About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

John 3:1-36 Nicodemus Wants to Know How He Can be Born Again if He's Old

Nicodemus Wants to Know How He Can be Born Again if He's Old

John 3:1-36          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

There was a man [from] the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. [Nicodemus] came to Jesus [at] night, & said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You [are] a teacher, [Who has] come from God. For no man can do these miracles that You [do, unless] God [is] with Him. [Matthew 4:23-24 And Jesus went all [around] Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, & preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, & healing all [types] of: sickness, & [diseases] among the people. And HIs fame went throughout all [of] Syria. And they brought all sick people, [who] were taken with [various:] diseases, torments, were possessed by [demons,] were [epileptics,] & those, who] [were] [paralyzed,] to [Jesus,] & He healed them.]

Jesus answered & said to [Nicodemus,] [Very, truly,] I say to you, [Unless] a man [is] born again, he can't see the Kingdom of God. [John 1:12-13 But as many as received, [a.k.a. accepted, Jesus,] He gave power to them to become the sons of God, even to [those, who] believe [in] His Name. [Who] weren't born of: blood, the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but [the will] of God.]

Nicodemus said to [Jesus,] How can a man be born, when he is old? Can he enter into his mother's womb [a] 2nd time, & be born? Jesus answered, [Very truly,] I say to you, [Unless] a man [is] born of the water & of the Spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God. [Mark 16:16 He, [who believes] & is baptized, shall be saved. But he, [who doesn't believe,] shall be [condemned.

[What] is born of the flesh, is flesh. And [what] is born of the Spirit, is spirit. [Don't] marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. The wind [blows] where is [wishes,] & you [hear] the sound [of it,] but can't tell [where] it [comes] [from,] & [where] it [goes.] [The same] is everyone [who] is born of the Spirit. [Romans 11:33-34 [God's] ways are unsearchable, & past finding out! [Of] both: the depth of the [richness] of the wisdom & knowledge of God. For who [has] known the mind of the Lord? Or who [has] been [God's counselor?]

Nicodemus answered & said to [Jesus,] How can these things be? Jesus answered & said to [Nicodemus,] [Aren't] you a master, [a.k.a. teacher,] of Israel, & [don't] know these things? [Very, truly,] I say to you, We speak [what] we do know, & testify [what] we have seen. And [still,] you [haven't received] our witness. [John 4:13-14 Jesus answered & said to her, [Whoever drinks from] this water [in the well,] shall thirst again. But [whoever drinks from] the water that I shall give him, shall never thirst. But the water that I shall give him, shall be a well of water [within] him, springing up into everlasting life.]

If I had told you earthly things, & you [don't] believe, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man [has] ascended up to heaven, but He, [Who] came down from heaven, even the Son of Man, [Whose residence] is in heaven.

*And [like] Moses lifted up the serpent, [a.k.a. snake,] in the wilderness, even so the Son of Man must be lifted up: [so] that [whoever believes] in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life. [Acts 1:8-11 *But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, comes] upon you. And you shall be [My] witnesses both in: Jerusalem, & all of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & in Samaria, & to the [furthest parts] of the earth. And when [Jesus] had spoken these things, while they [watched,] a cloud received Him, & He was taken up out of their sight. And while they [steadily] looked toward heaven, as [Jesus] went up, & [saw] 2 men in white [garments,] stood by them. [Who] said, You men of Galilee, why [do] you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, [Who] is taken up from you into heaven, shall [also] come in [similar] manner, as you have seen Him go into heaven.]

*For God loved the world so [much,] that He gave His only begotten Son, [so] that [whoever believes] in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. [Isaiah 9:6-7 *For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His Name shall be called: Wonderful, [Counselor,] The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. *There shall be no end of the increase of His government & peace, upon the throne of David, & upon His Kingdom, to order, [a.k.a. command,] it, & to establish it with judgment & with justice from [now on,] even forever. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will [accomplish] this.]

*For God [didn't send] His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through Him. He, [who believes in] Him, isn't condemned. But he, [who doesn't believe,] is already condemned, because he hasn't believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God. [2 Peter 3:9 *The Lord is not slack, [a.k.a. slow,] concerning His promise, [like] some men [consider] slackness; but is [patient toward] us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.]

