About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 11:1-54 The Crowd Challenges Jesus Christ as He Casts Out Demons

The Crowd Challenges Jesus Christ as He Casts Out Demons

Luke 11:1-54          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And as [Jesus] was praying in a certain place, it [happened,] when He [stopped] [praying,] 1 of His disciples said to Him, Lord, teach us to pray, [like] John also taught his disciples.

And [Jesus] said to them, When you pray, say, Our Father, [Who] art in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, [on] earth, as in heaven. Give us [each] day, our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, [a.k.a. trespasses,] for we [should] also forgive everyone, [who] is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

And [Jesus] said to them, Which of you, [who has] a friend, & [goes] to him at midnight, & [says] to him, Friend, lend me 3 loaves [of bread,] [since] a friend of mine [on] his journey [has] come to me, & I have nothing to [put in front of] him?

And he, [who is] [inside,] shall answer & say, [Don't] trouble me. The door is now shut, & my children [and] [I] are in bed, & I can't rise & give [it to] you. I say to you, [Although] he won't rise & give [it to] him, [but] because he is his friend, & his [insistence up till now,] he will rise & give him as many [loaves] as he [needs.]

And I say to you, Ask, & it shall be given [to] you. Seek, & you shall find. Knock, & it shall be opened to you. [James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask [from] God, [Who] gives to all men [generously,] & [doesn't scold.] And it shall be given to him. But let him ask in faith, [not] wavering. For he, [who wavers] is like a wave of the sea driven & tossed with the wind.]

For everyone, [who asks, receives.] And he, [who seeks, finds.] And to him, [who knocks,] it shall be opened. [Revelation 3:20-22 [Look,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me.

I will grant to him, [who overcomes,] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & am [sitting] down with My Father, [on] His throne. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [says] to the churches.]

If a son shall ask [for] bread [from] any of you, [who] is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he [asks] [for] a fish, will he give him a serpent, [a.k.a. snake,] [instead of] a fish?

Or if he shall ask [for] an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? Then, if you being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to [those, who] ask Him?

*And [Jesus] was casting out a [demon,] & it was dumb, [a.k.a. mute.] And it [happened,] when the [demon had left,] the [mute spoke;] & the people wondered. [Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened. And the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then, the lame man shall leap [like a deer.] And the tongue of the dumb [shall] sing. For waters break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

But some of them said, He [casts] out [demons,] through Beelzebub, the chief of the [demons.] And others, [testing] Him, sought a sign from heaven [from] Him. But [Jesus,] knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself, is brought to desolation; & a house divided against a house, [falls.]

Because, you say that I cast out demons through Beelzebub, If Satan [is] also divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? And if I cast out [demons] by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges.

But if I, with the finger of God, cast out [demons,] no doubt the Kingdom of God [has] come upon you. When [an] armed, strong man keeps, [a.k.a. guards,] his palace, his goods, [a.k.a possessions,] are [at] peace. [Mark 7:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house & [plunder] his goods, [unless] he 1st [ties] the strong man [up.] And then, he will [plunder] his house.

But when a stronger [one,] than he, shall come upon him, & [overcomes] him, & he [takes] all his [armor] from him, [in which] he trusted, & [divides] his [plunder.] He, [who] isn't with Me, is against Me. And he, [who doesn't] gather [believers] with Me, [scatters.]

When the unclean spirit [has] gone out of a man, & [ the demon walks] through dry places, seeking rest, & [finds] none, he [says,] I will return to my house, [from] [where] I came out. And when [the] [demon comes,] he [finds] it swept & [decorated.]

Then, he [goes] & [takes with] him 7 other spirits, more wicked than [he] [is.] And they enter in, & dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the [beginning.]

And as [Jesus spoke] these things, [it happened,] a certain woman [from] the [group] lifted up her voice, & said to [Jesus,] Blessed is the womb that [bore] You, & the [breasts] which You [have] sucked. But [Jesus] said, [Yes, instead,] blessed are [those, who] hear the Word of God & keep it.

And when the people were gathered, [crowded] together, [Jesus] began to say, This is an evil generation. They seek [for] a sign, but no sign shall be given [to] it, [except] the sign of [Jonah,] the prophet. For [like [Jonah] was a sign to the Ninevites, so shall the Son of Man also be to this generation.

The Queen of the South, [a.k.a. the  Queen of Sheba,] shall rise up in judgment with the men of this generation, & condemn them. For she came from the [furthest] parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, And, [look,] a [more] [significant] than Solomon is here.

