About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Esther 10:1-3 Mordecai was Next in Power to the King

Mordecai' was Next in Power to the King

Esther 10:1-3    The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

And king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes, placed] a tribute upon the land & upon the [coastal islands] of the sea.

[Matthew 22:17-21 Therefore, tell us, What [do] you think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? But Jesus [realized] their wickedness & said, Why [do] you tempt Me, you hypocrites? [Show] Me the tribute money. And they brought to [Jesus] a penny. And He said to them, Whose is this image & [inscription?] They said to Him, Caesar's. Then He [said] to them, [Give] to Caesar the things [that] are Caesar's & unto God, the things that are God's.

Aren't the declaration of [Mordecai's] greatness, [in which] the king advanced him & his [great] acts of power & might, written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Media & Persia?

For Mordecai, the Jew, was next to king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes] & [sought] the wealth of his people & [was] great among the Jews & was accepted [by] the multitude of his brethren, speaking peace to all his [descendants.]

[Psalm 122:8-9 From my brethren & my companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you. Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.]

Esther 9:1-32 The Jews Defend Themselves Against Their Enemies

The Jews Defend Themselves Against Their Enemies

Esther 9:1-32           The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, in the 12th month, Adar, on the same 13th day, [when] the enemies of the Jews hoped to have [overpowered] them, when the king's [original command] & decree drew near to [be carried out, (although] it was turned to the [opposite,] that the Jews had [control] over [those, who] hated them.)

The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes,] to [seize those who] sought their [harm] & no man could withstand them.

For the fear [respect] of [the Jews was] upon all people. And all the rulers, lieutenants, deputies & officers of the king, [in] the provinces, helped the Jews; because the fear [respect] of Mordecai fell upon them.

For Mordecai was [important] in the king's [palace] & his fame went throughout all the provinces, [because] this man, Mordecai, [grew] greater & greater. The Jews [struck] all their enemies [down with] the sword. They did what they [wanted] to those [who] hated them [by] slaughter & destruction.

And in the palace of Shushan, [a.k.a. Susa,] & Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha, Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha, Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai & Vajezatha, [a.k.a. Vaizatha,] the Jews [killed] & destroyed 500 men,

They slew the 10 sons of Haman, the son of Hammedatha & the enemy of the Jews. But they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.] On that day, the number of those slain was brought before the king, in the palace of Shusan.

And the king said to queen Esther, The Jews have slain & destroyed 500 men [at] the palace in Shushan & the 10 sons of Haman. What have they done in the rest of the king's provinces?

What is your petition now? And it shall be granted [to] you; or what [do] you request further? And it shall be done. Then, Esther said, If it [pleases] the king, let it be granted to the Jews [who] are in Shushan, to do tomorrow, according to this day's decree & let Haman's 10 sons be hanged on the gallows.

And the king commanded it to be done. And the decree was given at Sushan & they hanged Haman's 10 sons. The Jews that were in Shushan gathered themselves together on the 14th day, also of the month Adar & slew 300 men at Shushan, but they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.]

But the other Jews [who] were in the king's provinces, gathered themselves together & stood [up] for their lives & had [peace] from their enemies & slew 75,000 of their [enemies,] but they [didn't lay] their [hands] on the [plunder.]

On the 13th & 14th [days] of the month, Adar, they rested & made it a day of feasting & gladness. But the Jews [who] were at Shushan assembled together on the 13th, 14th & 15th [days of Adar,] they rested & made it a day of feasting & gladness.

Therefore, the Jews of the villages, [who lived] in towns [without walls,] made the 14th day of the month, Adar, a day of gladness, feasting, a [holiday] & sending portions [of food] to one another.

And Mordecai wrote these things & sent letters to all the Jews [who] were in all of king [Ahasuerus'] provinces, both [near] & far, to [establish] this among them, that they should [celebrate] the 14th & 15th [days] of the month, Adar, [each year.]

[During] the days the Jews rested from their enemies & the month [that] turned from sorrow to joy & from mourning into a [holiday,] that they should make them days of: feasting, joy & sending portions to one another & gifts to the poor.

And the Jews [set about] to do [what] they had begun, & as Mordecai had written to them, because Haman, the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had [plotted] against the Jews to destroy them & had cast the lot, Pur, to consume them & to destroy them.

