About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Samuel 7:1-29 The Lord God Blessed David’s Lineage Foretelling of Jesus

The Lord God Blessed David’s Lineage Foretelling of Jesus

2 Samuel 7:1-29       The Book of 2 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

It [happened,] when king [David] sat in his house & the Lord had given him rest [all around] from his enemies; King [David] said to Nathan, the prophet, Now see, I [live] in a house of cedar, but the Ark of God [dwells] within curtains [in a tent.]

And Nathan said to king [David,] Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you. That night, the Word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying, Go & tell My servant, David, the Lord says [this,] Shall you build Me a house for Me to dwell in?

[The fact is,] I haven’t dwelt in any house, since the time that I brought up the children [people] of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have [moved from place to place] in a tent & in a tabernacle.

In all the places [where] I walked [along] with all the children [people] of Israel, [did I ever say to] any of the tribes of Israel, whom I command to feed My people, saying, Why [haven’t] you built Me a house of cedar?

Therefore, now say to My servant, David, The Lord of Hosts [says this,] I took you from following the sheep, to be [the] ruler over Israel, My people. I was with you [wherever] you went & have [destroyed] all your enemies out of your sight & have made [your] name great, like the [honored] men, in the [world.]

[Additionally,] I will [select] a place for My people, Israel & I will plant them [there, so] that they may [live] in a place of their own & no [longer] move. Neither shall children [people] of wickedness afflict them anymore, [like they did before.]

Since the time I have commanded judges to be over My people, Israel & have [made it possible for] you to rest from all of your enemies. The Lord also [told] you that He will make you a house.

*And when your days [are] fulfilled & you sleep with your [forefathers,] I will [raise] up [one of] your [descendents, from your own body] after you, & I will establish His kingdom.

[Matthew 1:17 So, all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations. From David until the carrying away [captive] to Babylon are 14 generations. And from the carrying away [captive into] Babylon [until] Christ are 14 generations.]

*He shall build a house for My Name & I will [establish] the throne of His kingdom forever. I will be His Father & He will be My Son. [John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He [who] believes in Him, is not condemned: but he [who doesn’t] believe is condemned already, because he didn’t believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.]

If he commits iniquity, I will [correct] him with the rod of men & with the stripes of the children of men. But My mercy shall not depart from him, [like] I [took it] away from Saul, whom I [removed from] you.

And your house & your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever. [Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to His [actions.]]

Nathan [spoke] to David, according to all these words [of his] vision. [When] David went & sat before the Lord, he said, Who am I, O Lord God? What is my house that you have brought me [here?]

This was [still] a small thing in Your sight, O Lord God, but You have spoken of the house of your [servant, for a long time] to come. Is this the [type of kindness You normally show] man, O Lord God?

What more can [I,] David, say to You? For You, Lord God, know Your servant. For according to Your Own heart & Your Word’s sake, You [have] done all these great things & [made] them [known to] Your servant.

For this reason,] You are great, O Lord God, for there is none like You. Neither is there any God [besides] You, according to all we have heard with our ears. And what one nation in the [world] is even like Israel, Your people, whom God went to redeem [as] a people [for] Himself & to make Him a Name.

And. You [did] great & [awesome] things, before your people in Your land, [that] You have redeemed to You from Egypt, from the nations & their gods. For You [have] confirmed Your people, Israel, to Yourself, to be a people [for] You forever & You, Lord, [have] become their God.

Now, O Lord God, the word You have spoken [about me,] Your servant & his house, establish it forever & do [just] as You have said. And let Your Name be magnified forever, saying, The Lord of Hosts is the God over Israel & let the house of Your servant, David, be established before You.

For You, O Lord of Hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to Your servant, saying, I will build you a house. Therefore, Your servant has found [it] in his heart to pray this prayer to You.

And now, O Lord God, You are God & Your words [are] true & You have promised this goodness to Your servant. Therefore, let it now please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue forever before You.

For You, O Lord God, have spoken it & with Your blessing, let the house of Your servant be blessed forever.