The men of [Nineveh,] shall rise up, in judgment [against] this generation, & shall condemn it. For they, [a.k.a. the Ninevites,] repented at the preaching of [Jonah.] And [see,] a [more] [significant] than [Jonah] is here.

No man, when he has [lit] a candle, [puts] it in a secret place, & neither under a bushel, [a.k.a. basket,] but [puts it] on a candlestick, [so] that [those, who] come in may see the light.

The eye is the light of the body. Therefore, when your eye is single, [a.k.a. focused,] your whole body is also full of light. But when your eye is evil, your body is also full of darkness. Therefore, [pay attention,] that the light [that] is [within] you [isn't] darkness. [Isaiah 49:6 *And [God] said, It is a light thing that You [should] be My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, & to restore the preserved, [a.k.a. saved] of Israel. I will also give You for a Light to the Gentiles, [so] that You [may] be My Salvation to the [ends] of the earth.]

Therefore, if your whole body [is] full of Light, having no dark part, the whole [body] shall be full of Light, [like] when the bright, shining candle [gives] you light. [1 John 1:7 But if we walk, [a.k.a. follow,] in the Light, [like] He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, [cleanses] us from all sin.]

And as [Jesus spoke,] a certain Pharisee, [asked] Him to dine with him. And [Jesus] went in, & sat down to [dinner.] And when the Pharisee saw it, he [marveled] that [Jesus] hadn't 1st washed before dinner.

And the Lord said to him, Now, you, Pharisees, make the outside of the cup & platter clean; but [inside you're] full of [ravaging] & wickedness. You fools, didn't He, [Who] made [what] is [outside,] also make [what] is [inside?] But [instead] [you] give [donations] of such things as you have. And, [look,] all things are clean [for] you.

[Isaiah 58:7 *Isn't it [more important] to [divide] your bread to the hungry, & that you bring the poor, [who] are [outcasts, into] your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him. And that you [don't] hide yourself from your own flesh [& blood.

But woe, [a.k.a. distress,] to you, Pharisees! For you tithe, [a k.a. 10% donation,] [of] mint & rue, [a.k.a. bitter herb,] & all [types] of herbs, & [skip] over [justice] & the love of God. You ought to have done these, & not leave the [others] undone.

Woe to you, Pharisees! For you love the [highest] seats in the synagogues, & greetings in the markets. Woe to you, scribes & Pharisees, hypocrites, [a.k.a. those who say one thing & do another!] For you are [like] graves that [aren't able to be seen,] & the men, [who] walk over them aren't aware of them.

Then, one of the lawyers answered, & said to [Jesus,] Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] You also [scold] us [with] [this] saying. And [Jesus] said, Woe to you lawyers, also! For you [load] men with grievous burdens [to carry,] & you, yourselves [wouldn't] touch the burdens with 1 of your fingers.

Woe to you! For you build the [prophet's tombs,] & your [forefathers] killed them. Truly, you [testify] that you allow, [a.k.a. agree with,] the deeds of your [forefathers.] For indeed they killed them, & you build their [tombs.]

Therefore, the wisdom of God also said, I will send them prophets, & apostles, & they shall [kill] & persecute some of them. [Matthew 23:4 [For this reason,] I send you prophets, wise men, & scribes. And you shall kill & crucify some of them. And you shall scourge, [a.k.a. whip,] some of them in your synagogues, & persecute them from city to city.

[So] the blood of all the prophets, [that] was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required [from] this generation. [Matthew 23:37-39 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you, [who kill] the prophets & [stop those, who] are sent to [warn] you!

How often I would have gathered your children together, even [like] a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, & you would not! [See,] your house is left to you desolate. For I say to you, You shall not see Me [from now on, until] you shall say, Blessed is He, [Who] comes in the Name of the Lord.

From the blood of Abel to the blood of [Zachariah, who] perished between the altar & the temple. [Truly,] I say to you, It shall be required [from] this generation.

Woe to you, lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; & you [didn't] enter in yourselves. And you hindered [those, who] were entering in. And [Jesus] said these things to them.

The scribes & Pharisees began to [vigorously] urge [Jesus,] & to provoke Him to [talk about] many things. Laying [in] wait for [Jesus,] [in order] to catch something [He] [said,] [so,] that they might accuse [Jesus.]

Luke 10:1-42 Jesus Appoints 70 Additional Disciples to Preach About the Kingdom of God

Jesus Appoints 70 Additional Disciples to Preach About the Kingdom of God

Luke 10:1-42          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

After these things, the Lord also appointed [an additional] 70 [disciples,] & sent them before His face, [in pairs of] 2 , into every city & place, [where] He, Himself would come.

