About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Matthew 14:1-36 Jesus Feeds the Multitudes

Jesus Feeds the Multitudes

Matthew 14:1-36    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

At that time, Herod, the tetrarch, [a.k.a. monarch,] heard [about] the fame of Jesus, & said to his servants, This is John the Baptist, [who] has risen from the dead, & [that's why,] mighty works, [a.k.a. Miracles, display] themselves in him. [John 10:39-42 Therefore, they sought again to [seize Jesus.]

But He escaped [from] their [hands,] & went away again, beyond Jordan, into the place where John 1st baptized; and [Jesus stayed] there. And many [visited Jesus,] & said, John did no [miracles:] but all things that John [spoke] of this Man were true. And many believed [in Jesus] there.]

For Herod had [seized] John, & bound him, & put him in prison for his brother Phillip's wife, Herodias' sake. For John said to [Herod,] It isn't lawful for you to have her. And when [Herod] would have put [John the Baptist] to death, he feared the multitude, because they [considered John,] a prophet.

But when Herod's birthday was [celebrated, Herodias'] daughter danced [in front of] them, & pleased Herod. [For this reason, Herod] promised with an oath, to give her [whatever] she [asked] [for.]

And being [previously] instructed [by] her mother, she said, Give me John [the] Baptist's head here [on] a charger, [a.k.a. platter.] And the king was sorry: [however] for the oath's sake, & [those, who] sat with [Herod] at [dinner,] he commanded it to be given [to] her.

And [Herod] sent, & [had] John beheaded in the prison. And [John's] head was brought [on] a charger, & given to the damsel. And she brought it to her mother. And [John's] disciples came, & took up the body, & buried it, & went & told Jesus.

When Jesus heard of it, He departed [from there] by ship, into a [deserted] place, [alone.] And when the people had heard [of it,] they followed [Jesus] out of the cities on foot. *And Jesus went [out,] & saw a [large] multitude, & was moved with compassion toward them, & He healed their sick.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *O my soul, bless the Lord, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who forgives all your [sins;] & Who heals all your diseases. Who redeems your life from destruction, & Who crowns you with loving kindness, & tender mercies.]

And when it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, This is a [deserted] place, & the time is now past, [a.k.a. over.] Send the multitude away, [so] that they may go into the villages, & buy themselves [food.] But Jesus said  to them. They needn't depart. You, give them [something] to eat.

And they [said] to [Jesus,] We [only] have here 5 loaves, & 2 [fish.] [Jesus] said, Bring them [here] to Me. And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass. And He took the 5 loaves, & 2 [fish,] & looking up to heaven, blessed & [broke,] & gave the loaves to His disciples.

And the disciples [gave food] to the multitude. And they all [ate,] & were filled. And they [collected] 12 full baskets of fragments that remained. And [those, who] had eaten were about 5,000 men, beside women & children.

And [immediately,] Jesus [compelled] His disciples to get into a ship, & to go [ahead of] Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up into a [secluded] mountain, to pray. And He was there alone when the evening [had] come.

But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary, [a.k.a. uncooperative.] And in the [night's] 4th watch, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It's a spirit. And they cried out [with] fear.

But [immediately,] Jesus [spoke] to them, saying, It is I, be of good cheer, & [don't] be afraid. And Peter answered Him & said, Lord, if [it's] You, [request] me [to] come to You on the water. And [Jesus] said, Come. And when Peter [had] come down, out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

But when [Peter] saw the wind [was] boisterous, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, [Peter] cried [out] saying, Lord, save me. And immediately, Jesus stretched [out] His hand, & caught [Peter,] & said to him, O you of little faith, [why] did you doubt?

And when they [had] come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then, [those, who] were in the ship came & worshiped [Jesus,] saying, [Truthfully,] You [are] the Son of God.

And when they [had crossed] over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place [were aware] of [Jesus,] they sent out into all that country [all around,] & brought all, [who] were diseased to Him. And [urged Jesus] that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many, [who] touched [it,] were made perfectly whole.

