About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible::

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Deuteronomy 4:1-49 What Moses Says as He Looks at the Promised Land

What Moses Says as He Looks at the Promised Land

Deuteronomy 4:1-49      Deuteronomy the Fifth Book of Moses

Now [listen,] O Israel, to the [mandates] & judgments [that] I teach you, to do them, [so] you may live & go in to possess the land [that] the Lord God of your [forefathers gives to] you.

You shall not add to [or take away from] the words I command you, [so] you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God. Your eyes have seen what the Lord did, because of Baal Peor. For the Lord your God destroyed from among you, all the men [who] followed Baal Peor.

[Numbers 25:1-2 And Israel [stayed] in Shittim & the people began to commit [unfaithful harlotry,] with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods. And the people [ate] & bowed down to their gods.]

But every one of you [who clung] to the Lord your God are alive [today.] [Look,] as the Lord my God commanded me, I have taught you the statutes & judgments, [so] you do [them] in the land [where] you go in to possess it. Therefore keep & do them.

For in the sight of the nations, they will see your wisdom & understanding [when] they hear these [mandates] & say, Surely this great nation is wise & [has] understanding people.

[Is there any other] nation so great, [who] has God [very close] to them, [like] the Lord our God is [close] when we call upon Him [for] all things? [Is there any other] nation so great, that [has mandates] & judgments [as] righteous as this Law, [that] I [put] before you [today?]

Only [pay attention] to keep your soul diligently [focused,] lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen & they depart from your heart [the rest of your life.] [Instead,] teach them to your sons & your [grandsons, especially] the day you stood before the Lord your God [at Mount] Horeb [a.k.a. Mount Sinai.]

The Lord said to me, Gather the people together to Me & I [have] them hear My words, [so] they may learn to fear [respect] Me all the days that they live on the earth & [so] they may teach their children.

You [Israelites] came near & stood under the mountain & the mountain burned [with flames up] to the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds & thick darkness. The Lord [spoke] to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard [the Lord’s voice & what He said,] but [couldn’t see Him.]

[The Lord God] declared to you His covenant [contract, that] He commanded you to [do,] even [the] 10 Commandments; He wrote on 2 stone [tablets.] At that time, the Lord commanded me to teach you [mandates] & judgments, [so] you might do them in the land [where] you [are going] over to possess.

Therefore, [you need to pay close attention, because you didn’t see the Lord’s shape,] on the day that the Lord [spoke] to you out of the midst of the fire [at] Horeb [a.k.a Mount Sinai.]

Lest you corrupt yourselves & make yourselves an [carved] image, the [shape] of [anything] male or female, or the likeness of: any [animal] on the earth, [any] winged [bird] that flies in the air, [anything] that [creeps] on the ground, [any] fish in the waters beneath the earth.

Lest you lift your eyes up to heaven & when you see the sun, moon, stars & [constellations] & should be driven to worship them & serve them, which the Lord your God has [provided for the people of] all nations under the whole heaven.

But the Lord [has] taken you & brought you [out] of Egypt [from] the iron furnace to be to Him a people of inheritance, as you are [today.]

[Also,] the Lord was angry with me for your sakes & [swore] that I shouldn’t go over [the] Jordan [River] & go into that good land, [that] the Lord has given to you for an inheritance. But I must die in this land & I must not go over Jordan: but you shall go over & possess that good land.

You [pay attention,] lest you forget the covenant [contract] of the Lord your God, [that] He made with you & make an [carved] image or the likeness of anything, [that] the Lord your God has forbidden you. For the Lord God is a consuming fire & a jealous God.

When you [have] children & [grandchildren] & have remained in the land [a] long [time] & corrupt yourselves & make [carved images] or the likeness of anything & do evil in the sight of the Lord your God, to provoke Him to anger, I call heaven & earth to be [witnesses] against you this day.

[So] that you will [totally] perish [quickly] from the land [where] you go over Jordan to possess it. You shall not [extend your time] upon it, but shall be [totally] destroyed.

The Lord shall scatter you among the nations & you shall be few in number among the heathen, [where] the Lord shall lead you. You shall serve the gods there, the work of men’s hands, [of] wood & stone, which don’t see, hear, eat, [or] smell.

But, if from [there] you shall seek the Lord your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart & with all your soul. When all these things have come upon you & you are [troubled & in despair] & you turn to the Lord your God, even in the latter days & [you’re] obedient to His voice; (For the Lord God is a merciful God).

He will not [abandon] you, destroy you, [or] forget the covenant [contract] of your [forefathers that God swore] to them. Ask now [about former times,] that are past, which [happened] before [your time,] since the day God created man upon the earth.

Ask from 1 side of heaven to the other, whether [anything] as great as this has ever been [reported] or heard? [Have] people ever [heard] the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, [like] you heard & [lived?]

Or has God [decided] to take a nation [Israel] from the midst of another nation [Egypt,] by [trials,] by [miraculous] signs & wonders, by war, by a mighty hand & outstretched arm & great terrors, [like] the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

It was [shown] to you, [so] you might know that the Lord is God & [there is no other besides] Him. Out of heaven, [God] made you hear His voice, [so] He might instruct you. On earth, He [showed] you His [large] fire & you [heard] His words out of the midst of the fire.

Because [God] loved your [forefathers,] therefore He chose their [descendants] & brought you out of Egypt, in His sight with His mighty power. [In order] to drive out before you [bigger & stronger] nations than you are, to bring you in & to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is [today.]

[Remember] this day & consider it in your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above & upon earth beneath. There is [no other.]

Therefore, you shall keep His [mandates] & His commandments, which I have commanded you this day, [so] it may go well [for] you & your children after you.

[So] you may prolong your [life] upon the earth, [that] the Lord your God gives you, forever.

Then, Moses [set apart] 3 cities on this side [of the] Jordan toward the sunrise, [so] the [person who killed] his neighbor [accidentally] & [didn’t previously hate] him, [might] flee to 1 of these ties & he might live.

[These cities were:] Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country of the Reubenites, Ramoth in Gilead of the Gadites & Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites. This is the Law [that] Moses [put] before the children [people] of Israel.

These are the testimonies, [mandates] & judgments, [that] Moses [spoke] to the children [people] of Israel, after they came out of Egypt, on this side of [the] Jordan, in the valley [opposite to] Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon, the [Amorite’s] king, who [lived] in Heshbon, whom Moses & the children [people] of Israel [defeated,] after they came out of Egypt. The [Israelites] possessed [this] land & the land of Og, [Bashan’s] king.

[They were] 2 of the [Amorite’s] kings, [that] were on this side of [the] Jordan [River] toward the [sunrise,] from Aroer, which is by the bank of the Arnon River to Mount Sihon [a.k.a. Hermon] & all the plain on this side of Jordan eastward, to the [Dead Sea,] below the springs of Pisgah.
