About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 13:1-35 Some are Angry that Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

Some are Angry that Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

Luke 13:1-35          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

At that season, there were some present, [who] told [Jesus about] the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate [mixed] with their sacrifices. And answering, Jesus said to them, You suppose that these Galilaeans, [a.k.a. Galileans,] were sinners [more than] all the [Galileans,] because they suffered such things.

I tell you, [No,] but, [unless] you repent, you all shall [also] perish. Or [do] you think that [those] 18, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, & [killed] them, were sinners [more than] all men, [who lived] in Jerusalem? I tell you, [No,] but, [unless] you repent, you all shall [also] perish.

*[Jesus] also [spoke] this parable.  [Psalm 78:1-4 [Listen,] O My people, to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old, [that] we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] the praises of the Lord, His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a.miracles,] He has done, to the generation to come.]

A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard. And he came [looked for] fruit upon it, & found none. Then, he said to the [keeper] of his vineyard, [Look,] I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree these 3 years, & [found] none. Cut it down. Why [does] it [hinder] the ground?

And answering, he said to him, Lord, [a.k.a. Master,] let it alone this year also, [until] I dig [around] it, & [fertilize] it. And if it [produces] fruit, [great,] & if not, then you shall cut it down after that.

And [Jesus] was teaching in 1 of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And, [saw] there was a woman, [who] had a spirit of infirmity 18 years, & was [bent over,] & was [unable] to lift herself up. *And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, & said to her, Woman, you are [loosened, a.k.a. released,] from your infirmity.

*And [Jesus] laid His hands on her: & immediately she was made straight, & glorified God. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a deer.] And the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And the ruler [in charge] over the synagogue answered [indignantly,] because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath Day. And [the ruler over the synagogue] said to the people, There are 6 days in which men ought to work: [during] them. Therefore, come & be healed, [but] not on the Sabbath Day.

Then, the Lord answered him, & said, You hypocrite, [a.k.a. someone who says 1 thing & does another,] Don't each of you [loosen] his ox or his [mule] on the Sabbath, from the stall, & lead him away to [the] watering [trough?]

*And [shouldn't] this woman, [who] [is] a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, [all] these 18 years, be [released] from this [burden] on the Sabbath day? And when [Jesus] had said these things, all His [enemies] were ashamed. And all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by [Jesus.]

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who [heals] all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

Then, [Jesus said, [To] what is the Kingdom of God like, [a.k.a. similar to?] And [to what] shall I [compare] it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, [that] a man took, & [threw] into his garden. And it grew, & [became] a [large] tree; & the [birds] of the air lodged in [its] branches.

And again, [Jesus] said, [To what] shall I [compare] the Kingdom of God? It is like leaven, [a.k.a. yeast,] which a woman took, & hid in 3 measures of meal, [a.k.a. flour, until] the whole [dough] was leavened.

And [Jesus] went through the cities & villages, teaching, [making His way,] toward Jerusalem. Then, [someone] said to Him, Lord, are there few, [who are] saved? And [Jesus] said to them, [Work hard] to enter in at the [narrow] gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in, & shall not be able [to.]

When the master of the house [has previously] risen up, & [has] shut the door, & you begin to stand [outside,] & knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. And He shall answer, & say to you, I [don't] know [where] you are [from.]

[Revelation 22:11-15 He, [who] is unjust, let him still be unjust. And he, [who] is filthy, let him still be filthy. And he, [who] is righteous, let him still be righteous. And he, [who] is holy, let him still be holy. *And [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.]

I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside,] are: dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters, & [whoever] loves & makes [up lies.]

Then, you shall begin to say, We have eaten & drunk in Your presence, & You have taught in our streets. But He shall say, I tell you, I [don't] know [where] you are [from.] Depart from Me, all you workers of [sinfulness.]

Weeping & gnashing of teeth shall be there, when you shall see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, & all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, & you, yourselves [are] [thrown] out.

And they shall come from: the East, West, North, & South, & shall sit down in the Kingdom of God. [Revelation 7:9-10 After this, I [looked] & [saw,] a [large] multitude, which no man could [count,] from all: nations, [families,] people, & [languages,] stood [in front of] the throne, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands, before the Lamb. And [they] cried [out] with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, [Who] sits upon the throne & to the Lamb.]

And, [watch, those, who] are last, shall be first. And [those, who] are first, shall be last. [Some] of the Pharisees came there the same day, saying, You, get out, & [leave from here.] For [king] Herod will kill You.

