About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Exodus 39:1-43 Assembling the Garments for the Priests According to the Lord’s Design

Assembling the Garments for the Priests According to the Lord’s Design

Exodus 39:1-43            The Second Book of Moses Called Exodus

They made the [clothes] of service, for [ministering] in the Holy Place & made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord commanded Moses, of blue, purple & scarlet The ephod [decorative vestment of the high priest] was made of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen.

They [hammered] the gold into thin [sheets] & cut it into wires, to work it into the blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & the fine linen with [skillful artistic] work. They made shoulder [straps] for it that were coupled together [at its] 2 edges.

The [intricately woven] girdle of his ephod was of the same [workmanship] & was [woven] of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & of fine [woven] linen, as the Lord commanded Moses. They [set] onyx stones enclosed in [settings] of gold & they were [carved] with the [12] names of the sons of Israel [like signet rings] are [carved.]

He put them on the shoulders of the ephod [as] memorial stones for the [sons] of Israel as the Lord commanded Moses. The breastplate was of [skillful artistic] work [woven] like the [workmanship] of the ephod, of gold, blue, purple & scarlet [thread] & fine [woven] linen.

The breastplate was doubled & was a square, 1 span [long] x 1 span [wide when] doubled. In it, they set 4 rows of stones enclosed in [settings] of gold in the [mountings.] The 1st row was: a [ruby,] topaz & [red garnet.] The 2nd row: an emerald, sapphire & a diamond.

The 3rd row: a [jacinth,] agate & amethyst. The 4th row: a [crystal,] onyx & jasper. [Each of the 12 stones was [carved] with a different name of the 12 sons] of Israel [a.k.a. Jacob,] according to the 12 tribes. They made for the ends of the breastplate [like braided cord] of pure gold.

They also made 2 [settings] of gold & 2 gold rings & put the 2 [braided] chains of gold in the 2 rings on the end of the breastplate & fastened the ends of the 2 [braided] chains in the 2 [settings] & put them on the shoulder [straps] of the [front] of the ephod.

They [also] made 2 rings of gold & put them on the 2 ends on the inward side of the ephod. They made 2 other golden rings & put them on the 2 shoulder [straps] underneath the ephod toward [its front,]over against [its] other [seam,] above the [intricately woven] girdle [sash] of the ephod.

They [bound] the breastplate by [means] of [its] rings, to the rings of the ephod with a blue lace, [so] that it [would] be above the [intricately woven] girdle of the ephod & [so] that the breastplate would not [come loose] from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.

He made the robe of the ephod all of blue woven work & there was an [opening] in the middle of the robe, [like the opening] in a coat of mail,] with a [woven binding] all around the opening, so that it [wouldn’t tear.]

On the [hem ]of the robe, they [alternated] pomegranates of blue, purple & scarlet & fine [woven] linen & bells made of pure gold in between the pomegranates [in a pattern] all around the hem of the robe to minister in, as the Lord commanded Moses.

They made [artistically] woven coats of fine linen for Aaron & his sons & a [turban] of fine linen & [decorated hats] of fine linen & linen [trousers] of fine [woven] linen [worn as an undergarment beneath the robes] & a [sash] of fine [woven] linen with blue, purple & scarlet [thread] of needlework, as the Lord commanded Moses.

They made the [inscription] plate of the holy crown of pure gold & wrote on it like the engraving of a signet [ring, that said]: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. They tied to it a blue [cord] to fasten it high upon the [turban]; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Thus all the work of the Tabernacle [for] the tent of the congregation was finished & the children of Israel did according to all the Lord had commanded Moses & they did so.

They brought to Moses: the Tabernacle, the tent & all [its furnishings, its clasps,] boards, bars, pillars & [its] sockets; and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of badgers’ skins & the [veil] of covering; the Ark of the Testimony, [with its poles] & mercy seat; the table, all [its] vessels [utensils,]

and the show bread; the pure [gold] candlestick with [its] lamps, even with lamps to be set in order, all [its] vessels [utensils] & the oil for the light; the golden altar, the anointing oil & the sweet incense; the hanging [screen] for the Tabernacle door; the [brass] altar, [its] grate of brass, [its poles] & all [its] vessels [utensils,]

the [basin] & [its base]; the hangings of the [courtyard, its] pillars & sockets, the hanging [screen] for the [courtyard] gate, [its] cords & [its pegs]; all the vessels [utensils for] the service of the Tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

The [clothes] of the service to [minister] in the Holy Place, the holy garments of Aaron, the priest & his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office. According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, the children of Israel made all the work so. Moses looked [over] all the work & [saw,] they had done it; as the Lord commanded. They had even done it so & Moses blessed them.
