About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Deuteronomy 12:1-32 The Israelites Are Told the Statutes & Judgments They Shall be Careful to Do

The Israelites Are Told the Statutes & JudgmentsThey Shall be Careful to Do

Deuteronomy 12:1-32      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

[Moses told the Israelites:] These are the [mandates] & judgments, that you shall be [careful] to do, all the days [of your life,] in the land [that] the Lord God of your [forefathers gives] you to possess.

You shall [totally] destroy all the places [that] the nations that you go in to possess served their gods: upon high mountains, upon the hills & under every green tree.

You shall [throw down] their altars, break their pillars & burn their groves with fire. You shall [cut] down the [carved] images of their gods & destroy the names of them out of that place.

You shall not do [like this] to the Lord your God. But you shall [only go] to the place [where] the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put His Name there. And [there] you shall come & you shall even seek His habitation.

You shall bring your burnt offering, sacrifices, tithes & heave offering [there, by] your hand & your [offerings for] your vows, freewill offerings & the [firstborn] of your herds & flocks [there.]

There you shall eat before the Lord your God. You & your households shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, [since] the Lord your God [has] blessed you.

You shall not do [whatever] seems right in [each person’s] eyes, [as you are doing] here this day. For you haven’t yet come to [the place to] rest & to the inheritance [that] the Lord your God gives you.

But when you go over [the] Jordan [River] & [live] in the land [that] the Lord your God [gives] you to inherit & when He gives you rest from all your enemies [around you,] so you [shall live] in safety.

Then, at the place [that] the Lord your God shall choose to [put] His Name to dwell [there,] you shall bring all I command you: your burnt offerings, sacrifices, tithes, heave offerings [by] your hand & all your [special offerings for your] vows to the Lord.

You & your sons, daughters, menservants & maidservants shall rejoice before the Lord & the Levites within your gates [who don’t have a portion] nor inheritance with you.

[Pay attention that] you don’t offer your burnt offerings in every place you [see,] but you shall [only] offer them in the place that the Lord your God shall choose in 1 of your tribes. There you shall  offer your burnt offerings & there you shall do all that I command you.

[Still] you may kill & eat [meat you want] in all your gates, according to the blessing of the Lord your God [that] He has given you. [Both] the clean & the unclean [people] may eat [it, like] you eat the [gazelle & the deer.]

Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour [the blood] on the [ground like] water.

Within your gates, you may not eat your tithe of your [grain,] wine, oil, & the [firstborn] of your herds & [flocks, the special offerings for your] vows, your [free will offerings,] or your heave offering [by] your hand.

But you, your son, daughter, manservant, maidservant & the Levite within your gates must eat them before the Lord your God in the place [that] the Lord your God shall choose.

You shall rejoice before the Lord your God in [everything] that you put your hand to. [Pay attention] to not [abandon] the Levite, as long as you live upon the earth.

When the Lord your God [enlarges] your border, as He has promised you & you say, I will eat [meat,] because I [long for it,] you may eat [meat, whatever you crave.]

If the place [that] the Lord your God [has] chosen to put His Name [is] too far from you, then you shall kill from your herd or flock [what] the Lord has [provided for] you, as I have commanded you. You may eat within your gates [whatever you crave.]

[Both] the clean & unclean [people] shall eat them alike, even the [gazelle & deer are] eaten. Only be sure that you don’t eat the blood: for the blood is [its] life & you [must] not eat the life with the [meat] & [must] pour it out on the [ground like] water.

You shall not eat it, [so things] go well [for] you & your [descendants] after you, when you shall do [what] is right in the sight of the Lord.

You shall only take the holy things you [have made with,] your vows & go to the place [that] the Lord shall choose & offer your burnt offerings, the [meat] & the blood upon the altar of the Lord your God. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the Lord your God & you shall eat the [meat.]

[Carefully listen & do] these words [that] I command you, [so] it may go well [for] you & your [descendants] forever, when you [do what] is good & right in the sight of the Lord your God.

