About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Job 6:1-30 Job Answers Eliphaz

Job Answers Eliphaz

Job 6:1-30                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

But Job answered [Eliphaz] & said, O that my grief & my calamity were thoroughly weighed & [put] in the balances together! For now, it would be heavier than the sand of the sea. Therefore my words are swallowed up.

For the arrows of the Almighty are within me. The poison [of them] drinks up my spirit. The terrors of God, do [put] themselves [in order] against me. [Does] the wild [donkey] bray when he has grass? Of [does] the ox [bellow] over his [feed?]

Can [what is not flavorful] be eaten without salt? Or is there any [flavor] in the white of an egg? The things that my soul refused to touch, [are] my [disgusting foods.]

Oh, that I might have my request & God would grant me the thing that I long for! Even [if] it would please God to [loosen] His hand & cut me off & destroy me! Let [God] not spare [me.] Then, I [wouldn't] harden myself in sorrow & I [still would] take comfort, for I haven't [kept secret] the Words of the Holy One.

What is my strength, that I should [have] hope? And what is [my] end, that I should prolong my life? Is my strength [like] the strength of [rocks?] Or is my flesh [made] of brass?

Isn’t my help in me? And [has] wisdom [totally been] driven from me?

Pity should be [shown] to him, [who] is afflicted, from his friend, [lest] he [abandons fearing] [respecting] the Almighty.

My [friends] have [behaved] deceitfully [like] a [frozen] brook & [like] the [streams of water off] the brooks [that are no longer visible & appears to be] blackish, [because] of the ice & is [hidden] by the snow & [vanishes] when [the season grows] warm. When it's hot, they [disappear from] their place.

The paths [of the brooks meandered] & turned aside. They [evaporated into] nothing & perish. The troops of Tema looked & the companies of Sheba waited for them. They were [confused] because they had hoped. They came [there] & were ashamed.

[Jeremiah 14:3 And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters. They came to the [wells] & found no water. They returned with their [jugs] empty. They were ashamed, [confused] & covered their heads.]

You see [that I'm downcast.] For you are [nothing] now & are afraid. [Psalm 31:11 I was a [disgrace] among all [my] enemies, but especially among my neighbors & [cause] fear to [my friends.] [Those who saw] me [outside] fled from me.]

Did I [ever] say, Bring me [something?] Or, Give a [bribe]for me [from] your [possessions?] Or, Deliver me from the enemy's hand? Or, Redeem me from the hand of the mighty? Teach me & I will hold my [peace.] [Make] me to understand [how] I've erred.

How [forceful correct] words are! But what does your arguing [prove?] Do you [intend] to [disapprove of the] words & speeches, [like they] are wind, [from someone who] is desperate?

[Yet,] you [who] overwhelm the fatherless & dig a pit for your friend. [Psalm 57:6 They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down & they have [dug] a pit before me, into the midst, [into which] they have fallen.]

Therefore, now be content [to] look upon me; for it [is apparent] to you if I lie. I pray [that] you return, [but] let [it] not be [done of sin.] [Yet,] return again, my righteousness is [at stake.]

[Job 17:10 But as for all [of] you, do return & come [again:] for I can't find one wise man among you.] Is there any [sinfulness] in my [mouth?] Can't I [determine] perverse [words by] my taste?

Job 5:1-27 Eliphaz Continues to Chastise Job

Eliphaz Continues to Chastise Job

Job 5:1-27                                 Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

Call now, if there [are] any [who] will answer you & to which of the saints will you turn? For [anger] has killed the foolish man & envy slays the [simple minded.] I have seen the foolish taking root, but I suddenly cursed [the place he lived.]

[Isaiah 45:20-21 Assemble yourselves & come. Draw [close] together, you [who] are escaped [from] the nations. They have no knowledge, [who] set up the wood of their [carved] image & pray to a god that cannot save. You tell & bring them near.

[Yes,] let them [consult] together. Who has declared this from ancient [times?] Who has told it from that time? Haven’t I, the Lord? And there is no [other] God beside Me; a just God & a Savior. There is none beside Me.

His children are far from safety & they are crushed in the gate. Neither is there any to deliver them. [Psalm 109:12 Let there be [no one] to extend mercy to him & neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.]

The hungry eat up [their] harvest & even take it out of the thorns & the robber swallows up their [possessions.] Although affliction [doesn't] come [out of the dirt,] neither does trouble [sprout] out of the ground. Yet man is born unto trouble, [like] the sparks [of the campfire] fly upward.

[But as for me,] I would seek God & I would [surrender] my [case] to God; [Who] does great & marvelous things; unsearchable, without number. Who gives rain upon the earth & sends waters upon the fields: To set up on high those [who are lowly] & that those [who] mourn may be exalted to safety.

[God frustrates the plots] of the [devious,] so their hands can't [carry out] their [plans.] [God] takes the wise in their own craftiness & the [plots of the devious] are carried [away.]

