About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Thoughts on What We Should Say & How to Act

Proverbs 15:1-33                                      Proverbs [in Smaller Chunks]

A soft answer [turns] away [fury:] but [harsh] words stir up anger. The tongue, [a.k.a. mouth,] of the wise [uses] knowledge [correctly:] but the mouth of fools [pour] out [what is] foolishness.

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, [seeing] [both on:] the evil & the good. A wholesome tongue is a Tree of Life: but [deceit within the mouth] [leads to] a [broken] spirit. A fool [despises] his father’s instruction: but he, [who pays attention to correction] is [wise.]

In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but the [money gained by] the wicked [leads to] trouble. [Proverbs 13:22 A good man [leaves] an inheritance to his [grandchildren,] & the wealth of the sinner is [stored away] for the just, [a.k.a. righteous.]

The lips of the wise [spread] knowledge: but the heart of the foolish [doesn’t do that.] The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the [righteous] is His delight. [Judges 10:11-14 And the Lord said to the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, [Didn't] I deliver you from the: Egyptians, Amorites, the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Ammon, & from the Philistines? Also: the Zidonians, [a.k.a. Sidonians,] Amalekites, & the Maonites, [who] [oppressed] you. And you cried [out] to Me, & I delivered you out of their hand. [Still,] you have [abandoned] Me, & served other gods. [For this reason,] I will no [longer] deliver you. Go, & cry [out] to the gods, [that] you have chosen. Let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.]

The [path] of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but [the Lord loves] him [who follows] after righteousness. Correction is [harsh] to him [who abandon] the [ways] [of the Lord.] [Proverbs 3:11-12 My son, [don’t] despise the [chastising, a.k.a. discipline,] of the Lord, neither be weary of His correction. For the Lord [corrects] [those] whom He [loves,] even [like] a father, [who corrects] the son in whom he [is] [delighted.] 

And he, [who hates correction] shall die. Hell & destruction are before the Lord: then, how much more [are] the hearts of the children of men [before the Lord?] 

A scorner, [a.k.a. someone who looks down on others, doesn’t love those who correct] him: neither will he go to the wise. [2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, [a.k.a. credible religious teaching,] but [will go astray] after their own lusts, & they shall heap teachers to themselves, having itching ears, [wanting to hear something.] And they shall turn their ears away from the Truth, & shall be turned to fables.]  

A [happy] heart [makes] a cheerful [face:] but the spirit is broken by a [sorrowful] heart. [The heart of him [who has] understanding, [seeks] knowledge: but a [fool’s] mouth [feeds] on [what is] foolishness. 

All the days of the afflicted are [bad:] but he, [who has] a merry heart [has] a continual feast. [Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart [does] [a person] good, [like] a medicine, but a broken spirit [dries] the bones

[It] is better to [have a] little with the fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of the Lord, than great treasure & trouble [with that.] . [I Timothy 6:10-11 For the love of money is the root of all evil. While some [have] coveted after [it,] they have [gone astray] from the faith, & pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things, & follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, & [humility.]

A dinner of herbs is better where love is, than a [fattened cow,] & hatred [with that.] [Philippians 4:12-13 I know both how to be [humbled] & how to [have plenty.] Everywhere & in all things, I am instructed both to be full & to be hungry, both to abound, [a.k.a. have plenty,] & to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ, [Who strengthens] me.] 

[An angry] man [stirs] up [arguments:] but he, [who] is slow to anger [calms quarrels.] [James 3:5-6 Even so, the tongue is a little member [of the body,] & [boasts of] great things. [See,] how [large] a [problem,] a little fire [kindles, a.k.a. ignites!] And the tongue is a fire, [that leads to a] world of [sinfulness.] The tongue [does] so among our [body's] members [so] it [defiles] the whole body, & [sets] the course of nature on fire. And it is set, [a.k.a. focused,] on [the fires] of hell.] 

The [path] of the [lazy] man is [like a] hedge of thorns: but the [path] of the righteous is made [straight.] [Proverbs 22:5 Thorns & snares, [a.k.a. traps,] in the [path] of the [stubborn;] & he [who guards] his soul, shall be far from them.] 

A wise son [makes] a glad father: but a foolish man [despises] his mother. To him, [who] is [without] wisdom, folly, [a.k.a. lack of good judgment,] is a joy: but a man of understanding [walks righteously.]

Without [advice, plans get turned around:] but with [many counselors,] they are established. By the answer of his mouth, a man has joy, & how good it is [when] a word [is] spoken [at the right time!]  [Proverbs 11:14 People fall, [a.k.a. stumble,] where no counsel is; but there is safety in the multitude of [counselors.]

To the wise, the Way of life is above, [so] that he may depart from hell [below.] [John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.]

The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: but He will establish the [boundary] of a widow. [Isaiah 1:23-24 Your princes are rebellious, & companions of thieves. Everyone [loves] gifts, & [follows] after rewards, [a.k.a. bribes.] They [don't] judge the fatherless, & neither [does] the [case] of the widow come to them. Therefore, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, [says,] Ah, I will ease [Myself] of [My] adversaries, & avenge [Myself] of [My] enemies.]

The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the pure, [a.k.a. blameless,] are pleasant words. [Psalm 37:34 Wait on the Lord, & keep His [ways,] & He shall exalt you to inherit the land. You [shall] see it, when the wicked are cut off.]

He, [who] is greedy [for] [financial] gain [troubles] his own house: but he [who] [hates] gifts, [a.k.a. bribes,] shall live. [Matthew 16:26 For what is a man [benefited,] if he shall gain the whole world, & lose his own soul? Of what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?] 

The heart of the righteous [studies] [before] [answering:] but the mouth of the wicked [pours] out evil things. [Psalm 57:4 My soul, [a.k.a. life,] is among lions; & I even lie among [those, who] are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears & arrows, & their tongue [is] a sharp sword.]

The Lord is far from the wicked: but He [hears] the prayer of the righteous. [James 5:19-20 Brethren, if any of you err, [a.k.a. go astray,] from the Truth, & [someone] converts him, Let him know, that he, [who converts] the sinner from the error of his [ways,] shall save a soul from death, & shall hide a multitude of sins.]

The heart  [rejoices] [by] the Light [from] the eyes, & a good report [makes] the bones [healthy.] [1 John 1:7 But if we walk, [a.k.a. follow,] in the LIght [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

The ear that [hears] the [correction] [that leads to Eternal] Life, [remains] among the wise. [Revelation 3:19-22 As many as I love, I [reprimand & chastise.] Therefore, be zealous, & repent. [Look,] I stand at the door & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him [who overcomes,] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne. He [who has] an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit [says] to the churches.] 

He, [who refuses] instruction, [despises] his own soul: but he, [who pays attention to correction gets] understanding. [Ezekiel 18:21-23 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he [has] committed, & [keeps] all My [mandates,] & [does what] is lawful & right, he shall surely live, & he shall not die. All his [sins] that he [has] committed, shall not be mentioned to him. He shall live in his righteousness that he [has] done. [Do] I have any pleasure at all, that the wicked should die? [says] the Lord God, & not [instead] that he should return from his ways & live?] 

The fear, [a.k.a. respect,] of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; & humility is before [honor.] [Proverbs 16:18 Pride [goes] before destruction, & a haughty, [a.k.a. arrogant,] spirit [goes] before a fall.]