When the Lord your God [cuts] off the nations before you, [where] you go to possess them & [take them over & live] in their land, [pay attention & be careful] that you [aren’t ensnared] by following them, after they’ve even destroyed before you. Ad [don’t ask about] their gods, saying, How do these nations serve their gods? So, I will do [like they do.]

You shall not [worship] the Lord your God [like this]: for they have done to their  gods, every abomination [that] the Lord hates. For they have [even] burnt their sons & daughters in the fire to their gods. [Carefully observe & do whatever] I command you. You shall not add [to or take away] from it.

Deuteronomy 11:1-32 Moses is Speaking to Those Who Have Seen the Lord’s Mighty Acts

Moses is Speaking to Those Who Have Seen the Lord’s Mighty Acts

Deuteronomy 11:1-32      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

Therefore, you shall love the Lord your God & [always obey] His [responsibilities,] His [mandates,] His [rules] & His Commandments.

Know this day, I [don’t] speak with your children, [because] they haven’t  known & their eyes haven’t seen the [discipline] of the Lord your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, His [outstretched] arm;

And His miracles, His acts [10 plagues] [that ] He did to Pharaoh, [Egypt’s] king & all [Pharaoh’s] land, in the midst of Egypt. What [the Lord God] did to the army of Egypt, their horses & chariots, [when] He made the water of the Red Sea overflow them as they pursued after you.

And how the Lord [has] destroyed them to this day & what He did to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place.

And what [God] did to Dathan & Abiram, the sons of Eliab, [Reuben’s] son & how the earth opened up [like a mouth] & swallowed them, their households, tents & all [their possessions] up, [where] all Israel [could see.]

[Numbers 16:12-14 And Mosses sent to call Dathan & Abiram, [Eliab’s] sons, [who] said, We won’t come up. Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land that flows with milk & honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except you [totally] make yourself a prince over us?

[Additionally,] you haven’t brought us into a land that flows with milk & honey, or given us [an] inheritance of fields & vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We won’t come up.]

Your eyes have seen all the great acts of the Lord & [what] He did. Therefore, you shall [obey] all [that] I [command] you this day, [so] you may be strong & go in & [take over] the land, [where] you go to possess it.

[So,] you may prolong your [life] in the land, [that] the Lord [swore] to your [forefathers] to give to them & to their [descendants.] A land that [flows] with milk & honey. The land, [where] you go in to posses it, isn’t [like] the land of Egypt, from [where] you came out,  where you [sowed] & watered seed [by] foot, [like] a garden of herbs.

But the land, you go to possess [has] hills, valleys & [drinks] water [from] the rain of heaven. A land [that] the Lord your God [cares] for [& His] eyes are always upon it, from the beginning to the end of the year.

It shall [happen,] if you shall diligently [pay attention to the commands I give you today,] to love the Lord your God & to serve Him will all your heart & all your soul, I will give you in [its appropriate] season, the 1st & latter rain in your land, [so] you may gather in your [grain,] wine & oil.

I will send grass for your [livestock] in the fields, so you may eat & be full. [Pay attention, so] your heart [isn’t] deceived & [you go astray] & serve other gods & worship them.

And then the Lord’s [anger will grow] against you & He [shuts] up the heaven, [so there’s] no rain & the land [doesn’t produce its] fruit & you perish quickly from the good land [that] the Lord [gives] you.

Therefore, you shall lay up these words in your heart & soul & bind them as [symbols] upon your [hands & foreheads,] between your eyes. And you shall teach them [to] your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the [road,] when you [lie] down & when you [rise] up.

You shall write them on the doorposts of your [houses] & upon your gates, [so] you & your children’s days may be multiplied, in the land [that] the Lord [swore] to give your [forefathers, like] the days of heaven upon the earth.

If you shall diligently keep the Commandments [& to do] all I [command] you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways & [hold tight] to Him; then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you & you shall possess greater & mightier nations than yourselves.