Therefore, [Jesus] said to them, The harvest is truly [large,] but the [laborers] are few. Therefore, you pray [to] the Lord of the Harvest, that He would send [out laborers] into the Harvest. Go [on] your ways. [Watch,] I send you [out like] lambs among wolves. [Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, [who] come to you in sheep's clothing, but [inside,] they are [ravenous] wolves.]

Carry neither: purse, [bag,] nor shoes, & [greet] no man by the [road.] And first say, Peace be to this house, [in] [whatever] house you enter into. And if the Son of Peace [is] there, your peace shall rest upon it. If not, it shall [return] to you again.

And remain in the same house, eating & drinking such things as they give. For the [laborer] is worthy of his hire, [a.k.a. wages.] [Don't] go from house to house. And [whatever] city you enter into, [if] they receive, [a.k.a. welcome,] you, eat such things as are [put in front of] you.

And heal the sick that are [in it,] & say to them, The Kingdom of God [has] come [near] to you. But [in] [whatever] city you enter into, & they [don't welcome] you, go [on] your [way,] out into the streets of the same [city,] & say, We wipe off against you, even the very dust of your city, [that clings] on us.

[However,] be sure of this, that the Kingdom of God [has] come [near] to you.  But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable for Sodom [on] that day, than for that city. Woe, [a.k.a distress,] to you, Charazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!

For if the mighty works, [a.k.a. miracles,] had been done in Tyre, [a.k.a. Tyrus,] & Sidon, [that] have been done in you, they [would have] repented a great while ago, sitting in sackcloth & ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre & Sindon [on] the [day of] Judgment, than for you. And you, Capernaum, which [is] exalted to [up to] heaven, [shall] be thrust down to hell.

He, [who hears] you, [hears] Me. And he, [who despises] you, [despises] Him, [Who] sent Me. And the 70 returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the [demons] are subject to us, through Your Name.

And [Jesus] said to them, I [saw] Satan, [falling] from heaven, [like] lightning. [Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven. Michael & his Angels fought against the dragon. And the dragon & his angels fought, & [didn't] prevail, [a.k.a. triumph,] & neither was there [a] place found [for them,] anymore in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, [a.k.a. a snake,] the Devil, & Satan, which [deceives] the whole world. He was cast out into the earth & his angels were cast out with him.]

[See,] I give to you power to [trample] on serpents, & scorpions, & all power over the enemy. And nothing, shall by any means [harm] you. [Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow [those, who] believe. They shall cast out [demons] in My Name. They shall speak with new [languages.] They shall [pick] up serpents, & if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not [harm] them. They shall lay hands on the sick, & they shall recover.

However, don't] rejoice that the spirits are subject to you. *But [instead,] rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. [Isaiah 4:3-4 *And it shall [happen,] that he, [who] is left in Zion, & he, [who remains] in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even everyone, [who] is written among the living in Jerusalem. When the Lord [has] washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, & shall have purged, [a.k.a. cleansed,] the [bloodshed] of Jerusalem from the midst [of it,] by the spirit of judgment & burning.]

[During] that hour, Jesus rejoiced in Spirit, & said, O Father, Lord of heaven & earth, I thank you that You [have hidden] these things from the wise & [shrewd,] & have revealed them unto babes, [a.k.a. inexperienced in sharing their faith in Christ.] Father, even so, for it seemed good in Your sight.

All things are [given] to Me [by] My Father. And no man [knows] Who the Son is, [except] the Father. And [no man knows] Who the Father is, [except] the Son, & he, to whom the Son will reveal Him.

And [Jesus] turned [Himself] to His disciples, & privately said, Blessed are the eyes, [that] see these things that you see. For I tell you, that many prophets & kings have desired to see those things, [that] you see, & haven't seen them; & to hear those things [that] you hear, & haven't heard them.

And, [look,] a certain lawyer stood up, & [tested Jesus,] saying, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] what shall I do to inherit eternal life? [Jesus] said to him, What is written in the law? [What have] you [read?]

And he [answered] & said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, & with all your soul, & with all your strength, & with all your mind. And [love] your neighbor as yourself. And [Jesus] said to him, You [have] answered [correctly.] Do this, & you shall live.

But he, [wanting] to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor? And Jesus [answered] I said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem, to Jericho, & fell among thieves, [who] stripped him of his [clothing,] & wounded him, & [left,] leaving him half dead.