But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that [Haman's] wicked device he [plotted] against the Jews, should return upon his own head & that he & his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

[For this reason,] they called these days Purim, after the name of Pur, [because of] all the words of this letter & [what] they had seen [related to] this matter & [what had happened] to them.

The Jews took [it] upon [themselves,] upon their [descendants] & all [who] joined [with] them, [to ordain that without] fail, they would [celebrate] these 2 days according to [how its written, at its] appointed time every year.

And that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, every city. And these  days of Purim, should not fail from [being remembered] among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish among their [descendants.]

Then, queen Esther, [Abihail's] daughter & Mordecai, the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this 2nd letter of Purim. [Esther 2:7 And [Mordecai] brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter: for she had neither father nor mother. And the [maiden] was [lovely] & beautiful; whom Mordecai took for his own daughter, when her father & mother were dead.]

And [Mordecai] sent the letters to the 127 provinces, to all the Jews, of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace & truth, to conform these days of Purim in their appointed times, according as Mordecai, the Jew & queen Esther had [commanded] them & decreed the matters of [fasting & mournful weeping] for themselves & their [descendants.]

And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim & it was written in the book.

Esther 8:1-17 Queen Esther Begs the King to Destroy the Gallows Haman Made for the Jews

Queen Esther Begs the King to Destroy the Gallows Haman Made for the Jews

Esther 8:1-17            The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

On that day, king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes, gave] the house of Haman, the Jew's enemy, to queen Esther. And Mordecai came before the king; for Esther had told what [his relationship] was to her.

And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman & gave it to Mordecai. And Esther [put] Mordecai over the house of Haman.

And Esther [spoke] again before the king & fell down at his feet & [begged] him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman, the Agagite & his [scheme] he had devised against the Jews.

Then, the king held out the golden scepter toward Esther. So, Esther arose & stood [in front of] the king & said, If it [pleases] the king & if I've found favor in his sight & [this] thing [seems] right before the king & [I'm] pleasing in his eyes, let the written letters devised by Haman, the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, [that] he wrote, be reversed to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces.

For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my [relatives?] Then, king Ahuasuerus said, to queen Esther & to Mordecai, the Jew, [Look,] I have given Esther the house of Haman & they have hanged him upon the gallows, because he laid his hand [against] the Jews.

Also, write for the Jews, as you [please,] in the king's name & seal it with the king's ring. For no man may reverse what is written in the king's name & sealed with the king's ring.

Then, the king's scribes were called on the 23rd day of the 3rd month [of] Sivan, & it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded to the Jews, the lieutenants, the deputies & rulers of the 127 provinces which are from India to Ethiopia, according to every people, [including the] Jews & their writing & language.

And [Mordecai] wrote in king Ahasuerus' name & sealed it with the king's ring & sent [the] letters by [postal] riders [on] horseback, mules, camels & young dromedaries.

[In which] the king granted the Jews, [who] were in every city to gather themselves together & to stand [up] for their life, to destroy, slay & cause them to perish,

all the people of power & [any] province, that would assault them, both little ones & women & to take [their plunder froom] them for a [prize,] upon one day, in all the provinces, [specifically,] the 13th day, of the 12th month, which is the month, Adar.

The copy of the [written command was] to be given in every province & was published to all people, [so] that the Jews should be ready against that day, to avenge themselves on their enemies.

So, the [postal riders,] rode on mules & camels went out, being [hurried to continue] on, by the king's [command.] And the decree was given at the palace in Shushan, [a.k.a. Susa.]

And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal [garments] of fine linen of blue, [purple] & white & with a [large] crown of gold. And the city of Shushan rejoiced & was glad.

The Jews [were] light [hearted, with] gladness, joy & honor. And in every province & city, [wherever] the king's [command] & his decree came, the Jews had joy & gladness, a feast & a [holiday.] And many people of the land became Jews; for the fear [respect] of the Jews came upon them.

