About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Matthew 10:1-42 Jesus Sends the 12 Apostles Out to Preach & Heal

Jesus Sends the 12 Apostles Out to Preach & Heal

Matthew 10:1-42    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

And when [Jesus] had called His 12 disciples to Him, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, & to heal all [types] of sickness, & all [types] of disease.

Now, the names of the 12 apostles are these: The 1st, Simon, who is called Peter, [a.k.a. Cephas;] & Andrew, [Peter's] brother; James, the son of Zebedee; & John, his brother; Philip; Bartholomew, [a.k.a. Nathanael;] Thomas, [a.k.a. the twin, Didymus, & Doubting Thomas;] Matthew, [a.k.a. Levi,] the publican, [a.k.a. tax collector;] James, the son of Alphaeus; Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, [a.k.a. Zealot, or Zelotes;] & Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed [Jesus.]

Jesus sent these 12 [out,] & commanded them, saying, [Don't] go into the [road] of the Gentiles, & [don't] enter into any city of the Samaritans. But [instead,] go, to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [Isaiah 53:6 We all like sheep, have gone astray; & we have everyone turned to his own way. And the Lord has laid on Him, the [sin] of us all.]

And as you go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out [demons.] Freely give, [what] you have freely received.

[Don't] provide gold, silver, nor brass in your purses, nor: scrip, [a.k.a. knapsack,] 2 coats, shoes, nor staves, [a.k.a. walking sticks, or shepherds' crooks,] for your journey. For the workman is worthy of his meat, [a.k.a. food.]

And [inquire] who in it is worthy, into [whatever] city or town you shall enter, & [stay] there, [until] you go [from there.] And when you come into a house, salute, [a.k.a. greet them.] And if the [household is] worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if [it's] not worthy, let your peace return to you.

And [whoever] shall not receive, [a.k.a. welcome,] you, nor [hears] your words, shake off the dust of your feet, when you depart out of that house or city. [Truly,] I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom & Gomorrha, [a.k.a. Gomorrah, on] the day of judgment, than for that city.

[Watch,] I send you [out like] sheep, in the [middle] of wolves. Therefore, be wise [like] serpents, [a.k.a. snakes,] & harmless [like] doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, & they will scourge, [a.k.a. whip] you in their synagogues.

[Acts 5:40-42 And [the council] agreed to him. And when they had called the apostles, & beaten them, they commanded that they shouldn't speak in the Name of Jesus, & let them go. And they [left] from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were [considered] worthy to suffer shame for His Name. And they [didn't] cease to daily teach & preach: Jesus Christ in the temple & in every house.]

And you shall be brought [in front of] governors, & kings for My sake, for a testimony against them & the Gentiles. [Acts 12:1-3 Now, about that time, king Herod, stretched [out] his hands to [harass some] of the church. And he killed James, the brother of John, with a sword. And because [Herod] saw it pleased the Jews, [Herod] further proceeded to take Peter, also. ([These] were the days of Unleavened Bread.)]

But when they deliver you up, take no thought [about] how or what you shall speak. For it shall be given [to] you in that same hour, what you shall speak. For it isn't you, [who speaks,] but the Spirit of your Father, [Who] speaks [through] you.

[2 Timothy 4:16-18 At 1st, no man stood with me, but all men [abandoned] me. I [prayed] [to] God, that it might not be [held against them.] [Still,] the Lord stood with me, & strengthened me; [so] that by the preaching [of Christ,] might be fully known, & that all the Gentiles might hear.

And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, [a.k.a. evil plot,] & will preserve, [a.k.a. save,] me [for] His heavenly kingdom: to Whom be glory forever & ever. Amen.]

And the brother shall deliver up, [his] brother to death, & the father, the child. And the children shall rise up against their parents, & cause them to be put to death. And you shall be hated [by] all men for My Name's sake. But, he, [who] endures to the end, shall be saved.

[Revelation 2:10-11 [Don't] fear [any] of those things [that] you shall suffer. [Watch,] the devil shall cast some of you into prison, [so] that you may be tried, [a.k.a. tested.] And you shall have tribulation [for] 10 days.

You, be faithful [until] death, & I will give you a crown of life. He, [who] has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He, [who] overcomes shall not be hurt [from] the 2nd death.]

But when they persecute you in this city, you, flee into another. For [truly,] I say to you, You shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, [until] the Son of Man [comes.]

