About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Numbers 1:1-54 The Lord Tells Moses to Take a Census of All the Congregation of Israel

The Lord Tells Moses to Take a Census of All the Congregation of Israel

Numbers 1:1-54   The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

In the Wilderness of Sinai, the Lord [spoke] to Moses, in the tabernacle, on the 1st day of the 2nd month, in the 2nd year after they left the land of Egypt, saying, Take a [census] of all the congregation of the children [people] of Israel, [by their generations,]  [by] their families, by their [father’s houses,] with the [total] number of their names,

[record] every male [1 by 1,] from 20 years old & [older who] are able to go to war in Israel. You & Aaron shall number them by their armies & with you, there shall be a man [from] every tribe. Each one, the head of his father’s house.

These are the names of the men [from each of the 12 tribes: who] shall stand with you [as you collect the census]: from [the tribe of] Reuben, Elizur, [Shedeur’s] son; from [the tribe of] Simeon, Shelumiel, [Zurishddai’s] son; from [the tribe of] Judah, Nashon, [Amminadab’s] son;

Okran;] from [the tribe of] Gad, Eliasaph, son of [Deul a.k.a. Deuel & Reul;] from [the tribe of] Naphtali, Ahira, [Enan’s] son.

These were [chosen] from the congregation [& were leaders] of their [father’s] tribes, heads of the 1,000's] in Israel. [Then,] Moses & Aaron took these men [designated] by name & they assembled all the congregation together on the 1st day of the 2nd month.

And they [all] declared their [ancestry] by their families, by their [father’s] houses, according to the number of names, [men] 20 years old & [older who] were able to go to war [& were recorded 1 by 1.] As the Lord commanded Moses, he numbered [& recorded] them in the Wilderness of Sinai.

The children [descendants] of Reuben, the eldest son of Israel [a.k.a. Jacob]  by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 46,500.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Simeon by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 59,300.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Judah by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 74,600.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Issachar by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 54,400.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Zebulun by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 57,400.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Ephraim by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 40,500.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Manasseh by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 32,200.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Benjamin by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 35,400.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Dan by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 62,700.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Asher by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 41,500.

Of the children [descendants] of the tribe of Naphtali by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 53,400.

[All these] were [counted by] Moses, Aaron & the [leaders] of Israel, 12 men, each from his [father’s tribe.] All who were [counted] of the children [people] of Israel by their generations, by their family, by their [father’s] houses, every male 20 years old & [older] able to go to war were: 603,550.

But the Levites of their [father’s tribes] were not [counted,] for the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying, Only you shall not [count] the tribe of Levi, [nor include them in the census total] of the children [people] of Israel.

But you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of Testimony & over all the vessels & the things that belong to it. They shall [carry] the tabernacle & all the vessels [of it.] They shall [take care of it] & [camp around] the tabernacle.

When the tabernacle [moves] forward, the Levites shall take it down & when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites will set it up. [Any] stranger [who] comes [near] shall be put to death.

And the children [people] of Israel shall [each] pitch their tent [with] his own camp & [banner] throughout their [armies.]

But the Levites shall [camp around] the tabernacle of Testimony, [so] there [isn’t any] wrath upon the congregation of the children [people] of Israel & the Levites are [in charge] of the tabernacle of Testimony.

The children [people] of Israel, did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses.