Every place the soles of your feet shall [walk] shall be yours. Your [coastal borders] shall be from the wilderness [to] Lebanon & [from] the Euphrates [River to] the [Mediterranean Sea.]

No man shall be able to stand before you there: for the Lord your God shall [put] the fear & dread of you upon all the land that you shall [walk] upon, as He [has] said to you. [See,] I [put] before you [today] a blessing & a curse.

A blessing, if you obey the Commandments of the Lord your God, [that] I command you this day. A curse, if you won’t obey the Commandments of the. Lord your God [that] I gave you this day, but [go astray] after other gods, [that] you haven’t known.

It [shall happen,] when the Lord your God has brought you into the land [where] you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing upon Mount Gerizim & the curse upon Mount Ebal.

Aren’t they on the other side [of] the Jordan [River] by the [sunset,] in the land of Canaanites, [who] dwell in plains [opposite to] Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

For you shall pass over [the] Jordan [River] to go in & possess & [live] in the land [that] the Lord God [gives] you. You shall [pay attention] to do all the [mandates] & judgments [that] I [put] before you this day.

Deuteronomy 10:1-22 God Gave Moses 2 New Tablets with the 10 Commandments

God Gave Moses 2 New Tablets with the 10 Commandments

Deuteronomy 10:1-22      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

At that time, the Lord said to me, [Cut out for] you 2 [tablets] of stone like the 1st [ones] & come up to Me in Mount [Hore a.k.a. Sinai] & make an ark of wood. I will write on the [tablets] the words that were on the 1st [tablets that] you broke & you shall put them in the ark.

I made an ark of shittim wood & [cut] 2 [tablets] of stone like the 1st & I went up into the [mountain with] the 2 [tablets in my [hands.]

[The Lord God] wrote the 10 Commandments on the [tablets,] according to the 1st writing, [when] the Lord [spoke] to you in the [mountain] out of the midst of the fire [on] the day of the assembly.

The Lord gave them to me. I turned & came down from the [mountain] & put the [tablets] in the ark [that] I had made. They [are] there, as the Lord commanded me.

The children [people] of Israel [journeyed] from Beer Roth of the children [people] of Jaakan to Mosera. There Aaron died & he was buried there. Eleazar, his son, [served] in the [high] priest’s [position in Aaron’s] place.

From [there] they journey to Gudgodah & [from there] to Jot Bath, a land of rivers of water. At that time, the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to [carry] the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord & to stand before the Lord to minister to Him & to bless His Name to this day.

[Therefore, the tribe of] Levi [had] no [portion] nor inheritance with his brethren. The Lord is His inheritance, as the Lord your God promised him. I stayed in the [mountain like] the 1st time, 40 days & 40 nights & the Lord [listened] to me, at that time also & the Lord wouldn’t destroy you.

The Lord said to me, Arise & take your journey [in front of] the people, [so] they may go in & possess the land, [that] I [swore] to their [forefathers] to give to them. Now, Israel, what [does] the Lord your God require of you, but to fear [respect] the Lord your God;

[And to] walk in all His ways & to love Him & to serve the Lord your God with all your heart & with all your soul; to keep the commandments of the Lord & His [mandates, that] I command you this day for your good?

[Look,] the heaven & the [highest heavens belong to the Lord] your God & also, the earth & all [that’s in it.] The Lord only [delighted] in your [forefathers] & [loved] them & He chose you, [their descendants] after them, as it is [today.]

Therefore, circumcise the foreskin of your [hearts] & [no longer be] stiff-necked [stubborn people.] For the Lord your God is God of gods & Lord of lords, a great God, mighty & terrible [awesome, Who doesn’t show partiality to people] nor take [bribes.]

[The Lord God] does [carry out justice for] the fatherless & widow. [He loves] the stranger, [by] giving him food & [clothing.] Therefore, love the stranger, [because] you were [once] strangers in the land of Egypt.

