle [outside] the [veil.]

He set the bread in order upon [the table] before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses. He put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table on the [south side] of the Tabernacle. He [lit] the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.

He put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation [in front of] the [veil] & he burned sweet incense [on it,] as the Lord had commanded Moses. He set up the hanging [screen] at the door of the Tabernacle.

He put the altar of burnt offering at the door of the Tabernacle, of the tent of the congregation & offered upon it the burnt offering & meat offering; as the Lord commanded Moses.

And he set the [basin] & [its base] between the tent of the congregation & the altar & put water there [for washing] & Moses, Aaron & his sons washed their hands & feet with water [there.]

[Whenever] they went into the Tabernacle of the congregation & when they came [near] the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses. He [raised] up the [courtyard all around] the Tabernacle & the altar & set up the hanging [screen] of the [courtyard] gate. So Moses finished the work.

Then, a cloud covered the tent of the congregation & the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. Moses wasn’t able to enter the tent of the congregation, because the cloud [rested above it] & the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

[Whenever] the cloud was taken up from over the Tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in their journeys. But if the cloud was not taken up, then they didn’t journey till the day that it was taken up.

For the cloud of the Lord was upon the Tabernacle by day & fire was [over it] by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

Exodus 39:1-43 Assembling the Garments for the Priests According to the Lord’s Design

Assembling the Garments for the Priests According to the Lord’s Design

Exodus 39:1-43            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

They made the [clothes] of service, for [ministering] in the Holy Place & made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord commanded Moses, of blue, purple & scarlet The ephod [decorative vestment of the high priest] was made of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen.

They [hammered] the gold into thin [sheets] & cut it into wires, to work it into the blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & the fine linen with [skillful artistic] work. They made shoulder [straps] for it that were coupled together [at its] 2 edges.

The [intricately woven] girdle of his ephod was of the same [workmanship] & was [woven] of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & of fine [woven] linen, as the Lord commanded Moses. They [set] onyx stones enclosed in [settings] of gold & they were [carved] with the [12] names of the sons of Israel [like signet rings] are [carved.]

He put them on the shoulders of the ephod [as] memorial stones for the [sons] of Israel as the Lord commanded Moses. The breastplate was of [skillful artistic] work [woven] like the [workmanship] of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen.

The breastplate was doubled & was a square, 1 span [long] x 1 span [wide when] doubled. In it, they set 4 rows of stones enclosed in [settings] of gold in the [mountings.] The 1st row was: a [ruby,] topaz & [red garnet.] The 2nd row: an emerald, sapphire & a diamond.

The 3rd row: a [jacinth,] agate & amethyst. The 4th row: a [crystal,] onyx & jasper. [Each of the 12 stones was [carved] with a different name of the 12 sons] of Israel [a.k.a. Jacob,] according to the 12 tribes. They made for the ends of the breastplate [like braided cord] of pure gold.

They also made 2 [settings] of gold & 2 gold rings & put the 2 [braided] chains of gold in the 2 rings on the end of the breastplate & fastened the ends of the 2 [braided] chains in the 2 [settings] & put them on the shoulder [straps] of the [front] of the ephod.

They [also] made 2 rings of gold & put them on the 2 ends on the inward side of the ephod. They made 2 other golden rings & put them on the 2 shoulder [straps] underneath the ephod toward [its front,]over against [its] other [seam,] above the [intricately woven] girdle [sash] of the ephod.

They [bound] the breastplate by [means] of [its] rings, to the rings of the ephod with a blue lace, [so] that it [would] be above the [intricately woven] girdle of the ephod & [so] that the breastplate would not [come loose] from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.

He made the robe of the ephod all of blue woven work & there was an [opening] in the middle of the robe, [like the opening] in a coat of mail,] with a [woven binding] all around the opening, so that it [wouldn’t tear.]

On the [hem ]of the robe, they [alternated] pomegranates of blue, purple & scarlet & fine [woven] linen & bells made of pure gold in between the pomegranates [in a pattern] all around the hem of the robe to minister in, as the Lord commanded Moses.

They made [artistically] woven coats of fine linen for Aaron & his sons & a [turban] of fine linen & [decorated hats] of fine linen & linen [trousers] of fine [woven] linen [worn as an undergarment beneath the robes] & a [sash] of fine [woven] linen with blue, purple & scarlet [thread] of needlework, as the Lord commanded Moses.

They made the [inscription] plate of the holy crown of pure gold & wrote on it like the engraving of a signet [ring, that said]: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. They tied to it a blue [cord] to fasten it high upon the [turban]; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Thus all the work of the Tabernacle [for] the tent of the congregation was finished & the children of Israel did according to all the Lord had commanded Moses & they did so.

They brought to Moses: the Tabernacle, the tent & all [its furnishings, its clasps,] boards, bars, pillars & [its] sockets; and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of badgers’ skins & the [veil] of covering; the Ark of the Testimony, [with its poles] & mercy seat; the table, all [its] vessels [utensils,]

and the show bread; the pure [gold] candlestick with [its] lamps, even with lamps to be set in order, all [its] vessels [utensils] & the oil for the light; the golden altar, the anointing oil & the sweet incense; the hanging [screen] for the Tabernacle door; the [brass] altar, [its] grate of brass, [its poles] & all [its] vessels [utensils,]

the [basin] & [its base]; the hangings of the [courtyard, its] pillars & sockets, the hanging [screen] for the [courtyard] gate, [its] cords & [its pegs]; all the vessels [utensils for] the service of the Tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

The [clothes] of the service to [minister] in the Holy Place, the holy garments of Aaron, the priest & his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office. According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, the children of Israel made all the work so. Moses looked [over] all the work & [saw,] they had done it; as the Lord commanded. They had even done it so & Moses blessed them.
