About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 20:1-47 The Priest, Scribes & Elders Try to Test Jesus

The Priest, Scribes & Elders Try to Test Jesus

Luke 20:1-47          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

On one of those days, as [Jesus] preached the Gospel & taught the people in the temple, it [happened,] that the chief priests, scribes & elders came [to] [Jesus,] & [spoke] to Him, saying, Tell us, by what authority You [do] these things?

Or Who is He, [Who] gives You this authority? And [Jesus] answered I said to them, I will also ask you one thing, & answer Me. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or [from] men?

And they reasoned [among] themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; [Jesus] will say, Then, why [haven't] you believed him? But if we say, [From] men; all the people will stone us. For they [are] persuaded that John was a prophet. And they answered, that they couldn't tell [where] it was [from.] And Jesus said to them, Neither [will] I tell you, by what authority I do these things.

*Then [Jesus] began to speak this parable to the people. [Psalm 78:1-4 [Listen,] O My people, to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old, [that] we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] the praises of the Lord, His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a.miracles,] He has done, to the generation to come.]

A certain man planted a vineyard, & [rented] it [out] to [farmers,] & went into a [distant] country for a long time. And at the [harvest] season, he sent a servant to the [farmers, so] that they should give him [some] of the fruit [from] the vineyard. But the [farmers] beat him, & sent him away empty [handed.]

And again, he sent another servant. And they also beat him, & [treated] him shamefully, & sent him away empty [handed.] And again, he sent a 3rd [servant,] & they also wounded him, & [threw] him out.

Then, the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved Son. It may be [that] they will [respect] him when they see him. But when the [farmers] saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, [so] that the inheritance may be ours.

So, they cast him out of the vineyard, & killed him. Therefore, what shall the lord of the vineyard do to them. He shall come & destroy these [farmers,] & shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. [Romans 11:2-4 God hasn't cast away His people, [that] He [previously] knew.

[Don't you know,] what the Scriptures say of [Elijah?] How [Elijah made] intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed Your prophets, & [tore] down Your altars. And I am left alone, & they seek my life. And what [did] God answer to him? I have reserved to Myself 7,000 men, who haven't bowed [their] knee to the image of Baal.]

*And [Jesus saw] them, & said, What is this then, that was written, The stone [that] the builders reject, the same [has] become the head of the corner? [Acts 4:19-12 If we [are] examined this day [for] the good deed done to this [lame] man, by what means is he made whole. It [should] be known to all of you, & to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, Whom God raised from the dead, even by Him, [does] this man stand here [in front of] you whole. *This is the stone which was [put] to [nothing by] you builders, [Who] has become the head of the corner.]

[Whoever] shall fall upon that stone shall be broken, but on [whomever] it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. [1 Peter 2:7-8 *Therefore, to you [who] believe, [Christ] is precious. But to [those, who are] disobedient, the stone [that] the builders [rejected,] the same is made the head of the corner. *And a stone [causing] stumbling, & a rock [causing] offence, even to [those, who] being disobedient, stumble at the Word [of God.] Which they were also appointed [to.

And the chief priests, & scribes sought to lay hands on [Jesus that] same hour. And they feared the people, for they [realized] that [Jesus] had spoken this parable against them.

And they watched [Jesus,] & sent [out] spies, [who] should [pretend] [to be] just, [a.k.a. righteous,] men, [so] that they might [manipulate Jesus'] Words, so that they might deliver [Jesus] to the power & authority of the governor.

And they asked [Jesus,] saying, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] we know that You [say] & [teach correctly.] Neither [do] You accept the [status] of any person, but truly [teach] the way of God. Is it lawful for us to give tribute, [a.k.a. taxes,] to Caesar, or [not?] But [Jesus realized] their craftiness, & said to them, Why [do] you [test] Me? [Show] me a penny. Whose image & [inscription] [does] it [have?]

They answered & said, Caesar's. And [Jesus] said to them, Therefore, [give] to Caesar, the things [that are] Caesar's, & to God, the things [that are] God's. And they couldn't [seize Jesus'] Words [in front of] the people. And they [marveled] at [Jesus'] answer, & held their peace.