And *[Jesus] said to them, You, go & tell that fox, [See,] I cast out [demons,] & today & tomorrow, I [cure.] [Isaiah 20:18-20 *And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the Words of the Book, & the eyes of the blind shall see out of [cloudiness,] & out of darkness. Also, the meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men, shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to [nothing,] & the scorner is consumed, [a.k.a. destroyed.] And all [who] watch for [opportunities for] [sinfulness,] are cut off.]

*And the third day, I will be perfected. [Luke 24:45-48 *Then, [Jesus] opened their understanding, [so] that they might understand the Scriptures, & said to them, [Like this] it is written, & [like this,] it [was necessary for] Christ to suffer, & to rise from the dead, the third day.

[So,] that repentance & remission, [a.k.a. forgiveness,] of sins should be preached in His Name, among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things.]

[Still,] I must walk today, & tomorrow, & the following day. For it can't be that a prophet [perishes] out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [who kills] the prophets, & [stones those, who] are sent to [warn] you.

How often I would have gathered your children together, [like] a hen [gathers] her brood, [a.k.a. young,] under her wings, & you would not! *[Look,] your house is left to you desolate.

*And [truly,] I say to you, You shall not see Me, until the time [comes] when you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. [Psalm 118:26 *Blessed [is] He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. We have blessed You out of the house of the Lord.]

Luke 12:1-59 A Man's Life Doesn't Consist of Lots of Possessions

A Man's Life Doesn't Consist of Lots of Possessions

Luke 12:1-59          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

In the meantime, when [a countless] multitude of people gathered together there, [in] that, they [trampled] upon one another, [Jesus,] began to say to His disciples, You, first of all, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. [Matthew 16:12 Then, they understood how [Jesus didn't bid] them [to] beware of the leaven, [a.k.a. yeast,] of bread, but of the doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching,] of the Pharisees & the Sadducees.]

For there is nothing covered, [a.k.a. concealed,] that shall not be revealed, & neither [is there anything] [hidden,] that shall not be known. Therefore, [whatever] you have spoken in darkness, shall be heard in the light. And [what] you have spoken in the ear in closets, shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

And I say to you, My friends, [Don't] be afraid of [those, who] kill the body. After that, they have no more that they can do. But I will [warn you in advance,] Whom you shall fear, [a.k.a. respect.] Fear [God, Who] after He [has] killed, [has] [the] power to cast into hell. Yes, I say to you, Fear, [respect] Him.

Aren't 5 sparrows sold for 2 farthings, & not 1 of them is forgotten before God? But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore, [don't] fear, [because] you are of more value than many sparrows. Also, I say to you, [Whoever] shall confess Me, [in front of] men, the Son of Man shall also confess him before the Angels of God.

[Revelation 3:5 He, [who] overcomes, shall be clothed in white [clothing.] And I won't blot out his name, out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father, & before His Angels.

*But he, [who] denies Me [in front of] men, shall be denied before the Angels of God. [1 Samuel 2:30 *[For this reason,] the Lord God of Israel [says,] Indeed, I said, that your house, [a.k.a. family,] & the house of your father, should walk before Me forever. But now, the Lord [says,] Be it far from Me; for I will honor, [those, who] honor Me, & [those, who] despise Me, shall be [lightly thought of.]

And [whoever] shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him. But to him, [who] blasphemes against the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] shall not be forgiven [for] it.

And you, take no thought when they bring you to the: synagogues, magistrates, [a.k.a. judges,] & [those in] [power,] [about] how or what thing you shall answer, or what you shall say. For the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.

And [someone] in the [crowd] said to Him, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] speak to my brother, [so] that he [divides] the inheritance with me. And [Jesus] said to him, Man, who has made Me a judge or a divider over you? And [Jesus] said to them, [Pay attention,] & beware of [greed,] for man's life [doesn't] consist in the abundance of things [that] he possesses.

*And [Jesus spoke] a parable to them.

Saying,The ground, [a.k.a. soil] of a certain rich man [produced abundantly.] And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room to [store my crops?] And he said, I will do this. I will pull down my barns, & build [larger] [ones.] And I will [store] all my fruits & goods there.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you [have many] goods, [stored] up for many years. [You,] take [it easy,] & eat, drink, & be merry. But God said to him, You fool, your soul shall be required [from] you this night. Then, whose shall those things [belong] [to,] [that] you have provided?

[Matthew 16:26 For what is a man [benefited,] if he shall gain the whole world, & lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? ]

[The same] is he, who [stores] up treasure for himself, & isn't rich, [a.k.a. generous,] toward God. And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore, I say to you, Take no thought [about] your life, what you shall eat; & neither for the body, what you shall put on.