And by chance, a certain priest came there, down that [road.] And when he saw him, he [crossed] by on the other side. And a Levite, [did the same,] when he was at the place, & came & looked [at] him, & [crossed] by on the other side.

But a certain Samaritan came where he was, as he journeyed. And when he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, & [bandaged] up his wounds, pouring oil & wine [on it,] & [put] him on his own [animal,] & brought him to an inn, & took care of him.

And on the [next day,] when he departed, he took out 2 pence, & gave them to the host [of the inn,] & said to him, Take care of him. And [whatever] more you [spend,] I will repay you, when I come again.

Now, which of these 3, [do] you [think,] was a neighbor to him, [who] fell among the thieves? And he said, He, [who showed ] mercy [to] him. Then, Jesus said to him, Go, & you do likewise, [a.k.a. the same.] [Proverbs 14:21 He, [who despises] his [neighbor sins:] but he is happy, [who has] mercy on the poor.]

Now, it [happened,] as they went, that [Jesus] entered into a certain village. And a certain woman, named Martha received, [a.k.a. welcomed,] Him into her house. And she had a sister, called Mary, [who] also sat at Jesus' feet, & heard His Word.

But Martha was [weighed down] [with] much serving, & came to [Jesus.] And said, Lord, [don't] You care that my sister [has] left me to serve alone? Therefore, [tell] her that she [should] help me.

And Jesus answered, & said to her, Martha, Martha, you [are distracted,] & troubled about many things. But one thing is [necessary,] & Mary [has] chosen [the] good part, [that] shall not be taken away from her.

[Psalm 27:4 One of the things I have desired [from] the Lord, & that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life, to [see] the beauty of the Lord, & to [inquire] in His temple.]

Luke 9:1-62 The Witnessed Account in Luke of Jesus Feeding 5,000

The Witnessed Account in Luke of Jesus Feeding 5,000

Luke 9:1-62          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, [Jesus] called His 12 disciples together, & gave them power & authority to cure diseases, & over all [demons.] And [Jesus] sent them to preach [about] the Kingdom of God, & to heal the sick. And [Jesus] said to them, Take nothing for your journey. [Not staffs, a.k.a. walking sticks,] nor: [bags,] bread, & [not] money. Neither [should each] have 2 coats.

And [whichever] house you enter into, [stay] there, & depart [from there.] And [whoever] won't receive, [a.k.a. welcome,] you, shake off the [actual] dust from your feet, when you go out of that city, for a testimony against them. And they [left] & went through the towns, preaching the Gospel, & healing everywhere.

Now, Herod, the tetrarch, [a.k.a. monarch,] heard of all that was done by [Jesus.] And [Herod] was perplexed, because it was said [by] some, that John [the Baptist, had] risen from the dead. And some [said,] that [Elijah] had appeared. And others [said,] that one of the old prophets [had] risen again.

And Herod said, I have beheaded John, but Who is this, of Whom I hear such things? And [Herod] desired to see [Jesus.] And when the apostles [had] returned, told [Jesus] all that they had done. And [Jesus] took them, & went aside privately, into a [deserted] place, belonging to the city, called Bethsaida. And when the people knew it, followed [Jesus.]

*And [Jesus welcomed] them, & [spoke] to them [about] the Kingdom of God, & healed, [those, who needed] healing. [Isaiah 42:6-8 In righteousness, I, the Lord, have called You, & will hold Your hand. And will keep You, & give You for a Covenant, [a.k.a. contract, for] the people, & for a Light [for] the Gentiles. *To open the blind eyes, to bring prisoners out from the prison, & [bring] [those, who] sit in darkness, out of the [prisons.] I Am the Lord. That is My Name. And I won't give My glory, [nor] My praise to [carved] images.]

And when the day began to wear away, then the 12 came, & said to [Jesus,] Send the multitude away, [so] that they may go into the towns & country [all around,] & lodge, & get [food: since] we are here, in a [deserted] place. But [Jesus] said to them, You, give them [something] to eat.

And they said, We have no more [than] 5 loaves [of bread,] & 2 [fish; unless] we go & buy meat, [a.k.a. food,] for all this people. For [there] were about 5,000 men. And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Make them sit down in [groups of] 50's. And they did so, & made them all sit down.

Then, [Jesus] took the 5 loaves & the 2 [fish,] & looking up to heaven, He blessed & [broke] them, & gave [it] to the disciples to [put] before the multitude. And they [ate] & were filled. And there [were] 12 baskets taken up of fragments that remained.