Matthew 13:1-58 Jesus Speaks from a Ship in Parables to the Multitudes on the Shore

Jesus Speaks from a Ship in Parables to the Multitudes on the Shore

Matthew 13:1-58    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

Jesus went out of the house the same day, & sat by the seaside. And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He went into a ship, & sat. And the whole multitude stood on the shore. And He [spoke] many things to them in parables.

Saying, [See,] a sower, [a.k.a. farmer,] went [out] to sow. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the [road] side, & the [birds] came & devoured them up. Some fell upon [rocky] places, where they [didn't have] much [ground.] And [immediately] they [sprang] up, because they had no deepness of [soil.]

And when the sun was up, they were scorched. And they withered away, because they had no root. And some fell among thorns, & the thorns sprung up, & choked them. But [others] fell into good ground, & [produced] fruit, some 100 fold, some 60 fold, & some 30 fold. Who has ears to hear, let him hear.

And the disciples came & said to Him, Whey [do] You speak to them in parables? He answered & said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but it isn't given to them.

[Matthew 11:25 At that time, Jesus answered & said, O Father, I thank You, Lord of heaven & earth, because You [have hidden] these things from the wise & [shrewd,] & [have] revealed them to babes.

For [whoever] has, to him shall be given, & he shall have more abundance. But [whoever] has not, from him shall be taken away, even [what] he [has.] Therefore, I speak to them in parables: because they [who are] seeing, [don't] see; & hearing, [don't] hear, & neither do they understand.

*And in them the prophecy of [Isaiah] is fulfilled. [who said,] By hearing, you shall hear, & shall not understand; & seeing, you shall see, & not perceive, [a.k.a. recognize.] [Isaiah 6:9-10 *And [the Lord] said, Go, & tell this people, Indeed you hear, but [don't] understand; & you indeed see, but don't perceive. *Make the [hearts] of this people fat, & make their ears heavy, lest they see with their eyes, & hear with their ears, & understand with their heart, & convert, & [are] healed.]

For this people's heart [has grown [coarse,] & their ears are [hard] of hearing, & they have closed their eyes; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, & hear with their ears, & should understand with their heart, & should be converted, & I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: & your ears, for they hear. For [truly] I say to you, That many prophets & righteous men have desired to see those things, [that] you see, & haven't seen them; & to hear those things, [that] you hear, & haven't heard them.

Therefore, you, hear the parable of the sower. When anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom, & [doesn't] understand it, then the wicked one comes, & [snatches] away, [what] was sown in his heart. This is he, [who] received seed by the [road] side.

But he, [who] received the seed into [rocky] places, the same is he, [who] hears the Word, & receives it [briefly] with joy. [Still,] he [doesn't] have root [within] himself, but [endures] for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises, because of the Word, he is offended by & by.

He, [who] also received seed among the thorns, is he, [who hears] the Word; & the [cares] of this world, & the deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word, & he becomes [unproductive.]

But, he, [who] received seed into the good ground, is he, [who] hears the Word, & understands it, & [who] also [bears] fruit, & [produces,] some 100 fold, some 60 [fold]& some 30 [fold.]

[Jesus] put [out] another parable to them, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to a man, [who] sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept, his enemy came & sowed tares, [a.k.a. weeds,] among the wheat, & went [on] his way.

But when the [blades had] sprung up, & [produced] fruit, then the [weeds] also appeared. So, the servants of the [house owner] came & said to him, Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Then, from [where] has it [weeds?] He said to them, An enemy [has] done this.

The servants said to him, Then, [do] you [want] that we go & gather them up? But he said, [No,] lest while you gather up the [weeds,] you also [uproot] the wheat with them. Let both grow together, until the harvest.

And [during] the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, You, gather together 1st the [weeds,] & [tie] them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn.

He put [out] another parable to them, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to a grain of mustard seed, [that] a man took, & sowed in his field: which indeed is the least, [a.k.a. smallest] of all seeds, but when it is grown, it is the [largest] among herbs, & becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come & lodge in [its] branches.

And He [spoke] another parable to them; The Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to leaven, [a.k.a. yeast,] which a woman took, & hid [it] in 3 measures of meal, [a.k.a. flour, or cornmeal, until] the whole [dough] was leavened.