Then, [some] of the Sadducees, [who] deny that there is any resurrection, came to [Jesus] & they asked Him. Saying, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] Moses wrote to us, If any man's brother [dies,] having a wife, & he [dies] without children, that his brother should take his wife, & raise up [offspring] to his brother.

Therefore, there were 7 [brothers.] And the 1st took a wife, & died without children. And the 2nd [married] her, & he died childless. And the 3rd took her; & [similarly,] the 7 also died, & they left no children. Last of all, the woman also died. Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife is she of [those? ]For [all] 7 [married] her.

And answering, Jesus said to them, The children, [a.k.a. people,] of this world marry, & are given in marriage. But [those, who] shall [are considered] worthy to obtain the world [to come,] & the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. Neither can they die anymore. For they are equal to the Angels, & being the children of the resurrection, are the children of God.

[1 John 3:2 Beloved we are now the sons of God. It doesn't appear yet what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him: for we shall see Him as He is.]

Now, the dead that are raised, even Moses, [declared] at the [bruning] bush, when [Moses] called the Lord: The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, & the God of Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel.] For He isn't a God of the dead, but [a God] of the living: for all live [for] Him.

Then, [some] of the scribes, [answered] & said, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] You [have] said well. After that, they [dared] not ask [Jesus] any [questions] at all. And [Jesus] said to them, How [do] they say that Christ is David's son? *And David, himself [said,] in the book of Psalms, The Lord said to my Lord, You, sit [at] My right hand [side.] [Until] I make your enemies, your footstool. Therefore, David [called] Him, Lord. How then is He [Davids'] son?

Then, [Jesus] said to His disciples, in [front] of all the people, Beware of the scribes, [who] desire to walk in long robes, & love [to be] [greeted] in the markets, [& love] the highest seats in the synagogues, & the [best] rooms at feasts. [Who] devour widow's houses, & for a [display] make long prayers. The same shall receive greater [condemnation.]

[Matthew 6:5-6 And when you [pray,] you shall not be [like] the hypocrites are, [a.k.a. those who say 1 thing & do another.] For they love to pray standing in the synagogues & in the corners of the streets, [so] that they may be seen [by] men. [Truly,] I say to you, They have their reward. But you, when you [pray,] enter into your closet, & when you [have] shut your door, pray in [private] to your Father, [Who] sees in [private] & shall reward you openly.

Luke 19:1-48 Zacchaeus Meets Jesus Christ

Zacchaeus Meets Jesus Christ

Luke 19:1-48          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And Jesus entered, & passed through Jericho. And, [saw], a man there named Zacchaeus, [who] was [in charge] among the publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] & he was rich.

And [Zacchaeus] sought to see Jesus, & Who He was, & couldn't, [because] [of] the [crowd, since] he was [short.] And [Zacchaeus] ran [in front,] & climbed up into a [Sycamore] tree to see [Jesus.] For He was to pass that way.

And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up, & saw him. And said to him, Zacchaeus, [hurry,] & come down. For today, I must [stay] at your house. And [Zacchaeus hurried,] & came down, & received, [a.k.a. welcomed, Jesus] joyfully. And when they saw it, they all [grumbled,] saying, That [Jesus has] gone to be [a] guest with a man, [who] is a sinner.

And Zacchaeus stood, & said to the Lord: [See,] Lord, I [will] give: the half of my goods to the poor. And if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I [will] restore him fourfold, [a.k.a. 4 times as much.]

And Jesus said to [Zacchaeus,] This day, Salvation [comes] to this house, [since] he is also a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man [has] come to seek & to save that which was lost. [Romans 5:8-9 *But God [demonstrates] His love toward us, in that, while we were [still] sinners, Christ died for us. Now, being much more [than] justified by His blood, we shall be saved from [God's] wrath, through Him.]

*And as they heard these things, [Jesus] added & [spoke] a parable.

Because [Jesus] was [close] to Jerusalem, & they thought that the Kingdom of God should immediately appear, therefore [Jesus] said, A certain nobleman went into a [distant] country to receive a kingdom for himself, & to return.

And he called his 10 servants, & delivered 10 pounds [to each of] them, & said to them, Occupy, [a.k.a. Take up residence, until] I come. But his citizens hated him, & sent a message after him, saying, We won't have this man [rule] over us.

