About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Joshua 21:1-45 Giving the Priests & Levites Cities with Their Pasture Land

Giving the Priests & Levites Cities with Their Pasture Land

Joshua 21:1-45               The Book of Joshua [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, the [family] heads, [a.k.a. leaders,] of the [Levites' forefathers,] came [close] to Eleazar, the priest, & to Joshua, [Nun’s] son, & to the [leaders] of the [forefathers'] tribes of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel.

At Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, they [said] to them, The Lord commanded [at] the hand of Moses, to give us cities to [live] in, with [its] suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands for,] our cattle, [a.k.a. livestock.] And the [people] of Israel gave these cities & suburbs to the Levites [from] their inheritance, at the [command] of the Lord.

And the lot [came] out [from] the [tribes] of: Judah; Simeon; & Benjamin, for the families of the Kohathites, & the children of Aaron, the priest, [who] were [descendants] of the Levites, [& they received:] 13 cities, [by lot from these tribes.] The rest of [Kohath’s descendants] [received] 10 cities, [from] the families of the [tribes] of: Ephraim, Dan & 1/2 of the tribe of Manasseh.

The lot [came] out for the children of Gershon, & [their  descendants received] 13 cities in Bashan, [from] the families of the [tribes] of: Issachar, Asher, Naphtali & 1/2 of the tribe of  Manasseh.

[The lot came out for] the children of Merari, by their famiies, & [their descendants received] 12 cities [from] the [tribes] of: Reuben, Gad, & Zebulun. The [people] of Israel gave these cities to the Levites by lot with their suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands,] as the Lord commanded [at] the hand of Moses.

And [from] the children of the [tribes] of: Judah & Simeon, they [gave] these cities mentioned by name [to the descendants] of Aaron, [who were from] the families of the [Kohathite] [tribe of the] [Levites, because] the 1st lot was theirs.

They gave them the [cities] of: Arba, [who was] the father of Anak, which is the city [of] Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with [its] suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands around,] it. But they gave [its] fields & villages to Caleb, [Jephunneh’s] son, for his possession.

[Like this,] they gave to the [descendants] of Aaron, the priest, [these cities] to be a city of refuge for the slayer, with [its] pasture lands.]

[Joshua 20:2 [So] that the slayer who kills any person [accidentally] may flee [there] & they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.]

[The Levites' descendants received:] Hebron, & [its] suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands around it;] & Libnah [& its pasture lands;] Jatir [& its pasture lands;] Eshtemoa [& its pasture lands;] Holon [& its pasture lands;] Debir [& its pasture lands;] Ain [& its pasture lands;] Juttah [& its pasture lands;] & Beth Shemesh [& its pasture lands:] 9 cities [from] those 2 tribes.

[From] the tribe of Benjamin, [they gave] 4 cities: Gibeon [& its pasture lands;] Geba [& its pasture lands;] Anathoth [& its pasture lands;] & Almon [& its pasture lands.] All [these] 13 cities [were for the descendants] of Aaron, the priests, [including their pasture lands.]

And the families of children of Kohath, the [Levites'] [descendants who] remained, of [Kohath's children, a.k.a. people,] [were given these] 4 cities [from] their lot [from] the tribe of Ephraim. They gave them: Shechem [& its pasture lands] in Mount Ephraim; & Gezer [& its pasture lands;] Kibzaim [& its pasture lands;] & Beth Horon [& its pasture lands] to be a [cities] of refuge for the slayer.

And [from] the tribe of Dan, [they gave the Levites' descendants] 4 cities: Eltekeh [& its pasture lands;] Gibbethon [& its pasture lands;] Aijalon [& its pasture lands;] & Gath Rimmon [& its pasture lands.]

And [from] the 1/2 tribe of Manasseh, [they gave the Levites' descendants:] 2 cities. Tanach [& its pasture lands;] & Gath Rimmon [& its pasture lands.] All 10 cities, & their suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands,] [were given for] [Kohath's remaining] [Levite descendants.]

And to the children of Gershon, [were given for] the [Levites'] [descendants:] 2 cities, [from] the other [1/2] tribe of Manasseh. They gave: Golan in Bashan [& its pasture lands;] & Beesh Terah [& its pasture lands;] to be [cities] of refuge for the slayer.

And [from] the tribe of Issacher, [the Levites' descendants were given:] 4 cities. Kishon [& its pasture lands;] Dabareh [& its pasture lands;] Jarmuth [& its pasture lands;] & En Gannim [& its pasture lands.]

And from the tribe of Asher, [the Levites' descendants were given:] 4 cities.  Mishal [& its pasture lands;] Abdon [& its pasture lands;] Helkath [& its pasture lands;] & Rehob [& its pasture lands.]

And [from] the tribe of Naphtali, [the Levites' descendants were given:] 3 cities.  Kedesh in Galilee [& its pasture lands;] & Hammoth Dor [& its pasture lands;] & Kartan [& its pasture lands,] to be [cities] of refuge for the slayer.

All the cities [given to] the Gershonites, [the Levites' descendants,] according to their families were: 13 cities [& their pasture lands.]

And to the families of the children of Merari, the rest of [the Levites' descendants, were given] 4 cities [from] the tribe of Zebulun. Jokneam [& its pasture lands;] Kartah [& its pasture lands;] Dimnah [& its pasture lands;] & Nahalal [& its pasture lands.]

And [from] the tribe of Reuben, [were given to the Levites' descendants:] 4 cities. Bezer [& its pasture lands;] Jahazah [& its pasture lands;] Kedemoth [& its pasture lands;] & Mephaath [& its pasture lands.]

And [from] the  tribe of Gad, 4 cities in all [were given to the Levites' descendants:] Ramoth in Gilead [& its pasture lands;] Mahanaim [& its pasture lands;] Heshbon [& its pasture lands;] & Jazer [& its pasture lands;] to be [cities] of refuge for the slayer.

So all the cities for the children of Merari, [who] were remaining of the [Levite] families, were given: 12 cities, by lot [to the Levites' descendants.]

All the cities of the Levites, [that] the [people] of Israel [possessed,] 48 cities & their suburbs, [a.k.a. pasture lands,] [were given to the Levites' descendants.] All these cities [included] their [pasture lands around] them. All these cities were [like this.]

And the Lord gave to Israel all the land [that] He [swore] to give to their [forefathers] & they possessed it & [lived in it.] And the Lord gave them rest, [a.k.a. peace, all around] [them,] according to all that He [swore] to their [forefathers.]

Not a [single] man of all their enemies stood before them; [because] the Lord [had] delivered all their enemies into their [hands.] All of the good [things that] the Lord had [said] to the house of Israel [happened,] & not [even 1 of them] failed [to happen.]