Jesus [spoke] all these things to the multitude in parables, & He [didn't speak] without a parable to them, *[So] that it might be fulfilled, [what] was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open My mouth in parables; & I will utter things [that] have been kept secret [since] the foundation of the world.

[Psalm 78:1-2 O My people, give ear, [a.k.a. listen,] to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable: & I will utter dark sayings of old.]

Then, Jesus sent the multitude away, & went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Declare to us the parable of the [weeds in] the field. He answered & said to them, The Son of Man is He, [who sows] the good seed. The field is the world; & the good seed are the children [people] of the kingdom.

But the tares, [a.k.a. weeds,] are the children [people] of the wicked one. The enemy, [who] sowed them, is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world; & the reapers are the Angels.

[Revelation 14:18-19 And another Angel came out from the altar, [who] had power over fire; & cried [out] with a loud [out] cry to him, [who] had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, & gather the clusters of the vine [from] the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the Angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, & gathered the vine [from] the earth, & cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.]

Therefore, [like] the [weeds] are gathered & burned in the fire, so shall it be [at] the end of this world. The Son of Man shall send [out] His Angels, & they shall gather [from] His kingdom all things that offend, & [those who] do iniquity, [a.k.a wickedness.]

[Proverbs 24:19-20 [Don't worry] yourself, because of evil men, & neither [should] you be envious [of] the wicked. For there shall be no reward to the evil man, & the candle of the wicked shall be put out.]

The Son of Man shall send [out] His Angels, & they shall gather out of His Kingdom, all things that offend, & [those who] do [wickedly.] [Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, [powerless] & [powerful,] stand [in front of] God.

And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things [that] were written in the books, according to their works, [a.k.a. deeds.] And the sea gave up the dead, which were in it. And Death & Hell delivered up the dead, which were in them.

And every man [was] judged, according to their [deeds.] And Death & Hell were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the 2nd death. And [whoever] wasn't found written in the Book of Life, was cast into the Lake of Fire.]

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire; & there shall be wailing & gnashing of teeth. Then, the righteous shall shine [out like] the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to treasure [hidden] in a field; which when a man has found [it,] he [hides] [it,] & for joy [of it, goes] & [sells] all that he [has,] & [buys] that field.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to a merchant man, seeking [beautiful] pearls. Who, when he had found 1 pearl of great [value,] went & sold all that he had, & bought it.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is [similar] to a net, & gathered of every kind. Which, when [the net] was full, they drew [it] to shore, & sat down, & gathered the good into vessels, but cast away the bad. It shall be so at the end of the world.

The Angels shall come [out,] & sever, [a.k.a. cut off,] the wicked, from among the just, & shall cast them into the furnace of fire. There shall be wailing & gnashing of teeth.

Jesus [asked] them, Have you understood all these things? They [said] to Him, [Yes,] Lord. Then, He said to them, Therefore, every scribe, [who] is instructed [until] the Kingdom of heaven, is [similar] to a man, [who] is a [house owner, who] brings new & old things out of his treasure.

And it [happened,] that when Jesus had finished these parables, He [left from there.] And when He [had] come into His Own country, He taught them in their synagogue, [in] that, they were astonished, & said, [From where has] this Man, this wisdom, & these mighty works, [a.k.a. Miracles?]

Isn't this the carpenter's Son? Isn't His mother called Mary? And His brethren, [a.k.a. brothers,] [aren't they:] James; Joses, [a.k.a. Joseph or John;] Simon; & Judas? And His sisters, aren't they all with us? [From where] then, [has] this Man all these things?

[Matthew 11:2-5 Now, when in the prison, John [the Baptist,] had heard the works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] of Christ, he sent 2 of his disciples. And [they] said to Him, [Are] You, He, [Who] should come, or do we look for another?

Jesus answered & said to them, *Go & [declare to] John again, those things which you hear & see. The blind receive their sight, & the lame walk. The lepers are cleansed, & the deaf hear. The dead are raised up, & the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And they were offended [with] Him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet isn't without honor, [except] in His Own country, & in His Own house. And He didn't [do] many mighty works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] there, because of their unbelief.

