About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Hosea 11:1-12 My People are Bent on Backsliding From Me

My People are Bent on Backsliding From Me

Hosea 11:1-12                      The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks]

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, & called My Son out of Egypt. [Matthew 2:14-15 When he arose, he took the young Child, & His mother [at] night, & departed into Egypt.

* And was there until the death of Herod: [so] that it might be fulfilled, [what] was spoken [about] the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt I have called My Son.]

[Like] they called them, they [also] went from them, & they sacrificed to Baalim, [a.k.a. Baal,] & burned incense to [carved] images. I also taught Ephraim to [walk,] taking them by their [hands,] but they didn't know that I healed them.

[Exodus 15:26 And said, If you will diligently [pay attention] to the voice of the Lord your God, & will do [what] is right in His sight, & will [listen] to His commandments, & keep His [mandates,] I will [not] put [any] of these disease upon you, [that] I have brought upon the Egyptians. For I Am the Lord, [Who] heals you.]

I [pulled] them [out] with cords [for] a man & bands of love. And I was to them [like those, who remove] the yoke [from] their jaws. [Leviticus 26:13 I Am the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt, [so] that you [wouldn't] be their [slaves.] And I have broken the bands of your yoke, & made you [walk] upright.]

And I [gave] meat to them. [Psalm 105:40 The [Israelite] people asked, & He brought quail, & satisfied them with the bread of heaven, [a.k.a. manna.]

He, [a.k.a. Israel,] shouldn't return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return [to the Lord their God.] And the sword shall [remain in] his cities, & consume his branches, [a.k.a. descendants,] & devour them, because of their own [advice.]

[Ezekiel 28:6-7 Therefore, the Lord God says [this;] Because you have set your heart [like] the heart of God, therefore, [watch,] I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations. And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom & they shall defile your brightness, [a.k.a. intelligence.]

And My people are [focused on] backsliding from Me. [Although] they [were] called to the Most High, none at all would exalt Him. [Jeremiah 3:6-7 The Lord also said to me [during] the days of king Josiah, [Have] you seen [what] backsliding Israel has done?

She [has] gone up upon every high mountain, & under every green tree, & has played the [unfaithful] harlot there. And after she had done all these things, I said, You, [return] [back] to Me. But she [didn't return.] And her treacherous sister, Judah, saw it.]

How shall I give up [on] you, Ephraim? How shall I deliver you, Israel? How shall I make you [like] Admah? How shall I [put] you [like] Zeboim? [Deuteronomy 29:22-26 So, that the generation of your children to come, that shall rise up after you, & the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land & the sicknesses which the Lord has laid upon it.

And the whole land [of it] is brimstone, salt, & burning, that isn't sown, nor [produces,] nor [does] any grass grow [in it.] Like the overthrow of Sodom; Gomorrah; Admah; & Zeboim; [that] the Lord overthrew in His anger & in His [fury.]

Even all nations shall say, [Why] has the Lord done [like this,] to this land? What [does] the heat of this great anger mean?

Then, men shall say, Because they have [abandoned] the covenant [contract] of the Lord God of their [forefathers,] which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt. For they went & served other gods, & worshiped gods, [that] they [didn't know,] & whom He hadn't given to them.]

[My] heart is [moved] within Me & My [sense of loss grows.] I won't [carry out] the fierceness of [My] anger & I won't return to destroy Ephraim. For I Am God, & not [a] man; the Holy One in the midst of you. And I won't enter into the city.

[Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie. Neither the Son of Man, that He should repent. Has He said, & [won't] He not do it? Or has He spoken, & shall He not make it [happen?]

They shall [follow] after the Lord. He shall roar like a lion & when He [roars,] then, the children [people] shall tremble from the West. They shall tremble [like] a bird out of Egypt, & [like] a dove out of the land of Assyria. And I will place them in their houses, says the Lord.

[Ezekiel 28:25-26 The Lord God says [this;] When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, & [I] shall be sanctified in them, in the sight of the heathen, then they shall dwell in their land that I have given to My servant Jacob, [a.k.a Israel.]

And they shall dwell safely [there,] & shall build houses & plant vineyards. [Yes,] they shall dwell with confidence, when I have [carried out justice] upon all those, [who] despise them [all around] them. And they shall know that I Am the Lord their God.]

