About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Deuteronomy 3:1-29 Retelling When the Possession of Land was First Given to the 2 ½ Tribes

Retelling When the Possession of Land was First Given to the 2 ½ Tribes

Deuteronomy 3:1-29      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

Then, we turned & went up the [road] to Bashan. Og, [Bashan’s] king & all his people came out to battle against us at Edrei. The Lord said to me, [Moses,] [Don’t be afraid] of him: for I will deliver him & all his people & his land into your hand.

You shall do to him as you did to Sihon, the [Amorites’] king, [who lived in] Heshbon. The Lord our God also delivered into our hands Og, [Bashan’s] king & all his people. We [attacked] him until there were none left, [who remained.]  We [captured] all his cities, at that time. We took [all:] 60 cities, all the region of Argob & [Og’s] kingdom in Bashan.

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates & bars, [in addition to] many unwanted towns. We [totally] destroyed the men, women & children of every city, like we did to Sihon, [Heshbon’s] king. We [only] took all the [livestock] as [plunder] for ourselves [from all] the cities.

At that time, we took the land from the 2 [Amorite] kings on this side of [the] Jordan [River,] from the Arnon River to Mount Hermon [a.k.a. (Sirion to the Sidonians & the Amorites called [Herman] Shenir.)

[We also took] all the cities of the plain & all of [both] Gilead & Bashan, [as far as] Salcah [a.k.a. Salecah] & Edrei, cities of [Og’s] kingdom in Bashan. Of the remnant of the giants, only Og, [Bashan’s] king, [had] remained.

His [bed] is in Rabbath, of the children [people] of [Ammon.]  [The bed was made] of iron & was 9 x 4 cubits [wide, according to] the cubit of a man, [approximately 13.5 x 6 feet wide.]

[From] this land we [now] possessed, at that time, I gave to the [tribes of Reuben & Gad the land] from Aroer, by the Arnon River & 1/2 of Mount Gilead [with their] cities. I gave to 1/2 the tribe of Manasseh, the rest of Gilead & all of Bashan of [Og’s] kingdom.

All the region of Argob, with all Bashan, was called the Land of [the] Giants. Jair, [Manasseh’s] son, took all the country of Argob to the coasts of Geshuri & Maachathi & called them [by] his own name, Bahsan Havoth Jair, to this day.

I gave Gilead to Machir. I gave to the [tribes of Reuben & Gad [the land] from Gilead, [as far as the River of Arnon, half the valley & the border, even to [the middle] of the River Jabbok, which is the border of [Ammon’s] children [people.]

Also, the plain & [the] Jordan [River] & [its coastal border,] from Chinnereth, even to the Salt Sea of the plain, [below] Ashdoth Pisgah [a.k.a. Pisgah,] [on the east.] At that time, I commanded you, saying, The Lord God has given you this land to possess it.

[All your men of valor] shall pass over armed [in front of] your brethren, the children [people] of Israel, all [who] are [ready] for war. But your wives, little ones & [livestock] shall [stay] in the cities which I have given [to] you, (for I know you have [many livestock].)

Until the Lord your God has given the rest to your brethren, as well as to you & until they also possess the land which the Lord your God has given them [on the other side of the] Jordan [River.] Then, you shall return to [your own] possession which I have given [to] you.

At that time, I commanded Joshua, saying, Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these 2 kings. The Lord shall do [the same] to all the kingdoms [where pass.] You shall not [be afraid of] them: for the Lord your God shall fight for you.

At that time, I [pleaded with] the Lord, saying, O Lord God, You have begun to show [me,] your servant, Your greatness & Your mighty hand. What God is there in heaven or in the earth, that can do according to Your works & Your might?

I pray [to] You, let me go over & see the good land that is beyond [the] Jordan [River] & that [beautiful] mountain & Lebanon. But the Lord was [angry] with me for your sakes & [wouldn’t listen] to me. The Lord said to me, Don’t speak to Me [anymore on] this matter.

let it [satisfy] you, [go] up to the top of Pisgah & [look west, north, south] & eastward & [see] it with [your own] eyes: for you shall not go over [the] Jordan. [Put] Joshua [in charge] & encourage & strengthen him. For he shall cause them to inherit the land [that] you shall see. So, we [stayed] in the valley [across from] Beth Peor.