Matthew 12:1-50 Jesus & the Disciples Ate Ears of Corn in the Field on the Sabbath

Jesus & the Disciples Ate Ears of Corn in the Field on the Sabbath

Matthew 12:1-50    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

At that time, Jesus & His disciples were [hungry] & went through the corn on the Sabbath Day & began to pluck & eat the ears of corn. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to [Jesus,] Your disciples do [what] isn't lawful to do on the Sabbath Day.

But [Jesus] said to them, Haven't you read what David did, when he & [those who] were with him, [were hungry?] How [David] entered into the house of God, & [ate] the [showbread, that] wasn't lawful for him, & [those who] were with him to eat, but only for the priests?

Or haven't you read in the Law, how on the Sabbath Days, the priests in the temple, profane the Sabbath, & are blameless? [John 7:22-24 Therefore, Moses gave to you circumcision; (not because it is [from] Moses, but [from] the [forefathers.])

And you, on the Sabbath Day, circumcise a man. If a man [receives] circumcision on the Sabbath Day, [so] that the Law of Moses shouldn't be broken; are you angry at Me, because I have made a man [totally] whole on the Sabbath Day? Judge not according to [appearances,] but judge [with] righteous judgment.]

But I say to you, That in this place, One is greater than the temple. [2 Peter 1:17-18 For He received honor & glory from God the Father, when there came such a voice to Him from the excellent glory, This Is My beloved Son, In Whom I Am well pleased. And we heard this voice, which [came] from heaven, when we were with Him, in the Holy Mountain.]

But if you had known what this means, I will have mercy, & not [sacrifices,] you wouldn't have condemned the guiltless. [Matthew 9:13 But you, go & learn what that means, I will have mercy, & not [sacrifices:] for I Am not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.

For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath Day. And when He [had] departed [from there,] He went into their synagogue. And, [saw,] there was a man, [who] had his hand withered. And they asked HIm, saying Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath Days? [So] that they might accuse [Jesus.]

[Luke 20:20 And they watched Him, & sent [out] spies, [who] should themselves [pretend] [to be] just, [a.k.a. honest,] men, [so] that they might take hold of His Words. So that they might deliver [Jesus] to the power & authority of the governor.]

And He said to them, What man [is] there among you, [who] shall have 1 sheep, & if it [falls] into a pit on the Sabbath Day, won't he lay hold on it, & lift it out? How much then, is a man better than a sheep? [For this reason,] it is Lawful to do well on the Sabbath Days.

Then, He [said] to the man, Stretch [out] your hand. And he stretched it [out,] & it was restored whole, like the other. Then, the Pharisees went out, & held a council against Him, & how they might destroy Him. But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself from [there.]

*And [large] multitudes followed Him, & He healed them all & charged them that they should make Him known. [Psalm 103 2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who forgives all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from destruction. Who crowns you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

That it might be fulfilled [what] was spoken by [Isaiah,] the prophet, saying, *[Look,] My servant, Whom I have chosen. My Beloved, in Whom My soul is well pleased. I will put My Spirit upon Him, & He shall [declare justice] to the Gentiles.

[Isaiah 42:1 *[Look,] My Servant Whom I uphold. [My] elect, [a.k.a. Chosen,] in Whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him, & He shall bring forth [justice] to the Gentiles.]

He shall not [quarrel,] nor cry [out.] Neither shall any many hear His voice in the streets. He shall not break a bruised reed, & He shall not quench, [a.k.a. put out,] smoking flax, [until] He [sends out justice until] victory. And the Gentiles shall trust in His Name.

Then, [someone] blind, & [mute,] possessed with a [demon] was brought to Him, & *[Jesus] healed him, [in that,] the blind & [mute] both [spoke] & saw. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a rabbit, ] & the tongue of the [mute] shall sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And all the people were amazed, & said, Isn't this the Son of David? [Revelation 22:16-17 I, Jesus, have sent [My] Angel to testify these things to you in the churches. I Am the Root & the Offspring of David, & the Bright & Morning Star. And the Spirit & the bride say, Come. And let him, [who hears,] say, Come. And let him [who] is [thirsty,] come. And [whoever is willing,] let him take the Water of Life freely.]