And it [happened,] that having received the kingdom, when he [had] returned, then he commanded these servants, whom he had given the money, to be called to him, [so] that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

Then, the 1st came, saying, Lord, your pound [has] gained 10 pounds. And he the [nobleman] said to him, Well [done,] you good servant. Because you have been faithful in very little, you [shall] have authority over 10 cities. And the 2nd came, saying, Lord, your pound [has] gained 5 pounds. And [similarly,] he said to him, You also be over 5 cities.

And another came, saying, Lord, [see,] here is your pound, which I have kept [safe] in a napkin. For I feared [for] you, because you [are] an austere, [a.k.a. harsh,] man; & you [take] up [what] you didn't [lay] down, & reap, [what] you didn't sow.

And [the nobleman said] to him, I will judge you [from] your own mouth, you wicked servant. You [knew] that I was [a harsh] man, taking up [what] I [didn't lay,] & reaping [what] I didn't sow. [Why] then, [didn't] you [give] my money to the bank, [so] that at my [arrival,] I might have [acquired my] own [money] with [interest?]

And [the nobleman] said to [those, who] stood [near] by, Take the pound from him, & give it to him, [who has] 10 pounds. (And they said to him, Lord, he [has] 10 pounds.) For I say to you, That to everyone, [who has,] shall be given. And from him, [who doesn't have,] even [what] he [has] shall be taken away from him. [1 Peter 4:[Like] every man [has] received the gift, even so, the same [shall] minister to one another, [like] good stewards, [about] the [plentiful] grace of God.]

But bring those, [my] enemies, [who didn't] [want] that I should [rule] over them, & slay them [in front of] me. [Revelation 22:12-15 *And, [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me, & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.

Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter into through the gates into the city. For [outside,] are: dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters, & [whoever] [loves] & makes [up lies.]

And when [Jesus] had spoken [this,] He went [in front, going] up to Jerusalem. And it [happened,] when [Jesus,] was at the mount, called the Mount of Olives, [close] to Bethphage, & Bethany, He sent 2 of His disciples.

*Saying, You, go into the village [across from] you, in which you shall find a colt tied, [as you enter, upon which no] man [has ever] sat. [Loosen] him, & bring him [here.] And if any man [asks] you, Why do you [loosen] him? You shall say  to him, Because the Lord has need of him. *And [those, who] were sent, went [on] their way, & found [it] even [like Jesus] had said to them.

*And as they were [loosening] the colt, [its] owners said to them, Why [do] you [loosen] the colt? And they said, The Lord [has] need of him. And they brought [the colt] to Jesus.

*And they [threw] their garments upon the colt, & they set Jesus [on it.] And as [Jesus] went, they spread their clothes [on] the [road.] [Zechariah 9:9 *Rejoice greatly, o daughter of Zion; & shout O daughter of Jerualem. [Look,] your King [comes] to you. He is just, & [has] Salvation; lowly, [a.k.a. humble,] & riding upon a [donkey] & upon a colt, the foal of a [donkey.]

And when [Jesus had] come [close,] even now [going down the slope] of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of disciples began to rejoice & praise God with a loud voice, for all the mighty works, [a.k.a. miracles,] that they had seen. *Saying, Blessed [is] the King, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord. Peace in heaven & glory in the highest. [Psalm 118:26 *Blessed [is] He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. We have blessed You out of the house of the Lord.]

And some of the Pharisees among the multitude said to [Jesus,] Master, [a.k.a. Teacher, scold] Your disciples. And [Jesus] answered, & said to them, I tell you that, if they should hold their peace, the very stones would immediately cry out.

And when [Jesus] had come near, He [saw] the city, & wept over it. Saying, Even if you [had] at least known, [on] this day, the things that belong to your peace! But now, they are [hidden] from your eyes. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who kill] the prophets, & [stone those, who] are sent to [warn] you.

How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen [gathers] her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] You shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord.]

*For the days shall come upon you, that your enemies shall [surround] you, & [throw] up [embankment around] you, & keep you in, [a.k.a. cut off,] on every side. And they shall lay you even with the ground, & your children within you.

