About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Ruth 3:1-18 Naomi’s Plan to Give Rest to Her Daughter-in-Law, Ruth

Naomi’s Plan to Give Rest to Her Daughter-in-Law, Ruth

Ruth 3:1-18                   The Book of Ruth [in Smaller Chunks]

Then Naomi, her mother-in-law, said to [Ruth,] My daughter, [shouldn’t] I seek rest for you, [so] things [go] well [for] you? Isn’t Boaz our [close relative,] with whose [maidens you’re with?]

[See,] he [is separating the chaff] from the barley tonight in the threshing floor. Therefore, wash & anoint [yourself,] & put your [best clothing] on you, & [go] down to the [threshing] floor, but [don’t] make yourself known to the man, [a.k.a. Boaz,] until he [has finished] eating & drinking.

And it shall [happen,] when [Boaz lies] down, that you [shall note] the place where he shall lie [down.] And you [shall] go in, & uncover his feet & lay [yourself] down. And [Boaz] will tell you what you [shall] do. And [Ruth] said to [Naomi,] I will do all that you [said] to me. And [Ruth] went down to the floor, & did according to all her mother-in-law [requested of] her.

And when Boaz had eaten & drunk, & his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of [a] heap of corn: & [Ruth] came softly & uncovered [the] feet of [Boaz] & laid [herself] down.

And it [happened] at midnight, [Boaz] was [startled] & turned himself, & [saw,] a woman lay at his feet. And he said, Who [are] you? And she answered, I am Ruth, your handmaid. Therefore, spread your [robe] over your handmaid, [since] you [are] a [close relative.]

And [Boaz] said, Blessed are you of the Lord, my daughter: for you [have shown] more kindness, in the end than at the beginning, [since] you [didn’t follow] young men, whether poor or rich.

And now, my daughter, [don’t be fearful.] I will do [for] you all you [request,] for all the city of my people know you are a virtuous woman. And [although] it’s now true that I am your [close relative, however] there is a [closer relative] than I [am.]

[Stay] this night, &  it shall [happen,] in the morning, if he will perform [for] you a [close] [relative’s] part, well; let him do [so.] But if he [won’t] do the part of a [relative for] you, then I will do the part of a [relative for] you, as the Lord [lives.]

Lie down until the morning. And [Ruth] lay at [the feet of Boaz] until morning, & she rose up before one could know another. And [Boaz] said, [Don’t] let it be known that a woman came into the [threshing] floor.

Also [Boaz] said, Bring the [veil, a.k.a. shawl,] you have on you, & hold it. And when she held it, [Boaz poured out] 6 measures of barley, & laid it on her [shawl,] & she went into the city. And when [Ruth] came to her mother-in-law, [Naomi] said, [How] are you, my daughter?

And [Ruth] told [Naomi] all that [Boaz] had done [for] her. And [Ruth] said, [Boaz] gave me these 6 measures of barley; for he said to me, [Don’t] go [away] empty [handed] to your mother-in-law. Then [Naomi] said, Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will [be determined:] for [Boaz] will not rest, until he has finished [this] thing [today.]