Darkness [comes upon them] in the daytime & grope [at noon like] in the night. But [God] saves the poor from the sword, from their [slander] & from the hand of the mighty. So, the poor have hope & the [sinful] mouth [is] stopped.

[Look,] happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore, [don't] despise [when you are corrected by] the Almighty. For He makes sore & [bandages] up. [God] wounds & His hands make whole. [Revelation 3:19 I [reprimand] & [chastise] as many as I love. Therefore, be zealous & repent.]

He shall deliver you in 6 troubles & in 7, no evil shall touch you. [God] shall redeem you from death, in famine & from the power of the sword in war. You shall be [hidden] from the [slanderous] tongue & neither shall you be afraid of destruction, when it comes.

You shall laugh at destruction & famine. Neither shall you be afraid of [wild animals] of the earth. For you shall be in [joined] with the stones of the field & the [animals] of the field shall be at peace with you.

And you shall know that your [tent] shall be in peace & you shall visit [the place you reside] & shall not sin. You shall also know that your [descendants] shall be [many] & your offspring [shall be like] the grass of the earth.

You shall come to your grave [at your] full age, like a [stalk] of corn [ripens in its] season. We have searched it [out] & it is so. Hear it & know it, for your [own] good.

Job 4:1-21 Eliphaz Implies Job Must Have Deserved It

Eliphaz Implies Job Must Have Deserved It

Job 4:1-21                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, Eliphaz, the Temanite, answered & said, If we [try to speak] with you, [will] you [continue to] be grieved? Who can [keep] himself from speaking? [Look,] you have instructed many & you have strengthened [those with] weak hands.

Your words have [uplifted those who were] falling & you have strengthened [those with] feeble knees. But it has come upon you now & you [faint.] It [affects] you and you're troubled.

Isn't this your fear, [that affects] your confidence, your hope & your [upright] ways? I pray [that] you remember who [has] ever perished, being innocent? Or where were the righteous cut off?

Even as I have seen, [those who] plow iniquity & sow wickedness, [harvest] the same. By the blast of God, they perish & by the breath of His nostrils they are [destroyed.]

The roaring of the lion, the [sound] of the fierce lion & the teeth of the young lions, are broken. The old lion perishes for lack of prey [to eat] & the [strong] lion's [cubs] are scattered [around.]

Now, [something] was secretly brought to me & [my] ear [heard] a little [of it.] [During] thoughts from the visions [at] night, when deep sleep falls on men, Fear & trembling came upon me, which made all my bones shake.

Then, a spirit passed [in front of] my face & the hair [on my skin] stood up. It stood still, but I couldn't [recognize its appearance.] An image was before [my] eyes & there was silence & I heard a voice, saying, Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than his Maker?

[Look,] He put no trust in His servants & [God] charged His angels with [lack of good judgment.] How much less [would He trust] in [those who live] in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the [dirt] & are crushed before the moth [is crushed?]

They are destroyed from morning to evening. They perish forever without any [paying attention to] it. Doesn't their [excellence within] them go away? They die, even without wisdom.

Job 3:1-26 Job Curses the Day He was Born & Wishes He was in the Grave

Job Curses the Day He was Born & Wishes He was in the Grave

Job 3:1-26                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

After this, Job opened his mouth & cursed [the day he was born.] And Job [spoke] & said, Let the day perish [in which] I was born & the night it was said, There is a [male] child conceived.

Let that day be darkness. Let God not regard it from above. Neither let the light shine upon it. Let darkness & the shadow of death, stain it. Let a cloud dwell upon it & let the blackness of day terrify it.

As for that night, let darkness seize it & let it not [be included in] the days of the year. Let it not [be included in] the days of the year. Let it not [be among] the number of the months. Let the night be [lonely] & let no joyful voice come [in it.]

Let them curse it, [who] curse the day, who are ready to raise up their [mournful cries.] Let the stars of twilight be dark. Let it look for light, but have none. Neither let it see the [sunrise] of day, because it [didn't close] up the doors of my mother's womb. Nor [did it hide the] sorrow from [my] eyes.

Why [didn't] I die from the womb? Why [didn't] I [perish] when I came out of the belly? Why [didn't] the knees prevent me [from being born?] Or why [didn't] the breasts I should suck [stop me?] For now, I should have lain still & been quiet. I should have slept [in death.]

Then, I [would have] been at rest, with [the] kings & counselors of the earth, [who] built themselves desolate [& empty] places for themselves. Or with princes, [who] had gold & filled their houses with silver.

Or [I had been like] a hidden untimely birth; [like stillborn] infants, [who] never saw light. There, the wicked cease from troubling [others] & the weary are there at rest. There, the prisoners rest together. They [don't] hear the voice of the oppressor.

The [powerless & the powerful] are there & the servant is free from his master. [Why] is light given to him [who] is in misery & life to [those with] bitter [souls, who] long for death, but it [doesn't] come,

and they [search] & dig for it, more than for [hidden] treasures, [who] rejoice exceedingly & are glad, when they can find the grave? Why is light given to a man whose [path] is [hidden & to] whom God has hedged in?