Ephraim [surrounds] Me: with lies, & the house of Israel with deceit. But [still] Judah rules with God, & is faithful with the saints. [Revelation 14:12-13 Here is the patience of the saints: Here are [those, who] keep [God's] commandments, & faith [in] Jesus.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead, [who] die in the Lord from [now on.] [Yes,] says the Spirit, [so] that they may rest from their labors & their works, [a.k.a. deeds,] follow them.]

Hosea 10:1-15 Israel is an Empty Vine

Israel is an Empty Vine

Hosea 10:1-15             The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks]

Israel is an empty vine & he [produces] fruit [only for] himself. He has increased the altars, according to the multitude of his fruit. And according to the goodness of his land, they have made [attractive] images.

[Jeremiah 11:13 For: O Judah, your gods were, according to the number of your cities. And you have [put] up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal, according to the number of [Jerusalem's] streets.]

Their heart is divided. [Mark 7:6-7 *He answered & said to them, [Isaiah] has prophesied well of you hypocrites, [like] it is written, This people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. [However,] they worship Me in vain, teaching [like] doctrines, the commandments of men.

Now, they shall be found [guilty.] He shall break down their altars & He shall spoil their images. [Exodus 23:24-25 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do, [according to] their works.

But you shall [totally] overthrow them, & [completely] break down their images. And you shall serve the Lord your God, & He will bless your bread, & your waters. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.]

For they shall now say, We have no king, because we [didn't] fear [respect] the Lord. Then, what should a king do to us? In making a covenant [contract,] they have spoken words, swearing falsely.

[Like this,] judgment [sprouts up] [like poisonous] hemlock in the [rows.] The [residents] of Samaria, shall [be] [fearful,] because the calves of Beth Aven, [a.k.a. Beth El, have] departed from it. For the people [there] shall mourn over it & the priests, [who] rejoiced [about] it; for [its] glory.

[1 Kings 12:27-30 This people go up to sacrifice in the [Lord's] house [in] Jerusalem, then the heart of this people shall [return] to their lord, even to Rehoboam, [Judah's] king, & they shall kill me, & go again to Rehoboam, [Judah's] king.

[Upon which,] king [Jeroboam] [got advice] & made 2 calves of gold, & said to them, It's too much for you to go up to Jerusalem, [to sacrifice.] [See,] your gods, O Israel, [that] brought you up, out of the land of Egypt.

And he [put] 1 in Beth El, & he put the other in Dan. And this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the 1, even to Dan.]

It shall also be carried to Assyria for a present to king Jareb. Ephraim shall receive shame, & Israel shall be ashamed of his own [advice.] [Hosea 5:11-12 Ephraim is oppressed & [is] [without] judgment, because he willing [followed] after [their] [own] commandment. Therefore, I will be [like] a moth to Ephraim, & [like rot] to the house of Judah.]

As for Samaria, her king is cut off [like] [a broken twig on] the foam upon the water. Also, the high places of Aven, [a.k.a. Beth Aven, or Beth El,] & the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. The thorn & the thistle shall [grow] up on their altars. And they shall say to the mountains, Cover us, & to the hills, Fall on us.

[Revelation 6:16-17 And [they] said to the mountains & rocks, Fall on us, & hide us from the face of Him, [Who] sits on the throne, & from the [anger] of the Lamb. For the great day of His wrath [has] come. And who shall be able to [endure?]

O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood & the battle in Gibeah against the children [people] of [wickedness,] didn't overtake them.  [Judges 20:5-6 And the men of Gibeah rose [up] against me, & [surrounded] the house & [came] upon me by night & thought to [kill] me.

And they have forced my [mistress] & she is dead. And I took my [mistress] & cut her in pieces, & sent her throughout the country of [Israel's] inheritance. For they have committed [what is] [lewd & foolish] in Israel.]

It is My desire that I should chastise them & the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall [tie] themselves in 2 rows [like] their [wheat.] And Ephraim is [like a] heifer, that [is trained] & loves to [trample out] the corn.

But I  passed [a harness] over her [well-favored] neck: & I will make Ephraim [able] to [be] [ridden.] Judah shall plow, & Jacob shall break [up] his [dirt] clods. Sow to yourselves, [what is:] [righteous] & [harvest] mercy.

