About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Jeremiah 27:1-22 God Says, Don't Listen to the Prophets Who Lie

God Says, Don't Listen to the Prophets Who Lie

Jeremiah 27:1-22                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

In the beginning of the [rule] of Jehoiakim, [Josiah's] son, [Judah's] king, this Word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, The Lord [said this,] to me; Make [yourself] bonds & yokes, [a.k.a. chains & stocks] & put them upon your neck. [Jeremiah 28:10 Then, Hananiah, the prophet, took the [stocks] from off [Jeremiah, the prophet's] neck & [broke] it.]

And [He] sent them to the [kings of:] Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, Tyrus, [a.k.a. Tyre,] & Zidon, [a.k.a. Sidon,] by the [messengers' hands, who came] to Zedekiah, [Judah's] king, [in] Jerusalem.

Command them to say to their masters, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this;] You shall say [this] to your masters; I have made the earth & man & the [animals] that are upon the ground, by My great power & by My outstretched arm & have given it to whom it seemed [appropriate] to Me.

And now, I have given all these lands & I have also given him, the [animals] of the field into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king, My servant, to serve him. And all nations shall serve [Nebuchadnezzar] & his son & his son's son, until the [exact] time his [own] land [comes.]

And then, many nations & great kings, shall [make] him serve [them.]

[2 Chronicles 36:20 And [those who] escaped from the sword, [that] he carried away to Babylon; where they were servants to him & his sons until the [rule] of the kingdom of Persia.]

The Lord says, And it shall [happen,] that the nation & kingdom [that] won't serve Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king & won't put their neck under the yoke, [a.k.a. oppression] of [Babylon's] king & I will punish that nation with: sword, famine & pestilence, until I have [destroyed] them, by his hand.

Therefore, [don't pay attention] to your: prophets, diviners, dreamers, enchanters, [a.k.a. soothsayers & fortune tellers,] nor to your sorcerers, [who] speak to you, saying, You shall not serve [Babylon's] king. For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you, far from your land. And [so] that I should drive you out, [so] you should perish.

[Jeremiah 23:32 The Lord says, [Look,] I am against [those who] prophesy false dreams & tell them & cause My people to [go astray] by their lies & by their [indifference,] yet I [didn't send] them, nor [command] them. Therefore, they shall not [benefit] this people at all, says the Lord.]

But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke, [a.k.a. oppression] of [Babylon's] king, & serve him, I will let those still remain in their own land & they shall till it & dwell [in it,] says the Lord. I [spoke] to Zedekiah, [Judah's] king, according to all these Words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of [Babylon's] king & serve him & his people & live.

Why will you & your people die by the: sword, famine & pestilence, [like] the Lord has spoken against the nation that won't serve [Babylon's] king? Therefore, [don't pay attention] to the words of the prophets, [who] speak to you, saying, You shall not serve [Babylon's] king: for they prophesy a lie to you. For I haven't sent them, says the Lord.

[Still,] they prophesy a lie in My Name, [so] that I might drive you out & that you & the prophets [who] prophesy to you might perish. I also [spoke] to the priests & to all this people, saying, The Lord says this; [Don't pay attention] to the words of the prophets that prophesy to you, saying, [Look] now, the vessels of the Lord's house shall [soon] be brought again from Babylon. For they prophesy a lie to you.

[Don't listen] to them, [but] serve [Babylon's] king & live. [Why] would this city be [destroyed?] But, if they [are] prophets & the Word of the Lord [is] with them, let them now [plead] to the Lord of Hosts, [so] that the vessels [that] are left in the [Lord's] house & in the house of the king of Judah & Jerusalem, not go to Babylon.

For the Lord of Hosts says [this about] the: pillars, [brass] sea, the bases & the [rest] of the vessels that remain in this city, [so that] Nebuchadnezzar, [Babylon's] king, [doesn't take them,] when he carried away Jeconiah, [Jehoiakim's] son, [Judah's] king, [with] all the nobles of Judah & Jerusalem, captive from [Judah &] Jerusalem to Babylon.

