About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Mark 7:1-37 The Pharisees & Scribes Are Upset the Disciples Eat with Unwashed Hands

The Pharisees & Scribes Are Upset the Disciples Eat with Unwashed Hands

Mark 7:1-37          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, the Pharisees, & [some] of the scribes, [who] came from Jerusalem, came to [Jesus,] together. And they found fault, when they saw some of [Jesus'] disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, [unwashed] hands.

For the Pharisees. & all the Jews [don't] eat [unless] they wash their hands [often,] holding [to] the tradition of the elders. And when they come from the market, they [don't] eat, [unless] they wash. And there [are] many other things, which they have [agreed] to hold, [like:] the washing of cups, pots, [a.k.a. pitchers,] [brass] vessels, & tables.

Then, the Pharisees & scribes asked [Jesus,] Why [don'] Your disciples [follow] according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with [unwashed] hands? *[Jesus] answered & said to them, [Isaiah,] prophesied well [about] you hypocrites, [a.k.a. someone who says one thing, & does another.]

[Like] it is written, This people [honor] Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. [However,] in vain, they do worship Me, teaching [like] doctrines, the commandments [from] men.

[Isaiah 29:13 *[For this reason,] the Lord said, [Since] these people draw near Me with their mouth, & do honor Me with their lips, but [they] have removed their heart far from Me. And their fear [respect] toward Me is taught by the precept, [a.k.a. commandment, from] men.]

For [setting] aside the [commandments from] God, you hold the [traditions from] men, [like] the washing of: pots, cups, & you do many other [similar] things.

*And [Jesus] said to them, [You know] full well, you reject the commandment [from] God, [so] that you may keep your own tradition. [Isaiah 24:5 *The earth is also defiled under [the control of] [its] inhabitants; because they have transgressed, [a.k.a. defied,] the Laws, & changed the [ordinances, a.k.a. rules,] & [have] broken the everlasting covenant.]

For Moses said, Honor your father & mother; and, [Whoever curses] [their] father or mother, let him die the death. But you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by [whatever] you might be [benefitted] by me, he shall be free.

And you [allow] him to no [longer] do [anything,] for his father or his mother; making the Word of God [ineffective] through your tradition, [that] you have [conveyed,] & you do many [similar] things.

And when [Jesus] had called all the people to Him, He said to them, Everyone of you, [pay attention] to Me, & understand. There is nothing from [the] [outside] [of] a man, that [something] entering into him can defile him: but the things [that] come out [from] him, are those that defile the man.

If any man [has] ears to hear, let him hear. And when [Jesus had] entered into the house, [away] from the people, His disciples asked him [about] the parable. And [Jesus] said to them, Are you also without understanding?

Don't you perceive, [a.k.a. recognize,] that [whatever] thing enters into the man from the outside, can't defile him, because it [doesn't enter] into his heart, but into the [stomach,] & goes out into the [waste, clearing out] all meats, [a.k.a. foods?]

And [Jesus] said, [What] defiles a man, [is] that which comes out of the man. [James 3:6 And the tongue [leads to] a fire, & a world of [sinfulness.] The tongue [does the same] among our [body's] members, [so] that it [defiles] the whole body, & [sets] on fire, [our sinful human] nature; & it is [focused] on [the] fires of hell.]

For from [inside] & out of the heart of men, [proceeds:] evil thoughts, [adultery, fornication, murder, theft, envy,] wickedness, deceit, [lust,] an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, & foolishness. All these evil things come from [inside,] & defile a man.

And [Jesus] arose & [left] from [there,] & went into the borders of Tyre, [a.k.a. Tyrus,] & Sidon, & entered into [a] house, & [didn't want any] man [to] know it. But [Jesus] couldn't be [hidden.]

For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, [a.k.a. a demon,] heard of [Jesus,] & came & fell at His feet. The woman was a Greek, [a.k.a. Gentile,] a Syrophenician by [birth.] And she [begged Jesus] that He would cast [out] the [demon] out of her daughter.

But Jesus said to her, Let the children first be filled. For it isn't [good] to take the children's bread, & cast it to the dogs. And she answered & said to Him, Yes, Lord: [still] the dogs under the table, eat [from] the children's crumbs.

*And [Jesus] said to her, For this saying, go [on] your way, [because] the [demon has] gone out of your daughter. And when she [came] to her house, she found the [demon had] gone out, & her daughter laid upon the bed.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

And again, [leaving] from the coasts of Tyre & Sidon, [Jesus] came through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis, to the Sea of Galilee. And they [brought] to [Jesus, someone who] was deaf, & had an impediment in his speech. And they [begged] Him to put His hand upon him.

