About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 5:1-19 Various Offerings Made to the Lord

Various Offerings Made to the Lord

Leviticus 5:1-19    The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

If a [person] sins & hears an [oath] & is a witness [of] whether he has seen or knows of it & doesn’t [tell] it, he bears his guilt. Or if a person swears an [oath rashly] with his lips to do evil or to do good & he is unaware of it.

When he [realizes] his guilt in any of these things, he shall confess his sin. Or if [a person touches] any unclean thing, whether [it’s] a carcass of an unclean beast, [livestock], or unclean creeping things or if he touches any human uncleanness [that may defile a man] & he is unaware of it].

When he [realizes] his guilt in any of these things, he shall confess his sin. He shall bring a trespass offering to the Lord for his sin he has [done of a:] female lamb or kid goat without blemish, for a sin offering & the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

If he isn’t able to bring a lamb, he shall bring 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons,1 for a sin offering & the other for a burnt offering to the Lord. He shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer [the]1 for the sin offering 1st & wring off [its] head from [its] neck, but shall not divide it [apart].

[The priest] shall sprinkle the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar & the rest of the blood should be wrung out at the bottom of the altar. It is a sin offering. He shall offer the 2nd according to the manner for burnt offerings & the priest shall make an atonement for his sin, which he has [done] & it shall be forgiven him.

If he isn’t able to bring 2 turtle doves or 2 young pigeons, then the person [who sinned] shall bring for his sin offering; 1/10 of an ephah of fine flour with no oil [on] it, neither shall he put any frankincense [on it]: for it is a sin offering.

Then he shall bring it to the priest [who] will take his memorial handful of it & burn it on the altar according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. It is a sin offering. The priest shall make an atonement [for] his sin in one of these & it shall be forgiven him & the [rest] shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, If [the person] commits a trespass & sins [unaware]  [to pay the things to be devoted] to the Lord, then he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with [an] estimation of silver, after the the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.

He shall make amends for [the failure of his payment] for the Lord & shall add a 1/5 part [to it] & give it to the priest [who] shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering & it shall be forgiven him.

If [a person sins] & [commits] any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he didn’t know it, yet he is guilty & shall bear his [guilt].

He shall bring the priest a ram without blemish [from] the flock with your estimation [of silver] for a trespass offering to the priest.

The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his ignorance [in which] he erred & didn’t know it & it shall be forgiven him. It is a trespass offering; he has certainly trespassed against the Lord.