Esther 7:1-10 Esther Tells the King at the 2nd Banquet of Haman's Plot to Kill All Jews

Esther Tells the King at the 2nd Banquet of Haman's Plot to Kill All Jews

Esther 7:1-10           The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

So, king [Ahasuerus, a.k.a. Xerxes] & Haman came to queen [Esther's] banquet. At the banquet of wine on the 2nd day, the king said again to Esther, What is your petition, queen Esther? And it shall be granted [to] you & what is your request? And it shall be [carried out,] even to 1/2 of the kingdom.

Then, queen Esther answered & said, If I have found favor in your sight, O king & if it [pleases] the king, let my life be given [to] me, [as] my petition & my people at my request.

For we are sold, my people & I, to be destroyed, to be slain & to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen & bond women, I [would have] held my tongue, although the enemy couldn't [counteract] the king's damage.

[Esther 3:9-10 If it [pleases] the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed & I will pay 10,000 talents of silver [into] the hands of those [in] charge of [this] business, to bring it into the king's treasuries. And the king took his ring from his hand & gave it to Haman, [Hammedatha's] son, the Agagite, [who] is the Jew's enemy.]

Then, king Ahasuerus answered & said to queen Esther, Who is he & where is he, [who dares] presume in his heart to do [this?] And Esther said, The adversary & enemy is this wicked Haman.

Then Haman was afraid before the king & queen. The king [arose] from the banquet of wine, in his [fury] & went into the palace garden. And Haman stood up to make [a] request to queen Esther for his life. For he saw evil was determined against him by the king.

Then, the king returned [from] the palace garden & into the banquet of wine. And Haman was [found] fallen upon the [couch] where Esther was. Then, the king said, Will [Haman] force the queen also, [in front of] me in the [palace?]

As [this] word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face. And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains said [in front of the] king, [Look,] the 50 cubits high gallows, [that] Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, stands [at] the house of Haman.

Then, the king said, Hang him [on it.] So, they [hung] Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then, the kings [fury] was [calmed.]

Esther 6:1-14 The King Honors Mordecai Instead of Haman

The King Honors Mordecai Instead of Haman

Esther 6:1-14            The Book of Esther [in Smaller Chunks]

On that night, the king couldn't sleep & he commanded [them] to bring the [record] book of The Chronicles & they were read [in front of] the king.

It was found written, that Morrdecai had told of [the plan to seize] king Ahasuerus, [a.k.a. Xerxes, by] Bigthana & Teresh, 2 of the king's chamberlains, [who] were keepers of the door.

And the king said, What honor & dignity has been [shown] to Mordecai for this? Then, the king's servants, [who] ministered to him, said, Nothing [has been] done for him. And the king said, Who is in the [courtyard?]

Now, Haman [had] come into the outer [courtyard,] of the king's [palace,] to speak to the king [about hanging] Mordecai on the gallows that [Haman] had prepared for [Mordecai.]

And the king's servants said to [the king, Look,] Haman stands in the [courtyard.] And the king said, Let him come in. So, Haman came in. And the king said to [Haman,] What shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor?

Now, Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to honor more than myself?

And Haman answered the king, For the man whom the king delights to honor, Let the royal [garments] the king [wears] & the horse the king rides upon & the royal crown that [sits] upon his head, be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes.

[So,] that they may [clothe] the man, [with] whom the king delights to honor & bring him on horseback through the [streets] of the city & [announce] before him, [This] shall be done to the man, whom the king delights to honor.

Then, the king said to Haman, [Hurry] & take the [garments] & the horse, as you have said & do so to Mordecai, the Jew, who sits at the king's gate. [Don't] fail [to do anything] you have spoken.

Then, Haman took the [garments] & the horse & [clothed] Mordecai & brought him on horseback through the [streets] of the city. And [Haman announced in front of Mordecai, This] shall be done to the man, whom the king delights to honor. And Mordecai [returned] again to the king's gate.

But Haman [hurried] to his house mourning, having his head covered. And Haman told Zeresh, his wife & all his friends everything that had [happened to] him.

Then, his wise [friends] & Zeresh said to him, If Mordecai [is of the family] of the Jews, before whom you have begun to fall, you shall not prevail against him, but shall surely fall before him.

And while they were [still] talking with [Haman,] the king's chamberlains came, to [quickly] bring Haman to the banquet that [queen] Esther had prepared.