You shall fear [respect] the Lord your God. You shall serve Him & you shall [hold tight] to Him & swear [oaths] by His Name.

Your [forefathers] went down into Egypt with 70 [people.] Now the Lord your God [has] made you [like] the stars of heaven [in] multitude.

Deuteronomy 9:1-29 Don’t Think You’re Possessing this Land because of Your Size or Might

Don’t Think You’re Possessing this Land because of Your Size or Might

Deuteronomy 9:1-29      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

O Israel, hear: You [are] to pass over [the] Jordan [River today,] to go in & possess nations [larger] & mightier than [you.] [Large] cities with fenced [& fortified] up to heaven.

The children [people] of the Anakims, [many] & tall people, whom you know & of whom you know & [have] heard [it said,] Who can stand before the children [people] of Anak!

Therefore, understand [today,] that it is the Lord your God [Who] goes over before you. [Like] a consuming fire, He shall destroy them. He shall bring them down before your [eyes.] So, you shall drive them out & destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.

[Don’t think] in your heart, after the Lord your God has cast them out before you, saying, [Because of] my righteousness, the Lord has brought me in to possess this land. [It’s because] of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord [drives] them out from before you.

[It’s not because of] your righteousness or [how upright your hearts are that] you go in to possess their land, but the Lord your God is [driving] them out, [because of] the wickedness of these nations, [so] that He may [fulfill] the Word [that] the Lord [swore] to your [forefathers:] Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob [a.k.a. Israel.]

Therefore, understand that the Lord your God [doesn’t give] you this good land to possess it, for your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked [stubborn] people.

Remember & don’t forget how you [provoked] the Lord your God to [anger] in the wilderness. From the day you [left] the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord. Also, in Horeb, [a.k.a. Mount Sinai,] you provoked the Lord to [fury,] that the Lord was angry with you to have destroyed you. [Psalm 106:19 They made a calf in Horeb & worshiped the [molded] image.]

When I [had] gone up into the [mountain] to receive the [tablets] of stone, of the covenant [contract] the Lord made with you & then I [stayed] in the [mountain] 40 days & nights & I ate neither bread nor [drank] water.

The Lord delivered to me 2 [tablets] of stone written with the finger of God. On them was written according to all the words, [that] the Lord [spoke] with you in the [mountain] out of the midst of the fire [on] the day of the assembly.

At the end of 40 days & nights, the Lord gave me the 2 [tablets] of stone of the covenant & the Lord said to me, Arise & [go] down quickly from here, [because] your people [that] you brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves & [have gone astray from what] I commanded them & have made [themselves] a [molded] image.

[Also,] the Lord [said] to me, I have seen [these] people & [look it’s] a stiff-necked [stubborn] people. [Leave] me alone, [so] I may destroy them & blot out their name from under heaven.

And I will make [for] you a nation mightier and greater than they [are.] So, I turned & came down from the [mountain that] burned with fire [with] the 2 [tablets] of the covenant in my hands.

I looked & [saw you] had sinned against the Lord your God & [you] had made [yourselves] a [molded golden] calf.  You quickly [turned astray from the way] the Lord had commanded you.

I took the 2 [tablets & threw] them out of my hands & [broke] them before your eyes. I fell down before the Lord, [like] I did at the [beginning] of the 40 days & nights. I didn’t eat bread or drink water, because of all your sins which you [did,] in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

For I was afraid of the anger & hot displeasure [of] the [Lord’s fury] & hot displeasure, [with which] the Lord was [angry] against you to destroy you. But the Lord also [listened] to me, at that time. The Lord was very angry with Aaron, to [destroy] him & I also prayed for Aaron, [at] the same time.

I took your [sins] & the calf [that] you made & burnt it with fire. I [stomped on] it & ground it very small [like] dust & cast it into the brook that [came down from the mountain.] [Also,] at Taberah, at Massah, at Kibroth Hattaavah, [you] provoked the Lord to [anger.]