[Plow] your [untilled] ground: for it's time to seek the Lord, [until] He [comes] & [rains] [down] righteousness upon you. You have plowed [what is:] [wicked] & you have [harvested] [what is:] [sinful.] [Job 4:8 Even [like] I have seen, [those, who] plow iniquity, & sow wickedness, reap, [a.k.a. harvest,] the same.]

You have eaten the fruit [produced from] lies, because you [trusted] in your ways. [Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked [abandon] his [ways,] & the unrighteous man [abandon] his thoughts. And let him return to the Lord & to our God. And He will have mercy upon him: for He will pardon abundantly.]

And [you trusted] in the multitude of your mighty men. [Isaiah 31:1 Woe to [those, who] go down to Egypt for help, & [rely] on horses, & trust in chariots, because they are many; & in horsemen, because they are very strong. But they [don't] look to the Holy One of Israel, & neither do they seek the Lord!]

Therefore, [turbulence] shall arise among your people, & all your fortresses shall be [plundered, like] Shalman [plundered] Beth Arbel [on] the day of battle & the mother was dashed to piece upon her children.

[Nahum 3:10 Still, she was carried away & she went into captivity. Her young children were also dashed in pieces at the top of all the streets. And they cast lots for her honorable men, & all her [important] men were bound in chains.]

So shall Beth El, [a.k.a. Beth Aven,] do to you, because of your great wickedness. In [the] morning, the king of Israel shall be [totally] cut off.

Hosea 9:1-17 They Have Deeply Corrupted Themselves

They Have Deeply Corrupted Themselves

Hosea 9:1-17                              The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks]

O Israel, [don't] rejoice for joy, [like] other people. For you have gone [unfaithfully like a harlot] from your God. You [have] loved a reward, [a.k.a. a harlot's payment] on every corn floor.

[Hosea 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall [be fearful,] because of the [gold] calves of Beth Aven. For the people [there] shall mourn over it, & [its] priests, [who] rejoiced [about] it, for [its] glory. Because [its glory has] departed from it.]

The [threshing] floor & the wine press, shall not feed them. And the new wine shall fail in [Israel.] They shall not dwell in the Lord's land. But Ephraim shall return to Egypt, & they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

[Ezekiel 4:14 I then said, Ah, Lord God: [See,] my soul hasn't been [defiled.] from my youth up, even [until] now, I haven't eaten [what] dies of itself, or is torn in pieces. Neither has abominable flesh [entered] into my mouth.]

They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord, neither shall they be pleasing to Him. Their sacrifices shall be to them, [like] the bread of mourners. All, [who] eat [of it] shall be [defiled.] For the bread for their [souls] shall not come into the [Lord's] house.

[Leviticus 17:11-12 For the life of the flesh is in the blood. And I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for the soul. Therefore, I said to the children [people] of Israel, No, [person] of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that [temporarily stays] among you, eat [meat with the] blood.]

What will you do [on] the solemn day, & on the feast day of the Lord? For, [look] [if] [they] are gone, because of [the] destruction, Egypt shall gather them up, & Memphis shall bury them.

The pleasant places for their silver, in their tents, shall [now] be [possessed] by [sticker bushes] & thorns. The days of visitation, [a.k.a. punishment, have] come & Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool & the spiritual man is [insane because of] the multitude of your: [sins] & great hatred.

[Jeremiah 23:25-27 I have heard what the prophets said, [who] prophesy lies in My Name, saying, I have dreamed. I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets, [who] prophesy lies?

[Yes,] they are prophets of the deceit [in] their own heart. [Those,] [who] think to cause My people to forget My Name, by their dreams [that] every man [tells] to his neighbor. Their fathers have forgotten My Name, [instead] for Baal.]

The watchman, [a.k.a guard] of Ephraim was with my God. [Ezekiel 33:7 O son of man, I have [put] you [like a] watchman, [for] the house of Israel. Therefore, you shall hear the [Words] at My mouth, & warn them [for] Me.]

