About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Leviticus 27:1-34 Redeeming Offerings Sanctified to the Lord

Redeeming Offerings Sanctified to the Lord

Leviticus 27:1-34          The Third Book of Moses Called Leviticus

The Lord [spoke] to Moses & told him to say to the children [people] of Israel, When a man makes an [special] vow [that he or a member of his family would do the service of] the Lord, [the priest would announce the amount of money for the person to be redeemed based on their age, sex & ability to work.]

Your estimation for [redeeming] a male 20-60 years old shall be 50 shekels of silver, according to the shekels of the sanctuary. If [it’s] a female, the estimation for [redeeming her] shall be 30 shekels. If [a person] is from 5 years old to 20 years old, [their] estimation [for redeeming them] is 20 shekels for a male & 10 for a female.

If [the person is] 1 month old [up to] 5 years old, [their] estimation [for redeeming them is] 5 shekels for the male & 3 shekels of silver for the female. If [the person is] 60 years old & above, then your estimation [for redeeming them is] 15 shekels for the male & 10 shekels for the female.

But if he [is too poor to pay] his estimation, then he shall present himself to the priest & the priest shall [assign a value for the person] according to his ability [to pay.]

If men bring an [animal] as an offering to the Lord, all that anyone gives to the Lord shall be holy. He shall not [substitute] or exchange it good for bad or bad for good & if he does [exchange animal for animal,] both [animals exchanged] shall be holy [& can’t be redeemed.]

If [the animal vowed] is an unclean [animal not acceptable as] a sacrifice to the Lord, the [animal must be presented to] the priest. The priest shall [assign a] value to it, whether it is good or bad. [Whatever the priest decides the value is, shall stand.] If the [person wants] to redeem it, he shall add 1/5 to the estimation the priest [determined.]

When a man [wants to] sanctify his house to be holy to the Lord, then the priest shall [set a value for] it & whether [it’s] good or bad, the price the priest sets shall stand. If the person who sanctifies it wants to redeem his house, then he must add 1/5 to the money of the [valuation of] it & it shall be his.

If a man [sanctifies] some part of his field of his possession to the Lord, then his [valuation] shall be according to the seed [for it.] A homer of barley seed shall be valued at 50 shekels of silver.

If he sanctifies his field until the year of Jubilee, according to your [valuation,] it shall stand. But if he sanctifies his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall [calculate] the amount of money [due] according to the number of years that remain [until] the year of Jubilee & it shall be [deducted] from your [valuation.]

If the person who sanctified it [wishes] to redeem [his field,] he shall add 1/5 to the money of the [valuation] & it shall [belong] to him. But if he [doesn’t want] to redeem [the field] or he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more, but the field when it is [released] in the Jubilee, shall be holy to the Lord, as a devoted field & it shall be the possession of the priests.

If a man sanctifies to the Lord a field which he bought, which isn’t the field of his possession, then the priest shall [calculate] the [value] of your estimation, up to the year of Jubilee & he shall give your [valuation on] that day as a holy [offering] to the Lord.

In the year of Jubilee, the field shall return to him [from] whom it was bought, to the one who [originally] owned the land as a possession. All your [valuation] shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: 20 gerahs to the shekel.

But the [firstborn] of the [animals,] which should be the Lord’s [firstborn,] no man should sanctify it, whether [it’s] an ox or sheep, it is the Lord’s. If it is an unclean [animal] then he shall redeem it according to your [valuation] & shall add 1/5 to it; or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your [valuation.]

[Nevertheless,] no devoted [offering] that a man devotes to the Lord of all that he has, both man & beast, or of field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted [offering] is most holy to the Lord.

[No person doomed to destruction by something like a death penalty] [can] be devoted by men to the Lord & be redeemed to [escape his penalty] & shall surely be put to death.

All the tithe [10%] of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s & it is most holy to the Lord. If a man [wants] at all [to] redeem [any] of his tithes, he shall add 1/5 to it. And concerning the tithe of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the 10th only shall be holy to the Lord.

He shall not search [to find out] if it is good or bad, neither shall he [exchange] it & if he [exchanges it at all,] then both it & the [animal exchanged] shall be holy [to the Lord] & shall not be redeemed. These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the children [people] of Israel on Mount Sinai.