And it [happened,] as [Jesus] was alone praying, & His disciples were with Him, [Jesus] asked them, saying, Whom [do] the people say that I Am? They [answered] & said, John the Baptist. But some say, [Elijah;] & others say, that one of the old prophets [has] risen again. [Jesus] said to them, But Whom [do] you say that I Am?

Peter [answered] & said, The Christ of God. And [immediately Jesus strictly] charged & commanded them to tell that to no man. *[Jesus] [said,] *The Son of Man must suffer many things. [Luke 22:63-65 *And the men [who] held Jesus mocked Him, & [struck] Him. And when they had blindfolded Him, they struck [Jesus] on the face, & asked him, saying, Prophesy, who it is that [struck] You? And they [spoke] many other blasphemous things against Him.]

*And be rejected [by] the elders, chief priests, & scribes. [Luke 22:66-71 *And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people, chief priests & scribes came together, & led [Jesus,] into their council saying, [Are] You the Christ? Tell us. And [Jesus] said to them, If I tell you, you won't believe. And if I also ask you, you won't answer Me, nor let Me go. [From now on,] the Son of Man shall sit on the right hand [side] of the power of God. Then, they said, [Why] [do] we need any further [witnesses?] For we, ourselves, have heard [from] His Own Mouth.]

*And be slain. [Luke 23:46-47 *And when Jesus had cried [out] with a loud voice, He said, Father I commend My Spirit into Your hands. And having said this, [Jesus] gave up the ghost, [a.k.a. died.] Now, when the Centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous Man.]

*And be raised [on] the third day. [Luke 24:33-40 *And they rose up the same hour, & returned to Jerusalem, & found the 11 gathered together, & [those, who] were with them. [They said,] The Lord is indeed risen, & [has] appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done [on] the [road,] & how [Jesus] was known [by] them in breaking [the] bread.

And as they [spoke this,] Jesus stood in the midst of them, Himself, & [said] to them, Peace be to you. But they were terrified, & [frightened, thinking] they had seen a spirit, [a.k.a. a ghost.] And [Jesus] said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do [these] thoughts arise in your hearts? [See,] My hands, & My feet, that it is I, Myself. Handle Me, & see; for a spirit [doesn't have] flesh & bones, [like] you see [I] have. And when [Jesus] had spoken [this,] He [showed] them His hands & His feet.]

And [Jesus] said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, & take up his cross daily, & follow Me. For [whoever wants] [to] save his life, shall lose it. But [whoever is willing] [to] lose his life for My sake, the same [person] shall save it. For what is a man [benefited,] if he [gains] the whole world, & [loses] himself, or [is] cast away?

For [whoever] shall be ashamed of Me, & [ashamed] of My Words, the Son of Man shall be ashamed of him, & when He shall come in His own glory, & in His Father's [glory,] & [glory] of the Holy Angels. But I tell you [truthfully,] there shall be some standing here, [who] shall not taste of death, [until,] they see the Kingdom of God.

And it [happened] about 8 days after these sayings, [Jesus] took Peter, John, & James, & went up into a mountain to pray. And as [Jesus] prayed, the [appearance] of His countenance, [a.k.a. face,] was [changed,] & His [clothing] was white & [glistening.]

And, [they] [saw] 2 men talked with [Jesus,] there, [who] were Moses, & [Elijah;] who appeared in glory, & [spoke] of [Jesus' death,] which He should [fulfill in] Jerusalem. But Peter & [those, who] were with him, were heavy with sleep. And when they were awake, they saw [Jesus'] glory, & the 2 men [who] stood with [Jesus.]

And as they departed from [Jesus,] it [happened,] Peter said to Jesus, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] it's good for us to be here. Let us make 3 tabernacles, [a.k.a. tents or shelters;] 1 for You, 1 for Moses, & 1 for [Elijah, without understanding] what he said. While [Peter said this,] a cloud came there, & overshadowed them.

And they [were] [fearful] as they entered into the cloud. *And a voice came there, out of the cloud, saying, This is My beloved Son; hear Him. [Psalm 1:6-7 [Still,] I [put] My King upon My Holy hill of Zion. *I will [proclaim] a decree: The Lord [has] said to Me, You [are] My Son; & this day I have begotten You.]

And the voice was [finished,] Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, [a.k.a. within their hearts,] & [during] those days, [they] told no man any of those things [that] they had seen. And it [happened,] that the next day, when they [had] come down from the hill, [many] people met [up with] [Jesus.]