The life is more than meat, [a.k.a. food,] & the body is more than [clothing.] Consider the ravens. For they neither sow [seeds,] nor [harvest.] Neither [do they] have [storehouses,] nor [barns,] & God feeds them. How much more [important] are you than the [birds?]

And which of you can add to his [height] 1 cubit, [by worrying?] If then you [aren't] able to do a [little] thing, why [worry about] the rest? Consider the lilies, & how they grow. They [don't] spin; & [still] I say to you, that Solomon in all his glory wasn't [clothed] like one of these.

Then, if God [clothes] the grass, [this way, that] is in the field today, & is cast into the oven [tomorrow;] how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? And [don't] seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, & neither [let] your mind be doubtful.

For the nations of the world seek after all these things. And your Father knows that you have need of these things. But [instead,] you seek the Kingdom of God; & all these things shall be added to you. [Don't] fear, little flock. For it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

Sell [what] you have, & give [contributions.] Provide yourselves [with] bags [that don't grow] old, & a treasure in the heavens, that [doesn't fail.] Where no thief [approaches,] & neither [does a] moth [ruin] [it.] For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Let your [waist] be [belted,] & your lights burning. And you, yourselves [are] [similar] to men, [who] wait for their lord, & when he [returns] from the wedding, [so] that when he [comes] knocking, they immediately open [the door] to him.

[Revelation 3:19-22 As many as I love, I [reprimand & chastise.] Therefore, be zealous & repent. [Look,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who overcomes] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [says] to the churches.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord, [a.k.a. master of the house,] shall find watching when he comes. [Truly,] I say to you, that he shall [clothe] himself, & make them sit down to [eat,] & will come [forward] & serve them.

And if he shall come in the 2nd or 3rd watch, & [finds] them [doing] so, blessed are those servants. And know this, that if the [master] of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched & not have [allowed] his house to be broken [into.]

Therefore, also be ready, for the Son of Man [comes] at an hour when you think [it's] not [then.] [1 Thessalonians 5:6-10 Therefore, let's not sleep [like] others do; but let us watch & be sober. For [those, who] sleep, sleep in the night. And [those, who are drunk, become drunk] in the night.

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith & love. And the hope of Salvation for [a] helmet. For God [hasn't selected] us [for] wrath, but to obtain Salvation [through] our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, [so] that whether we wake or sleep [in death,] we should live together with Him.]

Then, Peter said to [Jesus,] Lord, [do] You [speak] this parable [just] to us, or even to all? And the Lord said, Then, who is that faithful & wise steward, [a.k.a. manager,] whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat, [a.k.a. food,] in due [time?] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord, shall find doing so, when he [comes.]

[Truthfully,] I say to you, that he will make him ruler over all that he [has.] But, if that servant [says within] his heart, My lord [delays] his coming, & [begins] to beat the [male servants,] & maidens, & [begins] to eat, & drink, & [becomes drunk.]

[Then,] the Lord of that servant, will come [on] a day when he [isn't looking] for him, & at an hour he isn't aware [of,] & will [separate] him, & will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

And that servant, who] knew his lord's will, & [didn't prepare] himself, & [didn't]  [do] according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks.] But he, [who didn't know,] & [committed] things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with [fewer] stripes. For to [whomever] much [responsibility] is given, much shall be required [from] him.

[Numbers 15:29 You shall have 1 law for him, [who sins] through ignorance, both for him, [who] is born among the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, & for the stranger, [who stays] among them.]

And to whom men have committed much, they will ask [from] him [even] more. I [have] come to send fire on the earth. And [do] I [wish] if it [were] already kindled, [a.k.a. started?] But I have a baptism to be baptized with, & I am [overwhelmed until it's] accomplished!

You suppose that I [have] come to give peace on earth? I tell you, [No;] but division [instead.] For from [now on,] there shall be 5 in one house divided, 3 against 2, & 2 against 3. The father shall be divided against the son, & the son [shall be divided] against the father.

The mother against the daughter, & the daughter against the mother. The mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, & the daughter-in-law, against her mother-in-law. And [Jesus] also said to the people, When you see a cloud rise out of the West, [immediately,] you say, There [comes] a shower, & it is so.

And when you see the South wind blow, you say, There will be heat; & it [happens.] You hypocrites, [a.k.a. those who say 1 thing & do another,] [are aware of] the [surface] of the sky & the earth; but how is it that you [aren't aware] of this time?

[Psalm 97:5-7 The hills [melt] like wax at the presence of the Lord. At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth, the heavens declare His righteousness, & all the people see His glory. [Confused are] all, [those, who] serve [carved] images, & [who] boast themselves of idols. Worship [the Lord God,] all you gods.]