*And this is the condemnation, that Light [has] come into the world, & men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. [Isaiah 49:5-6 *And now, the Lord [says, Who] formed Me in the womb to be His servant, to bring Jacob to Him again. [Although] Israel [isn't] gathered, [still] I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord. And My God shall be My strength. *And He said, It is a light, [a.k.a. small,] thing, that You shall be My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, & to restore the preserved, [a.k.a. saved,] of Israel. I will also give You for a Light to the Gentiles, [so] that You [may] be My Salvation to the [ends] of the earth.]

For everyone, [who does] evil, [hates] the Light, neither [does he] [come] to the Light, lest his deeds should be [chastised.] [Job 24:13 *They are of those, [who] rebel against the Light. They [don't] know the ways [of the Light,] nor [do they] [remain] in the [Light's] paths.]

But he, [who does] [what is:] truth, [comes] to the light, [so] that his deeds may be made [visible,] & that they are [brought about through] God. After these things, Jesus & His disciples came into the land of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & [Jesus waited] there with them, & baptized. [John 4:1-2 Therefore, when the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made & baptized more disciples than John, (although, Jesus, Himself, [didn't] baptize, but His disciples [baptized.)

And John was also baptizing in Aenon, [a.k.a. Enon, or a fountain,] near to Salim, because there was much water there. And they came, & were baptized. For John wasn't [thrown] into prison, yet.

Then, a question arose there between some of John's disciples, & the Jews about purifying. And they came to John, & said to him, Rabbi, He, [Who] was with you, beyond [the] Jordan [River, about] [Whom] you bare witness, [a.k.a. testified, baptizes,] & all men come to [Jesus.]

John answered, & said, A man can receive nothing, [unless] it [is] given [to] Him from heaven. *You, yourselves, bear witness [about] me, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before Him. [Isaiah 40:3-5 *The voice of him, [who] cries [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, & make a highway straight in the desert for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, [a.k.a. raised,] & every mountain & hill shall be made low. And the crooked [places,] shall be made straight, & the rough places [smooth.] And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, & all flesh shall see it together. For the mouth of the Lord [has] spoken it.]

He, [who] has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, [is he,] [who stands,] & [hears] Him, & rejoices greatly, because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore, this [is] my joy, & is fulfilled. *[Jesus] must increase, but I must decrease. [Jeremiah 23:5-6 *[Watch,] the Lord says, the days come that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, & a King shall [rule] & prosper, & shall [carry out] judgment & justice. *[During] His days, Judah shall be saved, & Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His Name [by which] He shall be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.]

He, [Who] comes from above, is above all. He, [who] is [from] the earth, is earthly, & [speaks] of the earth. He, [Who comes] from heaven, is above all.      [1 John 4:5-6 They are of the world. Therefore, they speak of the world, & the world hears them. We are [from] God. He, [who knows] God, [hears] us. He, [who] isn't of God, [doesn't] hear us. [By this,] [you] know we, [humans are of:] the Spirit of Truth, [or] the spirit of error, [a.k.a. that leads astray.]

And He, [Who testifies] what He has seen & heard, [but] no man receives, [a.k.a. accepts,] His testimony. He [who] has received His testimony, [has certified] that God is True. *For He, Whom God has sent, [speaks] the Words of God. For God [doesn't give] the Spirit by measure to Him. [John 7:6-7 Then Jesus said to them, My time [hasn't] come yet. But your time is [always] ready. The world can't hate you; but it [hates] Me, because I testify of it, that the works [of it] are evil.

The Father loves the Son, & [has] given all things into His [hands, a.k.a. under His control.] [Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered to Me [from] My Father. And no man [knows] the Son, but the Father. Neither [does] any man [know] the Father, [except] the Son, & he, to [whomever] the Son will reveal Him.]

He, [who believes in] the Son, [has] everlasting life. And he, [who doesn't believe] [in] the Son, shall not see [eternal life, but the [anger] of God abides on him. [Revelation 22:12-15 *And, [watch,] I come quickly; & My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & Last. Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are: dogs; sorcerers; [sexual traffickers;] murderers; idolaters, & [whoever loves & makes] [up] [lies. ]

John 2:1-25 Jesus Turns the Water into Wine at a Wedding

Jesus Turns the Water into Wine at a Wedding

John 2:1-25          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

And the 3rd day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. And the mother of Jesus was there, & both: Jesus & His disciples [were] called to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine.

Jesus [said] to her, Woman, what [do] I have to do with you? [My] hour [hasn't] come yet. [Jesus'] mother [said] to the servants, Do [whatever] He says to you. And [sitting] there were 6 waterpots of stone, [which] [contain] 2 or 3 firkins, [each, according to] the [customs] of purifying the Jews.