[2 Kings 24:14 And he carried away all Jerusalem & all the princes, the mighty men of valor, even 10,000 captives & the craftsmen & [blacksmiths] & none remained [except] the poorest [type] of people of the land.]

[Yet,] the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel says [this about] the vessels that remain in the [Lord's] house & the house of the king of Judah & [in] Jerusalem; They shall be carried to Babylon & they shall be there until the day that I visit them, says the Lord. Then, I will bring them up & restore them to this place.

[Ezra 1:7-8 Also, king Cyrus brought [out] the vessels of the [Lord's] house, [that] Nebuchadnezzar brought out of Jerusalem & had put them in the house of his gods. Even those, king Cyrus of Persia, [brought out] by the hand of Mithredath, the treasurer & [counted] them [out] to Sheshbazzar, [Judah's] prince.]

Jeremiah 26:1-24 Jeremiah is Seized by the Priests, Prophets & People

Jeremiah is Seized by the Priests, Prophets & People

Jeremiah 26:1-24                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

In the beginning of the [rule] of Jehoiakim, [Josiah's] son, [Judah's] king, this Word came from the Lord, saying, The Lord says [this;] Stand in the [courtyard] of the [Lord's] house & speak all the Words that I command you to speak to them & [don't] diminish a Word: to all the cities of Judah, [who] come to worship in the Lord's house.

If they will [pay attention,] & every man [turns] from his evil [ways,] that I may [withdraw from] the evil, which I [intend] to do to them, because of the evil of their [actions.]

And you shall say to them, The Lord says [this;] If you won't [pay attention] to Me, to [follow] in My Law, [that] I have [put] before you, to [listen] to the Words of My servants, the prophets, whom I sent to you, both rising early [to warn] & sending them, but you haven't [listened.]

Then, I will make this house like Shiloh & will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. [Psalm 78:58-60 For they provoked Him to anger with their high places & moved Him to jealousy with their [carved] images. When God heard this, He was [furious] & greatly [loathed] Israel, so that He [abandoned] the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent [that] He placed among men.]

So, the priests, prophets & all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these Words in the [Lord's] house. Now, it [happened,] when Jeremiah had [finished] speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to [say] to all the people, priests & the prophets, the people [seized] him, saying, You shall surely die.

Why have you prophesied in the Name of the Lord, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh & this city shall be desolate, without [inhabitants?] And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the [Lord's] house. [Jeremiah 9:11 And I will make Jerusalem [ruinous] heaps & a den for [jackals. And I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without [inhabitants.]

When the princes of Judah heard these things, they then came up from the king's house to the [Lord's] house & sat down in the [entrance] of the New Gate of the Lord's house.

Then, the priests & prophets [spoke] to the princes & to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he has prophesied against this city, [like] you have heard with your ears. Then, Jeremiah [spoke] to all the princes & all the people, saying, The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house & against this city, all the Words that you have heard.

Therefore, now [change] your ways & your [actions] & obey the voice of the Lord your God. And the Lord will [withdraw from] the evil that He has [announced] against you. [Joel 2:12-13 The Lord says, Therefore, you shall also now [return,] even to Me with all your heart & with fasting, weeping & mourning.

And [tear] your heart & not your [clothing] & [return] to the Lord your God: for He is gracious & merciful, slow to anger, [with] great kindness & [He] [may] [withdraw] the [disaster.]

[Look,] as for me, I'm in your hand. Do with me [what] seems good & [right] to you. But, know for certain that if You put me to death, you shall surely bring innocent [bloodshed] upon yourselves, this city & [its residents.] For [truthfully,] the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these Words in your ears. Then, the princes & all the people said to the priests & prophets, This man isn't worthy of [death.] For he has spoken to us in the Name of the Lord our God.

