About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Nahum 1:1-15 The Vision About Nineveh

The Vision About Nineveh

Nahum 1:1-15         The Book of Nahum [in Smaller Chunks]

The book of the vision of Nahum, the Elkoshite. The burden, [a.k.a. vision,] [against] Nineveh. God is jealous & the Lord revenges, [a.k.a. gets revenge.] The Lord [avenges] & is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, & reserves [anger] for His enemies.

[Exodus 20:4-6 You shall not make [for yourself] any [carved] image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth [below,] or that is in the water under the earth.

You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For, I, the Lord your God, Am a jealous God, visiting the [sin] of the fathers upon the children, [until] the 3rd & 4th generation of [those, who] hate Me, & showing mercy to 1,000's of [those, who] love Me, & keep My commandments.]

The Lord is slow to anger; great in power; & won't at all acquit, [a.k.a. find innocent,] the wicked. In the whirlwind & in the storm, the Lord has His [path] & the clouds are the dust [from] His feet. [Psalm 103:6-10 The Lord [carries out] righteousness & [justice] for all, [who] are oppressed.

He makes His ways, [a.k.a. paths.] known to Moses, & His [actions] [known] to the children [people] of Israel. The Lord is merciful; gracious, slow to anger, & [has] [abundant] mercy.

He will not always [scold,] & neither will He keep His anger forever. He hasn't dealt with us, [according] [to what] our sins [deserve.] Nor [has He] rewarded, [a.k.a. paid us back,] according to our [sinfulness.]

He [scolds] the sea, & makes it dry, & dries up all the rivers. Bashan [withers] & Carmel & the flower of Lebanon, [grow weak.] [Matthew 8:24-27 Therefore, I will [compare, whoever] hears these sayings of Mine, & does them, to a wise man, [who] built his house upon a rock. And the rains [came down,] & floods came. And the winds blew & beat upon the house, & it [didn't fall.] For it was founded, [a.k.a. established] upon a rock.

And everyone, [who] hears these sayings of Mine, & [doesn't do] them, shall be [compared] to a foolish man, [who] built his house upon the sand. And the rain [came down,] & the floods came. And the winds blew & beat upon that house, & it fell. And the fall of it was great, [a.k.a. enormous.]

The mountains quake at Him, & the hills melt. And the earth is burned at His presence. [Yes,] & the world, & all, [who] dwell [in it.] [Exodus 19:18-20 And Mount Sinai, [a.k.a. Mount Horeb,] was [totally] smoke, because the Lord [went down] upon it in fire & [its] smoke [went up like] the smoke of a furnace.

And the whole Mount quaked. And when the [sound] of the trumpet [blared] long, & [grew] louder & louder. Moses [spoke,] & God answered him [with] a voice. And the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on top of the Mount. And the Lord called Moses up to the top of the Mount & Moses went up.]

Who can stand still [in front of] His indignation? And who can [endure] the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, & the rocks are thrown down by Him. [Malachi 3:2-3 But who may [endure] the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears?

For He is like a refiner's fire, & like a [launderer's soap.] And He shall sit [like] a refiner & purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, & purge, [a.k.a. remove,] [impurities from] them [like] [from] gold & silver, [so] that they may offer to the Lord [sacrifices] in righteousness.]

The Lord is good, a stronghold, [a.k.a. a refuge, on] the day of trouble. And He knows [those, who] trust in Him. [Romans 10:7-9 But what [does] it say? The Word is [near] you, even in your mouth, & in your heart.

That is, the Word of faith, which we preach: [so] that if you shall confess with your mouth: the Lord Jesus, & shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

For with the heart, man believes [which leads] to righteousness. And with the mouth, confession is made, [which leads] to Salvation.]

But with an [overflowing] flood, He will make a [total] end of the place [of Nineveh.] And darkness shall pursue His enemies. What [plots] do you imagine against the Lord. Affliction shall not rise up a 2nd time, & He will make a [total] end.

[Isaiah 8:7-8 Therefore, now [look,] the Lord brings the many, strong waters of the river, upon them, even [Assyria's] king, & all his glory. And he shall come up over all his [canals] & go over all his [river] banks.

And he shall [cross] through Judah. And he shall overflow & go over. He shall even reach to the neck. And the [out stretching] of his wings, shall fill the breadth of your land, O [Emmanuel.]

