About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Psalm 131:1-3 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps, by] David.

Psalm 131:1-3            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

Lord, my heart isn't [arrogant,] nor [my] eyes [exalted.] Neither do I [make] myself [available] in great matters, or in things too [important] for me. [Romans 12:16-18 Be [in agreement] one toward another. [Don't get caught up in] things of high [status,] but [associate with] men of low [status.]

[Don't] be wise in your own [conceit.] [Don't repay any] man evil for evil. Provide honest things in the sight of all men. If [it's] possible, as much as you [are able,] live [peacefully] with all men.]

Surely, I have [calmed] myself & behaved [like] a child that is weaned [from] his mother. My soul is even [like] a weaned child. [Matthew 18:2-3 And Jesus called a little child to Him & [put] him in the [middle] of them. And said, [Truly,] I say to you, [Unless] you [are] converted & become [like] little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.]

Let Israel hope in the Lord from [now on] & forever.

Psalm 130:1-8 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps.]

Psalm 130:1-8            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

I have cried [out] to You, O Lord, out of the depths. Lord, hear my voice & let Your ears be attentive to the [sound] of my [prayers.] Lord, if You should [keep track of sins,] O Lord, who shall stand.

[Revelation 6:16-17 And said to the mountains & rocks, Fall on us & hide us from the face of Him, [Who sits] on the throne & from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath [has] come & who shall be able to stand?]

But there is forgiveness with You, [so] that You may be feared [respected.] I wait for the Lord. My soul [waits] & I do hope [on] His Word. [Titus 3:4-7 But after that, the kindness & love of God our Savior toward man appeared. Not by [righteous deeds] we have done, but according to His mercy.

He saves us, by the [cleansing, spiritual restoration] & renewing [by] the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.] Which He abundantly shed on us, through Jesus Christ our Savior. [So,] that, [by] being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs, according to the hope of eternal life.]

My soul waits for the Lord, more than [those who] watch for the morning. I say, more than [those who] watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy & with Him redemption is [plentiful.]

[Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek you the Lord, while He may be found & you call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked [abandon] His way & the unrighteous man his thoughts & let him return to our God & the Lord & He will have mercy upon him, for He will pardon abundantly.]

And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. [Titus 2:13-14 [While] looking for that blessed hope & the glorious [appearance] of the great God & our Savior, Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, [so] that He might redeem us from all [sin] & purify to Himself a [special] people, zealous of good [deeds.]

Psalm 129:1-8 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps.]

Psalm 129:1-8            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

They have afflicted me from my youth, many [times.] May Israel now say: Many a time, they have afflicted me from my youth: yet they haven't prevailed against me. [2 Corinthians 7:4-5 Great is my boldness [I speak] toward You.

I am filled with comfort & I'm exceedingly joyful, [despite] all our tribulation. For when we [came] into Macedonia, our [bodies] had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. [Outside was fighting & inside] were fears.]

[Those who plow] plowed upon my back. They made their furrows long. The Lord is righteous & can cut [to pieces] the [whip] cords of the wicked. [Isaiah 51:22-23 The Lord says [this,] The Lord your God, [Who] pleads the [case] of His people, [Look,] I have taken your hand out of the cup of trembling, even the [scum] of the cup of My fury & you shall no [longer] drink it again.

But I will put [the cup of My fury] into the hand of [those who] afflict you, [who] have said to your soul, Bow down, [so] that we may go over [you.] And you have laid your body [like it's] the ground & [like] the street, to [those who] went over.]

Let all [those who] hate Zion be [confused] & turned back. Let them be [like] the grass upon the housetops, [that] withers [before] it grows up: [by which] the mower [doesn't] fill [up] his hand; nor [does] he [who] binds [fill up his arms with harvested] sheaves.

Neither do [those who] go by say, [May] the [blessings] of the Lord be upon you. We bless you in the Name of the Lord.

Psalm 128:1-6 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps.]

Psalm 128:1-6            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

Blessed is everyone [who] fears [respects] the Lord & walks in His ways.

[2 Peter 3:9-10 The Lord is not slack [about] His promise, [like] some men [consider] slackness; but is [patient toward] us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come [like] a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with great noise & the elements shall melt with fervent heat & the earth also & [the things made in there,] shall be burned up.]

For you shall eat the labor of your hands. You shall be happy & it shall be well with you. [Revelation 22:12-15 And, [watch,] I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give to every man, according to his [deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last.

Blessed are [those who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are dogs, sorcerers & [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters & [whoever] loves [to make & tell lies.]

Your wife shall be [like] a fruitful vine by the sides of your house. Your children [shall be] like olive plants, [around] your table. [Look,] the man [who] fears [respects] the Lord shall be blessed [like this.]