And, [saw,] a man [from the group,] cried out, saying, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] I [beg] You, look upon my son. For he is my only child. And, [look,] a spirit, [a.k.a. demon,] takes him, & he suddenly cries out. And it [causes] him [to have convulsions, so] that he foams again, bruising him, & [barely departs] from him.

And I [begged] Your disciples, to cast [the demon] out [of] him, [but] they couldn't. And answering, Jesus said, O faithless, [a.k.a. unbelieving,] and [troublesome] generation. How long shall I be with you, & [put up with] you? Bring your son [here.] And as he was [still] coming, the [demon] threw him down, & [convulsed] him.

*And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, & healed the child, & delivered him again to his father. [Isaiah 29:19-20 *The meek, [a.k.a. humble,] shall also increase their joy in the Lord, & the poor among men, shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the terrible one is brought to [nothing,] & the scorner is consumed, [a.k.a. destroyed.] And all [who] watch for [opportunities for] [sinfulness,] are cut off.]

And they all were amazed at the mighty power of God. But while everyone wondered [about] all [these] things [that] Jesus did, *He said to His disciples, Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men. [Luke 22:52-54 *Then, Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, & the elders, [who had] come to Him, [Have] you come out, [like] against a thief, with swords & [clubs?] When I was with you daily in the temple, you [didn't] stretch [out] [your] hands against Me. But this is the power of darkness & your hour. Then, they [seized Jesus,] & led Him, & brought Him to the high priest's house. And Peter followed [far away.]

But they [didn't] understand this saying, & it was [hidden] from them, [so] that they [didn't consider] it. And they [were] [afraid] to ask [Jesus about] that saying. Then, a [dispute] arose there among them, [about] which of them should be [the] greatest.

And Jesus, [realizing] the [thoughts] of their [hearts,] took a child & [put] him by Him, & said to them, [Whoever] shall receive this child in My Name, receives Me. And [whoever] shall receive Me, receives Him, [Who] sent Me. For he, [who] is least among all [of] you, the same shall be great.

And John answered & said, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] we saw [someone] casting out [demons] in Your Name. And we [forbid] him, because he [doesn't follow] with us. And Jesus said to [John,] [Don't] forbid him. For he, [who] isn't against us, is for us.

And it [happened,] when the time was [approaching] that He should be received up [into heaven,] [Jesus focused] His face to go to Jerusalem, & sent messengers, [in front of HIm.] And they went & entered into a village of Samaritans, to make [things] ready for [Jesus.]

And [the Samaritans didn't] receive, [a.k.a. welcome, Jesus,] because His face, [was focused] as though He would go to Jerusalem. [John 4:9 Then the woman of Samaria said to [Jesus,] How is it that You, being a Jew, [ask] [a] drink [from] me, [since I] am a woman [from] Samaria? For Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.]

And when [Jesus'] disciples, James & John saw [the Samaritans didn't welcome Jesus,] they said, Lord, [do] You [want] that we command fire to come down from heaven, & consume, [a.k.a. destroy,] them, even [like] [Elijah] did? [2 Kings 1:9-10 Then the king sent a captain of 50 to [Elijah,] with his 50 [men.]

And he went up to [Elijah;] & [saw] he sat on the top of [a] hill. And he [spoke] to [Elijah,] You man of God, the king [has] said, Come down. And Elijah answered & said to the captain of 50, If I [am] a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, & consume you & your 50. And fire came down from heaven there, & consumed him & his 50 [men.

But [Jesus] turned, & [scolded] them, & said, You [don't] know what [type] of spirit you are [from.] For the Son of Man [hasn't] come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. And it [happened,] that, as they went [on] the [road,] a certain man said to [Jesus,] Lord, I will follow You [wherever] You [go.]

And Jesus said to him, Foxes have holes, & the birds of the air have nests. But the Son of Man [has nowhere] to lay His head.

And [Jesus] said to another, Follow Me. But he said, Lord, [allow] me to first go & bury my father. And Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead. But you go & preach the Kingdom of God.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow You; but let me first go [say] farewell [to] [those, who] are at home [in] my house. And Jesus said to him, No man, having put his hand to the [plow,] & [looks] back, is fit for the Kingdom of God. [Hebrew 10:38-39 Now, the just, [a.k.a. righteous,] shall live by faith. But if any man [turns] back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we aren't of [those] who [turn] back to perdition, [a.k.a. destruction;] but [from those, who] believe, [which leads] to saving the soul.]