And [Jesus] took him aside, from the multitude, & put His fingers into his ears, & spit, & touched his tongue. *And looking up to heaven, [Jesus] sighed, & said to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And [immediately] his ears were opened, & the string of his tongue was [loosened,] & he [spoke clearly.]

[Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unclogged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a rabbit,] & the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And [Jesus commanded] them, that they should tell no man. But the more He [commanded] them, much more they [greatly proclaimed] it [widely.] And [they] were astonished beyond measure, saying, *[Jesus] has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear, & the [mute] to speak.

[Isaiah 29:18-19 *And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the Words of the Book, & the eyes of the blind shall see out of [cloudiness,] & out of darkness. The meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall also increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.]

Mark 6:1-56 Sadly, Jesus' Own Community & Family were Offended by Him & Didn't Believe

Sadly, Jesus' Own Community & Family were Offended by Him & Didn't Believe

Mark 6:1-56          The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

And [Jesus] went out from [there,] & came into His own country; & His disciples [followed] Him. And when the Sabbath Day [had] come, [Jesus] began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, From [where has] this Man these things?

And what wisdom is this, [that] is given to Him, that even such mighty works, [a.k.a. miracles,] are [brought about] by His hands. Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, & Joses, [a.k.a. Joseph,] & of [Judah,] & Simon? And aren't His sisters here with us?

And they were offended [by] Him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet isn't without honor, [except] in His Own country, & among His Own [relatives,] & in His Own house. And [Jesus] could do no mighty work there, *[except] that He laid His hands upon a few sick folk, & healed them.

[Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who forgives all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction, Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

And [Jesus marveled,] because of their unbelief. And He went [all around] the villages, teaching. And He called the 12 to Him, & began to send them [out] 2 by 2; & gave them power over unclean spirits, [a.k.a. demons.]

And commanded them, that they should take nothing for their journey, [except] only a staff, [a.k.a. walking stick;] no [bag;] no bread; & no money in their purse. But [wear] sandals, & not put 2 coats on. And [Jesus] said to them, In [whatever] place you enter into [a] house, [stay] there [until] you depart from that place.

And [whoever doesn't] receive, [a.k.a. welcomes] you, nor [hears] you, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them, when you depart [from] there. [Truly,] I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom & [Gomorrah on] the day of judgment, than for that city.

And they went out, & preached that men should repent. And they cast out many [demons,] & anointed many [who] were sick with oil, & healed them. And king Herod heard of [Jesus;] (for His Name was spread abroad.)

And [Herod] said, that, John the Baptist [has] risen from the dead, & [that's why] mighty works do [show] forth themselves in Him. Others said, That is [Elijah.] And others said, That it is a prophet, or [like] one of the prophets.

But when Herod heard [of it,] he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: & he is risen from the dead. For Herod, himself, had sent [out] & [had] John [seized.] And bound [John] in prison for Herodias' sake, [Herod's] brother Philip's wife: for [Herod] had married her.

For John had said to Herod, It isn't lawful for you to have your brother's wife. Therefore, Herodias had a quarrel against [John,] & [wanted] him killed; but she couldn't. For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just, [a.k.a. honest,] man & holy, & [protected] him.

And [John] did many things, when [Herod] heard him, & gladly heard [John.] And when a convenient day [had] come, on [Herod's] birthday, a supper [was] made [for] [Herod's] lords, [a.k.a. nobles,] high captains, & [those in] [important positions] of Galilee.

And when the daughter of Herodias came in, & danced, Herod & [those, who] sat with him, [were] pleased. The king said to the [young girl,] Ask [from] me [whatever] you [want,] & I will give it [to] you. And [Herod swore] to her, [Whatever] you shall ask [from] me, I will give it [to] you, [up to] half of my kingdom.

And she went [out] & said to her mother, What shall I ask? And [Herodias] said, The head of John the Baptist. And she came in [right away] with [speed] to king [Herod,] & asked, saying, [Sooner or later,] I [want] that you give me the head of John the Baptist [on] a charger, [a.k.a. platter.]

And the king was [exceedingly] sorry, [but] for his oath's sake, & for [the] sakes [of] [those, who] sat with him, [Herod] wouldn't [refuse] her. And the king immediately sent an executioner, & commanded [John's] head to be brought. And he went & beheaded [John] in the prison, & brought his head [on] a charger, & gave it to the [young girl.]

