About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 3:1-38 Jesus' Lineage to Adam

Jesus' Lineage to Adam

Luke 3:1-38          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks

Now, [during] the 15th year of Tiberius [Caesar's rule,] Pontius Pilate [was] [the] governor of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea.] And Herod [was] the tetrarch, [a.k.a. monarch,] of Galilee. And [Herod's] brother, Philip, [was the] [monarch] of Ituraea, & the [regions] of: Trachonitis, Lysanias, & Abilene.

Annas & Caiaphas, [were] the high priests. The Word of God came to John, [Zachariah's] son, in the wilderness. *And [John] came into all the country [around] [the] Jordan [River,] preaching [about] the baptism of repentance, for the remission, [a.k.a. forgiveness,] of sins.

As the words of [Isaiah,] the prophet, [are] written in the Book, saying, the voice of one crying [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord. Make His paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, & every mountain & hill shall be brought low. And the crooked [places] shall be straight, & the rough [roads] shall be made smooth.

[Isaiah 40:3-4 *The voice of him, [who] cries [out] in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, & every mountain & hill shall be made low. And the crooked [places] shall be made straight, & the rough places [smooth.]

*And all flesh shall see the Salvation of God. [Psalm 98:2-3 *The Lord [has] made known His Salvation. He [has] openly [shown] His righteousness in the sight of the heathen. He [has] remembered His mercy & His Truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the Salvation of our God.]

Then [John] said to the multitude, [who] came [out,] to be baptized [by] him, O generations of vipers, [a.k.a. poisonous snakes,] who [has] warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore, [produce] fruits worthy of repentance, & [don't] say within yourselves, We have Abraham [as] our father.

For I say to you, That God is able to raise up children to Abraham [from] these stones. And now, the axe is also laid to the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree [that doesn't produce] good fruit is [cut] down, & cast into the fire. And the people asked [John,] saying, What shall we do then?

[John answered] & said to them, He, [who has] 2 coats, let him [give] to him, [who] has none. And he, [who] has meat, [a.k.a. food,] let him do [the same.] Then, the publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] also came to be baptized, & said to [John,] Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] what shall we do?

And [John] said to them, [Don't charge] more than [what] is appointed [to] you. And the soldiers [also] demanded [from John,] saying, And what shall we do? and [John] said to them, Do no violence to [any] man, & neither falsely accuse any; be content with your wages.

And the people were [hoping,] & all men [reasoned] in their hearts [about] John, whether he [was] the Christ, or not. John answered, saying to all [of] them, Indeed, I baptize you with water. But One comes, mightier than I. The [buckle,] of whose shoes, I'm not worthy to [loosen.] He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & with fire.

[John 7:39 (But He [spoke] this [about] the Spirit, [that those who] believe [in] Him, should receive. For the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] wasn't given yet; because Jesus [hadn't] been glorified yet.)]

Whose fan is in His hand, & He will [thoroughly] purge His floor, & will gather the wheat into His garner, [a.k.a. storage place.] But the chaff, [a.k.a. stubble,] He will burn with unquenchable fire. And [John] preached to the people many other things in his [teaching.]

But Herod, the [monarch,] [was scolded] by [John the Baptist, about Herod's] brother, Philip's wife, & for all the [evil that] Herod had done. [Additionally,] above all this, [Herod locked] John up in prison.

[Mark 6:17-18 For Herod, himself, sent [out] & had John [seized,] & [chained] him in prison, [for] the sake of [Herodias,] his brother, Philip's wife. For [Herod] had married her. For John had said to Herod, It isn't lawful for you to have your brother's wife.]

Now, when all the people were baptized, it [happened,] that Jesus, [Who] also [was] baptized, & [was] praying, & the heaven was opened. And the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] descended, [a.k.a. went down,] upon [Jesus,] in a bodily shape like a dove, [Who] said, You are My beloved Son. I Am well pleased in You.

And Jesus, Himself, [had begun] to be about 30 years of age, being (as was [thought]) the son of Joseph, who was the son of Heli. [Heli,] [who] was the son of Matthat. [Matthat,] [who] was the son of Levi. [Levi] [who] was the son of Melchi. [Melchi,] [who] as the son of Janna.