Jesus [said to the servants,] Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And [Jesus said] to them, Draw [some] out now, & [carry] [it] to the governor, [a.k.a. manager,] of the feast. And they [carried] it.

When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that made [into] wine, & [didn't know where] it was [from:] (but the servants, [who] drew the water knew.) The governor of the feast called the bridegroom, & [said] to him, Every man [sets out] the good wine [in] the beginning.

And when men have drunk [much,] then [he sets out the wine] that is worse, [a.k.a. inferior.] But you have kept the good wine until now. This [is the] beginning of miracles [that] Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, & [made] His glory [apparent,] & His disciples believed [in] Him. [John 4:53-54 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in which Jesus said to him, Your son lives. And [he,]& his whole [household] believed. This is again, the 2nd miracle that Jesus did, when he [had] come out of Judaea, [a.k.a Judea,] into Galilee.]

After this, [Jesus,] His mother, His brethren, & His disciples, went down to Capernaum. And they [stayed] there [a few] days. And the Jew's Passover was at hand, & Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And [Jesus] found in the temple, those [who] sold: oxen, sheep, & doves, & the money changers sitting. *And when He had made a scourge of small cords, [Jesus] drove them all out of the temple, & the: sheep, & oxen. And poured out all the changer's money, & [threw over] the tables. [Isaiah 56:7 *I will bring even [those] to My Holy Mountain, & make them joyful in My house of prayer, & their burnt offerings & their sacrifices shall be accepted upon [My] altar, for [My] house shall be called [a] house of prayer for all people.]

And said to [those, who] sold doves, Take these things [from] [here. Don't] make My Father's house [a] house of merchandise. *And [Jesus'] disciples remembered that it was written [in the Scriptures,] The zeal of Your house has eaten Me up. [Psalm 69:9 *For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up. And the reproaches of [those, who disgraced] You, are fallen upon Me.]

Then, the Jews answered & said to Him, What sign [do] You [show] to us, [since] You [do] these things? *Jesus answered & said to them, Destroy this temple, & in 3 days, I will raise it up. Then, the Jews said, This temple [took] 46 years in building [it,] & [will] You [raise] it up in 3 days? But [Jesus spoke] of the temple of His body. [Luke 24:4-7 *And it [happened,] as they were [very confused about] it, & [saw] 2 men in shining garments stood by them. And [since] they were afraid, bowed down their faces to the [ground.] [The 2 men] said to them, Why [do] you seek the Living among the dead? He isn't here, but is risen. Remember how He [spoke] to you, when He was [still] in Galilee, saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, & be crucified, & rise again the third day.]

*Therefore, when [Jesus] was risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them, & they believed the Scripture, & the Word [that] Jesus had said.

Now, when [Jesus] was in Jerusalem at the Passover, [on] the feast day, many believed in His Name, when they saw the miracles [that Jesus] did.

But Jesus didn't commit, [a.k.a. devote] Himself to them, because He knew all men. [Matthew 9:4-7 And Jeus knowing their thoughts said, [For what reason,] [do] you think evil in your hearts? For [which] is easier to say, Your sins [are] forgiven you, or to say, Arise & walk? But [so] that you may know that the Son of Man [has] power on earth to forgive sins, (then [Jesus] said to the [paralyzed,) Arise, & take up your bed, & go to your house. And he arose, & departed to his house.]

And [Jesus] [didn't] need that any should testify of man: for He knew what was in man. [John 6:64 But there are some of you, [who don't] believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were [who didn't] believe, & who [would] betray Him.]

John 1:1-51 In the Beginning Was the Word & the Word Was God

In the Beginning Was the Word & the Word Was God

John 1:1-51          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. [John 20:27-29 *Then [Jesus] said to Thomas, Reach your finger [here,] & [see] My hands. And reach your hand [here,] & thrust it into My side. And [don't] be faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered & said to [Jesus,] My Lord & my God. Jesus [said] to him, Thomas, because you [have] seen Me, you [have] believed. Blessed are [those, who] haven't seen, & [still] have believed.

The same was in the beginning with God. [Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the: fish of the sea; [birds] of the air; cattle, [a.k.a. livestock,] & over all the earth, & over every creeping thing that [creeps] upon the earth.]

