About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

The Israelites Complain

Numbers 11:1-35               The Fourth Book of Moses Called Numbers

When the people complained, the Lord heard it & it displeased the Lord. The Lord’s anger [grew] & the fire of the Lord burnt among them & consumed [those who] were on the [outskirts] of the camp. The people cried to Moses. 

When Moses prayed to the Lord, the fire was quenched. [Moses] called the place Taberah; because of the [Lord’s] fire burning among them. The [mixed] multitude of the children [people] of Israel, [had cravings] & [cried out] again & said, Who shall give us [meat] to eat?

We remember the fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions & garlic, we used to eat freely in Egypt. Now our soul is dried [up] & [there’s] nothing at all before our eyes, [except for] this manna. The manna was [like] coriander seed & [its] color was [like] the color of bdellium. 

The people went [around] & gathered it & ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar & baked it in a pans & made cakes of it. [Its] taste was [like] the taste of fresh oil. And when the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna fell on it. Moses heard the people weep, at the door of their tents, throughout their families & the anger of the Lord [grew great] & Moses was also displeased.

Moses asked the Lord, Why have You afflicted Your servant? Why haven’t I found favor in Your sight, that You have [laid] the burden of all this people on me? Have I conceived or begotten all these people, that You should say to me, Carry them in your bosom, [like [like a father carries a nursing] child, into the land which You [swore] to their [forefathers?]

[Where] am I to get [enough meat] to give to all [these] people? For they weep to me, saying, Give us [meat] to eat. I am [unable] to bear the [burden] of this people alone, because it’s too heavy for me. If You deal this [way] with me, I pray that You kill me. If I’ve found favor in Your sight, [don’t let] me see [how wretched I am.] 

The Lord [told] Moses, Gather to Me 70 men [known] to be the elders of Israel, the elders of the people & officers over them & bring them into the tabernacle of the congregation, [so] they may stand there with you. I will come down [from heaven] & talk with you there. 

I will take [some] of the Spirit that is upon you & will put it on [the people with you, so] they shall bear the burden of the people with you. Say to the people, Sanctify yourselves tomorrow & you shall eat [meat.] For you have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying, Who shall give us [meat] to eat? For [things were good for] us in Egypt.

Therefore, the Lord will give you [meat] & you shall eat [of it.] You shall not [just] eat 1 day, 2, 5, 10, or 20 days. But [you shall eat it] a whole month until it comes out of your nostrils & is [disgusting] to you: because you have despised the Lord, [Who] is among you.

[You] have wept before Him, saying, Why [did we come here] out of Egypt? Moses said, The people [with me] are 600,000 footmen. You have said, I will give them [meat, so] that they may eat [it] a whole month. Shall [all] the flocks & herds be [killed] to [satisfy] them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together to [satisfy] them? 

The Lord said to Moses, Is the Lord’s hand [too short]? You shall now see whether My Word shall come to pass to you or not. Moses went out & told the people [what the Lord said] & gathered 70 men of the elders of the people & [put] them [around] the tabernacle. 

The Lord came down in a cloud & [spoke] to [Moses] & took [some of] the Spirit that was upon [Moses] & gave it to the 70 elders. It [happened] that when the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied & didn’t cease. But 2 men remained in the camp, [named] Eldad & Medad & [they didn’t go to the tabernacle, but] the Spirit rested on them & they prophesied in the camp. 

A young man ran & told Moses & said, Eldad & Medad [are prophesying] in the camp. Joshua, [Nun’s] son, a young servant of Moses, answered & said, My lord, Moses, forbid them. Moses said to [Joshua, Do you envy] them for my sake? [I wish] God [would make] all the Lord’s people prophets & the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!

Moses & the elders of Israel [went into] the camp. There [was] a wind from the Lord that [carried] quails from the sea & let them fall [around] the camp [within] a day’s journey on all sides of the camp, 2 cubits high over the [ground.] 

The people stood up all that day & night & all the next day, [gathering] the quails. [No one gathered less than] 10 homers. They spread [quails] out [around] the camp. While the [meat] was [still] in between their teeth [as they chewed it,] the [anger] of the Lord [grew] against the people.

The Lord [struck] them with a [severe] plague. [Moses] called the name of that place, Kibroth Hattaavah; because they buried the people [there who] lusted [for meat.] The people journeyed from Kibroth Hattaavah & [stayed in] Hazeroth.