And they shall not leave in you one stone upon another; because you [didn't know] the time of your visitation. [1 Kings 9:6-9 *But if you, or your children shall turn [away] from following Me, at all, & won't keep My commandments, & My [mandates, that] I have [put] before you, but go & serve other gods, & worship them: Then, I will cut off Israel out of the land, [that] I have given them.

And I will cast this house, out of My sight, [that] I have hallowed for My Name. And Israel shall be a [platitude] & [notorious] among all people. And everyone who passes by this [lofty] house, shall be astonished, & shall hiss.

*And they shall say, Why [has] the Lord done [this] to this land, & to this house? And they shall answer, Because they [abandoned] the Lord their God, Who brought [out] their [forefathers from] the land of Egypt, & have [clung] to other gods, & have worshiped & served them. Therefore, the Lord [has] brought all this evil upon them.]

And [Jesus] went into the temple, & began to [throw] out [those, who] sold & bought [in it.] Saying to them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer. But you have made it a den of thieves.

[Isaiah 56:7 I will bring to My Holy mountain, even those, & will make them joyful in My house of prayer, & their burnt offerings, & their sacrifices shall be accepted upon [My] altar. For [My] house shall be called [a] house of prayer for all people.]

And [Jesus] taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests, scribes, & [leaders] of the people, sought to destroy [Jesus,] & couldn't find what they might do. For all the people were very [interested in hearing Jesus.]

Luke 18:1-43 Parable Examples of Who is Righteous & Who Isn't

Parable Examples of Who is Righteous & Who Isn't

Luke 18:1-43          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

*And [Jesus spoke] a parable to them, to this [purpose,] that men ought to always pray, & to not faint, [a.k.a. give up.]  [Psalm 78:1-4 [Listen,] O My people, to My Law.

Saying, there was a judge in a city, [who didn't fear, [a.k.a. respect,] God, & neither [did he] [regard] man [a.k.a. take men into consideration.] And there was a widow in that city. And she came to him, saying, [Take revenge on my enemy.] And he wouldn't for a while.

But afterward, he said within himself, [Although] I [don't] fear [respect] God, nor regard [men; still,] because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest she [tires] me by her [continually] coming.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge [said.] And [shouldn't] God avenge His own elect, [a.k.a. chosen, who] cry [out] day & night to Him, [although] He [puts up] with them [a] long [time?] I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.

[However,] when the Son of Man [comes,] shall He find [such] faith on the earth? [Revelation 6:9-11 And when He had opened the 5th seal, I saw [before] the altar, the souls of [those, who] were slain for the Word of God, & for the testimony [that] they held.

And they cried [out] with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, Holy & True, [untl] You judge & avenge our [bloodshed] on [those, who] dwell on the earth? And white robes were given to everyone of them. And it was said to them, that they should [still] rest for a little [time,] until [it] should be fulfilled, [that] their fellow servants, & their brethren should also be killed, [like] they were.]

And [Jesus spoke] this parable to [some, who] trusted in themselves, that they were righteous, & despised others, [a.k.a. self-righteous.] Two men went up into the temple to pray. The one a Pharisee, & the other a publican, [a.k.a. tax collector.] The Pharisee stood & prayed [like this] with himself, God, I thank You, that I am not [like] other men are: extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even [like] this publican. I fast twice [a] week, & I give [10%] tithes of all that I [own.]

And the publican, standing [far away,] wouldn't [even] so much as lift up his eyes to heaven, but [struck] his [chest,] saying, God be merciful to me, a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone, [who exalts] himself, shall be [humbled.] And he, [who humbles] himself, shall be exalted.

And they also brought infants to [Jesus, so] that He would touch them. But when His disciples saw it, they [scolded] them. But Jesus called them to Him, & said, [Allow] little children to come to me, & [don't] forbid them; for of such is the Kingdom of God. [Truly,] I say to you, [Whoever] shall not receive the Kingdom of God, [like] a little child, shall in now wise, enter [in there.]

And a certain ruler asked [Jesus,] saying, Good Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said to him, Why [do] you [call] Me good? None is good, [except] One, that is, God. You [know] the commandments: Don't commit adultery, Don't kill, Don't steal, Don't bear false witness, [a.k.a. giving false testimony,] Honor your father & your mother.