And the [young girl] gave it to her mother. And when [John the Baptist's] disciples heard of it, they came & took up his corpse, & laid it in a tomb. And the apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus, & told Him all [these] things, both what they had done, & what they had taught.

[Luke 9:10 And when the apostles [had] returned, they told [Jesus] all that they had done. And [Jesus] took them, & went aside privately into a [deserted] place, belonging to the city called Bethsaida.]

And [Jesus] said to [the apostles,] You, come & [separate] yourselves into a [deserted] place, & rest a while. [Because] there were many coming & going, & they had no [time off,] [even] to eat.

And they [secretly] departed to a [deserted] place by ship. And the people saw them [leaving,] & many knew [Jesus,] & [by foot,] ran there [from] all the cities, & [outran] them, & came together to [Jesus.]

And when Jesus came out, & saw [many] people, He was moved with compassion toward them, because they were [like] sheep [without] a Shepherd. [John 10:9-11 I Am the door & if any man [enters] in, he shall be saved by Me, & shall go in & out & find pasture.

The thief [only] [comes] to steal, kill, & to destroy. I [have] come, [so] that they might have life. And that they might have it more abundantly. I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His Life for the sheep.]

And [Jesus] began to teach them many things. And when the day was [almost over,] His disciples came to Him, & said, This is a [deserted] place, & now, the time [has long gone.] Send them away, [so] that they may go [all around] into the country & villages, & buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

[Jesus] answered & said to them, You, give them [something] to eat. And they [said] to [Jesus,] Shall we go & buy 200 [pennies worth] of bread, & give [it to] them to eat? [Jesus] said to them, How many loaves [do] you have? Go & see. And when they knew, they [said,] 5, & 2 [fish.]

And [Jesus] commanded them to make [everyone] sit down [in groups] upon the green grass. And they sat down in [groups] by 100s & by 50s. And when [Jesus] had taken the 5 loaves & the 2 [fish,] He looked up to heaven, & blessed & [broke] the loaves, & gave them to His disciples to [put in front of] them.

And He divided the 2 [fish] among them all. And they all [ate,] & were filled. And they took up 12 baskets full of the fragments, & of the [fish.] And [those, who ate from] the loaves, were about 5,000 men.

And [Jesus compelled] His disciples to get into the ship [immediately,] & to go to the other side to Bethsaida, [first,] while He sent away the people. And when [Jesus] had sent them away, He [went] into a mountain to pray.

And when [evening had] come, the ship was in the [middle] of the sea, & He was alone on the land. And [Jesus] saw them rowing & [struggling;] for the wind was [uncooperative with] them. And about the 4th watch [at] night, [Jesus came] to them, walking upon the sea, & would have passed by them.

But when they saw [Jesus] walking upon the sea, they supposed it [was] a spirit, [a.k.a. a ghost,] & cried out. For they all saw [Jesus,] & were troubled. And immediately [Jesus] talked with them, & [said] to them, Be of good cheer. It is I; [don't] be afraid.

And [Jesus] went to them, & up into the ship, & the wind [stopped.] And they were [very] amazed [within] themselves, beyond measure, & wondered. For they [hadn't] considered the miracle of the loaves, for their [hearts were] hardened.

And when they had [crossed] over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, & [pulled] [it] to the shore. And when they [had] come out of the ship, they knew [Jesus immediately,] & ran [all around] through that whole region, & began to carry [around those, who] were sick in beds, [to] where they heard [Jesus] was.

*And [wherever Jesus] entered into: villages, cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, & [begged Jesus, so] that they might [only] touch the border of His garment. And as many as touched Him, were made whole.

[Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a rabbit,] & the tongue of the mute [shall] sing. For waters break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

Mark 5:1-43 Jesus Has the Legion of Evil Spirits Enter a Herd of Pigs

Jesus Has the Legion of Evil Spirits Enter a Herd of Pigs

Mark 5:1-43         The Gospel According to Mark [in Smaller Chunks]

And they came over to the other side of the sea, into the country of Gadarenes. And when [Jesus had] come out of the ship, immediately a man with an unclean spirit, [a.k.a. demon,] [coming] out of the tombs; & met [Jesus] there.

No man could bind him, who had his dwelling among the tombs. No, not [even] with chains, [since,] he had often been bound with [shackles] & chains. And the chains had been [pulled apart] by him, & the [shackles] [had been] broken [to] pieces; & neither could any man tame, [a.k.a. subdue] him.