Then [some] of the elders of the land rose up & spoke to all the assembly of people, saying, Micah, the Morasthite, prophesied in the days of Hezekiah, [Judah's] king & [spoke] to all the people of Judah, saying, The Lord of Hosts says [this,] Zion shall be plowed like a field & Jerusalem shall become [ruinous] heaps & the mountain [by the Lord's] house, [like] the high places of a forest.

Did Hezekiah, [Judah's] king & all Judah put [Micah] to death? Didn't he fear [respect] the Lord & [pleaded with] the Lord & the Lord [withdrew] the evil, [that] He had [declared] against them? [As a result of this,] we might [bring on] great evil against our [lives.] [Jeremiah 18:8 If that nation, against whom I have [announced, turns] from their evil, I will [withdraw] the evil that I thought to do to them.]

And there was also a man, who prophesied in the Name of the Lord. Urijah, son of Shemaiah [from] Kirjath Jearim, who prophesied against this city & this land, according to all the Words of Jeremiah. And when king Jehoiakim, with all his mighty men & all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death.

But when Urijah heard it, he was afraid & fled & went into Egypt. And king Jehoiakim sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan, [Achbor's] son & [some] men with him into Egypt.

And they [got] Urijah out of Egypt & brought him to king Jehoiakim, who [struck] him [down,] with the sword & [threw] his dead body [onto] the graves of the common people. [Still,] the hand of Ahikam, [Shaphan's] son, was with Jeremiah, [so] that they shouldn't give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.

[Jeremiah 39:14 They even sent & took Jeremiah out of the [courtyard] of the prison & [had him turned over] to Gedaliah, [Ahikam's] son, [who was] the son of Shaphan, [so] that he [would] carry [Jeremiah] home, so he dwelt among the people.]

Jeremiah 25:1-38 For Choosing to Worship False gods, They Will Go to Babylon 70 Years

For Choosing to Worship False gods, They Will Go to Babylon 70 Years

Jeremiah 25:1-38                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Word that came to Jeremiah [about] all the people of Judah, [during] the 4th year Jehoiakim, [Josiah's] son, [ruled as] [Judah's] king. That was the 1st year, Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, [ruled.]

Jeremiah, the prophet, [spoke] [this] to all the people of Judah & all the [residents] of Jerusalem, saying, From the 13th year of Josiah, [Amon's] son, [Judah's] king [ruled,] even [until] this day, that is the 23rd year.

The Word of the Lord has come to me & I have spoken to you, rising early [to warn] & speaking, but you haven't [paid attention.] [Jeremiah 11:7 For I [vigorously] protested to your [forefathers on] that day, that I brought them up, out of the land of Egypt, even [until] this day, rising early & protesting, saying, Obey My voice.]

And the Lord has sent to you all His servants, the prophets, rising early [to warn] & sending them, but you haven't [listened,] nor [leaned] your ear to hear. [Jeremiah 11:9-10 And the Lord said to me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah & the [residents] of Jerusalem.

They have turned back to their [forefathers' sins, who] refused to hear My Words & they went after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel & the house of Judah have broken My covenant [contract, that] I made with their [forefathers.]

They said, Now, everyone [of] you [return] again from his evil way & evil [actions] & dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you & to your [forefathers] forever & ever. And [don't] go after other gods to serve & worship them. And [don't] provoke Me to anger with the works [made] of your hands & I won't [harm] you.

[Still,] you haven't [paid attention] to Me, says the Lord; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hand, to your own [harm.] Therefore, the Lord of Hosts says [this;] Because you haven't heard My Words, [Look,] I will send [for] & take all families of the North, says the Lord.

And [Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, My servant, will bring them against this land & [its] inhabitants. And against all these nations [around it] & will [totally] destroy them & make them an astonishment, [to be hissed at,] & [continually desolate.]

[Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who] kill the prophets & stone [those who] are sent to you. How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen gathers her chickens under her wings & you would not!

[Look,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord.]

[Additionally, I will take the [sound] of [happiness] from them & the [voices] of gladness of the bridegroom & the bride & the sound of the millstones [grinding] & the light [from] the candle.

[Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall no [longer] shine in you at all. And the [voices] of the bridegroom & the bride, shall no [longer] be heard in you at all. For your merchants were the great men of the earth; [but] all nations were deceived, by your sorceries.]

And this whole land shall be a desolation & an astonishment. And these nations shall serve [Babylon's] king 70 years. [Daniel 9:2 In the 1st year, [he ruled,] I, Daniel, understood the number of years by the books, [of which] the Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, the prophet, [so] that he would accomplish 70 years of desolation in Jerusalem.]

The Lord says, And it shall [happen,] when 70 years are [completed,] that I will punish [Babylon's] king & that nation for their [sin] & will make the land of the Chaldeans, perpetual desolations.

And I will bring all My Words upon that land, [that] I have [declared] against it, even all that Jeremiah has prophesied that is written in this book, against all the nations. For many nations & great kings shall [make them their servants] to serve them.

Also, I will [repay] them according to their deeds & [according] to the works of their own hands. [2 Kings 19:17-18 Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations & their lands. And have cast their gods into the fire. For they weren't gods, but the work of men's hands, wood & stone. Therefore, they destroyed them.]

For the Lord God of Israel says [this] to me, Take the wine cup of this fury [from] My hand & cause all the nations, to drink it, to whom I send you. [Revelation 14:9-10 And the 3rd Angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man [worships] the beast & his image & [receives] his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation & he shall be tormented with fire & brimstone in the presence of the holy Angels & in the presence of the Lamb.]

And they shall drink & be [shaken] & [insane], because of the sword that I will send among them. [Deuteronomy 28:33-34 A nation [that] you [don't] know, shall eat up the fruit of your land & all your labors. And you shall [continue to] be oppressed & always crushed. So that, you shall be [driven] mad, by the sight of your eyes, [that] you shall see.]

Then, I took the cup [from] the Lord's hand & made all the nations drink, to whom the Lord had sent me. [That is,] Jerusalem & [Judah's] cities & [its] kings & princes, to make them: [desolate, astonished, hissed at & cursed,] as it is this day.

[These] shall drink after them: Pharaoh, [Egypt's] king & his princes, servants & all his people & all the [mixed] people & all the kings of the land of: Uz, the Philistines, Ashkelon, Azzah, Ekron & the [rest] of Ashdod.

[And] Edom, Moab & the children [people] of Ammon & all the kings of: Tyrus, Zidon, [a.k.a. Sidon] & the [coastal islands, that] are beyond the sea, Dedan, Tema & Buz & all that are in the [furthest] corners.

And all the kings of: Arabia & all the kings of: the mixed people [who] dwell in the desert. And all the kings of: Zimri, Elam & the Medes. And all the kings of: the North, far & near, one with another & all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the [surface] of the earth.

Therefore, you shall say to them, The Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says [this;] You, drink & be [drunk] & [hurl] & fall & no [longer] rise, because of the sword [that] I will send among you. [Isaiah 63:6 And I will [trample] down the people in [My] anger & make them drunk in My fury & I will bring their strength down to the [ground.]

And it shall [happen,] if they refuse to take the cup [from] your hand to drink, then, you shall say to them, The Lord of Hosts says [this;] You shall certainly drink. For, [look,] I begin to bring [calamity] on the city which is called by My Name & should you [go totally] unpunished?

You shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the Lord of Hosts. Therefore, you prophesy all these Words against them.

And say to them, The Lord shall roar from on high & [speak with] His voice from His holy habitation. He shall roar mightily [from] His habitation. He shall shout, against all the [earth's] inhabitants, [like those who trample] the grapes.

[Revelation 9:20-21 And the rest of the men, [who] weren't killed by these [plagues, still didn't repent] of the works [made from] their hands, [so] that they shouldn't worship [demons] & idols of: gold, silver, brass, stone & wood, [that] can neither: see, hear, nor walk.]

A noise shall come, even to the ends of the earth: for the Lord has a controversy with the nations & He will plead with all [humans.] He will give [those who] are wicked, to the sword, says the Lord.