And he said, I have kept all these from my youth up. Now, when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, You [still lack] 1 thing. Sell all that you [have] & distribute [the proceeds] to the poor, & you [shall] have treasure in heaven; & come, follow Me.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, He said, How [rarely] shall [those, who] have riches enter into the Kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.

And [those, who] heard it said, Then, who can be saved? And [Jesus] said, The things [that] are impossible [for] men, are possible [for] God.

Then, Peter said, [Look,] we have left all, & followed You. and [Jesus] said to them, [Truly,] I say to you, There [isn't any] man, [who has] left [his] house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake, who shall not receive [much] more in this present time, & everlasting life, in the world to come.

Then [Jesus] took the 12 to Him, & said to them, [Look,] we go up to Jerusalem. *And all things that are written by the prophets [about] the Son of Man shall be accomplished. [Isaiah 53:12 *Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, & He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he [has] poured out His soul to death. And He was numbered with the transgressors, & made intercession for the transgressors. And He [bore] the sin [for] many.]

For he shall be delivered to the Gentiles. [Mark 15:11-15 *But the chief priests moved the people, [so] that [Pilate] should [instead] release Barabbas to them. And Pilate answered & said again to them, What [do] you [want] that I shall do to Him, Whom you call the King of the Jews? And they cried out again, Crucify Him. Then, Pilate said to them, Why, what evil has He done? And they cried out [exceedingly] more, Crucify Him. And so Pilate, willing to [satisfy] the people, released Barabbas to them, and when [Pilate] had Him scourged, [a.k.a. whipped,] delivered Jesus to be crucified.]

*And [He] shall be mocked, [treaded] spitefully, & [spit upon.] [Matthew 27:29-31 *And when they had [woven] a crown of thorns, they put it upon [Jesus'] head, & a reed in His right hand. And they bowed [their] knee [in front of Jesus,] & mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! *And they spit upon [Jesus,] & took the read, & [struck] Him on the head. *And after they mocked [Jesus,] they took the robe off from Him, & put His Own [clothes] on Him, & led [Jesus] away to crucify Him.]

*And they shall scourge Him. [John 19:1 * Therefore, Pilate then took Jesus & scourged, [a.k.a whipped,] Him.]

*And put Him to death. [Luke 23:44-47 *And it was about the 6th hour, & there was darkness over all the earth until the 9th hour. And the sun was darkened, & the [temple's] veil was [torn] in the [middle.] And when Jesus had cried [out] with a loud voice, He said, Father, I commend My Spirit, into Your hands. And having said [this, Jesus] gave up the ghost. Now, when the Centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a Righteous man.]

And the third day, He shall rise again. [Luke 24:4-8 *And it [happened,] as they were [very] perplexed [about] [it,] [& saw] two men stood by them in shining garments. And [since] they were afraid, bowed down their faces to the [ground, & the two] said to them, Why [do] you seek the Living among the dead? He isn't here, but is risen. Remember how He [spoke] to you when He was [still] in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, & be crucified, & rise again the third day. And they remembered [Jesus'] Words.]

And they understood none of these things. And this saying was [hidden] from them. Neither, [did] they know, [a.k.a. understand,] the things [that] were spoken. [John 12:16 [Jesus'] disciples [didn't understand] these things, at first. But when Jesus was glorified, then, they remembered these things were written [about] Him, & that they had done these things to Him.]

And as [Jesus] was [coming near] to Jericho, it [happened,] that a certain blind man sat begging by the [road] side. And hearing the multitude pass by, [the blind man] asked what it meant.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth [passes] by. And he cried [out,] saying, Jesus, You Son of David, have mercy on me. And [those, who] went [in front scolded] him, [so] he should hold his peace.

But he cried [out] much more, You Son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood, & commanded [that] [he] be brought to Him. And when he [had] come near, [Jesus] asked him, saying, What [do] you [want] that I shall do to you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

*And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight. Your faith [has] saved you. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a deer,] & the tongue of the [mute] shall sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And immediately, he received his sight, & followed [Jesus,] glorifying God. And when they saw it, all the people gave praise to God.