For my sighing comes before I eat & my [groans] are poured out like the waters. For the thing [that] I greatly feared, [has] come upon me. And [what] I was afraid of, [has happened] to me. I wasn't in safety, neither had I rest, [nor] was I quiet, [but still] trouble came.

Job 2:1-13 What Happened to Job's Body

What Happened to Job's Body

Job 2:1-13                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

Again, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord. And Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord. And the Lord said to Satan [Where] have you come from? And Satan answered the Lord & said, From going to & fro [on] the earth & from walking up & down [on] it.

And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant, Job, that there [are] none like him [on] the earth, a [blameless] & upright man, one [who] fears [respects] God & [avoids] evil? And still [Job holds tight to] his integrity, although you moved Me against [Job] to destroy him without cause.

And Satan answered the Lord & said, Skin for skin, [yet,] all that a man has, he will give for his life. But put [out] Your hand now & touch his flesh & bone & he will curse You to Your face.

And the Lord said to Satan, [Look, Job's] in your hand, but save his life. So, Satan went [out] from the presence of the Lord & [struck] Job with [very painful] boils from the sole of his foot to the crown [of his head.]

[Then,] Job took a [piece of broken pottery] to scrape himself [with it.] And Job sat down among the ashes. Then, [Job's] wife said to him, [Do] you still [maintain] your integrity? Curse God & die.

But [Job] said to her, You [speak like] one of the foolish women [speak.] What? Shall we [only] receive good at the hand of God & not receive [bad things?] In all this, Job didn't sin with his lips & [what he said.]

Now, when Job's 3 friends heard of all the [bad things] that [had] come upon [Job,] they [each] came from his own [area:] Eliphaz, the Temanite; Bildad, the Shuhite & Zophar, the Naamathite, for they had [arranged] to come together to mourn with [Job] & to comfort him.

And when they [looked] up [from a far distance,] they [didn't know] him. They lifted up their [voices] & wept. [They each tore his cloak] & sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

So, they sat down with [Job] on the ground [for] 7 days & 7 nights [without saying] a word to [Job, because] they saw that [Job's] grief was very great.

Job 1:1-22 What Happened to Job's Family & Possessions

What Happened to Job's Family & Possessions

Job 1:1-22                                  Book of Job [in Smaller Chunks]

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job & [this] man was [blameless] & upright & [someone who] feared [respected] God & [avoided] evil. And 7 sons & 3 daughters were born to [Job.]

Also, [he owned] 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 [female donkeys] & a very [large] household. So that [Job] was the greatest of all the men of the east. And [Job’s] sons went & feasted in their houses, [each on] his day & [they] sent & called for their 3 sisters to eat & drink with them.

And it [happened,] when the days of their feasting were about [over,] that Job sent & sanctified them & rose up early in the morning & offered burnt [sacrifices], according to the number of all [of] them. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned & cursed God in their hearts. Job did [this] continually.

Now, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord & Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, [Where have you come from?] Then, Satan answered the Lord & said, [I came] from going to & fro [on] the earth & from walking up & down [on] it.

And the Lord said to Satan, [Have] You considered My servant, Job? There is none like him [on] the earth, a [blameless] & upright man. One [who] fears [respects] God & [avoids] evil.

Then, Satan answered the Lord & said, [Does] Job fear [respect] God for [nothing?] Haven't You made a hedge [around] him & [around] his house & [around] all he [has] on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands & his [possessions are] increased in the land.

But put [out] Your hand now & touch all he has & he will curse You to Your face. And the Lord said to Satan, [Look,] all that [Job] has is in your power, only [don't] put [out] your hand upon [him.]

So, Satan went [out] from the presence of the Lord. And there was a day when [Job's] sons & daughters were eating & drinking wine in their eldest brother's house.

And a messenger came there to Job & said, The oxen were plowing & the [donkeys] were feeding beside them & the Sabeans [got] them & took them away. [Yes,] they have [killed] your servants with the edge of the sword & only I alone escaped to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another [servant] also came there. [He] said, The fire of God [has] fallen from heaven & has burned up the sheep & the [other] servants & [destroyed] them. And only I escaped alone to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another also came there. [He] said, The Chaldeans [formed] 3 bands [of raiders] & [got] the camels & carried them away & [struck down & killed] the servants with the edge of the sword. And only I escaped alone to tell you.

While he was [still] speaking, another also came there. [He] said, Your sons & daughters were eating & drinking wine in the eldest brother's house. And [look,] there came a great wind from the wilderness & [struck] the 4 corners of the house & it fell upon the young men & they are dead.

Only I escaped alone to tell you. Then, Job arose & [tore] his [robe] & shaved his head [in mourning] & fell down upon the ground & worshiped [God] & said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb & I shall be naked [when I leave.]

The Lord gave & the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. In all this, Job [didn't] sin, nor [did he blame] God foolishly.
