About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 13:1-35 Some are Angry that Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

Some are Angry that Jesus Heals on the Sabbath

Luke 13:1-35          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

At that season, there were some present, [who] told [Jesus about] the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate [mixed] with their sacrifices. And answering, Jesus said to them, You suppose that these Galilaeans, [a.k.a. Galileans,] were sinners [more than] all the [Galileans,] because they suffered such things.

I tell you, [No,] but, [unless] you repent, you all shall [also] perish. Or [do] you think that [those] 18, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, & [killed] them, were sinners [more than] all men, [who lived] in Jerusalem? I tell you, [No,] but, [unless] you repent, you all shall [also] perish.

*[Jesus] also [spoke] this parable.  [Psalm 78:1-4 [Listen,] O My people, to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old, [that] we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] the praises of the Lord, His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a.miracles,] He has done, to the generation to come.]

A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard. And he came [looked for] fruit upon it, & found none. Then, he said to the [keeper] of his vineyard, [Look,] I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree these 3 years, & [found] none. Cut it down. Why [does] it [hinder] the ground?

And answering, he said to him, Lord, [a.k.a. Master,] let it alone this year also, [until] I dig [around] it, & [fertilize] it. And if it [produces] fruit, [great,] & if not, then you shall cut it down after that.

And [Jesus] was teaching in 1 of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And, [saw] there was a woman, [who] had a spirit of infirmity 18 years, & was [bent over,] & was [unable] to lift herself up. *And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, & said to her, Woman, you are [loosened, a.k.a. released,] from your infirmity.

*And [Jesus] laid His hands on her: & immediately she was made straight, & glorified God. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a deer.] And the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And the ruler [in charge] over the synagogue answered [indignantly,] because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath Day. And [the ruler over the synagogue] said to the people, There are 6 days in which men ought to work: [during] them. Therefore, come & be healed, [but] not on the Sabbath Day.

Then, the Lord answered him, & said, You hypocrite, [a.k.a. someone who says 1 thing & does another,] Don't each of you [loosen] his ox or his [mule] on the Sabbath, from the stall, & lead him away to [the] watering [trough?]

*And [shouldn't] this woman, [who] [is] a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, [all] these 18 years, be [released] from this [burden] on the Sabbath day? And when [Jesus] had said these things, all His [enemies] were ashamed. And all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by [Jesus.]

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who [heals] all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

Then, [Jesus said, [To] what is the Kingdom of God like, [a.k.a. similar to?] And [to what] shall I [compare] it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, [that] a man took, & [threw] into his garden. And it grew, & [became] a [large] tree; & the [birds] of the air lodged in [its] branches.

And again, [Jesus] said, [To what] shall I [compare] the Kingdom of God? It is like leaven, [a.k.a. yeast,] which a woman took, & hid in 3 measures of meal, [a.k.a. flour, until] the whole [dough] was leavened.

And [Jesus] went through the cities & villages, teaching, [making His way,] toward Jerusalem. Then, [someone] said to Him, Lord, are there few, [who are] saved? And [Jesus] said to them, [Work hard] to enter in at the [narrow] gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in, & shall not be able [to.]

When the master of the house [has previously] risen up, & [has] shut the door, & you begin to stand [outside,] & knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. And He shall answer, & say to you, I [don't] know [where] you are [from.]

[Revelation 22:11-15 He, [who] is unjust, let him still be unjust. And he, [who] is filthy, let him still be filthy. And he, [who] is righteous, let him still be righteous. And he, [who] is holy, let him still be holy. *And [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me & shall be to give every man according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.]

I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last. Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside,] are: dogs, sorcerers, [sexual traffickers,] murderers, idolaters, & [whoever] loves & makes [up lies.]

Then, you shall begin to say, We have eaten & drunk in Your presence, & You have taught in our streets. But He shall say, I tell you, I [don't] know [where] you are [from.] Depart from Me, all you workers of [sinfulness.]

Weeping & gnashing of teeth shall be there, when you shall see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, & all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, & you, yourselves [are] [thrown] out.

And they shall come from: the East, West, North, & South, & shall sit down in the Kingdom of God. [Revelation 7:9-10 After this, I [looked] & [saw,] a [large] multitude, which no man could [count,] from all: nations, [families,] people, & [languages,] stood [in front of] the throne, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands, before the Lamb. And [they] cried [out] with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God, [Who] sits upon the throne & to the Lamb.]

And, [watch, those, who] are last, shall be first. And [those, who] are first, shall be last. [Some] of the Pharisees came there the same day, saying, You, get out, & [leave from here.] For [king] Herod will kill You.

And *[Jesus] said to them, You, go & tell that fox, [See,] I cast out [demons,] & today & tomorrow, I [cure.] [Isaiah 20:18-20 *And [on] that day, the deaf shall hear the Words of the Book, & the eyes of the blind shall see out of [cloudiness,] & out of darkness. Also, the meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men, shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to [nothing,] & the scorner is consumed, [a.k.a. destroyed.] And all [who] watch for [opportunities for] [sinfulness,] are cut off.]

*And the third day, I will be perfected. [Luke 24:45-48 *Then, [Jesus] opened their understanding, [so] that they might understand the Scriptures, & said to them, [Like this] it is written, & [like this,] it [was necessary for] Christ to suffer, & to rise from the dead, the third day.

[So,] that repentance & remission, [a.k.a. forgiveness,] of sins should be preached in His Name, among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things.]

[Still,] I must walk today, & tomorrow, & the following day. For it can't be that a prophet [perishes] out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [who kills] the prophets, & [stones those, who] are sent to [warn] you.

How often I would have gathered your children together, [like] a hen [gathers] her brood, [a.k.a. young,] under her wings, & you would not! *[Look,] your house is left to you desolate.

*And [truly,] I say to you, You shall not see Me, until the time [comes] when you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. [Psalm 118:26 *Blessed [is] He, [Who comes] in the Name of the Lord. We have blessed You out of the house of the Lord.]
