About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Deuteronomy 5:1-33 Reviewing the 10 Commandments

Reviewing the 10 Commandments

Deuteronomy 5:1-33      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

Moses called all [of] Israel & said to them, Hear, O Israel, the [mandates] & judgments [that] I [say] in your ears this day, [so] you may learn them & keep & do them. The Lord our God made a covenant [contract] with us in Horeb.

The Lord [didn’t] make this covenant with our [forefathers,] but with all of us who are alive here [today.] The Lord talked with you face to face in the Mount [Horeb a.k.a. Mount Sinai,] out of the midst of the fire.

(I stood in between the Lord & you at that time, to [reveal] the Word of the Lord to you, [since] you were afraid of the fire & [didn’t go] up into the mount.) [He said,] I am the Lord your God, [Who] brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage.

[Commandment 1] You shall [not] have [any] other gods before Me. [Commandment 2] You shall not make [for yourselves] any [carved] image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters beneath the earth.

You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for ,I the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the [sinfulness] of the fathers upon the children to the 3rd & 4th generation [of those who] hate Me & [showing] mercy to 1,000’s of [those who] love Me & keep My commandments.

[Commandment 3] You shall not take the Name of the Lord your God in vain: for the Lord will not hold [the person] guiltless [who takes] His Name in vain.

[Commandment 4] Keep the Sabbath Day & [treat it as holy,] as the Lord your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor & do all your work, but the 7th day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.

You shall not do any work [on it.] [Not] you, your sons, nor daughters, your [male servants] or your [female servants,] your ox, your [mule,] or any of your [livestock,] nor your stranger that is within your gates, [so] your [male servant] & your [female servant] may rest, as well as you.

Remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt & that the Lord your God brought you out [from there] through [His] mighty hand & [outstretched] arm. Therefore, the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath Day.

[Commandment 5] Honor your father & your mother, as the Lord your God [commands] you, [so] that your [life] may be prolonged & it may go well with you, in the land [that] the Lord your God [gives to] you.

[Commandment 6] You shall not kill [a.k.a. murder.] [Commandment 7] Neither shall you commit adultery. [Commandment 8] Neither shall you steal. [Commandment 9] Neither shall you bear false witness [tell lies] against your neighbor.

[Commandment 10] Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s wife, [or] covet his house, his field, his [male servant,] or his [female servant,] his ox, his [mule,] or anything that is your neighbor’s.

The Lord [spoke] these words in a [loud] voice to all [of] your assembly in the [mountain] out of the midst of the fire, the cloud & the thick darkness & He added no more. [The Lord God] wrote them [on] 2 [tablets] of stone & delivered them to me.

It [happened,] when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain [was burning] with fire,) [so] you & all the heads of your tribes & your elders came [close to] me.

You said, [Look,] the Lord our God has [shown] us His glory & His greatness & we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God [does] talk with man & he [lives.]

Therefore, why shall we now die? For this great fire will consume us: if we [stay here & listen] to the voice of the Lord our God any more, then we shall die. For [what human of flesh] has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, [like] we have & lived?

You [Moses] go near & hear all that the Lord our God [says] to you. And you speak to us all that the Lord our God shall [say] to you & we will [listen] to it & do it. And the Lord heard your words, when you [spoke] to me. The Lord said to me, I have heard the [voices] & words of [these] people, [who] have spoken to You.

They have [done] well [in] all that they have spoken. O [if they only had] a heart in them to always fear [respect] Me & keep all My commandments always, [so] it might be well with them & their children forever!

Go say to them [Israelites,] [Go] into your tents again. As for you, stand here by Me & I will speak to you all the commandments, [mandates] & judgments [that] you shall teach them, [so] they may do them in the land [that] I give [to] them to possess.

You shall observe & do [exactly] as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the [paths that] the Lord your God has commanded you, [so] you may live & it may be well with you & you prolong your [life] in the land [that] you shall possess.