[Revelation 22:12-15 And, [watch,] I come quickly & My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [to] his deeds. I Am [the] Alpha & [the] Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. Blessed are [those who] do His commandments, [so] that they have right to the Tree of Life & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers & idolaters & [whoever makes up & loves lies.]

The Lord of Hosts says [this, Look, disaster] shall go [out] from nation to nation & a [large tornado] shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the [dead] of the Lord, shall be from one end of the earth, even to the other [on] that day.

They shall not be [mourned,] neither gathered, nor buried. They shall be [like human fertilizer] upon the ground. [Isaiah 34:2-3 For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations & His fury, upon all their armies. He has [totally] destroyed them. He has delivered them to the slaughter. Also, their slain shall be cast out & their stink shall come up out of their [corpses] & their blood shall [pour down] the mountains.]

Howl & cry [out,] you shepherds & wallow yourselves in the ashes. You [leaders] of the flock: for the days of your slaughter & your [scattering] are accomplished. And you shall fall like a pleasant [clay vase shatters.]

And the shepherds & the [leaders] of the flock shall have no way to flee & escape. A [sound] of the [shepherd's out] cry shall be heard, [because] the Lord has [plundered] their pasture. [Ezekiel 34:2-6 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. The Lord God says [this] to the shepherds; Woe to the shepherds of Israel, [who] feed themselves! Shouldn't the shepherds feed the flocks?

You eat the fat & you clothe [yourselves] with the wool. You kill [those] that are fed, but you don't feed the flock. You haven't strengthened the diseased & neither have you healed [those] that [were] sick. Neither have you [bandaged] up [those] that [were] broken. Neither have you brought again, [those] that [were] driven away.

Neither have you [searched] for [those] that [were] lost; but you have ruled them with force & cruelty. And they were scattered, because there was no shepherd. And they became meat to all the [animals] of the field, when they were scattered.]

And the [peaceful] habitations are cut down, because of the [Lord's] fierce anger. He has [abandoned] His [home, like] the lion. [In] His fierce anger, their land is desolate, because of the fierceness of the oppressor.

Jeremiah 24:1-10 The 2 Baskets of Figs

The 2 Baskets of Figs

Jeremiah 24:1-10                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord [showed] me & [I] [saw] 2 baskets of figs were [put in front of] the [Lord's] temple, after Nebuchadrezzar, [a.k.a. Nebuchadnezzar, Babylon's] king, had carried away captive Jeconiah, [Jehoiakim's] son, [Judah's] king & the princes of Judah, with the carpenters & [blacksmiths,] from Jerusalem & brought them to Babylon.

One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe. And the other basket had very [bad] figs, which couldn't be eaten, they were so [rotten.] [Isaiah 5:7 For the vineyard of the Lord of Hosts is the house of Israel & the men of Judah, [are] His pleasant plant. And He looked for [justice,] but [saw] oppression. [He looked] for righteousness, but [observed an out] cry.]

Then, the Lord said to me, What [do] you see, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs [are] very good. And the [bad] figs, [are] very [bad,] that can't be eaten, they are so [rotten.]

Again, the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, The Lord, the God of Israel says, [this;] Like these good figs, I will [also] acknowledge [those who] are carried away captive [from] Judah, whom I have sent out of this place, into the land of the Chaldeans, for their [safety.]

For I will set My eyes upon them for good & I will bring them again to this land. And I will build them [up] & not pull them down. And I will plant them & not [pull] them up.

[Jeremiah 12:15 And it shall [happen,] after I have plucked them out, I will return & [will] have compassion on them & will bring them again, every man to his heritage & every man to his land.]

And I will give them a heart to know Me, that I Am the Lord & they shall be My people & I will be their God. For they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

[1 Samuel 7:4 Then, the children [people] of Israel did put away Baalim, [a.k.a. Baal] & Ashtaroth & only served the Lord.]