The disciple isn't above his master, [a.k.a. teacher,] nor the servant above his lord. It's enough for the disciple to be [like] his [teacher,] & the servant [to be] [like] his lord.

If they have called the master of the house, Beelzebub, how much more shall they call [those,] of his household? Therefore, don't fear them, [because] there is nothing covered, [a.k.a. disguised,] that [won't] be revealed, & [nothing] [hidden,] that shall not be known.

What I tell you in darkness, you, speak that in [the] light. And what you hear in the ear, you, preach that upon the housetops. And [don't] fear [those, who] kill the body, but aren't able to kill the soul.

[Jeremiah 1:7-9 But the Lord said to me, [Don't] say, I'm a child: for you shall go to all, [to whom] I shall send you, & you shall speak, [whatever] I command you. [Don't] be afraid of their faces. For I am with you, to deliver you, says the Lord. Then, the Lord put [out] His hand, & touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, [Look,] I have put My Words in your mouth.]

But [instead,] fear him, [who] is able to destroy both [the] body & soul in hell. [Ephesians 6:11-13 Put on the whole armor of God, [so] that you may be able to stand [up] against the wiles of the devil.

For we [don't] wrestle against flesh & blood, but against: principalities; powers; the rulers of darkness of this world; & against spiritual wickedness in high places. [For this reason,] take to [yourselves] the whole armor of God, [so] that you may be able to withstand [on] the evil day, having done all, to [withstand] it.]

Aren't 2 sparrows sold for a farthing? And 1 of them shall not fall on the ground, without your Father [knowing.] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore, [don't] fear. You are of more value than many sparrows.

Therefore, [whoever,] shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father, [Who] is in heaven. [Revelation 3:5 He, [who] overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white [clothing.] And I won't blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name, [in front of] My Father, & [in front of] His Angels.]

But [whoever] shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him, [in front] of My Father, [Who] is in heaven. [Luke 9:26 For [whoever] shall be ashamed of Me, & of My Words, the Son of Man shall be ashamed of him, when He shall come in His Own glory, & in His Father's [glory;] & [the glory] of the Holy Angels.

[Don't] think that I [have] come to send peace on earth. I didn't [come] to send peace, but a sword. *For I [have] come to [put] a man at [odds] against his father, & the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law, against her mother-in-law.

And a man's [enemies,] shall be [those] of his own household. [Matthew 13:54-57 And when [Jesus came] into His Own country, He taught them in their synagogue, [in] that, they were astonished, & said, [From where has] this Man, this wisdom, & these mighty works, [a.k.a. Miracles?] Isn't this the carpenter's Son? Isn't His mother called Mary?

And His [brothers:] James; Joses, [a.k.a. Joseph, or John;] Simon; & Judas? And His sisters, aren't they all with us? [Why] then, [does] this Man [have] all these things? And they were offended [by] Him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, [except] in His Own country, & in His Own house.]

He, [who] loves [his] father or mother more than Me, isn't worthy of Me. And he, [who] loves [his] son or daughter more than Me, isn't worthy of Me. And he, [who doesn't] take [up] his cross, & follows after Me, isn't worthy of Me. [Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, & take up his cross, & follow Me.]

He, [who] finds his life, shall lose it. And he, [who] loses his life for My sake, shall find it. He, [who] receives, [a.k.a. welcomes,] you, receives Me. And he, [who] receives Me, receives Him, [Who] sent Me.

[John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, [so] that [whoever] believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God [didn't send] His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

He, [who] receives a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward. And he, [who] receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, shall receive a righteous man's reward.

And [whoever] shall give one of these little ones a cup of cold water to drink, only in the name of a disciple, [truly,] I say to you, he shall in no [ways] lose his reward. [Matthew 25:40-46 And the King shall answer & say to them, [Truly,] I say to you, [In that,] you have done it to one of the least of these, My brethren, you have done it to Me.

Then, He shall also say to [those] on the left hand [side,] Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil & his angels: For I was [hungry] & you gave Me no meat, [a.k.a. food.] I was thirsty, & you gave Me no drink.

I was a stranger, & you [didn't take] Me in: & naked, & you [didn't clothe] Me: sick & in prison, & you [didn't visit] Me. Then, they shall also answer Him, saying, Lord, when [did] we see You [hungry,] or [thirsty,] or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, & didn't minister to You?

Then, He shall answer them, saying, [Truly,] I say to you, [Since] you didn't [do] it to one of the least of these, you didn't [do] it to Me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.]