[Numbers 11:3-5 And [Moses] called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the Lord burnt among them. And the [mixed] multitude that was among them & the children [people] of Israel, fell [lusting] & wept again, saying, Who shall give us [meat] to eat??

We remember the fish in Egypt, we [ate] freely, the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions &. [garlic.] But. now our souls [are] dried [up] & there is nothing at all, [besides] this manna, before our eyes.]

Likewise, when the Lord sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, Go up & possess the land [that] I have [given to] you; then you rebelled against the [command] of the Lord your God & you didn't believe Him, nor listen to His voice.

You have been rebellious against the Lord from the [first] day that I knew you. [That’s why] I fell down before the Lord 40 days & nights, [like] I fell down [the first time]; because the Lord said He would destroy you.

Therefore, I prayed to the Lord & said, O Lord [don’t] destroy Your people & Your inheritance, [that] You have redeemed through Your greatness, [when] You brought them [out] of Egypt with a mighty hand. Remember Your servants: Abraham, Isaac & Jacob.

[Don’t] look [at] the stubbornness, the wickedness, [or] the sin of this people: Lest the land [Egypt, where] You brought us out [says,] The Lord wasn’t able to bring them into the land He promised them, because He hated them & brought them into the wilderness to [kill] them.

[Still] they are Your people & Your inheritance [that] you brought out by Your mighty power & Your [outstretched] arm.

Deuteronomy 8:1-20 40 Years: Your Clothes Didn’t Wear Out & Your Feet Didn’t Swell

40 Years: Your Clothes Didn’t Wear Out & Your Feet Didn’t Swell

Deuteronomy 8:1-20      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

You shall [be careful to] do all the commandments [that] I command you this day, [so] that you may live & multiply & go in & possess the land [that] the Lord [swore] to your [forefathers].

You shall remember the Lord your God led you all the way these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble you & [test] you. To know what is in your hearts & whether you would keep the commandments or [not].

He humbled you & [allowed] you to [be hungry] & He fed you with manna, [that you hadn’t known], [so] He might make you know that man doesn’t live by bread [alone], but man lives by every word that [comes from] the mouth of the Lord.

Your [clothing] didn’t [grow] old upon you, neither did your [feet] swell, these 40 years. Also, you shall consider in your heart, that [like a man who corrects] his son, the Lord your God [corrected] you.

Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways & to fear [respect] Him. For the Lord your God [brings] you into a good land, with brooks of water, of fountains & [deep] springs [in the] valleys & hills.

A land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil & honey. A land [where] you can eat bread without [it being scarce]. You shall not lack anything in it. A land whose stones are iron & out of [its] hills you [may] dig brass.

When you have eaten & are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land [that] He [has] given you. Beware, [so you don’t] forget the Lord your God, [by] not keeping His commandments, His judgments & His statutes, [that] I command you [today].

Lest when you [have] eaten & [are] full & [you’ve] built [big, impressive] houses & [live in them] & when your herds & flocks multiply & your silver & gold [are] multiplied & your heart [is] lifted up & you forget the Lord your God, [who] brought you out of bondage in the land of Egypt.

[The Lord God who] led you through the great & terrible wilderness [with] fiery serpents, scorpions & drought, where there was no water. [The Lord who] brought you water out of the rock of flint & who fed you in the wilderness with manna, [that your forefathers didn’t] know.

[So], that He might [test] you & to do you good [in] the end. And [instead] you say in your heart, My power & the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.

But you shall remember the Lord your God: for it is He [who gives] you power to get wealth, [so] He may establish His covenant [contract] [that] He [swore] to your [forefathers], as it is this day.