The Lord says this, And [like] the [bad] figs, [that] can't be eaten, [because] they are so [rotten,] surely, I will [also] give Zedekiah, [Judah's] king, his princes & the [rest] of Jerusalem, [who] remain in this land & [those who] dwell in the land of Egypt & I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth, for their [harm,] to be a [disgrace,] proverb, a [song of taunting] & a curse, in all places [where] I shall drive them.

[2 Chronicles 36:11- Zedekiah was 21 years old when he began to [rule] & he [ruled] 11 years in Jerusalem. And he did [what] was evil in the sight of the Lord his God & [didn't] humble himself before Jeremiah, the prophet, [who spoke] from the mouth of the Lord. And he also rebelled against king [Nebuchadnezzar,] who had made [Zedekiah] swear by God: but he [stubbornly] stiffened his neck & hardened his heart from turning to the Lord God of Israel.

[Also] all the chief priests & the people [sinned] very much, [following] all the abominations of the heathen & [defiled] the [Lord's] house, [that] He had hallowed in Jerusalem. And the Lord God of their [forefathers] sent His messengers to them, rising up [early] [to warn] & sending; because He had compassion on His people & on His dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God & despised His Words & [mistreated] His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, [until] there was no remedy.

And I will send the sword, famine & pestilence, among them, [until] they [are devoured] from off the land that I gave to them & to their [forefathers.]

Jeremiah 23:1-40 Those Who Have Scattered the Lord's Flock

Those Who Have Scattered the Lord's Flock

Jeremiah 23:1-40                               The Book of Jeremiah [in Smaller Chunks]

The Lord says, Woe to the pastors, [a.k.a. shepherds, who] destroy & scatter the sheep of My pasture! Therefore, the Lord God of  Israel says [this] against the pastors, [who] feed My people. You have scattered My flock & driven them away & haven't visited them.

[Watch,] I will visit upon you, [a.k.a. punish,] the evil of your [actions,] says the Lord. And I will gather [those remaining] of My flock out of all [the] countries, [where] I have driven them & will bring them [back] again to their [sheep pens] & they shall be fruitful & increase.

And I will set up shepherds over them, [who] shall feed them. And they shall [not be afraid anymore,] nor [shall they] be [discouraged.] Neither shall they [lack what's needed,] says the Lord. [Jeremiah 3:15 I will give you pastors according to My heart, [who] shall feed you with knowledge & understanding.]

*[Watch,] the days come, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Righteous Branch. And a King shall [rule] & prosper & shall [carry out] Judgment, Justice & Truth [on] the earth. Revelation 22:16-17 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify these things to you in the churches.

I Am the Root & the offspring of David & the Bright & Morning Star. And the Spirit & the bride say, Come. And let him, [who hears] say, Come. And let him, [who] is [thirsty,] come. And [whoever is willing,] let him take the Water of Life freely.]

*[During] His days, Judah shall be saved & Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His Name [by which] He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. [Isaiah 11:1-2 *And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse & a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

*And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom & understanding, the Spirit of counsel & Might, the Spirit of Knowledge & the Fear [Respect] of the Lord.]

The Lord says, Therefore, [watch] the days [come,] that they shall no [longer] say, The Lord lives, [Who] brought up the children [people] of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord lives, [Who] brought up & led [those descendants from] the house of Israel, out of the North country & from all the countries [where] I had driven them & they shall dwell in their own land.

[My] heart is broken within me, because of the prophets. Because of the Lord & the Words of His Holiness & all my bones shake like a [drunk] man, [who has been] overcome by wine. For the land is full of adulterers.

[Ezekiel 23:37-38 They that have committed adultery & blood is [on] their hands & they have committed adultery with their idols & have also caused their sons, whom they [bore] to Me, to pass through the fire, to devour them, for [their idols.] [Additionally,] they have done this to Me. They have defiled My sanctuary [on] the same day & have profaned My Sabbaths.]