But in all his ways, the prophet is [like] a snare for a [bird trapper,] & [causes] hatred in the house of his God. [The prophets] have deeply corrupted themselves, [like during] the days of Gibeah. Therefore, He will remember their [sinfulness] & He will visit, [a.k.a. punish] their sins.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your [forefathers like] the first ripe [fruit] in the fig tree, [in its] 1st [season.] But they went to Baal Peor & separated themselves to [to do what is] [shameful] & their abominations were  according [to] as [many as] they loved.

[Jeremiah 11:10-13 They [have] turned back to the [sins] of their forefathers, [who] refused to hear My Words. And they went after other gods to serve them. The [houses] of: Israel & Judah have broken My covenant [contract, that] I made with their fathers.

Therefore, the Lord says [this, Look,] I will bring [calamity] upon them, [that] they shall not be able to escape. And [although] they shall cry [out] to Me, I will not [pay attention] to them. Then, the cities of Judah & the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall go & cry [out] to the gods, to whom they offer incense.

But they shall not save them at all [on their] day of trouble. Your gods were: according to the number of your cities, O Judah, & you have [put] up altars, according to the number of [Jerusalem's] streets, to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.]

As for Ephraim, from conception, & birth from the womb, their glory shall fly away like a bird. [Although] they bring up their children, [still] I will [deprive them] [of loved ones,] [so] that there shall not be a man left. [Yes,] also [distress] to [those,] when I depart from them!

Ephraim, [like] I saw Tyrus, [a.k.a. Tyre,] is [also] planted in a pleasant place. But Ephraim shall [deliver] his children to the murderer. [Psalm 106:34-38 They didn't destroy the nations, [about] whom the Lord commanded them; but were [mixed] among the heathen, & learned their works.

And they served their idols: which were a snare to them. [Yes,] they sacrificed their sons & daughters to [demons.] And shed [the] blood [of the] innocent, even the blood of their sons & daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was [defiled] with [bloodshed.]

O Lord, give [to] them…what will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb & dry breasts. [Luke 23:29 For, [watch,] the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, & the wombs that never [bore,] & the [breasts that] never [nursed.]

All their wickedness is in Gilgal, for [that's where] I hated them. [Because of] the wickedness of their [actions,] I will drive them out [from My] house. I will no [longer] love them. All their princes are revolters. [Isaiah 1:21-23 How the faithful city [has] become [a] harlot.

It was full of [justice] & righteousness [stayed] in it; but now murderers. Your silver [has] become [scum] & your wine is mixed with water. Your princes are rebellious, & companions of thieves. Everyone loves gifts, [a.k.a. bribes,] & follows after rewards. They [don't] judge the fatherless, & neither [does] the [case] of the widow come to them.]

Ephraim is [struck] & their root is dried up. They shall [deliver] no fruit, [a.k.a. offspring.] [Yes,] though they [deliver,] I will [still] slay, even the beloved fruit of their womb.

[Mark 7:6-7 *He answered & said to them, [Isaiah] has prophesied well of you hypocrites, [like] it is written, This people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. [However] they worship Me in vain, teaching [like] doctrines, the commandments of men.]

My God will cast them away, because they didn't [pay attention] to Him. And they shall be wanderers among the nations.

Hosea 8:1-14 About Those Who Worship the Calf Idol in Samaria

About Those Who Worship the Calf Idol in Samaria

Hosea 8:1-14                               The Book of Hosea [in Smaller Chunks]

[Put] the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come [like] an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have [sinned] [against] My covenant [contract] & have [sinned] against My Law.

[Deuteronomy 28:49-51 The Lord shall bring a nation against you from far [away,] from the [ends] of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies. A nation whose [language] you shall not understand. A nation of fierce [looking faces, who] don't regard, [a.k.a. respect] the [elderly,] nor [show] favor to the young.

And he shall eat the fruit, [a.k.a. offspring,] of your [livestock,] & the fruit [produced by] your land, until you [are] destroyed. Also, [who] shall not leave you either: [grain;] wine; oil, or the increase of your [cattle,] or your flocks of your sheep, until he [has] destroyed you.]

Israel shall cry [out] to Me, My God, we know you. [Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but they deny Him [by] abominable works, [a.k.a. deeds,] & being disobedient, & [morally corrupt toward] every good work.]