For while they: [are intertwined] together [like] thorns, & are [drunk like] drunkards, they shall be devoured [like: totally] dry stubble. [Malachi 4:1 For, [watch,] the day comes, that shall burn [like] an oven. And all the proud, [yes,] & all [who] do wickedly, shall be stubble. And the day comes that shall burn them up, &  it shall leave them neither root nor branch, says the Lord of Hosts.]

There is [someone,] [from] you, a wicked [advisor, comes, who plots] evil against the Lord. [Matthew 26:14-16 *Then, 1 of the 12, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests.

And said to them, What will you give me, & I will deliver Him to you? And they [contracted] with him, for 30 pieces of silver. And from that time, [Judas] sought [an] opportunity to betray Him.]

The Lord says [this; Although] they [are] quiet & [also] [are] many, [still,] they shall be cut down [like] [this,] when he shall [cross] through. [Although] I have afflicted you, I will no [longer] afflict you.

[Ezekiel 28:25-26 The Lord God says [this;] When I have gathered the house of Israel from the people, among whom they are scattered & [through] them, [I] shall be sanctified in the sight of the heathen, then they shall dwell in their land, that I have given to My servant Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel.]

And they shall dwell safely [there,] & shall build houses & plant vineyards. [Yes,] they shall dwell with confidence, when I have [carried out] judgments upon all those, [who] despise them, [all around] them. And they shall know that I Am the Lord their God.]

For I will now break off his yoke, [a.k.a. burden, or oppression,] from you & will burst your [chains to pieces.] And, the Lord has given a commandment, [about] you, That no more of your [seed, with] your name [shall] be sown, [a.k.a. scattered, in] the house of your gods.

I will cut off the [carved images] & the [molded images.] I will make your grave, for you are vile, [a.k.a. repulsive.] [1 Kings 14:9 But [you] have done evil above all, [who] were before you. For you have gone & made [yourself] other gods, & [molded] images, to provoke Me to anger, & [have thrown] Me behind your back.]

[Look,] upon the mountains, O Judah, & [on] the feet of him, [who] brings good [news, who declares] peace! [Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, [unless] they [are] sent? [Like] it is written, [in the Scriptures,] How beautiful are the feet of [those, who] preach the gospel of peace, & bring glad [news] of good things!]

Keep your solemn feasts, & [carry out] your vows. For the wicked shall no [longer cross] through you. They [are totally] cut off.

Micah 7:1-20 When I Sit in Darkness, the Lord Shall Be a Light to Me

When I Sit in Darkness, the Lord Shall Be a Light to Me

Micah 7:1-20         The Book of Micah [in Smaller Chunks]

Woe is me! For there is no cluster [of grapes] to eat. My soul desired the first ripe fruit. For I am [like] when they have gathered: the summer fruits & [the grapes for gleaning from] the vintage.

[Jeremiah 11:9-13 And the Lord said to me, A conspiracy is found among the: men of Judah & [Jerusalem's] inhabitants. They [have returned] back to the [sins] of their [forefathers, who] refused to hear My Words. And they went after other gods to serve them.

The [houses] of: Israel; & Judah have broken My covenant [contract, that] I made with their [forefathers.] Therefore, The Lord said [this; Look,] I will bring [calamity] upon them, [that] they shall not be able to escape.

And [although] they shall cry [out] to Me, I won't [listen] to them. Then the cities of: Judah & [Jerusalem's] inhabitants shall go & cry [out] to the gods, unto whom they offer incense. But they shall not save them, at all, in their time of trouble.

For your gods, O Judah, were according to the number of your cities. And         O Judah, you [put] up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal, according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem.]

The good man [has] perished [from off] the earth. And there [are] none [honest,] among men. They all lie in wait, [a.k.a. to ambush,] for [bloodshed.] Every man [hunts] his brother with a net. [Psalm 12:1 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceases. For the faithful, fail [to exist] from among the children of men.]

[So,] that they may do evil, the prince & the judge asks for a reward, [a.k.a. bribes,] with both hands [out.] And the [important] man, [expresses] his mischievous, [a.k.a. wicked,] desire, so they [may accomplish it.]

The best of them [are like a sticker bush. The most [honest] is sharper than a [hedge's] thorn. The day of the [watchman, a.k.a. guard,] & the visitation, [a.k.a punishment,] come. Now, [they] shall be [perplexed.]

[Don't] you trust in a friend & [don't] put your confidence in a guide. Keep the doors of your mouth, [shut tight] from her, [who] lies [on] your [chest.] [Jeremiah 9:5 And everyone [of them,] will deceive his neighbor, & won't speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies, & [tire] themselves [by committing] [what is:] [sinful.]

