About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Chronicles 19:1-19 David Sent Comforters to Hanum When His Father Died

David Sent Comforters to Hanum When His Father Died

1 Chronicles   19:1-19    1 Chronicles in [Smaller Chunks]

After this, Nahash, the king of the children [people] of Ammon died & his son [ruled] in his place. David said, I will [show] kindness to Hanum, [Nahash'] son, because his father [showed] kindness to me.

David sent messengers to comfort [Hanum about] his father. So, [David's] servants came into the land of the [people] of Ammon to Hanum, to comfort him.

But the [Ammonite] princes said to Hanum, Do you think that David honors your father, that he has sent comforters to you? Aren't his servants [here] to search, [spy out the land & overthrow [it]? [Therefore,] Hanun, [seized] David's servants & shaved them & cut off their [clothes] by their [rear] & sent them away.

David [was] told how the men were [treated.] [David] sent messengers to meet them: for the men were [very embarrassed.] King David said, [Stay] at Jericho until your beards [are regrown] & then return.

When the [Ammonite people] saw they [had] made themselves [repulsive to] David, [then,] Hanum & the [people] of Ammon sent 1,000 talents of silver to hire chariots & horsemen out of: Mesopotamia,  Syria Maachah & Zobah.

So, they hired 32,000 chariots & the king of [Syria] Maachah & his people came & [camped in front of] Medeba. The [people] of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cities & came to battle.

When David heard of [this,] he sent Joab & all the [army] of mighty men. The [people] of Ammon, put them in battle [formation in front of] the gate of the city And the kings [who] were there, were by themselves in the field.

Now, when Joab saw that the [soldiers were positioned for] battle [in front of & behind them, [Joab] chose [soldiers] out of all the [best] of Israel & put them in [battle formation] against the Syrians.

[Joab] delivered the rest of the people to the hand of Abishai, his brother & they set themselves in [order] against the [people] of Ammon. [Joab] said, If the Syrians [are] too strong for me, then you shall help me. If the [people] of Ammon [are] too strong for you, then I will help you.

Be of good courage & let's behave valiantly for our people & for the cities of our God. Let the Lord do what is good in His sight. So, Joab & the [troops] with him [came close, in order] to [fight] the Syrians & the Syrians fled before [Joab.]

Be of good courage & let's behave valiantly for our people & for the cities of our God. Let the Lord do what is good in His sight. So, Joab & the [troops] with him [came close, in order] to [fight] the Syrians & the Syrians fled before [Joab.]

When the Syrians saw [they had been defeated by] Israel, they sent messengers & [brought] the Syrians beyond the river. Shophach, the captain of [Hadarezer's] army, went [in front of] them.

David was told & he gathered all Israel & [crossed] over [the] Jordan [River] & came upon them & [put them in battle formation] against [the Syrians.] When David [had them in battle formation,] the Syrians fought [against] him, but the Syrians fled [in front of] Israel.

David [killed] 7,000 Syrians who fought in chariots, 40,000 footmen & killed Shophach, the captain of [Hadarezer's army] who [had gone in the front of] them.

When [Hadarezer's] servants saw they were [defeated before] Israel, they made peace with David & became his servants. The Syrians [wouldn't] help the [people] of Ammon anymore.