The Lord shall bless you out of Zion & you shall see the good of Jerusalem, all the days of your life. [Yes,] you shall see your children's children & peace upon Israel.

Psalm 127:1-5 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps] for Solomon

Psalm 127:1-5            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

They labor in vain [who] build, [unless] the Lord [builds] the house. The watchman wakes [up] in vain, [unless,] the Lord [guards] the city.

It is vain for you to rise up early & to [stay] up late, to eat the bread [in] sorrows: for He gives His beloved sleep. [Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, till you return [into] the ground. For out of it, you [were] taken & [into the dirt] you shall return.]

[Look,] children are an heritage of the Lord & the fruit of the womb is His reward. [Romans 8:15-16 For you haven't received the spirit of bondage again, to fear [respect;] but you have received the Spirit of adoption, [in which] we cry [out,] Abba, Father. The Spirit, Itself bears] witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.]

[Like] arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of [your] youth. Happy is the man [who] has his [archer's] quiver full of them. [Psalm 128:6 [Yes,] you shall see your children's children & peace upon Israel.]

They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. [Proverbs 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.]

Psalm 126:1-6 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps.]

Psalm 126:1-6            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

When the Lord [returned those] again of Zion [who were captive,] we were like [those who] dream. Then our mouth [was] filled with laughter & our tongues with singing. Then [those] said among the heathen, The Lord has done great things for them.

[Isaiah 51:11 Therefore, the redeemed of the Lord shall return & come with singing to Zion & everlasting joy shall be upon their head. They shall obtain gladness & joy & sorrow & mourning shall flee away.]

The Lord has done great things for us; [of which] we are glad. [Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the Word of the Lord, O you nations & declare it in the [coastal islands far away] & say, He, [Who] scattered Israel, will gather [them] & keep [them, like] a Shepherd [keeps] His flock.]

O Lord, [return] us again [from] our captivity, [like] the streams in the south. [Those who plant] in tears, shall reap in joy. [Galatians 6:9 And [don't] let us [grow tired] in doing well: for in due [time] we shall reap, if we [don't give up.]

He [who goes out] & [cries, carrying] precious seed, shall [without a doubt] come again with rejoicing & bring his [harvested] sheaves with him.

[Isaiah 61:3 *To appoint to [those who] mourn in Zion & to give to them beauty [instead,] for ashes, the oil of joy, [instead,] for mourning, the garment of praise, [instead,] for the spirit of heaviness; [so] that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.]

Psalm 125:1-5 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps.]

Psalm 125:1-5            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

[Those who] trust in the Lord, shall be [like] Mount Zion, which can't be removed, but [stays] forever. [Like] the mountains [surround] Jerusalem, so the Lord [surrounds] His people, from [now on &] even forever.

For the [oppressive] rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put [out] their hands [into what is sinful.] [Psalm 37:8-9 Cease from anger & [abandon anger. Don't worry] yourself in any [way] to do evil. For [those who do evil] shall be cut off: but those [who] wait upon the Lord, shall inherit the earth.]

O Lord, do good to those [who are] good & to [those who have] upright hearts. As for [those who go astray] to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them [out] with [those who work wickedly:] but peace shall be upon Israel.

[Isaiah 59:7-8 Their feet run to evil & they [hurry] to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are [sinful] thoughts. In their paths are: wasting & destruction. They [don't] know the [path] of peace & there's no [justice] in their [ways.] They have made crooked paths [for themselves.] Whoever goes [in them] shall not know peace.]

Psalm 124:1-8 Book# 5 of Psalms

A Song of Degrees, [a.k.a. Steps, by] David.

Psalm 124:1-8            Book# 5 of Psalms [in Smaller Chunks]

If [it weren't for] the Lord [being] on our side, Israel [is] now [able to] say, If the Lord hadn't been on our side, when men rose up against us: then they [would have quickly] swallowed us up, when their [anger grew] against us. [Romans 8:31 What shall we say then, [about] these things? If God [is] for us, who can be against us?]

Then, the waters [would have] overwhelmed us & the stream [flooded] over our soul. Then, the waters [of the] proud [would have] gone over our soul. [Psalm 65:5-7 O God of our Salvation; Who [is] the confidence of all the ends of the earth & of [those who] are afar off upon the sea,

You will answer us by terrible things, in righteousness. Which by His strength, being [clothed] with power, [firmly puts] the mountains & [Who calms] the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves & the tumult of the people.]

Blessed [is] the Lord, Who hasn't given us [like] prey to their teeth. Our soul [has] escaped [like] a bird out of the [fowler's trap.] The [trap] is broken & we [have] escaped. Our help is in the Name of the Lord, Who made heaven & earth.

[Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together to one place & let the dry land appear & it was so. And God called the dry land: Earth & the gathering together of the waters He called: Seas. And God saw that it was good.]