For the son dishonors the father. And the daughter rises up against her mother, & the daughter-in-law against her mother -in-law. A man's enemies are the men of his own house.

[Matthew 10:35-36 * For I [have] come to [put] a man at [odds] against his father. And the daughter against her mother, & the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foe's are of his own household.

Therefore, I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the God of my Salvation & my God will hear me. [Don't] rejoice against me, O enemy [of] mine. When I fall, I shall arise. When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a Light to me.

[1 John 1:6-7 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, & walk in darkness, we lie, & don't [have] the Truth. But if we walk in the Light [like] He is in the LIght, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.]

I will [endure] the indignation of the Lord, until He pleads my [case] & [carries out] judgment, because I have sinned against Him. He will bring me [out] to the Light, & I will [see] His Righteousness.

[2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Then, we are now ambassadors for Christ, as though God did [urge] you, [through] us. We pray [for] you [on] Christ's [behalf, so] you [are] reconciled to God. For [God] has made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin, [so] that we might be made the righteousness of God [through] Him.]

Then, she, who is my enemy, shall see it, & shame shall cover her, [who] said to me, Where is the Lord your God? [My] eyes shall [see] her. Now, she shall be [trampled] down [like] the [mud] in the streets.

[Psalm 109:29-30 Let my [enemies] be clothed with shame, & let them cover themselves with their own confusion, [like] with a [coat.] I will praise the Lord greatly with my mouth. [Yes,] I will praise Him among the multitude.]

[On] the day that your walls are to be [rebuilt,] the decree shall be far removed [on] that day. [Amos 9:11 *[On] that day, I will raise up the tabernacle of David, that [has] fallen, & close up [its broken places.] And I will raise up [its] ruins, & I will [rebuild] it [like] in the days of old.]

Also, he shall come [on] that day, even to you from Assyria & from the fortified cities. And from the fortress, even to the [Euphrates] River, & from the sea to sea, & from mountain to mountain.

[Isaiah 19:23-25 [On] that day, there shall be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria. And the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, & the Egyptian [shall come] into Assyria. And the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

[On] that day, Israel shall be the 3rd with Egypt & with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the Lord of Hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed [are] Egypt, My people, & Assyria, the work of My hands, & Israel, [My] inheritance.]

[Still,] the land shall be desolate, because of [those, who] dwell [in it,] for the fruit [produced from] their [actions.] [Isaiah 3:10-11 You, say to the righteous, that it shall [go] well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their [actions.] Woe to the wicked! It shall [go badly for] him. For the reward of his hands shall be given [to] him.]

Feed the flock of Your heritage, Your people, [who] dwell [alone] in the [woods] in the midst of Carmel, with Your Rod. Let them [eat] in Bashan & Gilead, [like] in the days of old.

[Isaiah 11:1-4 *And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, & a Branch shall grow out of his roots. *And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. The Spirit of wisdom & understanding. The Spirit of [advice] & [strength.] The Spirit of knowledge & of the fear [respect] of the Lord.

And [immediately] shall make Him of understanding in the fear [respect] of the Lord. And He shall not judge, [according to] the sight of His eyes. Neither [shall He] [correct, according] [to what] His ears, [hear.]

But He shall judge the poor with righteousness, & repay the [humble] of the earth with equity. And He shall [strike] the earth with the rod of His mouth, & He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.]

I will [declare] marvelous things [a.k.a. miracles,] to him, according to your days of coming out of the land of Egypt. [Psalm 105:26-43 He sent Moses, His servant, & Aaron, whom He had chosen. They [declared] His signs & wonders, among them in the land of Ham.

He sent darkness, & made it dark. And they [didn't refuse to obey] His Word. He turned their waters into blood, & [killed] their fish. Their land brought [out] frogs in abundance, in the [rooms] of their kings.

He [spoke,] & [various] sorts of flies & lice came there, in all their coasts. He gave them hail, [instead of] rain, & flaming fire, [a.k.a.  lightning,] in their land. He [struck] their vines & also their fig trees; & [broke] the trees of their coasts. He [spoke] & the locusts & caterpillars came, without number.

And [they] [ate] up all the [vegetation] in their land, & devoured the fruit of their ground. He also [killed] all the firstborn in their land, the [best] of all their strength. He also brought them [out] with silver & gold. And there wasn't 1 feeble person among their tribes.

Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon [the Egyptians.] He spread a cloud for a covering, & fire to give light in the night. The people asked, & He brought quails, & satisfied them with the bread of heaven, [a.k.a. manna.]