Israel shas cast off the thing that is good & the enemy shall pursue him. [Romans 12:2 And [don't conform, a.k.a. act according to,] this world: but you be transformed, [a.k.a. changed,] by the renewing of your mind, [so] that you may prove what is that: good, acceptable, & perfect will of God.]

They have [established] kings, but not by Me. They have made princes, & I [didn't] know it. They have made [themselves] idols [from] their silver & gold, [so] that they may be cut off.

[1 Kings 12:27-30 If this people go up to sacrifice in the [Lord's] house [in] Jerusalem, then the heart of this people shall [return] again to their lord, even to Rehoboam, [Judah's] king. And they shall kill me, & go again to Rehoboam, [Judah's] king.

[Upon which,] king [Jeroboam] [got advice] & made 2 calves of gold, & said to them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem, [to sacrifice.] [See,] your gods, O Israel, [that] brought you up, out of the land of Egypt. And he [put] 1 in Beth El, [a.k.a. Beth Aven,] & he put the other in Dan. And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the 1, even to Dan.]

O Samaria, your calf has cast you off. [My] anger has [grown] against them. How long will it be [until] they attain [innocence, a.k.a. purity]? For it was from Israel & also the workman made it. Therefore, it is not God. But the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.

For they have sown [what is nothing, only] wind & they shall reap, [a.k.a. harvest,] the whirlwind. It has no stalk, & [its] bud [doesn't produce flour.] If it [did produce,] the strangers [would] swallow it up. [Job 4:8 Even [like] I have seen, [those who] plow [what is] [sinful,] & sow wickedness, reap the same.]

Israel is swallowed up & now they shall be among the Gentiles, [like] a vessel [in which there] is no pleasure. [Jeremiah 22:28 Is this man, Coniah, [a.k.a Jeconiah,] a despised broken idol? Is he a vessel [in which] is no pleasure? [For this reason] they are cast out, he & his seed, [a.k.a offspring,] are cast into a land [that] they don't know?]

For they [have] gone up to Assyria, [like] a wild [mule,] alone by himself. Ephraim has hired lovers. [Jeremiah 16:10-11 And it shall [happen,] when you shall [declare] all these Words [to these] people, & they shall say to you, [For what reason has] the Lord pronounced all this great [disaster] against us? Or what is our iniquity?

Or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? Then, you shall say to them, Because your [forefathers] have [abandoned] Me, says the Lord, & have [followed] after other gods, & have served them, & worshiped them. And [they] have [abandoned] Me & haven't kept My Law.]

[Yes, although] they have hired among the nations, I will now gather them & they shall [be sorrowful] a little, for the burden of the king of princes. [2 Kings 17:3-4 Shalmaneser, [Assyria's] king, came up against [Ahaz] & Hoshea, [a.k.a. Hosea,] became his servant & gave him presents, [a.k.a tribute money or taxes.]

And the king of Assyria, found conspiracy in [Hosea: because] he had sent messengers to So, [Egypt's] king, & no [longer] brought [presents] to [Assyria's] king, [like] he had done year by year. Therefore, [Assyria's] king, shut [Hosea] up & [chained] him in prison.]

Because Ephraim has made many altars [for] sin, altars shall be [sinful] to him. [Psalm 106:36-39 And they served their idols; [that] were a snare to them. [Yes,] they sacrificed their sons & daughters to [demons.] And shed [the] blood [of the] innocent, even the blood of their sons & daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. And the land was [defiled] with [bloodshed.]

I have written the great things [about] My Law to him, but they were [considered like] a strange thing. They sacrifice [meat] for the sacrifices of [My] offerings, & eat it. But the Lord [doesn't] accept them. He will now remember their [sinfulness,] & visit, [a.k.a. punish,] their sins & they shall return to Egypt.

[Deuteronomy 28:68 And the Lord shall bring you into Egypt again, [by] ships, & by the way [of which] I [said] to you, You shall no [longer] see it again. And you shall be sold there to your enemies for [male & female slaves,] but no man shall buy you.]

For Israel has forgotten his Maker, & [builds] temples, & Judah has multiplied fenced cities. But I will send a fire upon his cities, & it shall devour [its] palaces.

[Jeremiah 2:28 But where are your gods that you [have] made [yourselves?] For according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah. Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble.]