Yes,] & why [don't] you, yourselves even judge what is right? When you [go] with your [enemy] to the [deputy,] as you [are on] the [road, try hard,] [to resolve things,] [so] you may be delivered from him.

Lest he [takes] you to the judge, & the judge [delivers] you to the officer, & the officer [casts] you into prison. I tell you, [that] you shall not [leave] [from] [there, until] you [have] paid the very last [penny.]

[Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek you the Lord while He may be found, & you, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked [abandon] his [ways,] & the unrighteous man [abandon] his thoughts, & let him return to the Lord. And He will have mercy upon him, & [return] to our God, for He will pardon abundantly.]

Luke 11:1-54 The Crowd Challenges Jesus Christ as He Casts Out Demons

The Crowd Challenges Jesus Christ as He Casts Out Demons

Luke 11:1-54          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And as [Jesus] was praying in a certain place, it [happened,] when He [stopped] [praying,] 1 of His disciples said to Him, Lord, teach us to pray, [like] John also taught his disciples.

And [Jesus] said to them, When you pray, say, Our Father, [Who] art in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, [on] earth, as in heaven. Give us [each] day, our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, [a.k.a. trespasses,] for we [should] also forgive everyone, [who] is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

And [Jesus] said to them, Which of you, [who has] a friend, & [goes] to him at midnight, & [says] to him, Friend, lend me 3 loaves [of bread,] [since] a friend of mine [on] his journey [has] come to me, & I have nothing to [put in front of] him?

And he, [who is] [inside,] shall answer & say, [Don't] trouble me. The door is now shut, & my children [and] [I] are in bed, & I can't rise & give [it to] you. I say to you, [Although] he won't rise & give [it to] him, [but] because he is his friend, & his [insistence up till now,] he will rise & give him as many [loaves] as he [needs.]

And I say to you, Ask, & it shall be given [to] you. Seek, & you shall find. Knock, & it shall be opened to you. [James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask [from] God, [Who] gives to all men [generously,] & [doesn't scold.] And it shall be given to him. But let him ask in faith, [not] wavering. For he, [who wavers] is like a wave of the sea driven & tossed with the wind.]

For everyone, [who asks, receives.] And he, [who seeks, finds.] And to him, [who knocks,] it shall be opened. [Revelation 3:20-22 [Look,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me.

I will grant to him, [who overcomes,] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & am [sitting] down with My Father, [on] His throne. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [says] to the churches.]

If a son shall ask [for] bread [from] any of you, [who] is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he [asks] [for] a fish, will he give him a serpent, [a.k.a. snake,] [instead of] a fish?

Or if he shall ask [for] an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? Then, if you being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to [those, who] ask Him?

*And [Jesus] was casting out a [demon,] & it was dumb, [a.k.a. mute.] And it [happened,] when the [demon had left,] the [mute spoke;] & the people wondered. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened. And the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a deer.] And the tongue of the dumb [shall] sing. For waters break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

But some of them said, He [casts] out [demons,] through Beelzebub, the chief of the [demons.] And others, [testing] Him, sought a sign from heaven [from] Him. But [Jesus,] knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself, is brought to desolation; & a house divided against a house, [falls.]

Because, you say that I cast out demons through Beelzebub, If Satan [is] also divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? And if I cast out [demons] by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges.

But if I, with the finger of God, cast out [demons,] no doubt the Kingdom of God [has] come upon you. When [an] armed, strong man keeps, [a.k.a. guards,] his palace, his goods, [a.k.a possessions,] are [at] peace. [Mark 7:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house & [plunder] his goods, [unless] he 1st [ties] the strong man [up.] And then, he will [plunder] his house.

But when a stronger [one,] than he, shall come upon him, & [overcomes] him, & he [takes] all his [armor] from him, [in which] he trusted, & [divides] his [plunder.] He, [who] isn't with Me, is against Me. And he, [who doesn't] gather [believers] with Me, [scatters.]

When the unclean spirit [has] gone out of a man, & [ the demon walks] through dry places, seeking rest, & [finds] none, he [says,] I will return to my house, [from] [where] I came out. And when [the] [demon comes,] he [finds] it swept & [decorated.]

Then, he [goes] & [takes with] him 7 other spirits, more wicked than [he] [is.] And they enter in, & dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the [beginning.]

And as [Jesus spoke] these things, [it happened,] a certain woman [from] the [group] lifted up her voice, & said to [Jesus,] Blessed is the womb that [bore] You, & the [breasts] which You [have] sucked. But [Jesus] said, [Yes, instead,] blessed are [those, who] hear the Word of God & keep it.