He opened the rock, & the waters gushed out, & [these] ran in the dry places like a river.] For he remembered His Holy promise, & Abraham, His servant. And He brought His people [out] with joy, & His chosen with gladness.]

The nations shall see & be [astonished.] [Psalm 28:7 Lord is my strength & my shield. My heart trusted in Him, & I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly rejoices. And I will praise Him with my song.]

At all their [strength,] they shall [cover] their hand [over] their mouth, & their ears shall be deaf. [Job 21:5 [Look at] Me, & be astonished & lay your hand [over] your mouth.]

They shall lick [up] the dust like a [snake.] They shall move out of their holes like worms [in] the [ground.] They shall be afraid of the Lord our God, & shall [be] [fearful,] because of You.

Who is a God [similar] to You, [Who] pardons [sin] & passes by the transgression of the [rest] of His heritage? He [doesn't hold on to] His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.

[Isaiah 55:6-7 You, seek the Lord while He may be found, & you, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked [abandon] his [ways,] & the unrighteous man [abandon] his thoughts. And let him return to the Lord, & He will have mercy upon him & [return] to our God, for He will pardon abundantly.]

He will [return] again, & He will have compassion on us. He will subdue our [sinfulness.] And You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. [Isaiah 44:7-8 For a small moment, I have [abandoned] you; but with great mercies I will gather you. In a little [anger,] I hid My face from you for a moment; but I will have mercy on you with everlasting kindness, says the Lord your Redeemer.]

You will perform the Truth to Jacob, & the mercy to Abraham, [that] You [had sworn] to our [forefathers] from the days of old. [Isaiah 42:5-7 The Lord God says [this;] He, [Who] created the heavens, & stretched them out.

He, [Who] spread [out] the earth, & [what grows] out of it. He, [Who] gives breath to the people upon it, & spirit to [those, who follow] therein. In Righteousness, I the Lord have called You, & will hold Your hand & give You for a Covenant [contract] of the people, & for a Light to the Gentiles.]

Micah 6:1-16 The Lord Pleads His Case to Israel

The Lord Pleads His Case to Israel

Micah 6:1-16         The Book of Micah [in Smaller Chunks]

You, now hear what the Lord says; Arise & [plead your case in front of] the mountains, & let the hills hear your voice. O you mountains, & strong foundations of the earth, hear the Lord's controversy, [a.k.a. dispute.] For the Lord has a [dispute] with His people, & He will plead with Israel.

[Isaiah 1:16-18 Wash [yourselves] & make [yourself] clean. Put away the evil of your [actions] from [in front of My] eyes & [stop from doing] [what is] evil. Learn to do well; & seek: [justice,] relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, & plead for the widow.

Come now, & let's reason together, says the Lord. [Although] your sins [are like] scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. [Although] they [are] red like crimson, they shall be [white] [like] wool.]

O My people, what have I done to you? And [for what reason,] have I [tired] you? Testify against Me. [Isaiah 43:22-24 But you haven't called upon Me, O Jacob. But you have been [tired] of Me, O Israel. You haven't brought Me the small [livestock for] your burnt offerings; & neither have you honored Me with your sacrifices.

I haven't [made] you to serve with an offering, nor [tired] you with [bringing] incense. You haven't brought Me [any] sweet [sugar] cane with money, & neither have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices. But you have made Me to [put up] with your sins. You have wearied Me with your [sinfulness.]

For, I brought you up, out of the land of Egypt, & redeemed you [from] the house of servants. And I sent Moses, Aaron, & Miriam [in front of] you.

O My people, remember now what Balak, [Moab's] king, [requested] & what Balaam, [Beor's] son, answered him from Shittim, [all the way] to Gilgal; [so] that you may know the righteousness of the Lord.

[Joshua 24:9-10 Then, Balak, [Zippor's] son, [Moab's] king, arose & [fought] against Israel, & sent & called Balaam, [Beor's] son, to curse you. But I wouldn't [listen] to Balaam. Therefore, he still blessed you. So, I delivered you out of his hand.]

[For what reason] shall I come before the Lord & bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, & with [1] year old calves? Will the Lord be pleased with 1,000's off rams, or with 10,000 rivers of oil?

Shall I give my firstborn for my [sinfulness,] the fruit of my body, for the sin of my soul? [1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings & sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? [See,] to obey is better than sacrifice, & to [listen] is better than the fat of rams.]