If you [do] forget the Lord your God, at all & walk after other gods & serve them & worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish. [Like] the nations the Lord [destroyed right] before your face, so shall you perish: because you weren’t obedient to the voice of the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 7:1-26 The Lord Your God will Deliver the 7 Mighty Nations Over to You

The Lord Your God will Deliver the 7 Mighty Nations Over to You

Deuteronomy 7:1-26      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

When the Lord your God brings you into the land [where you go] to possess it, & [He] has cast out many nations before you: the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites & the Jebusites, 7 nations greater & mightier than you.

And when. the Lord your God [delivers] them before you & you shall [attack] them & [totally] destroy them. You [shall not] make [any] covenant [contract] with them; nor show any mercy to them.

Neither shall you make marriages with them. You [shall] not give your daughter to his son, nor shall you take his daughter [for] your son. For they will [lead] your son [astray] from following Me, [so] that they serve other gods. [Then] the anger of the Lord [will grow]  against you & destroy you suddenly.

But [this is how] you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, break down their images, cut down their groves & burn their [carved] images with fire. For you are a holy people unto the Lord your God.

The Lord your God has chosen you to be a special people [for] Himself, above all people on the face of the earth. The Lord [didn’t put] His love upon you or choose you, because you were more in number than any [other] people: for [there were less of you than] all people.

[He. Did it,] because the Lord loved you & [so] He would keep the oath He had sworn to your [forefathers.] [That’s why] the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand & redeemed you out of the house of the house of [slavery] & from the hand of Pharaoh, [Egypt’s] king.

[Exodus 3:7 And the Lord. Said, I have surely seen the affliction of My people [who] are in Egypt. And I have heard their [outcry, because] of their task masters; for I know their sorrows.]

Therefore, know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, [Who keeps] covenant [contract] & [has] mercy [to those who] love Him & keep His commandments to 1,000 generations.

[He] repays [those who] hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be [slow] to repay [those who] hate Him & He will repay them to [their] face. Therefore, you shall keep the commandments, [mandates] & judgments, [that] I command you this day & do them.

If you [listen] to these judgments & keep & do them, the Lord your God shall keep [with] you, the covenant [contract] & the mercy He [swore] to your [forefathers] & He will love you & bless you & multiply you.

[The Lord God] will also bless you [with many children] & the fruit of your land, your [grain,] your wine, your oil, & the increase of your [herds] & flocks. Of sheep, in the land [that] He swore to your [forefathers] to give you.

You shall be blessed above all people. There shall not be [any] males or females [childless] among you, or your [livestock.] The Lord will take all sickness from you & won’t put [any of the terrible] diseases of Egypt, [that you know of,] on you; but will [put those diseases on all those who] hate you.

You shall [destroy] all the people [that] the Lord your God shall deliver [to] you. Your eye shall have no pity on them. Neither shall you serve their gods; for that will be a snare [trap for] you.

If you shall say in your heart, These nations are more [numerous that we are.] How can [we drive them out]? [Don’t] be afraid of them, but remember what the Lord your God did to the Pharaoh & to all [of] Egypt.

[You] saw with your own eyes, the great [trials,] signs & wonders, & the mighty hand & [outstretched] arm [of] the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out [of Egypt.] The Lord your God shall do [the same to] all the people of whom you are afraid.

[Additionally,] the Lord your God will send the hornet among them, until [those who are left] will hide themselves from you & be destroyed. You shall not be [frightened] of them: for the Lord your God is among you, a mighty & [awesome God.]

The Lord your God will put these nations out before you little by little, [so] you [don’t destroy] them at once, lest the [animals] of the field increase [& overtake it.] But the Lord your God shall deliver [the nations] to you & shall [totally] [destroy] them [mightily.]

[The Lord God] shall deliver their kings into your hand & you shall [make their names perish] from under heaven. No man shall be able to stand before you, until you have destroyed them [all.]

You shall burn with fire their [carved] images of their gods. You shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it [for yourself,] lest you [are entrapped] by it: for it is an abomination to the Lord your God.

Neither shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you [are] cursed like it. You shall [totally] detest & [loathe] it; for it is a cursed thing.