The land [mourns,] because of the swearing. And the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up & their [path] is evil & their [forcefulness] isn't right. For both [prophets & priests] are profane. [Yes,] I have found their wickedness in My house, says the Lord.

[Jeremiah 7:30-31 For the children [people] of Judah have done evil in My sight, says the Lord. They have [put] their abominations in the house called by My Name, to [defile] it.

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which [are] in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons & daughters in the fire, [that] I [didn't command] them, neither [did] it [come] into My heart.]

[For this reason,] their [road] shall be to them [like] slippery [roads] in the darkness. They shall be driven on & fall [on them.] For I will bring [calamity] upon them, even the year of their visitation, [a.k.a. punishment,] says the Lord. [Psalm 35:6 Let their [road] be dark & slippery & let the Angel of the Lord persecute them.]

And I have seen [foolishness] in the prophets of Samaria. They prophesied [about] Baal & caused My people, Israel, to [go astray.] [Jeremiah 2:8 The priest's [didn't] say, Where is the Lord? And [those who] handle [the matters of] the Law, [didn't] know Me. The pastors also [sinned] against Me & the prophets prophesied by Baal & [followed] after things that [aren't beneficial.]

I have also seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem. They commit adultery & [follow] in [what are] lies. They also strengthen the hands of [those who do evil, so] that none [returns] from his wickedness. They are all of them to Me [like] Sodom & [its] inhabitants [like] Gomorrah.

Therefore, the Lord of Hosts says [this about] the prophets; [Look,] I will feed them with wormwood & make them drink the [bitter] water of gall. For profaneness from the prophets of Jerusalem [has] gone [out] into all the land.

The Lord of Hosts says [this, Don't pay attention] to the words of the prophets, [who] prophesy to you. They make you vain & they speak a vision [from] their own heart & not out of the mouth of the Lord.

They still say to [those who] despise Me, The Lord has said, You shall have peace & they say, No evil shall [happen] to you. Everyone [follows] after the imagination of his own heart. [Jeremiah 5:11-14 Therefore, the Lord says [this, Watch,] I will bring [calamity] upon them, [that] they shall not be able to escape. And though they cry [out] to Me, I won't [pay attention] to them.]

For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord & has heard & [understood] His Word? Who has [written] His Word & heard it? [Look,] a whirlwind [from] the Lord [has] gone [out] in [a] fury, even a [violent] whirlwind. It shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

[Jeremiah 7:17-18 [Don't] be [terrifying] to me. You are my hope [on] the day of [doom.] Let [those] be [confused, who] persecute me, but [don't] let me be [ashamed.] Let them be dismayed, but [don't] let me be [discouraged.] Bring upon them the day of [doom] & destroy them with double destruction.]

The anger of the Lord shall not return, Until He [has carried out] & He [has accomplished] the thoughts of His heart. In the [later] days, you shall consider it [flawlessly.]

[Jeremiah 7:17-18 [Don't] you see what they do in the cities of Judah & the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood & the fathers [start] a fire. And the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven & to pour out drink offerings to other gods, [so] that they may provoke Me to anger.]

I haven't sent these prophets, yet they ran. I haven't spoken to them, yet they prophesied. [Jeremiah 14:14-15 Then, the Lord said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in My Name. And I [didn't send] them & neither have I commanded them. Neither [have I] [spoken] to them.

They prophesy to you a false vision & divination & a [useless] thing & the deceit of their heart. Therefore, the Lord says [this about] the prophets [who] prophesy in My Name & I [didn't send] them. [Still,] they say, [The] sword & famine shall not be in this land. Those prophets, shall be consumed by sword & famine.]

But if they stood in My counsel & had caused My people to hear My Words, then they [would] have [returned] them from their evil [ways & evil actions.] [Luke 15:6-7 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends & neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep [that] was lost. I say to you, that [similar] joy shall be in heaven over one sinner, [who] repents, more than over 99 just [people, who don't] need repentance.