O man, He has [declared to] you, what is good. And what does the Lord require [from] you, [only] to do justly; to love mercy, & to walk humbly with your God? The Lord's voice cries [out] to the city, & the man [with] wisdom shall see Your Name. You, hear the Rod, & Who has appointed it.

[Isaiah 11:1-4 *And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, & a Branch shall grow out of his roots. *And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him: the Spirit of wisdom & understanding; the Spirit of [advice] & [strength;] & the Spirit of knowledge & the fear [respect] of the Lord.

And shall [immediately] make Him of understanding in the fear [respect] of the Lord. And He shall not judge, [according to] the sight of His eyes, & neither [correct according] [to what] His ears [hear.]

But He shall judge the poor with righteousness, & [repay] the [humble] of the earth with equity. And He shall [strike] the earth with the Rod of His mouth, & He shall slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.]

Are there [still] treasures in the house of wicked [from] wickedness? And the scant, [a.k.a. reduced, measurement,] that is abominable? [Amos 8:4-6 O you, [who] swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail. Hear this saying, When will the New Moon be [over, so] that we may sell [grain?]

And [when will] the Sabbath [be over, so] that we may [put out] the wheat, making the ephah [smaller,] & the shekel [larger,] & [falsify] the balances, [a.k.a. scales,] by deceit? [So] that we may buy the poor for silver, & the needy for a pair of shoes. [Yes,] & sell the [inferior] wheat?]

Shall I [consider those who] [have] the wicked balances, with a bag of deceitful weights, pure? For [its] rich men are full  of violence, & [its] inhabitants have spoken lies. And their tongue in their mouth is deceitful.

[Isaiah 1:23-24 Your silver [has] become [scum,] & your wine [is] mixed with water. Your princes are rebellious, & companions of thieves. Everyone loves gifts, [a.k.a. bribes,] & follows after rewards. They [don't] judge the fatherless, & neither [does] the [case] of the widow come to them.]

Therefore, I will also make you sick [by] [striking] you, & making you desolate, because of your sins. [Ezekiel 23:37-39 They have committed adultery & blood is [on] their hands. And they have committed adultery with their idols.

And have also caused their sons, whom they [bore] to Me, to pass through the fire, to devour them, for [idols.] [Additionally,] they have done [this] to Me. They have defiled My sanctuary [on] the same day, & have profaned My Sabbaths.

For when they had [sacrificed] their children to their idols, then they came the same day into My sanctuary to profane it. And, [look] they have done [this] in the midst of [My] house.]

You shall eat, but not be satisfied. And your casting down, shall be in the midst of you. And you shall take hold, but shall not [be] [delivered.] And [those, who] you deliver, I will give up to the sword. [Isaiah 24:17-18 Fear, the pit, & the [trap,] are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.

And it shall [happen] that he who flees from the noise of the fear, shall fall into the pit. And he, [who] comes up, out of the [middle] of the pit, shall be taken in the [trap.] For the windows from on high are open & the foundations of the earth shake.]

You shall sow [seed,] but you shall not [harvest.] You shall [trample] the olives, but you shall not anoint [yourself] with oil. And you shall [trample the grapes for your] sweet wine, but shall not drink wine.

[Amos 5:11-12 Therefore, [since you trample] upon the poor, & you take from him burdens, [a.k.a. loads,] of wheat, you have built houses of [cut] stone, but you shall not [live] in them.

You have planted [nice] vineyards, but you shall not drink wine [from] them. For I know your [many] transgressions & your mighty sins. They afflict the just, & they take a bribe, & they turn aside the poor in the gate, from their [rights.]

For the [mandates] of Omri are kept. [1 Kings 16:25-26 But Omri, [brought about] evil in the eyes of the Lord, & did worse than all, [who] were before him. For [Omri followed] in all the [ways] of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, & in his [sins with which] he made Israel to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger, with their vanities, [a.k.a. idols.]

And the works of the house of Ahab, & you [follow] their [advice; so] that I should make you [desolate] & inhabitants [that are hissed at.] [1 Kings 16:30-33 And Ahab, [Omri's] son, did evil in the sight of the Lord, above all, [who] were before him.

And it [happened,] as if it had been [a little] thing for him to [follow] in the sins of Jeroboam, [Nebat's] son, that [Ahab,] took to [marry,] Jezebel, the daughter of Ethbaal, the [Zidonian's] king, & went & served Baal, & worshiped him.

And [Ahab put] up an altar for Baal, in the house of Baal, that he had built in Samaria. And Ahab made a grove. And Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel, [who] were before him.]

[For these reasons,] you shall bear the [disgrace] of My people.
