About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Samuel 2:1-36 Hannah Lends Her Son, Samuel, to the Lord to Serve Him

Hannah Lends Her Son, Samuel, to the Lord to Serve Him

1 Samuel 2:1-36                The Book of 1 Samuel [in Smaller Chunks]

Hannah prayed & said, My heart [rejoices] & my horn is exalted in the Lord. My mouth [smiles] over my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. There [are] none Holy as the Lord: for there is [no other God] beside You. [1 Chronicles 16:25-26 For great is the Lord, & to be greatly praised. He also is to be feared, [a.k.a. respected,] above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.]

Neither is there any Rock like our God. [Deuteronomy 32:4 He Is the Rock, & His work is perfect. For all His ways are judgment, [a.k.a. justice.] A God of Truth & without [sin.] He Is Just & Right.]

No [longer] talk, so [exceedingly] proudly; & [don't] let [arrogant] [words] come out of your mouth. For the Lord is a God of knowledge, & actions are weighed by Him. [Isaiah 2:11-12 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, & the haughtiness, [a.k.a. arrogance,] of men shall be bowed down. And the Lord, Alone, shall be exalted [on] that day. For the Day of the Lord of Hosts, shall be upon everyone, [who] is proud & lofty. And upon everyone, [who] is lifted up, he shall be brought low.]

The bows of the mighty men, [a.k.a. archers,] are broken, & [those who] stumbled are [clothed] with strength. [Those who] were full, [a.k.a. satisfied with plenty,] have [now] hired themselves out for bread. And [those who] were hungry ceased, [a.k.a. come to an end.]

So, the barren, [a.k.a. childless, has bore] 7, & she [who] had many children has [grown] feeble. The Lord kills & [makes] alive. He [brings] down to the grave & [raises] up. The Lord [makes] the poor & [makes the] rich. He [brings] low & [lifts] up.

He [raises] the poor up, out of the dust, & [lifts] up the beggar from the [garbage pile,] to set them among princes & to make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s & He [has put] the world upon them.

He will keep the feet of His saints & the wicked shall be [kept] silent in darkness; for no man shall prevail by strength. The Lord’s [enemies] shall be broken to pieces & He shall thunder upon them out of heaven.

The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth & He shall give strength to His king, & exalt the horn of His anointed. And Elkanah went to his house in Ramah. And the child, [a.k.a. Samuel, ministered] to the Lord [in front of] Eli, the priest.

Now, the sons of Eli were sons of Belial, [a.k.a. worthless men] & they [didn’t know] the Lord. And the priest’s custom with the people was, that, when any man offered [a] sacrifice, the priest’s servant came  while the [meat] was [boiling,] with his [3 pronged meat hook] in his hand.

And he [scooped the meat hook] into the: pan, kettle, caldron, or pot, & the priest took for himself all that the [meat hook] brought up. They did [this] in Shiloh to all the Israelites [who] came [there.]

Also, before they burned the fat, the priest’s servant came & said to the man [who] sacrificed, Give [me the] [meat] to roast for the priest, for he won’t have [boiled meat from] you, but [only] raw [meat to be roasted.]

And if any man said to him, [Don't] let them fail to burn the fat [first,] & then take as much as your soul [desires,] then he would answer, [No,] but you [shall] give it, [a.k.a. the fat,] to me now, [uncooked,] & if not, I will take it [from you] by force. [For this reason,] the sin of the young men, [a.k.a. Eli’s sons,] was very [large,] before the Lord: for the offering of the Lord for men, [had become] [loathsome.]

[Leviticus 5:12–13 Then, he shall bring it to the priest, & the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial [portion] [of it,] & burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. It is a sin offering. And the priest shall make an atonement for him, [related to] his sin, that he [has] sinned in one of these, & it shall be forgiven him, & the [rest] shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.]

But Samuel ministered before the Lord, being a child, [clothed] with a linen ephod. [Additionally,] his mother made him a little coat, & brought it to him [each] year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.

Eli blessed Elkanah & [Hannah,] his wife, & said, The Lord give you seed, [a.k.a. offspring, by] this woman for the loan [of Samuel, who] is lent to the Lord, & they went to their own home.

And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, & [bore] 3 sons & 2 daughters. The child, Samuel, grew before the Lord. Now, Eli was very old, & heard all that his sons did to all [of] Israel. And how they lay, [intimately] with the women, [who] assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And [Eli] said to them, Why do you [do] such things? For I hear of your evil [actions] by all [these] people. [No,] my sons; for it [isn’t a] good report that I hear. You make the Lord’s people to transgress, [a.k.a. sin.]

If one man [sins] against another, the judge shall judge him. But if a man [sins] against the Lord, who [shall defend] him? They [still, didn’t pay attention] to the voice of their father, because the Lord [intended to kill] them.

And the child, Samuel grew, & was in favor with both the Lord, & also with men. And a man of God came to Eli, & said to him, The Lord [says this,] [Didn’t] I plainly, [a.k.a. visibly,] appear to the house of your [forefathers,] when they were in Pharaoh’s house in Egypt? [Exodus 14:26-29 And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand over the [Red] Sea, [so] that the waters may come again upon the: Egyptians; their chariots; & their horsemen. And Moses stretched [out] his hand over the  sea, & the sea returned to [its] strength when morning appeared. And the Egyptians fled against it. And the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. And the waters returned, & covered the: chariots; horsemen, & all [Pharaoh's army] that came into the sea after them, [a.k.a. Israelites.] Not so much as one remained of them there. But the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel, walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea. And the waters were a wall to them on their right hand [side,] & on their left.]

[Didn’t] I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer upon [My] altar, to burn incense & to wear an ephod before Me? [Didn’t] I give to the house of your father all the offerings made by fire of the children, [a.k.a. people] of Israel?

[For what reason do] you kick, [a.k.a. rebel,] at My sacrifice, & [My] offering, which I have commanded [for My dwelling place,] & [you honor] your sons above Me, to make yourselves fat with the [best] of all the offerings of Israel, My people?

[For this reason,] the Lord God of Israel [says,] I indeed said your house, & the house of your [forefathers,] should walk before Me forever. But now the Lord [says,] Be it far from Me; for [those who] honor Me, I will honor & [those who] despise Me, shall be lightly [thought of.]

[Watch,] the days come, that I will cut off your arm, & the arm of your father’s house,[so] that there [won’t] be an old man in your house. And you shall see an enemy in My [dwelling place,] in all the wealth [that] God shall give Israel. And there shall not be an old man in your house forever.

And [those of] your [men,] whom I [don’t] cut off from [My] altar, shall be to consume your eyes, [by crying,] & your heart [shall be] [grieved.] All the [future generations] of your house shall die in [their prime.]

And this shall be a sign to you, [of what] shall come upon your 2 sons: Hophni & Phinehas; in 1 day, they both shall die. And I will raise up a faithful priest [for] Me, [who] shall do according to [what] is in [My] heart & My mind.

And I will build him a [secure] house, & he shall walk before [My] anointed forever. It shall [happen,] that everyone [who] is left in your house shall come & [bow down] to him for a piece of silver & a [crumb] of bread, & shall say, I pray [that] you put me into 1 of the priests’ [positions, so] I may eat a piece of bread.