And when the people were gathered, [crowded] together, [Jesus] began to say, This is an evil generation. They seek [for] a sign, but no sign shall be given [to] it, [except] the sign of [Jonah,] the prophet. For [like [Jonah] was a sign to the Ninevites, so shall the Son of Man also be to this generation.

The Queen of the South, [a.k.a. the  Queen of Sheba,] shall rise up in judgment with the men of this generation, & condemn them. For she came from the [furthest] parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, And, [look,] a [more] [significant] than Solomon is here.

The men of [Nineveh,] shall rise up, in judgment [against] this generation, & shall condemn it. For they, [a.k.a. the Ninevites,] repented at the preaching of [Jonah.] And [see,] a [more] [significant] than [Jonah] is here.

No man, when he has [lit] a candle, [puts] it in a secret place, & neither under a bushel, [a.k.a. basket,] but [puts it] on a candlestick, [so] that [those, who] come in may see the light.

The eye is the light of the body. Therefore, when your eye is single, [a.k.a. focused,] your whole body is also full of light. But when your eye is evil, your body is also full of darkness. Therefore, [pay attention,] that the light [that] is [within] you [isn't] darkness. [Isaiah 49:6 *And [God] said, It is a light thing that You [should] be My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, & to restore the preserved, [a.k.a. saved] of Israel. I will also give You for a Light to the Gentiles, [so] that You [may] be My Salvation to the [ends] of the earth.]

Therefore, if your whole body [is] full of Light, having no dark part, the whole [body] shall be full of Light, [like] when the bright, shining candle [gives] you light. [1 John 1:7 But if we walk, [a.k.a. follow,] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

And as [Jesus spoke,] a certain Pharisee, [asked] Him to dine with him. And [Jesus] went in, & sat down to [dinner.] And when the Pharisee saw it, he [marveled] that [Jesus] hadn't 1st washed before dinner.

And the Lord said to him, Now, you, Pharisees, make the outside of the cup & platter clean; but [inside you're] full of [ravaging] & wickedness. You fools, didn't He, [Who] made [what] is [outside,] also make [what] is [inside?] But [instead] [you] give [donations] of such things as you have. And, [look,] all things are clean [for] you.

[Isaiah 58:7 *Isn't it [more important] to [divide] your bread to the hungry, & that you bring the poor, [who] are [outcasts, into] your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him. And that you [don't] hide yourself from your own flesh [& blood.

But woe, [a.k.a. distress,] to you, Pharisees! For you tithe, [a k.a. 10% donation,] [of] mint & rue, [a.k.a. bitter herb,] & all [types] of herbs, & [skip] over [justice] & the love of God. You ought to have done these, & not leave the [others] undone.

Woe to you, Pharisees! For you love the [highest] seats in the synagogues, & greetings in the markets. Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites, [a.k.a. those who say one thing & do another!] For you are [like] graves that [aren't able to be seen,] & the men, [who] walk over them aren't aware of them.

Then, one of the lawyers answered, & said to [Jesus,] Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] You also [scold] us [with] [this] saying. And [Jesus] said, Woe to you lawyers, also! For you [load] men with grievous burdens [to carry,] & you, yourselves [wouldn't] touch the burdens with 1 of your fingers.

Woe to you! For you build the [prophet's tombs,] & your [forefathers] killed them. Truly, you [testify] that you allow, [a.k.a. agree with,] the deeds of your [forefathers.] For indeed they killed them, & you build their [tombs.]

Therefore, the wisdom of God also said, I will send them prophets, & apostles, & they shall [kill] & persecute some of them. [Matthew 23:4 [For this reason,] I send you prophets, wise men, & scribes. And you shall kill & crucify some of them. And you shall scourge, [a.k.a. whip,] some of them in your synagogues, & persecute them from city to city.

[So] the blood of all the prophets, [that] was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required [from] this generation. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who kill] the prophets & [stop those, who] are sent to [warn] you!

How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [See,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord.

From the blood of Abel to the blood of [Zachariah, who] perished between the altar & the temple. [Truly,] I say to you, It shall be required [from] this generation.

Woe to you, lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; & you [didn't] enter in yourselves. And you hindered [those, who] were entering in. And [Jesus] said these things to them.

The scribes & Pharisees began to [vigorously] urge [Jesus,] & to provoke Him to [talk about] many things. Laying [in] wait for [Jesus,] [in order] to catch something [He] [said,] [so,] that they might accuse [Jesus.]