All things were made by Him. And not anything that was made, was made without Him. [Psalm 33:6-8 By the Word of God, the heavens were made. And all the hosts of [heaven] [were made] by the breath of His mouth. He [gathers] the waters of the sea together, [like] a heap. He lays up the [deep] [waters] in storehouses. Let all the earth fear, [a.k.a. respect] the Lord, & let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.]

In Him was life; & the life was the Light of men. [1 John 1:7 But if you walk, [a.k.a. follow] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

And the Light [shines] in the darkness; & the darkness [didn't comprehend, a.k.a. understand,] it. [John 8:12 Then, Jesus [spoke] to them again, I Am the Light of the world. He, [who follows] Me shall not walk, [a.k.a follow,] in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.]

*There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. *The same, came for a witness, to bear witness, [a.k.a. to testify,] of the Light, [so] that all men might believe through him. [Malachi 3:1 *[Look,] I send My messenger, & he shall prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, Whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the Covenant, [a.k.a. contract,] Whom you delight in. [Watch,] He shall come, says the Lord of Hosts.]

*He, [a.k.a. John,] wasn't that Light, but was sent to [testify] of that Light. [Isaiah 9:2 *The people [who] walked, [a.k.a. followed,] in darkness have seen a great Light. [Those, who] dwell in the land of the shadow of death, [have] the Light shined upon them.]

*That was the True Light, [Who enlightens] every man, [who] comes into the world.

He was in the world, & the world was made by Him. [Hebrews 1:2 In these last days, [God] has spoken to us [through] His Son, Whom He [has] appointed heir of all things, & by Whom, He also made the worlds.]

And the world [didn't know] Him. *He came unto His own, & His own [didn't] receive, [a.k.a. accept,] Him. [Isaiah 53:3 *He is despised & rejected [by] men. A Man of sorrows, & acquainted with grief. And we hid [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised, & we [didn't hold] Him [in high regard.]

But as many as received, a.k.a. accepted,] Him, He gave power to them to become the sons of God, even to [those, who] believe [in] His Name: who were born, not of blood, nor [from] the will of flesh, nor [from] the will of man, but [through] God. [2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if any man [is] in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things [have] passed away, & [see,] all things [have become new.]

And the Word was made flesh, & dwelt among us. (And we [saw] His glory, the glory as the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace & truth. [Mark 9:7-8 *And there was a cloud that overshadowed them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son. Hear Him.]

*John bare witness of Him, & cried [out] saying, This was He of Whom I [spoke,] He, [Who comes] after me, is preferred before me. For He was before me. [Matthew 3:11 *I, [a.k.a. John the Baptist,] indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But He, [Who] comes after me, is mightier than I, Whose shoes I am not worthy to [carry.] He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & with fire.]

And we have all received [from] His fullness, [a.k.a. richness,] & grace [upon] grace. [Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned, & come short of the glory of God; being freely justified by His grace, through the redemption that is [through] Christ Jesus.]

For the Law was given by Moses, but grace & truth came by Jesus Christ. [John 14:6 Jesus said to [Thomas,] I Am the Way, The Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.

*No man [has] seen God at any time, [but] the only begotten Son, [Who] is in the bosom, [a.k.a. arms,] of the Father, & He has declared Him. [Psalm 2:7 *I will declare the decree: The Lord [has] said to Me, You [are] My Son. This day I have begotten You.]

And when the Jews sent priests & Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who [are] you? This is the record of John. And [John] confessed, & [didn't] deny; but confessed, I am not the Christ. [John 5:36 But I have [a] greater, [a.k.a. more significant] witness than that of John. For the works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] which the Father [has] given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness, [a.k.a. testify,] of Me, that the Father [has] sent Me.

And they asked [John,] What then? [Are] you [Elijah?] And [John] said, I am not. [Are] you that prophet? And [John] answered, No. Then, they said to [John,] Who [are] you? [So,] that we may give an answer to [those, who] sent us.

What [do] you [say about] yourself? *[John] said, I am the voice of one crying [out] in the wilderness, Make straight the [road] of the Lord, [like] the prophet [Isaiah] said. [Isaiah 40:3 *The voice of him, [who cries] [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, & make a straight highway in the desert for our God.]

And [those, who] were sent, were [from] the Pharisees. And they asked [John,] & said to him, Then, why [do] you baptize, if you [aren't] that: Christ, [Elijah, nor] that prophet? John answered them, saying, I baptize with water. But there [stands] One among you, Whom you [don't] know. It is He, Who [comes] after me, & is preferred before me, Whose shoe [buckle,] I'm not worthy to [loosen.] [Colossians 1:17 And He [was] before all things, & all things consist, [a.k.a. exist] by Him.]

