About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

2 Chronicles 16:1-14 Asa Makes a Treaty with Syria’s King

Asa Makes a Treaty with Syria’s King

2 Chronicles 16:1-14                   2 Chronicles in [Smaller Chunks]

In the 36th year Asa [ruled,] Baasha, [Israel’s] king, built Ramah [next to] Judah, [with] the intent that he might not let [anyone] go out or come in to Asa, [Judah’s] king.

Then, Asa brought out the silver & gold treasures [from] the [Lord’s] house & the king’s [palace.] [Asa] sent to Damascus to Ben Hadad, [Syria’s] king, saying, [Let] there [be] a treaty between you & me [like] there was between your father & my father. [Look,] I have sent you silver & gold.

Go, break your [treaty] with Baasa, [Israel’s] king, [so] that he may depart from me. Ben Hadad [listened] to king Asa & sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel. And they [attacked] Ijon, Dan, Abel Maim & all the [storage] cities of Naphtali.

It [happened that] when Baasha heard it, he [stopped] building Ramah & let his work [stop.] The king Asa took all Judah & they carried away the stones of Ramah & [its] the timber. Baasha [used these to build] Gerar & Mizpah.

At that time, Hannah, the seer [prophet that has divine visions] came to Asa, [Judah’s] king, & said to him, Because you have relied on the king of Syria & not relied on the Lord, your God, therefore the [army] of [Syria’s] king escaped out of your hand.

Weren’t the Ethiopians & Lubims a huge [army] with many chariots & horsemen? Yet, because you [had] relied on the Lord, He delivered them into your hand.

[2 Chronicles 14:9-12 And there came out against them Zerah, the Ethiopian, with an [army] of 1,300 chariots & came to Mareshah. And Asa cried [out] to the Lord, his God & said, Lord, it is nothing [for] You to help, whether with many, or with [those who are powerless to] help us, O Lord, our God.

For we rest on You & in Your Name, we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God. [Don’t] let man prevail against You. So, the Lord [struck] the Ethiopians [in front of] Asa & Judah & the Ethiopians fled.]

For the eyes of the Lord run to & fro throughout the whole earth, to [show] Himself strong on behalf of [those ] whose heart is [without blame] toward Him. [In this,] you have done foolishly. Therefore, from [now on] you shall have wars.

Then, Asa was [ angry] with the seer, & put him in prison, [because of his] rage [about] this thing. [Also,] Asa oppressed some of the people [during] the same time. And [look,] the [actions] of Asa, 1st & last are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah & Israel.

In the 39th year Asa [ruled,] his feet [were diseased,] until his disease was exceedingly great, [but] he [didn’t turn to] the Lord [with] his disease, but to the physicians. Asa [died] & slept with his [forefathers] in the 41st year he [ruled.]

They buried [Asa] in his own [tomb,] which he had made for himself in the city of David & [they] laid him in the [coffin,] which was filled with sweet [perfumes & various] kinds of spices prepared by the [apothecaries.] And they made a very [large] burning for him.
