About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Matthew 2:1-23 The Wisemen Come to See Young Jesus

The Wisemen Come to See Young Jesus

Matthew 2:1-23    The Gospel According to Matthew [in Smaller Chunks]

*Now, when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea, during] the days of king Herod, [look,] there came wise men from the East to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He, [Who] Is Born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East, & [have] come to worship Him.

When king Herod had heard these things, he was troubled, & all Jerusalem with him. And when [Herod] had gathered all the chief priests & scribes of the people together, he demanded of them, where Christ should be born. [Isaiah 7:14 *Therefore, the Lord, Himself, shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, & bear a Son, & shall call His Name Immanuel, [a.k.a. Emmanuel.]

And they said to [Herod,] In Bethlehem, in the land of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea:] For [this] is written by the prophet, *And you, Bethlehem, in the land of [Judah,] aren't the least among the princes of [Judah.] For out of you shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people, Israel.

[Micah 5:2 *But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, [although] you [are] little among the 1,000's of Judah, [still,] out of you, He shall come forth unto Me, Who is to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings [out] have been of old, from everlasting.]

Then, Herod, when he had [privately] called the wise men, & diligently [inquired] of them, What time the star appeared. And [Herod] sent them to Bethlehem, & said, Go & diligently search for the young Child. And when you have found Him, bring word [to] me again, [so] that I may come & also worship Him.

When they had heard the king, they departed, & [saw,] the star, [that] they saw in the East, & went before them, [until] it came & stood, [a.k.a. sat] over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with [exceedingly] great joy.

And when they [had] come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary, His mother, & fell down & worshiped Him. *And when they had opened their treasures, they presented to Him gifts: gold, frankincense, & myrrh.

[Isaiah 72:8-11 He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, & from the river to the ends of the earth. *[Those, who] dwell in the wilderness, shall bow before Him. And His enemies shall lick the dust.

The king of Tarshish, & the [coastal islands,] shall bring presents. The kings of Sheba, & Seba shall offer gifts. [Yes,] all the kings shall fall down before Him, & nations shall serve Him.]

And being warned [by] God in a dream, that they shouldn't return to Herod, they departed another way into their own country. And when they [had] departed, behold, the Angel of the Lord [appeared] to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, & take the young Child & His mother, & flee into Egypt.

And you, be there until I bring you word. For Herod will seek the young Child, to destroy Him. When [Joseph] arose, he took the young Child, & His mother [at] night, & departed into Egypt.

*And was there until the death of Herod: [so] that it might be fulfilled, [what] was spoken of the Lord, by the prophet, saying, I have called My Son out of Egypt. [Hosea 11:1 *When Israel was a child, then I loved him, [a.k.a. them,] & called My Son out of Egypt.]

Then, when Herod saw that he was mocked [by] the wise men, he was [exceedingly furious.] And according to the time, [that Herod] had diligently [inquired from] the wise men, sent [out] & [killed] all the children from 2 years old, & under [who] were in Bethlehem, & in all [its] coasts.

Then, was fulfilled [what] was spoken by [Jeremiah,] the prophet, saying, *In Rama, there was a voice heard, [grieving,] weeping, & great mourning. Rachel weeping for her children, & wouldn’t be comforted, because they are not [alive.]

[Jeremiah 31:15 *The Lord said [this;] a voice heard in Ramah, [a.k.a. Rama, grieving] & bitter weeping. [Rachel] weeping for her children, [who] refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not [alive.]

But when Herod was dead, [look,] an Angel of the Lord [appeared] to Joseph in a dream in Egypt, saying, Arise, & take the young Child & His mother, & go into the land of Israel. for [those, who] sought the young Child’s life, are dead.

And [Joseph] arose, & took the young Child & His mother, & came into the land of Israel. But when [Joseph] heard that Archelaus [ruled] in Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] in [place] of his father, Herod, [Joseph] was afraid to go [there.]

[Still,] being warned in a dream [by] God, [Joseph] turned aside into parts of Galilee. *And [Joseph] came & dwelt in a city called Nazareth: [so] that it might be fulfilled, [what] was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
