About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 8:1-36 Anointing Aaron and His Sons as Priests

Anointing Aaron and His Sons as Priests

Leviticus 8:1-36          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses, saying, Take Aaron, his sons, the garments, anointing oil, a [bull] for the sin offering, 2 rams & a basket of unleavened bread & gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, & Moses [did so.]

And Moses did [like] the Lord commanded him. And the assembly was gathered together to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Moses said to the congregation, This is [what] the Lord commanded to be done. Moses brought Aaron & his sons & washed them with water.

[Then Moses] put the coat on him & [strapped Aaron] with the [embroidered] girdle [sash,] clothed him with the robe, put the ephod [decorative vestment of high priests] on him & [dressed] him with a [skillfully woven band] of the ephod & [tied] it on [Aaron there.]

[Moses] put the breastplate upon [Aaron] & put the Urim & the Thummim in the breastplate & the [turban] on his head. Also, on [the front] he put a golden [engraved] plate [on] the holy crown; as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And Moses took the anointing oil & anointed the tabernacle & all that was [in it] & sanctified them. [Moses] sprinkled [some] on the altar 7 times & anointed the altar, all [its] vessels [utensils,] both the [basin] & [its base] to sanctify them.

[Moses] poured [some] of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head & anointed him to sanctify him. Moses brought Aaron’s sons & put coats on them & girded them & [strapped] them with [sashes] & put [hats] on them, as the Lord commanded Moses. [Moses] brought the [bull] for the sin offering.

[Then] Aaron & his sons laid their hands on the head of the [bull] for the sin offering. He [killed] it & Moses took the blood & [sprinkled some] on the horns of the altar [all around] with his finger & purified the altar & poured the blood at the bottom of the altar & sanctified it to make [atonement] upon it.

[Then] he took all the fat that was on the [internal parts] & the [fatty lobe] above the liver & the 2 kidneys & their fat & [Moses] burned [them] on the altar. But the bull, [its] hide, [its] flesh & [its feces,] he burnt with fire [outside] the camp, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

[Moses] brought the ram for the burnt offering & Aaron & his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram & he killed it & [Moses] sprinkled the blood [all around] upon the altar. He cut the ram into pieces & Moses burned the head, the pieces & the fat.

He washed the [internal parts] & legs in water. Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet [aroma] & an offering made by fire to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. He brought the 2nd ram [which was] the ram of consecration.

Aaron & his sons laid their hands on the ram’s head & he [killed] it. [Moses] took [some] of the blood & put it on the tips of Aaron & his son’s right [ears] & on their [thumbs] of [their] right [hands] & on the [big toes of their] right [feet.]  Moses sprinkled the blood [all around] on the altar.

[Then Moses] took the fat & the rump & all the fat on the [internal parts,] the fat on the [fatty lobe] above the liver, the 2 kidneys & their fat & the right shoulder. He took [from] the basket that was before the Lord of unleavened bread [without yeast,] 1 unleavened cake, a cake of oiled bread & 1 wafer & put them on the fat on the right shoulder.

He put all [these] upon Aaron’s hands & his son’s hands & waved them as a wave offering before the Lord. [Then] Moses took them off their hands & burned them on the altar upon the burnt offering. They were [consecrated] for a sweet [aroma,] an offering made by fire to the Lord. Moses took the breast & waved it for a wave offering before the Lord.

The ram of consecration was Moses’ [portion,] as the Lord had commanded Moses. [Then] Moses took [some] of the oil & [some] of the blood which was on the altar & sprinkled it upon Aaron & his garments & Aaron’s sons & their garments with him & sanctified Aaron 7 his garments & his sons & his sons’ garments with him.

Moses [told] Aaron & his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation & eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron & his sons shall eat it.

[What remains] of the flesh [meat] & the bread, you shall burn with fire & you shall not go out of the door of the congregation [for] 7 days, until the days of your consecration [are] ended. For 7 days he shall consecrate you.

As he has done this day, [as] the Lord has commanded to do so, to make an atonement for you. Therefore you shall [stay] at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day & night for 7 days & keep the [responsibility] of the Lord, so that you [don’t] die, for I am commanded [to do] so.

So, Aaron & his sons did all [the] things [that] the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.
