About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Ruth 4:1-22 Ruth, Boaz, Naomi & Obed

Ruth, Boaz, Naomi & Obed

Ruth 4:1-22                   The Book of Ruth [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, Boaz went up to the gate & sat down there & [saw that] the [close relative] of whom Boaz [had spoken] came by. [Boaz asked him,] Turn aside & sit down here [& he did.] [Boaz] took 10 men [from] the city & said, Sit down here & they sat down.

[Boaz] said to the [close relative,] Naomi, [who] has [come] here again, [from] the country of Moab, sells a parcel of land, [that] was our brother Elimelech’s. I thought to [inform ] you, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants & elders of my people.

If you will redeem it, redeem it, but if you won’t redeem it, then tell me, [so] I may know. For there is none [closer] to redeem it [besides] you & I am after you. [The close relative] said, I will redeem it.

Then, Boaz said, [The] day you buy the field at the hand of Naomi, you must also buy it [from] Ruth, the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name [of her deceased husband] upon his inheritance.

The relative said, I can’t redeem it for myself, lest I [endanger] my own inheritance. [You can] redeem my right to [it] yourself, [since] I can’t redeem it.

To confirm redeeming things, [as] was [done in the past] in Israel, a man [took] off his shoe & gave it [to the other] as a testimony in Israel. Therefore, the [close relative] said to Boaz, Buy it for yourself.

So, [Boaz took] off his shoe & said to the elders & all the people, You are witnesses, this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, Chilion’s & Mahlon’s, [from] the hand of Naomi.

[Also,] Ruth, the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, [whom] I have [redeemed] to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, [so] the name [isn’t] cut off from among his brethren & the gate of his [home.] You are witnesses this day.

And all the people in the gate & the elders said, We are witnesses. [Let] the Lord make the woman [who comes] into your house like Rachel & like Leah, [who both] built the house of Israel & do worthily [to] you in Ephratah & be famous in Bethlehem.

Let your house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar [gave birth] unto Judah & the [descendants that] the Lord will give you [by] this young woman. So, Boaz took Ruth & she was his wife & [was intimate with her] & the Lord [allowed her to conceive] & she [delivered] a son.

*And the women said to Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, [Who] has not left you this day without [a grandson,] that his name may be famous in Israel. [Luke 3:23 And Jesus, Himself, began to be about 30 years of age, being (as was [thought]) the son of Joseph, who was the son of Heli.] [Luke 3:31-3 [Who] was the son of Melea, [who] was the son of Menan, [who] was the son of Mattatha, [who] was the son of Nathan, [who] was the son of David, [who] was the son of Jesse, [who] was the son of Obed, [who] was the son of Boaz, [who] was the son of Salmon, [who] wa the son of Naasson.]

He shall [renew] your life & [assist you in] your old age: for your daughter-in-law, [who] loves you & [who has given birth to him,] which is better to you than 7 sons.

Naomi took the child & laid him in her bosom & became a nurse to [him.] Naomi’s [female] neighbors gave [him] the name [of:] Obed.

* [Obed became] the father of Jesse, [who was] the father of David. [Matthew 1:1 The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the [descendant] of David, the [descendant] of Abraham.]

Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez [fathered] Hezron. Hezron [fathered] Ram. Ram [fathered] Amminadab. Amminadab [fathered] Nahshon. Nahshon [fathered] Salmon. Salmon [fathered] Boaz.

*Boaz [fathered] Obed. Obed [fathered] Jesse & Jesse [fathered] David. [Matthew 1:5-6 Salmon [fathered] Boaz of Rahab [a.k.a Rachab.] Boaz [a.k.a. Booz] [fathered] Obed of Ruth & Obed [fathered] Jesse. Jesse [fathered] David, the king [who fathered] Solomon, [by] her [who] had been the wife of Uriah [a.k.a. Urias.]

[Matthew 1:17 says: So all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations. From David until the [captives are carried] away into Babylon are 14 generations. And from the [captives being carried] away into Babylon [until] Christ are 14 generations.]