These things were done in Bethabara, beyond [the] Jordan [River,] where John was baptizing. *The next day, John [saw] Jesus coming to him, & [said, Look,] the Lamb of God, [Who takes] away the sin of the world. [Isaiah 53:5-6 *But He was wounded for out [sins.] He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him. And with His stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks,] we are healed. *All we like sheep have gone astray. We have, everyone, turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord [has] laid on Him the [sin] of us all.]

This is He, of Whom I said, After me [comes] a Man, [Who] is preferred before me: for He was before me. And I [didn't know] Him. But that He should be made manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] to Israel. Therefore, I [have] come baptizing with water.

And John [testified,] saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven, like a dove, & it [remained] upon Him. *I [didn't know] Him: but He, [Who] sent me to baptize with water, the Same said to me, Upon Whom you [shall] see the Spirit descending, & remaining on Him, the Same is He, [Who] baptizes with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.] [John 14:25-26 I have spoken these things to you, [still] being present with you. But the Comforter, [Who] is the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] Whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, & [remind] you [about] all things, [whatever] I have said to you.

And I saw, & [testified] that this Is the Son of God. [Afterwards,] again, the next day, John, & his 2 disciples stood, & looking upon Jesus as He walked, [John said, Look,] the Lamb of God! And the 2 disciples heard [John] speak, & they followed Jesus.

Then, Jesus turned, & saw them following, & [said] to them, What [do] you seek? They said to [Jesus,] Rabbi, (which is to say, & [is] being interpreted, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,]) where [do] You [stay?] [Jesus] said to them, Come & see. They came & saw where [Jesus] dwelt, & [stayed] with Him that day: for it was about the 10th hour.

One of the two, [who] heard John speak, & followed [Jesus,] was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He 1st [went] & [found] his own brother, Simon. And [said] to [Simon Peter,] We have found the [Messiah,] which is, being interpreted, the Christ, [a.k.a. Anointed One.]

And [Andrew] brought [Simon Peter] to Jesus. And when Jesus [saw] him, He said, You [are] Simon, the son of [Jonah.] You shall be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone, [a.k.a. Peter.]

The following day, Jesus [wanted] to go [out] to Galilee, & [found] Philip, & said to him, Follow Me. Now, Philip was [from] Bethsaida, the city of Andrew & Peter. Philip [found] Nathanael, [a.k.a. Bartholomew.]

*And said to [Nathanel,] We have found Him, of Whom Moses & the prophets [wrote] [about] in the Law, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. [Deuteronomy 18:18-19 *I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, [similar] to you, & will put My Words in His mouth. And He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. *And it shall [happen,] that [whoever] won't [pay attention] to My Words, [that] He shall speak in My Name, I will require it [from] him, [a.k.a. hold him accountable for disregarding My Words.]

And Nathanael said to [Philip,] Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip [said] to him, Come & see. Jesus saw Nathanael, coming to Him, & said [about] him, [Look,] indeed an Israelite, in whom is no [deceit!] Nathanael [said] to [Jesus, How] do You [know] me? Jesus answered & said to [Nathanael,] Before Philip called you, I saw you when you [were] under the fig tree.

*Nathanael answered & said to [Jesus,] Rabbi, [a.k.a. Teacher,] You [are] the Son of God. You [are] the King of Israel.

Jesus answered & said to [Nathanael,] [Do] you [believe,] because I said I saw you under a fig tree? You shall see greater things than these. *And [Jesus] said to [Nathanael,] [Very, truly,] I say to you, [In the future,] you shall see heaven open, & the Angels of God ascending & descending upon the Son of Man.

[Acts 1:8-11 *But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit, comes] upon you. And you shall be [My] witnesses both in: Jerusalem, Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & in Samaria, & to the [furthest parts] of the earth. And when [Jesus] had spoken these things, while they [looked,] a cloud received [Jesus] & He was taken up, out of their sight. And while they [steadily] looked toward heaven, as [Jesus] went up, & [saw] 2 men stood by them in white [garments.] [Who] also said, You men of Galilee, why [do] you stand gazing up into heaven? *This same Jesus, [Who] is taken up from you into heaven, shall [also] come in [similar] manner, as you have seen Him go into heaven.]