But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This Fellow doesn't cast out [demons,] but [only does it] by Beelzebub, the prince of [demons.] And Jesus knew their thoughts, & said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; & every city or house divided against itself, [cannot] stand.

And if Satan [casts] out Satan, he is divided against himself. Then, how shall his kingdom stand? And if I cast out [demons] by Beelzebub, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges. But then, if I cast out [demons through] the Spirit of God, the Kingdom of God, [has] come, [a.k.a. arrived] to you.

[Revelation 3:20-21 [Look,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who] overcomes, to sit with Me [on] My throne, even as I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My father [on] His throne.]

Or else, how can [someone] enter into a strong man's house, & [plunder] his goods, except he 1st [ties up] the strong man? And then, he will [plunder] his house. He, [who] isn't with Me, is against Me. And he [who doesn't] gather with Me, scatters [abroad.]

[Ezekiel 14:11 The Lord God says, [So] that the house of Israel may no [longer] go astray from Me, & neither be [defiled] any more with all their [sinfulness;] but that they may be My people, & I may be their God.]

[For this reason,] I say to you, Men shall be forgiven all [types] of sin & blasphemy: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] men shall not be forgiven.

And it shall be forgiven him, [whoever] speaks a word against the Son of Man: but [whoever] speaks against the [Holy Spirit,] it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, [nor] the world to come.

Either make the tree good, & [its] fruit good; or else make the tree [bad,] & [its] fruit [bad:] for the tree is known by [its] fruit. [Matthew 7:16-19 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes [from] thorns, or figs [from] thistles?

Even so, every good tree [produces] good fruit; but a corrupt tree [produces bad] fruit. A good tree can't [produce bad] fruit, & neither can a [bad] tree [produce] good fruit. Every tree that [doesn't produce] good fruit is [cut] down & cast into the fire.]

O generation of vipers, [a.k.a. poisonous snakes.], being evil, how can you speak good things? For the mouth [speaks] out of the abundance of the heart. A good man [produces] good things, out of the good treasure of the heart. And an evil man [produces] evil things, out of the evil treasure [of the heart.]

But I say to you, That men shall give an account on Judgment Day [for] every idle word that they speak. For by your words you shall be justified, & by your words you shall be condemned.

Then, [some] of the scribes & Pharisees answered, saying, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] we would [like to] see a sign, [a.k.a. Miracle,] from You. But [Jesus] answered & said to them, An evil & adulterous generation [seeks] after a sign. And there shall be given no sign to it, [except] the sign of the prophet, [Jonah.]

For [like Jonah] was in the whale's belly 3 days & 3 nights, so shall the Son of Man be 3 days & 3 nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh, shall rise [up] in judgment with this generation, & shall condemn it. Because [Nineveh] repented at [Jonah's] preaching, & [look,] a greater than [Jonah] is here.

The Queen of the South, [a.k.a. Queen of Sheba,] shall rise up in judgment with this generation, & shall condemn it. For she came from the [furthest] parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And, [see,] a greater than Solomon is here.

[Luke 7:22-23 *Then Jesus answering said to them, Go [on] your way, & tell John, what things you have seen & heard. How that: the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, & the gospel is preached to the poor. And blessed is he, [whoever] shall not be offended in Me.]

When the unclean spirit [has] gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, & [finds] none. Then, he [says,] I will return to my house from [where] I came out, & when he [returns,] he finds it empty, swept, & [decorated.]

Then, [the demon] goes & takes with himself 7 other spirits, more wicked than himself, & they enter in & dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the 1st. Even so, it shall also be to this wicked generation.

While [Jesus still] talked to the people, [saw] His mother & His brethren, [a.k.a. brothers, standing outside,] desiring to speak with Him. Then, [someone] said to Him, [See,] Your mother, & Your brethren stand [outside,] desiring to speak with You.

But He answered & said to him, [who] told Him, Who is My mother? And who are My brethren? And He stretched [out] His hand toward His disciples, & said, [See,] My mother & My brethren! For [whoever] shall do the will of My Father, [Who] is in heaven, the same is My brother, sister, & mother.