The Lord says, Am I a God [close] at hand & not a God [far away?] The Lord says, Can any hide himself in secret [places] that I shall not see him? The Lord says, Don't I fill heaven & earth? I have heard what the prophets said, [who] prophesy lies in My Name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets, [who] prophesy lies? [Yes,] they are prophets [with] the deceit of their own [hearts.] [Who] think to cause My people to forget My Name, [through] their dreams, [that] every man [tells] to his neighbor. [Like] their [forefathers] have forgotten My Name, [instead] for Baal. [Judges 3:7 And the children [people] of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord & [forgot] the Lord their God & served Baalim, [a.k.a Baal] & the groves.]

The prophet [who] has a dream, let him tell [the] dream. And he, [who] has My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully. The Lord says, What is the [hull covering of] chaff to the wheat? The Lord says, Isn't My Word like a fire? And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

[Jeremiah 2:26-28 [Like] the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed. They, their: kings, princes, priests & prophets, [say] to a [tree stump], You are my father & to a [rock,] You have [given birth to me.] For they have turned their [backs] to Me & not [returned] their face.

But in the time of their trouble, they will say, Arise & save us. But where are your gods that you have made [yourselves?] Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble. For, O Judah, your gods are according to the number of your cities.]

Therefore, [look,] I am against the prophets & everyone [steals] My Words from his neighbor, says the Lord. [Deuteronomy 18:20 But the prophet, [who] shall presume to speak a word in My Name, [that] I haven't commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.]

The Lord says, [Look,] I am against the prophets, [who] use their [mouths] & say, [God] says. The Lord says, [Look,] I'm against [those who] prophesy false dreams & tell them & cause My people to [go astray,] by their lies & by their [indifference.] [Still,] I [didn't] send them, nor commanded them.

Therefore, they shall not [benefit] this people at all, says the Lord. [Jeremiah 20:6 And you, Pashur & all [who] dwell in your house, shall go into captivity. And you shall come to Babylon & there you shall die & shall be buried there & all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.]

And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden, [a.k.a. vision] of the Lord? Then, you shall say to them, What burden? I will even [cast] you [off,] says the Lord. And as for the prophet, the priest & the people, [who] shall say, The [vision] of the Lord, I will even punish that man & his house.

[Ezekiel 22:26-27 Her priests have violated My Law & have profaned [My] holy things. They have put no difference between the holy & the [ungodly.] Neither have they [shown any] difference between the unclean & the clean & [they] have [hidden] their eyes from My Sabbaths & I am [blasphemed] among them. In the midst of [it,] her princes are like [ravenous] wolves [tearing] the prey, to shed blood & to destroy souls & to get dishonest gain.]

Everyone [of] you shall say [this] to his neighbor & his brother, What has the Lord answered? And, What has the Lord spoken? You shall no [longer] mention the [vision] of the Lord, for every man's word, shall be his [vision.] For you have [twisted] the Words of the Living God of the Lord of Hosts our God. [Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, [who] come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly, they are [ravenous] wolves.

You shall say [this] to the prophet, What has the Lord answered you? And, What has the Lord spoken? But since you say, The [vision] of the Lord, Therefore, the Lord says [this;] Because you say this: The [vision] of the Lord & I have sent to you, saying, You shall not say, The [vision] of the Lord.

Therefore, [look,] I, even I, will [totally] forget you & I will [abandon] you & the city that I gave you & your [forefathers] & cast you out of My presence. And I will bring [eternal disgrace] & [continual] shame upon you, [that] shall not be forgotten.

[Micah 3:5-7 The Lord says [this about] the prophets [who] make My people [go astray & who] bite with their teeth & cry [out,] Peace, [but God] hasn't put it into their mouths. They even prepare war against Him.

Therefore, you shall not have a vision & night shall be dark to you, [so] that you shall not divine & when the sun [goes] down over the prophets, then day shall be dark over them. Then the seers, [a.k.a. prophets who see visions,] shall be ashamed & the diviners [confused. [Yes,] they shall all cover their lips: for there is no answer [from] God.]