And he was always in the mountains, night & day, & in the tombs, cutting himself with stones, & crying [out.] But when he saw Jesus [far away,] he ran & worshiped Him, & cried [out] with a loud voice, & said, What [do] I have to do with You, Jesus, You Son of the Most High God?

I [beg] You by God, that You [don't] torment me. For [Jesus] said to him, You, unclean spirit, come out of the man. And [Jesus] asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion, for we are many.

And he [begged Jesus] [very] much, that He wouldn't send them away out of the country. Now, [close] to the mountains, was a [large] herd of swine, [a.k.a. pigs,] feeding there. And all the [demons begged Jesus,] saying, Send us into the swine, [so] that we may enter into them.

*And [right away,] Jesus gave them [permission to] leave. And the unclean spirits went out, & entered into the swine. And the herd ran violently down a steep place, & into the sea. ([There] were about 2,000;) & were choked in the sea.

[Isaiah 29:19-20 *The meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall also increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to [nothing,] & the scorner, [a.k.a. tormentor,] is consumed. And all [who] watch for [opportunities for] [sinfulness] are cut off.]

And [those, who] fed the swine fled, & told [about] it in the city & in the country. And they went out to see what [had happened.] And they [came] to Jesus, & [saw] him, [who] was possessed with the [demon,] & had the legion, sitting, & clothed, in his right mind, & they were afraid.

And [those, who] saw it, told them how it [happened] to him, [who] was possessed with the [demon,] & also [about] the swine. And they began to pray [that] [Jesus] [would] depart [from] their coasts.

And when [Jesus had] come into the ship, he, [who] had been possessed with the [demon,] prayed [that] [Jesus] [would allow] him to be with Him. [However,] Jesus [didn't allow] him, but [said] to him, Go home to your friends, & tell them how the Lord has done great things for you, & [has] had compassion on you.

And he [left,] & began to [proclaim] in Decapolis, how Jesus had done great things for him: & all men [marveled.] And when Jesus [had crossed] over again to the other side by ship, [many] people gathered to Him.

And [Jesus] was [close] to the sea, & [saw,] one of the synagogue rulers [named] Jarius, [had] [come] there. And when he saw [Jesus,] he fell at His feet, & greatly [begged] Him, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death. I pray [that] You, come & lay Your hands on her, [so] that she may be healed, & she shall live.

And Jesus went with [Jairus,] & [many] people followed [Jesus] & [crowded] Him. And a certain woman, [who] had [a] blood [discharge,] 12 years, came in the [crowd] behind, & when she had heard [about] Jesus, touched His garment, [because she] had suffered many things [by] many physicians, & had spent all that she had, & was [not benefited,] but [instead,] grew worse.

For she said, [Perhaps,] if I may touch [only] His clothes, I shall be whole. And [immediately,] the [flow] of her blood was dried up. And she felt that she was healed of that plague, in her body.

And Jesus knowing [within] Himself, immediately that virtue had gone out of Him, turned [Himself around] in the [crowd,] & said, Who touched My clothes? And His disciples said to [Jesus,] You [see] the multitude [crowding] You, I You [say,] Who touched Me?

And [Jesus] looked [all around] to see her, [who] had done this thing. But the woman, knowing what was done [within] her, came & fell down [in front of] Him, fearing & trembling, & told [Jesus] all the truth. And He said to her, Daughter, your faith [has] made you whole. Go in peace, be whole [from] your plague.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who [heals] all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who crowns you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

While, [Jesus still spoke, someone] came there from the house of the synagogue's ruler, [who] said, Your daughter is dead. Why [do] you trouble the Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] any further?

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He [said] to [Jairus,] the ruler of the synagogue, [Don't] be afraid, only believe. And [Jesus allowed] no man to follow Him, [except] Peter, James, & John, the brother of James.

And [Jesus came] to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, & [saw] the [chaos,] & [those, who] wept & greatly wailed. And when [Jesus had] come in, He said to them, Why do you make this [fuss] & weep? The [girl] isn't dead, but sleeps. And they [ridiculed Jesus.]

But when [Jesus] had them all put out, He [took] the father & mother of the [girl, & those, who] were with Him, & entered where the [girl] was lying. *And [Jesus] took the [girl] by the hand, & said to her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, I say to you, [young girl,] arise.

And the [girl] arose [right away,] & walked. For she was 12 years [old.] And they were astonished with great [amazement.]

[Psalm 33:8-9 *Let all the earth fear [respect] the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He [spoke] & it was done. He commanded, & it stood [firm.]

And [Jesus strictly warned] them, that no man should know [about] it. And commanded that something should be given [to] her to eat.
